Tuning the Diamonds - Electromagnetism and Spiritual Evolution
by Susan Joy Rennison.
A Dire Gnosis Review.
The author is English (- a graduate in physics and geophysics), currently living in Norway. She recently visited Glastonbury, and we spent an evening discussing the forthcoming shift.
The book explores fringe and little-known scientific discoveries and shows how these compliment and explain channelled material - mainly from the Seth material, and Kryon. In this respect it is similar to the work of David Wilcock, who cross-references Russian and other scientific papers with the Ra channellings of the Law of One. Many of Rennison's conclusions echo my own conclusions in Beyond 2012 - Catastrophe or Ecstasy ( I include the subtitle, since there are now other Beyond 2012 books out ). In fact, she includes some of the same NASA pictures in her colour section as in the colour plates of Beyond 2012.
I must take issue with the Maya section - mainly p.58-61, in which Willard Van de Bogart's online reviews of John Major Jenkins' books, Maya Cosmogenesis 2012, and Galactic Alignment are cited - a long quote from Jenkins is actually quoted verbatim from the de Bogart review, giving the impression that it was selected by the author, but there is no evidence she has read either book. The comment that "Scholars who study galactic cosmology and cultural heritage, accept that the Mayan elders and priests maintain a highly creditable body of knowledge" is a misunderstanding - as far as the 260-day Tzolkin goes, it is correct - as stated by Jim Reed at the end of de Bogart's review - but there is no evidence that the Maya retained any knowledge of the Long Count and 13-baktun cycle after the Classic Era ended around 900 AD (Carlos Barrios has hinted that some isolated groups have preserved the odd codex, but we have yet to see the evidence).
The book describes the current changes in Sun and Earths magnetic fields and explores plasma physics in some detail, citing some little-known Norwegian research, - a diamond bodyand also includes the whole of Dmitriev's Planetophysical State of the Earth and Life as an appendix. She sees a connection between the incoming "Space Weather" and Maya prophecy, concluding that the electromagnetic changes will drive an evolutionary shift for mankind. Plasma, says Rennison, was apparently discovered by Tesla, and called "radiant energy" (p.174), yet on p. 218, she says that Tesla's radiant energy is known as Scalar energy in the West, and Torsion energy by the Russians. I must ask her to clarify this point when I see her at the Sunrise festival and the Glastonbury Symposium this year.
The book is quite science-dense, but the author has tried to put the more complex parts in marked areas so that they can be skipped by those who don't like too much science. It is well-written and quite compelling reading, but hasn't been properly proof-read, and there are a lot of typos, which are quite irritating. Rennison recently told me in an email that many of these have now been eradicated, and they are only printed in small batches, so when I give her my annotated copy in a few weeks, they should be virtually eliminated.
Rennison claims that the human energy field is octohedral - a diamond body - as mentioned by Ananda, and this has a relationship to the Earth, symbolised in the Great Pyramid (as Northern hemisphere, with implied southern hemisphere underneath it), and can be used to protect our psyches from the effects of the "space weather" and Earth changes.
The book cover implies that the book explains ""New Energy" techniques to empower humans , who choose to raise their level of consxciousness and take more responsibility for what happens on Earth." However, this seems to boil down to a meditation summed up in two lines:
1. Imagine yourself inside a huge octahedron(2 pyramids base to base) with the center at your waist.
2. Imagine feelings of safety and comfort. (p.193).
In summary, the book is full of fascinating fringe science discoveries about space weather, solar physics, energy, the human aura and Earth's energy grid, but lacks a good conclusion. There is a huge amount of information that needs summarising at the end, to put it all in perspective, but we are left convinced that an exciting evolutionary leap is imminent, but are only told to imagine we are in a safe octahedron in preparation...and we are told that the "EMF Balancing Technique" practitioners will be able to help us further (the author being one of these).
The book is well illustrated, has appendices, very extensive notes and references section, that gives it authority, plus a glossary and an index. It is an important book, and quite large and thick, at 360 pages, but seems like it just needs finishing off. Since the author is self-published, and the book is still being perfected, it is getting better all the time...I want to read it again!
VERDICT: Well worth buying!
