According to@Grok, The old Chicago Federal Building (the Beaux-Arts structure designed by Henry Ives Cobb, completed in 1905, and located on the block bounded by Dearborn, Adams, Clark, and Jackson) was demolished in 1965. It was replaced by the The Chicago Federal Center designed by Mies van der Rohe includes the John C. Kluczynski Federal Building, at right. and the Loop Station Post Office (also called the U.S. Post Office Loop Station). Presuably that i the low buildings in the forefront above.

The Singer Building (also known as the Singer Tower) was an office building and early skyscraper at the northwestern corner of Liberty Street and Broadway in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, New York City. It served as as the headquarters of the Singer Manufacturing Company. We are informed it was commissioned by the company's leader Frederick Gilbert Bourne and designed by architect Ernest Flagg in multiple phases from 1897 to 1908. The building's architecture contained elements of the Beaux-Arts and French Second Empire styles.

For those who have ever been to Hoover Dam, it’s almost guaranteed they have seen Oskar J.W. Hansen’s Winged Figures, which has stood for nearly nine decades.
As part of that monument is Hansen’s Star Map, which shows the planetary alignments at the exact moment President Franklin Delano Roosevelt dedicated Hoover Dam in 1935 as well as other significant moments in human history.

The base of the column features four bronze reliefs of Nelson's naval victories that were added between 1849 and 1854.

below the equator and becoming the harbinger of winter and desolation; and the Sun became a man in the sign Aquarius, or watery season, and in that character was so worshipped.” I have copies of both these books but they are a tough read.
