TUCSON (KGUN-9) - It was a normal Sunday in Vail for Geradine Vargas. Normal, until she and her husband stumbled upon something kind of weird. "We were taking photos around the area and we just...I mean, how could you miss this?" Geradine said. "It was just like glittering in the sun." Thousands of tiny, purple-hued spheres piled in the middle of no where. "It's just one of those things that you've never seen before." They were watery, some where translucent, and the pile was completely isolated. Gerardine was amazed, and she wanted answers. Comment: Theres are lots of suggestions but maybe someone will get the stuff tested in a lab, but it is of interest as there have been reports of other cosmic 'gunk' falling in recent years. POLONNARUWA METEORITE WITH EVIDENCE OF LIFE FROM OUTER SPACE DESCRIBED THE MOST IMPORTANT FIND IN 500 YEARS Lanka Web, 13th January 2013 A meteorite that Landed recently, close to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa in Sri Lanka has been described as the most important scientific discovery in the last 500 years as it carried “compelling evidence of life” from outer space. The scientists who discovered the contents of the meteorite said, “we report here the first compelling evidence for life existing outside the earth.’ Following extensive lab work in the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka four scientists in a paper said , “We report the discovery for the first time of fossilized diatoms in a carbonaceous meteorite that fell on 29 December 2012”. Diatoms are a variety of algae. They very firmly said contamination, a hazard scientists face when examining things fallen from the sky on the ground is excluded in the meteorite they have named Polonnaruwa. The four scientists, Chandra Wickramasinghe, J. Wallis, D.H.Wallis, and Anil Samaranayaka said, there are also structures in the meteorite similar to the red rain cells that fell within days in the area. [...] The team in a paper to be published in the Journal of Cosmology added, “The new data on fossil diatom provide strong evidence to support the theory of Cometary Panspermia” -a theory that says life came to our planet earth and other worlds hitchhiking on comets from far corners of the universe. Comment: I have enormous respect for Chandra Wickramasinghe, a true fighter for the truth. I agree with this final statement, “The universe, not humans must have the final say to declare what the world is really like.”
Sri Lanka to investigate the cause of red rain received in some parts Colombo Page, 16th November 2012 Nov 16, Colombo: Sri Lanka Medical Research Institute (MRI) has commenced investigations to ascertain the cause of the red rain received by several parts of the island. Director General of MRI Dr. Anil Samaranayake said the MRI has received the samples of rainwater collected from the areas where the red rain was reported. Red rain was reported on November 14 from Sevenagala area and on November 15 from Moneragala and Manampitiya areas in the southeastern parts of the island. No damage to life or property has been reported due to the unusual rain. Increase in the acidity of the air and sand storms are the usual reasons for red rain. Sri Lanka does not get sand storms. Dr. Samaranayake said similar rains were reported from Kerala of India in 2001 and most recently in June 2012 and recently released reports said that the rainwater got red color possibly due to spores of algae or similar organism. Comment: It is a scientific fact that bacteria live high up in Earth's atmosphere suspended by high atmospheric currents. Hence, I am now wondering with the geomagnetic chaos associated with space weather, that we are seeing more of this bacteria-like material being brought down to Earth, rather than simply falling off the back of a passing comet and entering Earth's atmosphere.
Sugar Found In Space: A Sign of Life? Organic molecules found in gas swaddling a young star National Geographic, 29th August 2012 Astronomers have made a sweet discovery: simple sugar molecules floating in the gas around a star some 400 light-years away, suggesting the possibility of life on other planets. The discovery doesn't prove that life has developed elsewhere in the universe—but it implies that there is no reason it could not. It shows that the carbon-rich molecules that are the building blocks of life can be present even before planets have begun forming. Scientists use the term "sugar" to loosely refer to organic molecules known as carbohydrates, which are made up of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Comment: More evidence that suggests that life could be ubiquitous in the universe. But as I keep stating, there could be many different forms of life that have different biological rules to define life than the rules that apply on Earth. Red Rain in India May Have Alien Origin Epoch News, 11th August 2012 A rare shower of red rain fell for about 15 minutes in the city of Kannur, Kerala, India, early on June 28. Local residents were perturbed, but this is not the first time the state has experienced colored rain. This strange phenomenon was first recorded in Kerala a few hours after a meteor airburst in July 2001, when a space rock exploded in the atmosphere. More than 120 such rain showers were reported that year, including yellow, green, and black ones. [...] According to Louis, red particles in the atmosphere from a fragmented meteor probably seeded the red rain clouds. “There can be roughly of the order of 100 million cells in one liter of red rain water,” he said. “The red rain can appear like black coffee if the concentration of the cells increases in the rain water.” These “alien” cells resemble normal cells, but lack conventional biological molecules like DNA, and are expected to have different biochemistry. [...] “Yellow rain and red rain are related as both show an unusual characteristic: autofluorescence,” he said. “It is inferred that the materials dissolved in the yellow rain are the biological byproducts of these micro-organisms.” [...] Read Louis’ research paper on the red rains in 2001 here. Comment: That's interesting. Here we have a astrobiologist confessing that yellow rain is also of extraterrestrial origin... I think I have recorded at least one example in recent years., but we have quite an interesting selection of cosmic 'gunk' raining down on us in recent years.... Water May Not Be So Important for Life After All Gizmodo, 9th August 2012 "A team of researchers from the Institute for Structural Biology in Grenoble, France, took myoglobin proteins—which carry oxygen to muscle and give flesh its red color—and swapped out the water that usually coats their surface for a synthetic polymer. Doing so turns the proteins into a syrup-like fluid—and, it was expected, would dramatically change their function. But to the researchers' surprise, they work just the same as ever: they remain flexible, behave just the same on the inside, and can still bind oxygen as well as in living tissue. Myglobin, at least, couldn't care less about H20." Comment: This is just another brick taken out of the wall that closes scientists' minds to the possibility of many different forms of life that have different rules to life on Earth. Artificial jellyfish created from heart cells BBC News, 23rd July 2012 The work also points to a broader definition of "synthetic life" in an emerging field of science that has until now focused on replicating life's building blocks, say the researchers. Prof Parker said he wanted to challenge the traditional view of synthetic biology which is "focused on genetic manipulations of cells". Instead of building just a cell, he sought to "build a beast". The two groups at Caltech and Harvard worked for years to understand the key factors that contribute to jellyfish propulsion, including the arrangement of their muscles, how their bodies contract and recoil, and how fluid dynamics helps or hinders their movements. The finding serves as a proof of concept for reverse engineering a variety of muscular organs and simple life forms. [...] The work also points to a broader definition of "synthetic life" in an emerging field of science that has until now focused on replicating life's building blocks, say the researchers. Comment: Quite frankly, this is the kind of research you would expect astrobiologists to be doing especially since we are seeing so many jellyfish entities in the skies. What's more, this is especially interesting as scientists have managed to photograph lots of atmospheric sprites (since 1990) that appear like jellyfish in the sky.... Think about it, Earth becomes a high energy plasma environment and we start seeing a lot of different jellyfish type manifestations, a simple lifeform that can operate in an electrically conducting medium, but it seems nature has developed a lifeform to swim in the electrically conducting atmosphere of Earth... This is seriously interesting research for thinkers.... World's 1st Free Course on "Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life" Daily Galaxy, 19th July 2012 Edinburgh University’s upcoming free course, “Introduction to Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life” will open up an exciting new era in the study of extraterrestrial life. According to Jeff Haywood, vice principal of the University of Edinburgh, the number of students for the online course is potentially 100,000 or more. The course reflects the ever increasing global awareness of the possibility of extraterrestrial life and its societal implications. Comment: I hope someone puts the lectures up on YouTube. I can read books on my own without any outside motivation and I don't need a certificate. I want to know what people are being taught and this short course might help me to understand why astrobiologists don't want to recognise that a shadow biosphere – a lifeform made up of plasma entities – exists on this planet. Whatever, it really does not take a great deal of effort to find out that some have known this for a very long time.... If you want an indication, I can recommend the so-called science fiction book Sinister Barrier (1939) with an interesting description of a lifeform that is remarkably similar to the orbs that we know exist as "a phenomenon new to science". Despite the fact that there was not a great deal of research about plasmas at that time, presumably somebody somewhere made a connection with 'radiant' energy. Thus, today, we can deduce that scientists have been researching plasmas that makes up 99.999% of the universe for the last 150 years. We can also deduce there must be a few intelligent preople who must realise that orbs and UAPs are the original form of life..... Really this is so basic you don't need a Ph.D. to come to this conclusion, especially when recent research explains how these orbs can be manufactured easily with a few sparks.... of consciousness.... The more you know about plasma, the more you really have to wonder why more scientists are not interested in the obvious... Where Are The Extraterrestrials? The People Speak... Science 2.0 News, 19th July 2012 "Physicist Enrico Fermi famously asked, “Where is everybody?” The Fermi Paradox or The Great Silence refers to this quandary of why we have never encountered extraterrestrial civilizations. [...] I recently crowd-sourced this question on the web; the top responses are presented here, ranging from the serious and thoughtful to the humorous and ironic. Here are the top vote-getters… followed in each case by my comments." Comment: #5 made me laugh, but I generally agree with the "zoo hypothesis" with humans being considered as a protected species by off planet observers who only feel the need to protect us from the real dross that might want to subjugate or even interbreed with real humans from time to time. I think the evidence shows that the caretaking has not been a complete success and this explains the existence of a certain percentage of psychopaths on this planet who we should worry more about than any ETs that are off-planet... University makes space for online course on alien life The Scotsman, 17th July 2012 Today, Edinburgh was announced as the first university in the UK to join the Coursera consortium, an organisation set up by senior academics at Stanford University to provide free online undergraduate level courses to anyone who wants to access them. [...] The final week includes asking how contact with an extraterrestrial intelligence would be dealt with and what would be the impact on society. It concludes with the question “who would represent Earth?” in the event of first contact. Among the five week courses open to anyone, is the curious-sounding "Introduction to Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life" tutored by Professor Charles Cockell, the academic who led Project Boreas, which planned and designed a research station for the Martian North Pole. Students who enrol on Cockell's course will study the potential for life elsewhere in the universe, including how life survives in "extreme environments." As part of this introduction to astrobiology, a discipline defined as "the origin, evolution, and distribution of life in the universe and space exploration", the possibility of intelligent alien life will be probed. Comment: Edinburgh University are only providing a short introductory course to astrobiology, but some media outlets have decided to sensationalise the fact, see UFO 'Degree' On Alien Life Forms Is Among Free Courses Offered By Edinburgh University. M'sian UFOs: We are not ALONE Malaysia Chronicle, 7th July 2012 ARE THERE OTHER LIFE FORMS? Over the years, society has been intrigued by the idea of an advanced and intellectual foreign race fully equipped with laser guns and oval-shaped aircraft. Punitha Kumar speaks to local UFO enthusiasts and seeks if 'the truth is out there' "THE clear blue skies were roaring." This was what the villagers of Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, said when questioned during an extraterrestrial site visit conducted by the National Space Agency (Angkasa) at the beginning of this year. Angkasa (strategic and international relations unit) head and scientific officer Mohd Zamri Shah Mastor, who was part of a five-man team there, said more than 10,000 villagers believed there were extraterrestrial activities taking place in the vicinity. [...] "Angkasa's stand is never to deny there are other life forms apart from humans, but if there is no proof sustaining claims and allegations of green-eyed monsters, we will not speculate." Comment: This is a strange article coming from Malaysia..... So.... is this a case of officialdom just monitoring UAP activity? As it is now very clear, anyone who is anyone knows that the inhabitants of planet Earth are most certainly not alone... it is undeniable because the scientific evidence and otherwise is overwhelming... "Preponderance of evidence" UFOs exist: expert CBS News, 30th June 2012 "Is there really someone out there, or not? Rebecca Jarvis and Terrell Brown spoke with James Fox and Erin Ryder of the new National Geographic Channel show "Chasing UFOs" about their findings." I think UFO/UAP disclosure is coming.... Forget little green men: Aliens may look like jellyfish with orange bottoms, says government adviser Daily Mail, 6th July 2012 Forget little green men. Aliens may look like giant jellyfish with orange bottoms, a leading space scientist has claimed. Maggie Aderin-Pocock, a satellite expert and government adviser, said it is likely that there is extra-terrestrial life - it is just more alien than you’d imagine. Rather than being the little green men so beloved of Hollywood directors, they may look like football-field sized jellyfish, complete with onion-shaped appendages and an orange underbelly or bottom. Generated from silicon, rather than the carbon that is the basis of life as we know it, the creatures are able to live off light absorbed through their ‘skin’ and chemicals sucked in through their giant mouths. Other alien adaptations could include ‘talking’ via pulses of light. But while they might resemble jellyfish, they will live not in the sea but in the atmosphere of a Jupiter-like planet, where they float around. The orange underside acts as camouflage, allowing them to escape predators in a fiery atmosphere, while the onion-like appendages act as buoyancy sacs, taking in and letting out gas so it can gain or lose altitude like a hot air balloon. Comment: Even though we are being told the opinion of one 'government adviser', these jelly fish type entities have been seen floating around in our skies... see various reports in the News of the Imbalance archives or google to find reports on various other UFO websites. This appears to be 'soft' disclosure, so it does look like officialdom are continuing to wake folk up to the reality of Earth becoming a cosmic acquarium. Governments simply have no choice, because ancient warnings of 'The Return of the Gods' or 'The Return of the Ancestors' associated with the start of a new World Age have proven to be accurate. Full disclosure of the existence of a shadow biosphere cannot be much longer now.... I don't believe there is a threat (neither do the military), because we have lived alongside the shadow biosphere forever... We must remember, that they are most likely the original form of life and whether we can see them or not, over millions of years of regular influxes, humans are still here. Witnesses see "Giant Jellyfish" in the sky over Leakesville, Mississippi Lights in the sky, 4th July 2012 There have been many recent reports but please note the shadow biosphere is a very large range of plasma entities.... More discussion and links over at ATS Forget little green men: Aliens may look like jellyfish with orange bottoms! Would Finding Aliens Shatter Religious Beliefs? Space.com, 25th June 2012 SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The discovery of life beyond Earth would shake up our view of humanity's place in the universe, but it probably wouldn't seriously threaten organized religion, experts say. Religious faith remains strong in much of the world despite scientific advances showing that Earth is not the center of the universe, and that our planet's organisms were not created in their present form but rather evolved over billions of years. So it's likely that religion would also weather any storms caused by the detection of E.T., researchers say. [...] God's other children? [& critters....] Further, the news that we're not alone in the universe likely wouldn't come as a huge shock, because large numbers of people in the United States and abroad already believe that E.T. is out there somewhere. [...] So rather than being shaken to its foundations by the confirmation of life on another planet or moon, organized religion may accept the news, adapt and move on. Comment: Hmmmm.... interesting...... Maybe some folk realise that it is now impossible to ignore the reality of our cosmic neighbours floating about... here, there and everywhere... Are Some UFOs Living Space Beings? Huffington Post, 26th June 2012 It looks like a few more folk are engaging brain.... There is some interesting info here... California Meteor Found Packed With Alien Organics Daily Galaxy, 2nd May 2012 A sonic boom heard in California last week had an out-of-this world origin as ”a large meteoric event” according to NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office. Scientists now estimate the blast measured in near 5 kilotons or roughly 1/3 the power of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan during World War II.Bill Cooke of the Meteoroid Environment Office at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, estimates the object was about the size of a minivan, weighed in at around 154,300 pounds. [...] Comment: I think only the beginning of the article is valuable as we are told that we have a meteorite that is rich in 'alien' organics after most astrobiologists for decades, refused to accept that anything 'organic' [amino acids and even extraterrestrial microfossils of bacteria] could be found in a meteorite, especially in rocks older than the Earth.... Meteorite hunters Find Primitive Rock near Sutter's Mill, Central California spaceweather.com, 30th April 2012 FIREBALL PHOTOS WANTED: "The meteorites appear to be CM chondrites," he continues. This would make the sample very primitive, possibly contiaining minerals and compounds preserved from a time when the solar system was very young. "I can not say more as the samples have not yet been analyzed. My main concern now is to recover perishable data of the fireball, such as video security camera footage." Odds of Finding Alien Life Boosted by Billions of Habitable Worlds Yahoo News, 28th April 2012 A new estimate of the number of habitable planets orbiting the most common type of stars in our galaxy could have huge consequences for the search for life. According to a recent study, tens of billions of planets around red dwarfs are likely capable of containing liquid water, dramatically increasing the potential to find signs of life somewhere other than Earth. Red dwarfs are stars that are fainter, cooler and less massive than the sun. These stars, which typically also live longer than Class G stars like the sun, are thought to make up about 80 percent of the stars in the Milky Way, astronomers have said. Comment: There seems to be a war going on in the media about the probability of finding life in the universe. Quite frankly, those who say that life here is unique seem to be those desperate to keep people uninformed about the sheer vastness of space and the HUGE number of stars that could support certain forms of life. Thus, it is hard to imagine just how primitive some people's thinking must be.... Even the argument used here is based on a poor assumption, maybe there are other forms of life that don't need water... XNA (Not DNA) May Form Basis for Life on Alien Planets Daily Galaxy, 23rd April 2012 Synthetic biologists have discovered that six other molecules can could store genetic information and pass it on. [...] Holliger's team focused on six XNAs (xeno-nucleic acids). DNA and RNA are made of a sugar, a phosphate and a base. The XNAs had different sugars, and in some of them the sugars are replaced with completely different molecules. Synthetic XNA, with its different sugar backbone to natural DNA, can mimic many of the properties of the real thing. Holliger and his team engineered enzymes that helped the six types of XNA to assemble and replicate genetic messages. The enzymes transcribed DNA into the various XNAs, then back into new DNA strands — with 95% accuracy or more. [...] “For the first time, this confirms that replication, heredity and evolution are possible in these alternative backbones,” says Holliger.."This is very interesting with respect to the origin of life," says Jack Szostak of Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. This suggests XNAs might form the basis of life on other planets, where different environments led to different chemistry. "I would be surprised if we find truly extraterrestrial life that was based on DNA and RNA," Holliger says. "There might have been an XNA-world on a different planet." Comment: I am not a biologist or astrobiologist, but it is difficult to comprehend why they have been so limited in their thinking about other forms of life. Now, this article casually mentions that alternatives to DNA & RNA could exist.... seriously.... why is the concept of diversity in the universe so hard to comprehend? Cosmic Rays Alter Chemistry of Lunar Ice, May Create Building Blocks of Life Science Daily, 19th March 2012 Thursday's Debate: "Advanced Extraterrestrial Life May be Beyond Human Comprehension" Daily Galaxy, 1st March 2012 Our 4.5 billion-year old Solar System exits in a universe that is estimated to be between 13.5 and 14 billion years old. Experts believe that there could be advanced civilizations out there that have existed for 1.8 gigayears (one gigayear = one billion years). The president of Britain’s Royal Society and astronomer to the Queen of England. has said that he believes the existence of extra terrestrial life may be beyond human understanding. “They could be staring us in the face and we just don’t recognize them. The problem is that we’re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology." “I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can’t conceive. Just as a chimpanzee can’t understand quantum theory, it could be there as aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains.” Comment: Daily Galaxy have decided to recycle some old quotes and I was tempted to repeat this info. I have great respect for Lord Martin Rees, who is officially the queen's astronomer, and I believe he is no damn fool. I am totally convinced he is in the know and realises that most people are too uneducated to be able to countenance the idea that another interdimensional lifeform lives side by side with humans. The evidence is overwhelming that elite scientists know the truth, they are elite because they are not stupid, but they will lie to maintain the big secret because it was deemed easier to keep the populace under some form of control... But, at the same time, I simply cannot believe that more people are not working this out, because there is a lot of information in the public domain and so many people are seeing Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAPs (UFOs and orbs). The real issue is those who refuse to believe that a structured entity that looks like a spacecraft is a lifeform. Then there a few UAPs that can change shape in a blink of an eye. I personally think it is a matter of education because it seems that we have discovered a sea creature, the Mimic Octopus that can shapeshift as and when it wants. Once we get this principle, we can be very confident that the original anomalist Charles Fort was right about diversity in the Universe. The planet is swarming with UAPs right now and if you look in the archives, I have been fairly certain there are attempts to slowly acclimatise the general public to the notion of alien life, see Best of the Blog The Search For Extraterrestrial Life. My opinion has been the authorities need to get real and start talking about shadow life and a shadow biosphere on Earth. Extraterrestrial Life Is A Censored Subject Says Famous Professor Message To Eagles, 18th February 2012 It is not often scientists are willing to openly discuss the possibility of extraterrestrial life. According to a famous astronomy professor there is a reason why a majority of scientists avoid the subject - it is censored! Even though the general public embraces ideas of extraterrestrial life, science is expected to shun this subject no matter how strong the evidence, albeit through a conspiracy of silence. It is an unwritten doctrine of science that extraterrestrial life could not exist in our immediate vicinity, or, that if such life did exist, it could not have a connection with Earth. Professor N. Chandra Wickramasinghe was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on January 20, 1939. He studied astrophysics at Cambridge, where he was a student of Hoyle's. [...] The Universe will always have its last say. [Yep, especially now that the planet is being invaded...] Comment: But of course.... On May 10, 1971, the noted British Astrophysicist and Astronomer, Sir Fred Hoyle (deceased) who had a close working relationship with Wickramasinghe, called a news conference and made the following, startling announcement: “Human beings are simply pawns in a great game, being played by alien minds, which control mankind’s every move.I read this quote at least 10 years ago but it was like water off a duck's back, because I knew nothing about the existence of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Sir Fred Hoyle like many others (some who have written science 'fiction' books...) believed that some of these entities are manipulating humanity and there is a possibilty that some of them have, but I strongly maintain that we are talking about a massive Shadow Biosphere with a wide variety of characteristics. Regardless, nowadays, the existence of 'alien' lifeforms is commonplace, but as usual, few are thinking.... I found the following just a few days ago and I was shocked after the recent furore re arsenic based life, see archives.... Sign of the apocalypse: blood waterfalls Bad Astronomy Discovery Blog, March 2nd, 2010 That is a part of Taylor Glacier, specifically the Blood Falls, located in the dry valleys of Antarctica. Apparently, a lake was covered by the glacier about 2 million years ago, trapping the microbial life inside. They have evolved independently of outside life for all that time, and were discovered due to a few leaks from under the glacier. The water coming out is red due to iron, and is incredibly salty with almost no oxygen in it. The microbes — 17 different kinds have been found there — must use sulfur as a catalyst instead of oxygen, which has never been seen before. It’s always surprising when an entirely alien ecosystem is found on Earth. Comment:So, 3.43 billion years old microfossils that are sulphur-based, living off and metabolising compounds containing sulphur rather than oxygen for energy and growth is OK. 2 million year old LIVE microbial life 17 different kinds found on Earth, that use sulfur as a catalyst instead of oxygen, which has never been seen before is OK, but LIVE arsenic-based life in Mono Lake is not allowed... I just don't get it at all... Alien life is alien life, don't you agree? Can A Scientist Define “Life”? By Carl Zimmer txchnologist.com, 10th January 2012 But there’s no good reason to assume that all life has to be like the life we’re familiar with. In 2007, a board of scientists appointed by the National Academies of Science decided they couldn’t rule out the possibility that life might be able to exist without water or carbon. If such weird life on Mars exists, Curiosity will probably miss it. Defining life poses a challenge that’s downright philosophical. There’s no ambiguity in looking for water, because we have a clear definition of it. That definition is the same whether you’re on Earth, on Mars, or in intergalactic space. It is the same whether you’re dealing with water as ice, liquid, or vapor. But there is no definition of life that’s universally agreed upon. When Portland State University biologist Radu Popa was working on a book about defining life, he decided to count up all the definitions that scientists have published in books and scientific journals. Some scientists define life as something capable of metabolism. Others make the capacity to evolve the key distinction. Popa gave up counting after about 300 definitions. Comment: I have not had time to assimilate this information yet but it is something that society will have to consider more seriously as the realisation sinks in that there is another completely different lifeform on the planet. Biopixels: Researchers create living 'neon signs' composed of millions of glowing bacteria (w/ video) PhysOrg.com, 19th December 2011 (PhysOrg.com) -- In an example of life imitating art, biologists and bioengineers at UC San Diego have created a living neon sign composed of millions of bacterial cells that periodically fluoresce in unison like blinking light bulbs. Their achievement, detailed in this week’s advance online issue of the journal Nature, involved attaching a fluorescent protein to the biological clocks of the bacteria, synchronizing the clocks of the thousands of bacteria within a colony, then synchronizing thousands of the blinking bacterial colonies to glow on and off in unison. A little bit of art with a lot more bioengineering, the flashing bacterial signs are not only a visual display of how researchers in the new field of synthetic biology can engineer living cells like machines, but will likely lead to some real-life applications. Comment: The curiosity here is whether some types of plasma orbs are actually acting as living hosts for glowing bacteria and have this same ability to switch on an off like a neon light. The original anomalist, Charles Fort believed that there is no reason why forms of life could exist that have a strange mixture of properties as this would explain a lot of 'anomalies'. Even though humans prefer distinct types and groups of species that we consider 'normal', nature is not so boring. Hence a lifeform made of a superconducting metal that can appear and disappear at will that we call flying saucers... Instead of giant cells at the bottom of the sea acting as a host for fluoresecent bacteria, we can have huge balls of light that can fly through the air acting as a host for fluorescent bacteria. See archives for details about Min Min lights in the Australian outback and the peculiar story of a farmer literally running into a Min Min light. Life on Earth: Is our planet special? BBC News, 9th December 2011 For Greek philosophers like Aristotle, Earth lay at the centre of a small universe and the idea of alien life was unthinkable. Since then the tide of opinion has turned. Astronomers have shown that Earth may be just one of myriad habitable worlds. Meanwhile biologists have shed light on how life might have originated here, and therefore on other planets too. Far from being unique, many now regard Earth as an ordinary lump of space rock and believe that life "out there" is almost inevitable. But could the truth be somewhat more complex? Comment: What amazes me about this article is the argument that all that is needed for life is a mixture of olivine and water in large quantities. Apparently, exothermic reactions on the sea floor is enough to make conditions favourable for the emergence of life, something that I don't believe is common knowledge... Olivine has been found in comet tails and the discovery caused quite a stir amongst astronomers, so I am now wondering whether this has influenced evolutionary biologists, see below for more details... Well, I am surprised this article did not mention that there is an estimated 300 sextillion stars in the universe, that is 3 trillion times 100 billion, or 3 followed by 23 zeros or 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, stars NOT planets that circle around them... but we are supposed to believe that there is only life on Earth.... It is truly hard to believe there are people who are just so Earth-centered or cosmically naive... I can't say I am impressed with the mention of Fermi's paradox either... We have orbs and UAPs flying around in broad daylight and humans are too frightened to acknowledge the reality that we are NOT alone and a completely different lifeform exists alongside us. I often wonder just how obtuse humans are... In all my frustration, I have come to realise this is not about intelligence, it's about a failure to see reality exactly as it is... I saw a ball of light floating about and pulsating and I KNEW this was an entity that was alive... If some creature has a hard shell and lives at the bottom of the sea we call it a crustacean, if an entity has a hard shell but lives in the Earth's atmosphere, those that control society have decided that you are not supposed to believe it can exist, despite all the evidence... Well, due to reality bites, individuals are being forced to wake up one by one, but it is already apparent to anyone that is paying attention, that Earth is rapidly turning into a cosmic acquarium and as predicted, the gods are back!
Origins of Life on Earth & Beyond --New Harvard Discoveries Daily Galaxy, 8th November 2011 Two of the world's preeminent scientists, Harvard astronomer Dimitar Sasselov and Jack Szostak, a Nobel Prize-winning professor of genetics at Harvard Medical School, co-founded the Harvard Origins of Life Initiative --an interdisciplinary center unlike any other in the world. It studies everything from planet formation and detection to the origin and early evolution of life. The focus of Szostak's lab is to understand how life, which depends on self-replication and Darwinian evolution, emerges from chemistry. For decades, scientists have tried to understand the basics of life by taking existing life and attempting to trace it back to its origins. But their experiments all failed. [...] So, did life originally spring from clay as some creation myths assert? Not necessarily, but it does provide a possible mechanism for explaining how life initially arose from nonliving molecules. [...] "It's exciting because we know that a particular clay mineral helps with the assembly of RNA," Szostak said. "There certainly would have been lots of environments on early Earth with clay minerals. It's something that forms relatively easily as rocks weather." [...] Szostak first showed how a simple membrane could form from clay available on the early Earth. More recently, he and others have been searching for a simple series of steps that can explain how primitive genetic material replicated itself. If they succeed, "then, since we know there are probably hundreds of millions of Earth-like planets in our galaxy alone, it would make it seem pretty darn likely that there's life in other places out there," he says. Comment: Hmmm... Now, this is interesting. If religious texts still have ancient knowledge from prior advanced cilvilisations secretly encoded, as most commentators who know about these things suggest, then it would make perfect sense that they would know that the original form of life on this planet was seeded from the stars (dust) and catalyzed with clay, but I still think that a few bolts of lightning are needed to infuse some 'life' into the dust and clay... Well, it does seem like a few scientists are working overtime making sure that some more people realise there is a possibility of life elsewhere in the universe. So what's up? Searching for the origins of life... and our future BBC News, 7th November 2011 Hollywood is wrong about aliens. They don't have oddly shaped heads, bulging eyes or even an eery green hue. Dimitar Sasselov is pretty convinced of that. He's not even sure we'll know them when we see them. Prof Sasselov, an astrophysicist, thinks that if life exists elsewhere - and he believes it does - it will likely be based on different building blocks than ours, and so may not even be recognisable as life. A project he's heading at Harvard University, called the Origins of Life, is trying to imagine what life would be like if it were based on different chemicals, conditions and history than we have on Earth. There's no reason life can only form under our set of circumstances, he says - or at least that's what he thinks and hopes the project will eventually prove. [...] "One morning we'll wake up with a fundamentally different view of the world and who we are," he says. [...] At Harvard, the Origins team also includes a geneticist, a chemist, a geochemist, an environmental chemist, and a palaeontologist - and that's just the steering committee. Comment: I am suspicious.... Notice the article has a definite message that is given at the beginning, but the rest of the content is badly lacking and I wonder whether it's the media putting a spin on things rather than anything significant going on amongst the scientific community... But, you never know, maybe we have got to the stage where the elite have decided that the current situation of orbs and UAPs flying around in broad daylight has got untenable.... I am interested that we are being told that scientists from different disciplines have decided to talk to each other.. astrobiologists have been complaining for quite a long time about the definition of what we call life... two legged monsters like us humans cannot serve as the only model for defining life. Theology professor asks: Are we alone in the universe? Ventura County Star, 4th November 2011 "The idea that life could exist elsewhere and how it might relate to Christian and Catholic beliefs will be the topic of a free lecture Tuesday at St. John's Seminary in Camarillo. The Rev. Dr. Thomas O'Meara, retired University of Notre Dame theology professor and nationally renown author and speaker, will present his lecture, "Christian Theology and Extraterrestrial Intelligent Life," at 7 p.m. Members of the public are welcome." Hmmm... Royal Society journal archive contains scientific articles about extraterrestrials Open Minds, 2nd November 2011 On October 26, 2011, the Royal Society announced that its journal archive has been made available to the public, free-of-charge. The material that was once restricted to pay-per-view access is now freely accessible online. Approximately 60,000 historical scientific papers make up the free archive, and come from various Royal Society publications. The Royal Society publishes peer-reviewed papers on varying scientific topics, including extraterrestrials and UFOs. According to the Royal Society’s announcement, Professor Uta Frith FRS, Chair of the Royal Society library committee, stated, “The release of these papers opens a fascinating window on the history of scientific progress over the last few centuries and will be of interest to anybody who wants to understand how science has evolved since the days of the Royal Society’s foundation.” The society’s first publication appeared in 1665. Yes, you can read articles from 1665 in the archive. ...be aware that not all of the Royal Society’s content is currently available for free. Only content that was published more than 70 years ago is freely available. Newer content still requires a fee to view. So while you’re certainly welcome to browse writings by Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, and Ben Franklin, you still have to pay for most of the articles about extraterrestrials and UFOs.. Comment: I am sure there must be some interesting information now available that goes well beyond the pseudoscience of the Drake Equation. However, this move must be seen as another step towards some kind of disclosure, but hopefully about Earth's Shadow Biosphere which anyone who knows about Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) and Light Phenomena and who can engage their thinking capacity will realise must represent a completely different lifeform. Earliest forms of life began in Australia Discovery You, 27th October 2011 The findings of a team of Australian and British scientists have broken the current record as the Earth’s oldest known forms of microbial life. They have discovered microscopic fossils, about 3.43 billion years old, in the remote Pilbara region of Western Australia, the Age reported Until the new discovery, the oldest uncontroversial microbial fossils were 3.2 billion years old, as reported last year from South Africa by Emmanuelle Javaux of Belgium’s Liege University. [...] The reason the microfossils had survived the ravages of time was that there was precious little or no free oxygen in the atmosphere 3.4 billion years ago. This was because neither plants nor algae were present at that time to photosynthesise and produce oxygen. ‘‘Our microfossils were sulphur-based, living off and metabolising compounds containing sulphur rather than oxygen for energy and growth,’’ Dr Wacey explained. Comment: This is just for the record, we have scientists telling us that these organisms were metabolising compounds containing sulphur and yet when a scientist says other similar organisms were metabolising arsenic, the scientific community goes bananas.... Surely, this relates to NASA's new search for "weird life"... see archives, Best of the Blog The Search For Extraterrestrial Life Astronomers discover complex organic matter in the universe PhysOrg.com, 26th October 2011 "Prof. Sun Kwok and Dr. Yong Zhang of the University of Hong Kong show that an organic substance commonly found throughout the Universe contains a mixture of aromatic (ring-like) and aliphatic (chain-like) components. The compounds are so complex that their chemical structures resemble those of coal and petroleum. Since coal and oil are remnants of ancient life, this type of organic matter was thought to arise only from living organisms. The team's discovery suggests that complex organic compounds can be synthesized in space even when no life forms are present." The implications are incredible but Sir Fred Hoyle and Chandra Wickramasinghe also realised this back in the 1970s, but very few have been interested. Life is literally manufactured in the stars. We are star dust... Quite franky, to understand our origins, there is a need to integrate this knowledge with the concept of a Plasma Universe. Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe - Star Man Red Orbit, August 18, 2006 "Thirty years ago, Wales-based scientist Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe’s theories on the origins of life divided the scientific community. Now, as he prepares to retire, many of his ideas have become ‘mainstream’. [...] ‘Before my work it was generally thought that these cosmic dust particles were made up of ice particles, similar to the particles in the cumulous clouds of the earth’s atmosphere. ‘My research over the years showed that the dust was largely made of carbon, and, moreover, that the carbon was in the form of substances that could be connected with life. ‘Even more significantly, a component of the cosmic dust could be in the form of freeze-dried dormant bacteria.’ The discovery, he said, was made by ‘process of elimination’. ‘We excluded non-life, inorganic compositions for the dust, and what was left was the only remaining alternative; unbelievable, but still inevitable.’ To many, it remained unbelievable." So why is organic life being manufactured in the stars and spewed all over the universe so unbelievable? Is it a problem with scientists being too brainwashed by religion to accept the facts? What I don't understand is it even says in the Bible that humans are just dust... Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson offers cosmic update Times Free Press, 26th October 2011 Rather than starting with a monologue full of scientific jargon Tuesday evening, noted astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson — the man once named People magazine's "Sexiest Astrophysicist Alive" — began by posting to his Twitter feed. "You can play baseball on the airless Moon, but only if you find a way not to suffocate & if you don't care about curve balls," he tweeted in front of a packed crowd of hundreds. Tyson, a Harvard University alumnus and the director of the Hayden Planetarium in New York, then gave what he called a "cosmic update," discussing advances in space research. Comment: I was highly amused by this article for a variety of reasons, the "Sexiest Astrophysicist Alive" is quite an accolade... Now, this Mr Sexy seems to have some idea of what is going on and we get a major hint because the article states: "But he criticized Hollywood for being unimaginative about what aliens would look like, complaining that movie aliens have similar features to humans." But of course, the most intelligent and educated people on the planet have already worked out what is going on and have decided to keep the details amongst themselves. For anyone who is prepared to do some study, think and integrate, this will soon become quite obvious.
Giant amoebas discovered in deepest sea trench These single-celled organisms can measure up to four inches across MSNBC News, 22nd October 2011 Gigantic amoebas have been found in the Mariana Trench, the deepest region on Earth. During a July 2011 voyage to the Pacific Ocean chasm, researchers with Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego and National Geographic engineers deployed untethered landers, called dropcams, equipped with digital video and lights to explore the largely mysterious region of the deep sea. (You can catch a glimpse of them on the video below.) The team documented the deepest known existence of xenophyophores, single-celled animals exclusively found in deep-sea environments. Xenophyophores are noteworthy for their size, with individual cells often exceeding 4 inches (10 centimeters), their extreme abundance on the seafloor and their role as hosts for a variety of organisms. Comment: I am totally amazed by this. There are some serious issues to consider here. I am not a biologist and this is an area of weakness in my analysis but single-celled organisms that can measure over four inches across! Think about it... this is the deepest trench on the planet (11km below sea level, Mount Everest is 8.8km above sea level), so what kind of pressures are these organisms experiencing? Apparently, these entities are acting as hosts, in plasma physics terminology, this looks more like a plasma "sheath" acting to protect internal organisms from outside influences and only allowing in stuff in that's beneficial... rather like the Earth's ionosphere... Now look at the video, they look exactly like the amoebas floating around in space (you know, the ones that so-called experts call "ice-crystals" and "debris") and the interdimensional 'orbs' that can be detected with digital cameras!!!! Wherever humans look there is life, but for some strange reason, The Powers That Be, want the docile public to believe that space or space-time is "empty" when all the evidence suggest that various forms of life fill the whole universe... That is everywhere... Star Trek: Giant Space Amoeba YouTube, 24th August 2009 "A giant space amoeba sends a painful, high pitched noise running throughout the Enterprise (The Immunity Syndrome)" Hmmm.... I think the Star Trek script writers were highly informed...
Microbes Found Preadapted for Life in Space Daily Galaxy, 13th October 2011 Microbes born on Earth are already pre-adapted for journeying through space, living in space, and not just surviving but flourishing in radioactive environments where they are continually exposed to radiation by ions similar to what might be encountered in a nebular cloud. In 1958, physicists discovered clouds of bacteria, ranging from two million bacteria per cm3 and over 1 billion per quart, thriving in pools of radioactive waste directly exposed to ionizing radiation and radiation levels millions of times greater than could have ever before been experienced on this plane. The world's first artificial nuclear reactor was not even built until 1942. Prior to the 1945, poisonous pools of radioactive waste did not even exist on Earth. And yet, over a dozen different species of microbe have inherited the genes which enable them to survive conditions which for the previous 4.5 billion years could have only been experienced in space. (These radiation-loving microbes include Deinococcus radiodurans, D. proteolyticus, D. radiopugnans, D. radiophilus, D. grandis, D. indicus, D. frigens, D. saxicola, D. marmola, D. geothermalis, D. murrayi). Comment: As the article states, microbes are preadapted for life in space because they came from space in the first place. Hence, I think this article is now telling us that the theories of Panspermia are now no longer a joke and the paradigm shift in the field of astrobiology is now complete. The article is completely logical... wonderful, but of course, the connotations are immense. Weekend Feature: A "Third Realm" --Alien Technology Could Exist That's Beyond Matter Daily Galaxy, 9th October 2011 Much of the current thinking about advanced extraterrestrial life that may be a million to a billion years more advanced that the human species, depicts life forms that have evolved into intelligent AI-powered machines. Even Stephen Hawking has recently asked "Why isn't the Milky Way crawling with intelligent machines." [...] But what if advanced super-intelligent life is no longer matter based? What if they exist at a higher level concept than matter. Are matter and information all there is? asks Paul Davies, physicist and astrobiologist at Arizona State University. Five hundred years ago,he says, the very concept of a computer, a device manipulating information, or software, would have been incomprehensible. Might there still be a higher level he asks as yet outside all human experience that organizes information in the same way that information-processing organizes electrons." Davies envisions an alien technology that: Is not made of matter; has no fixed size or shape; has no well-defined boundaries or topology; is dynamical on all scales of space and time; or, conversely, does not appear to do anything at all that we can discern; does not consist of discrete, separate things; rather, it is a system, a subtle higher-level of things. This alien technology is “nature plus.” [...] Just as quantum weirdness is detected only with special apparatus, so alien technology might go undetected and unsuspected – it may exist in a realm beyond current human capabilities and evolution. A third, or fourth, or fifth realm millions of years evolved beyond the age of Homo sapiens. Comment: Well, what does that sound like to you? It seems that our astrobiologists are slowly creeping towards something a little bit more realistic about what we should expect to see in the Universe. But at the same time, it has dawned on me why astrobiologists emphasised "super-intelligent life" as machines. This is their explanation for the 'saucers', because for a long time, there was a great emphasis on this particular type of sighting and the elite and those in the know were indeed getting a reasonable explanation of what has been seen on this planet... So this makes me think about how these academics can stand up and tell us their truth and people (me included) just don't understand the connotations at all... I am amazed... officially gobsmacked... Update: www.dailygalaxy.com is down..... I wonder why? Here is a copy of this article: link Update 2: Some researchers say that the elite have a 'code of ethics' if that is the right expression, where they have to leave certain sensitive information in plain sight. They can confidently do this because most people are too uneducated and/or too brainwashed to see exactly what is infront of them. Still, I simply cannot believe that I missed the connection between the saucers. Look it says it right in your face here: "Much of the current thinking about advanced extraterrestrial life that may be a million to a billion years more advanced that the human species, depicts life forms that have evolved into intelligent AI-powered machines." Here is a quote that I picked up this week: “If you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.” -- Halton Arp’It's starting to look like my search for truth is more about deprogramming myself. Into the Matrix: Artificial Intelligence, Future Humanity and the UFO Enigma Mysterious Universe, 11th October 2011 In recent years, I have decided it's best to give up on the idea of dimensions because it's a misnomer. We are talking about energy levels and in the past some humans could see UFOs and others standing right next to them could not because some humans could operate at a higher energy level than their peers. However, since there have always been high energy hotspots on this planet, there have always been places where anyone could see UFOs, but since Earth is now becoming a high energy plasma environment, anyone and everyone can see our cosmic neighbours, without too much trouble and they are appearing everywhere including in the middle of major cities. What is really sad about all this is why the metaphysical community failed to explain that this was coming but instead taught crap like the Law of Attraction based on some erroneous interpretations of modern science..... A peek into the chemical soup of life: Last universal common ancestor 'more sophisticated than we thought,' say biologists Daily Mail, 5th October 2011 The chemical soup out of which all life eventually evolved could have been more complex than was first thought, according to a new study. The last universal common ancestor (LUCA) is the name given to a crude organism that is now traceable in all domains of life; plants, animals, fungi, algae, etc. Very little is actually known about this great-grandfather of evolution, and some scientists still debate whether it was even a cell. But a new study has suggested that LUCA was a more sophisticated organism than presumed, with a complex structure that makes it identifiable as a cell. The research, published in the journal Biology Direct, builds on several years of study of a previously overlooked feature of microbial cells. This particular area has a high concentration of polyphosphate, a type of energy currency in cells. [...] The findings suggest that LUCA may have been more complex than the simplest organisms alive today, and it has simplified itself during the evolutionary process instead of growing more complex, as we might expect. 'You can't assume that the whole story of life is just building and assembling things,' said James Whitfield, a professor of entomology at Illinois and a co-author on the study. 'Some have argued that the reason that bacteria are so simple is because they have to live in extreme environments and they have to reproduce extremely quickly. 'So they may actually be reduced versions of what was there originally. 'According to this view, they've become streamlined genetically and structurally from what they originally were like. 'We may have underestimated how complex this common ancestor actually was.' Comment: I think to understand orbs and UAPs, scientists need to understand the origins of life and here we are told that the last universal common ancestor (LUCA) is the name given to a crude organism that is now traceable in all domains of life; plants, animals, fungi, algae, etc. We are told that this organism simplified itself to live in extreme conditions on Earth, so if this organism came from space, in accordance with the theories of Panspermia, then what about other versions that might not have had to simplify themselves? How did they evolve? Scientists Take First Step Towards Creating 'Inorganic Life' Science Daily, 15th September 2011 ScienceDaily (Sep. 15, 2011) — Scientists at the University of Glasgow say they have taken their first tentative steps towards creating 'life' from inorganic chemicals potentially defining the new area of 'inorganic biology'. Professor Lee Cronin, Gardiner Chair of Chemistry in the College of Science and Engineering, and his team have demonstrated a new way of making inorganic-chemical-cells or iCHELLs. Prof Cronin said: "All life on earth is based on organic biology (i.e. carbon in the form of amino acids, nucleotides, and sugars, etc.) but the inorganic world is considered to be inanimate. What we are trying do is create self-replicating, evolving inorganic cells that would essentially be alive. You could call it inorganic biology." Comment: Of course this is not the first step, similar experiments have already taken place and provide the experimental observations and theoretical basis for a plasma based lifeform. Jay Alfred has written some nice articles about this. This is a good extract. Jay Alfred writes: Plasma Life Forms in the LaboratoryThere is some really interesting research that suggests inorganic life could exist in space. National Geographic reported: A recent study suggests that dust in interstellar space can arrange itself into structures that resemble inorganic life-forms.The reason that this claim caused bafflement is that most astrobiologists have too strict a definition for life based on what humans think life should look like. The respected biologist Edward Mayr elaborated on this in his book, The Growth of Biological Thought (1982). To be considered a living organism, he suggested that Life must be or have: # ...an organized pattern: STRUCTURE # ...self-replicating, store and pass on instructions for same: REPRODUCTION # ...the ability to convert energy: METABOLISM # ...the ability to change structure: GROWTH # ...the ability to change into new and different entities: EVOLUTION # ...able to interact with surroundings: IRRITABILITY # ...a certain robustness to changes in the environment: RESILIENCE Source: Defining Life Life-like cells are made of metal New Scientist, 14th September 2011 Could living things that evolved from metals be clunking about somewhere in the universe? Perhaps. In a lab in Glasgow, UK, one man is intent on proving that metal-based life is possible. He has managed to build cell-like bubbles from giant metal-containing molecules and has given them some life-like properties. He now hopes to induce them to evolve into fully inorganic self-replicating entities. "I am 100 per cent positive that we can get evolution to work outside organic biology," says Lee Cronin (see photo, right) at the University of Glasgow. His building blocks are large "polyoxometalates" made of a range of metal atoms – most recently tungsten – linked to oxygen and phosphorus. By simply mixing them in solution, he can get them to self-assemble into cell-like spheres. Comment: Talk about in your face... Now lets think: our universe has been around for billions of years, plenty of time for entities to have evolved from metals.... this has got to be one of the most interesting articles I have read for years... This is a Star Trek moment: Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations Scour Earth for traces of intelligent aliens New Scientist News, 7th September 2011 If smart aliens exist, they may have visited Earth millions of years ago – and left signs of their technological prowess that should be cheap and easy for us to detect. [Extremely poor logic... if they are truely alien, they might have no use for technology... ] So says astrophysicist Paul Davies of Arizona State University in Tempe. Traditionally, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) has focused on listening for deliberate dispatches in radio signals. But in 50 years of searching, this costly approach has drawn a blank. [That's because they have been looking for signs of an 'advanced' technological society, not entities that are truely extraterrestrial. [...] If aliens did come to our cosmic neighbourhood, it was probably hundreds of millions of years ago. Any "footprints" would have to last for eons to be detected by us. That means a manufactured slab of rock in the style of 2001: A Space Odyssey (pictured) would be a poor candidate: it would erode, or at least get buried before we came to notice it. Comment: What do these scientists think the orbs and UAPs are about then? There is a whole Shadow Biosphere of plasma entities on this planet and real attention must be paid to the orbs dancing around in our skies in broad daylight, but these so-called scientists are oblivious! Maybe, scientists are not interested in what they consider to be critters, even if a few can demonstrate high levels of mathematical prowess when creating crop circles... Building Blocks of DNA Found in Meteorites from Space space.com, 8th August 2011 The components of DNA have now been confirmed to exist in extraterrestrial meteorites, researchers announced. A different team of scientists also discovered a number of molecules linked with a vital ancient biological process, adding weight to the idea that the earliest forms of life on Earth may have been made up in part from materials delivered to Earth the planet by from space. Past research had revealed a range of building blocks of life in meteorites, such as the amino acids that make up proteins. Space rocks just like these may have been a vital source of the organic compounds that gave rise to life on Earth. Comment: Slowly, slowly the general public are being provided with the information that life must exist throughout the universe and there is plenty of evidence in the form of ancient rocks. Of course, the Panspermia theorists have know this for decades because some highly educated people had to ability to work this out from the raw evidence but the general public have been mislead by religionistas and the scientific mafia. The probability of life throughout the universe means that other forms of life could have evolved over billions of years differently to life on Earth and this awareness is acutely required as it becomes obvious that a whole ecology or shadow biosphere appears on Earth. Disclosure is inevitable because this planet is already becoming a cosmic aquarium, it's simply getting too difficult to hide the truth when so many people are encountering our cosmic neighbours. Onstott's discovery of worms in Earth's depths raises questions about life in space PhysOrg.com, 12th July 2011 Onstott's research team, which he led with Gaetan Borgonie of the University of Ghent in Belgium, recently made a startling discovery: microscopic roundworms known as nematodes living nearly two-and-a-half miles beneath the Earth's surface in several South African gold mines. The worms are roughly a quarter of the diameter of the head of a pin. Although nematode species have been known to live as far as 20 feet below the surface, scientists generally assumed there was no reason to believe the organisms would be found anywhere near the depths of those found by Onstott's team, he noted. Comment: So, whilst these scientists are worrying about worms, we have bizarre plasma entities arriving from deep space.... The evidence is that life is pervasive throughout the universe, why are these scientists pretending to be so dim? The Ultimate Time Travelers --Microbes Survive Millions of Years Traveling in Space Daily Galaxy, 7th July 2011 In a unique experiment on a galactic scale, millions of bacterial spores have been purposely exposed to space, to see how solar radiation affects them and the results supported the idea that not only could life have arrived on Earth on meteorites, but that considerable material has flowed between planets. Closer to home, scientists have analyzed aerial dust samples collected by Charles Darwin and confirmed that microbes can travel across continents without the need for planes or trains - rather bacteria and fungi hitch-hike by attaching to dust particles. Their results clearly show that diverse microbes, including ascomycetes, and eubacteria can live for centuries and survive intercontinental travel. Comment: Well, I was surprised by this article after the years and years of denial and fighting against the idea of life being abundant in the universe even though the evidence is now overwhelming. Even Nobel Prize winner Francis Crick believed in the theory of Panspermia and proposed his own version that he called Directed Panspermia, yet poor old Chandra Wickramasinghe has had his astrobiology centre shut down to save a few quid... Well, that is the official story, but I suspect it was more to do with the media attention associated with the sensational article in The Journal of Cosmology (JOC), where Wickramasinghe was the editor, revealing, "...evidence of extraterrestrial microfossils of bacteria in meteorites older than Earth has been discovered and no legitimate scientist has been able to disprove the findings", see archives for more details. Oh dear! ‘Life from space’ expert loses funding Sky Mania, 14th March 2011 Extra-terrestrial research goes on Closed astrobiology centre to be reborn as private company Nature News, 17th March 2011 NASA, Science Magazine exposed by Journal of Cosmology PubSub, 27th March 2011 Press Releases from the Journal of Cosmology Feb 14, 2011 Journal of Cosmology To Stop Publishing--Killed by Thieves and Crooks JOC will publish its last edition in May of 2011. The Journal of Cosmology (JOC) was founded in the summer of 2009, published its first edition in October, and immediately became a success. Within one year it was receiving nearly 1 million hits a month and dozens of news articles were appearing regularly about its content--a phenomenal achievement for a scientific journal. Naturally, JOC's success posed a direct threat to traditional subscription based science periodicals, such as "science" magazine; just as online news killed many newspapers. Not surprisingly, JOC was targeted by science magazine and others who engaged in illegal, criminal, anti-competitive acts to prevent JOC from distributing news about its online editions and books. Because JOC's editorial policy was to publish all peer reviewed science-based theory, including articles which directly challenged the "sacred cows" of "conventional wisdom", its success posed a direct threat to the entire scientific establishment and the "gate-keepers" who wish to protect easily disproved myths and crush dissenting views. Suddenly, here was this upstart, highly successful scientific journal, with a prestigious editorial board, which was directly challenging the status quo and their control over science. [...] In conclusion: The Journal of Cosmology has reviewed the evidence, has solicited commentary, we have invited scientific criticism, we have reached out to our competitors who have refused to cooperate because they know the data is real, and therefore, the only logical conclusion is that the Journal of Cosmology and Hoover study are beyond reproach. As reported in the peer reviewed Journal of Cosmology, evidence of extraterrestrial microfossils of bacteria in meteorites older than Earth has been discovered and no legitimate scientist has been able to disprove the findings. The findings are valid. The implications are staggering and the public deserves to know the truth, that life may be everywhere, throughout the cosmos. The Journal of Cosmology has compiled this wealth of data, along with the Hoover paper and commentaries, and the peer reviewed discoveries of numerous independent scientists, in a single inexpensive book, titled: "The Discovery of Alien ExtraTerrestrial life" which features the landmark discovery of Richard Hoover. Based on the evidence compiled in "The Discovery of Alien ExtraTerrestrial life" and the Hoover discovery, the conclusions are threefold: We are not alone. Life is everywhere.Life on Earth, came from other planets. Comment: Wow... going out with a bang... I did not know that the evidence of extraterrestrial microfossils of bacteria were older than the Earth. I think the book should be worth reading... News Flash -NASA Scientist: "Solid Evidence of ET Fossil Life in Meteorite Fragment" Daily Galaxy, 7th March 2011 An award-winning NASA scientist, Richard B. Hoover, Astrobiology Group Leader at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, claims that he found tiny fossils of alien life in the remnants of a meteorite has stirred both excitement and skepticism in the world astrobiology community, and is being closely reviewed by 100 experts. Hoover claims to have found fossilized bacteria that appear similar to bacteria found on earth - like Titanospirillum velox, below from meteorites known as CI1 carbonaceous chondrites – of which only nine are known to exist on earth. [...] Hoover is the author or editor of 33 books and some 250 papers on astrobiology, extremophiles, diatoms, solar physics, X-ray/EUV optics and meteorites. He co-directed the NATO Advanced Study Institute on Astrobiology in Crete, for which he published the book "Perspectives in Astrobiology" in 2005. Hoover's paper, along with pictures of the microscopic earthworm-like creatures, were published late Friday in the peer-reviewed Journal of Cosmology, which is available free online. Hoover sliced open fragments of several types of carbonaceous chondrite meteorites, which can contain relatively high levels of water and organic materials, and looked inside with a powerful microscope. Comment: This story is getting a lot of press.... What's interesting is that this scientist has good credentials and he has decided to reveal what he thinks, despite the current paradigm of out-dated beliefs that the only life to develop in the whole universe is on little old Earth... So now astronomers estimate 100 billion - trillion galaxies, 300 sextillion stars and certainly lots more planets than that, but most are still desperate to maintain our loneliness in a vast cosmic sea, when we are probably just a grain of sand on a vast beach. Recently, I have been thinking that NASA and friends are on some sort of 'soft disclosure' program, but I wonder if it's just not going too well. Btw, over at WUWT, a few of the more intelligent and educated thinkers have started to be concerned about WHY there are so many similar media stories on this subject. Skeptical science: meteorite aliens bring out the armchair experts Oh, it's a relief to come across real thinkers... Scientists Dubious Over Claim of Alien Life Evidence in Meteorite space.com, 7th March 2011 The building blocks for life are ubiquitous all over the universe as far as we can tell, but apparently, we are still supposed to believe that life only developed on Earth.... it's so ridiculous, it really is... NASA says 'no support' for claim of alien microbes Yahoo News, 7th March 2011 WASHINGTON (AFP) – Top NASA scientists said Monday there was no scientific evidence to support a colleague's claim that fossils of alien microbes born in outer space had been found in meteorites on Earth. The US space agency formally distanced itself from the paper by NASA scientist Richard Hoover, whose findings were published Friday in the peer-reviewed Journal of Cosmology, which is available free online. [...] "The simplest explanation is that there are microbes in the meteorites; they are Earth microbes. In other words, they are contamination."
NASA Administrator Believes in Alien Life WLTX, 7th February 2011 Columbia, SC (WLTX) - It's a question man has been asking for centuries: are we alone and could there really be life out there somewhere. For some the answer is easy. They believe NASA knows that alien life exist and that we're being visited on a regular basis. Clifford Clift is one such believer. "Maybe the powers that be are setting us up for disclosure, making it more subtle so it won't be a big jolt to us," he says. [...] After talking with Charles Bolden, he seems it's not a matter of if we find out, it's a matter of when. Bolden said, "I have no doubt about things that will be discovered in the next year or so that will help us rewrite text books." Comment: Well, Bolden certainly knows how to let the cat out of the bag.... if this report is true, then we can forget about a new discovery, the evidence has been in plain sight for many decades, infact since the invention of radar... Well, if Bolden is prepared to make this statement, it makes you wonder why there is such effort by some to desperately fight the notion that humans are not alone. Please note: the astronaut talk is about alien LIFE NOT alien CRAFT. So, I might be on my own here, but I believe any anouncement will be about a Shadow Biosphere, which is the sensible thing for NASA to do, as the dimensional shift is clearly still accelerating.
WA meteorite excites scientists TheWest.com.au, 22nd January 2011 A unique meteorite that smashed into the West Australian outback last year is exciting the scientific world. The ancient rock has an unusual composition and is being studied by scientists around the globe. Now in the Natural History Museum in London, the meteorite is undergoing preliminary analysis and will be returned to the WA Museum when those tests are complete. Curtin University department of applied geology Adjunct Professor Phil Bland said the meteorite, which is roughly the size of a tennis ball, could reveal vital clues to the origins of the universe. Not only is its chemistry proving intriguing but scientists were able to track its fall to earth to determine where in the solar system it came from. There have been more than 50,000 documented meteorite falls over the past 200 years but scientists know the origins of just 10, highlighting the importance of the latest find. [...] "Locating where they come from is important, because it enables scientists to link geological information to the correct location in space," he said. "We've only really just started analysing (this latest meteorite). We've got a very precise orbit for it, so we're currently looking through the asteroid database to see if there's anything out there that matches it - that could have been the source for our rock. But in terms of composition, it does look kind of interesting." Professor Bland said the meteorite tracking project could provide some fundamental insights into how the solar system and rocky terrestrial planets formed. Comment: I wonder of this will upset American researchers who have recently been denied fireball data from US military satellites? Presumably, the issue is that the military don't want people to know just how many incoming objects are hitting the planet and I now presume that is because our solar system surrounded by the Oort cloud of rocky debris has just hit G Cloud, hence the arrival of more fireballs, comets and asteroids. Brit Scientists Going Nuts UFO Mystic, 11th January 2011 I’m still not sure if this is an elaborate joke of some kind or not, but the forthcoming issue of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society appears to be a collection of speculative papers on the social, scientific, and (yes) philosophical implications of extraterrestrial life. Here’s the abstract from the opening paper in the issue, entitled The Detection of Extra-terrestrial Life and the Consequences for Science and Society by Martin Dominik and John C. Zarnecki: Astronomers are now able to detect planets orbiting stars other than the Sun where life may exist, and living generations could see the signatures of extra-terrestrial life being detected. Should it turn out that we are not alone in the Universe, it will fundamentally affect how humanity understands itself—and we need to be prepared for the consequences. A Discussion Meeting held at the Royal Society in London, 6–9 Carlton House Terrace, on 25–26 January 2010, addressed not only the scientific but also the societal agenda, with presentations covering a large diversity of topics. Comment: Well, I quite liked the headline... It is obvious that the widespread appearance of the orange balls of light (OBOLs) and the rest of the UAP spectrum representing another lifeform, that must be considered as part of Earth's Shadow Biosphere, is now being discussed in earnest. The Royal Society has no choice, as huge balls of light, some the size of houses are now running amok in even the most genteel parts of the UK and around the world. If you want to watch video after video of UAP sightings or read about the latest sightings, I can recommend the following: Earth must prepare for close encounter with aliens, say scientists UN should co-ordinate plans for dealing with extraterrestrials – and we can't guarantee that aliens will be friendly The Guardian, 10th January 2011 World governments should prepare a co-ordinated action plan in case Earth is contacted by aliens, according to scientists. Scientists argue that a branch of the UN must be given responsibility for "supra-Earth affairs" and formulate a plan for how to deal with extraterrestrials, should they appear. The comments are part of an extraterrestrial-themed edition of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A published today. In it, scientists examine all aspects of the search for extraterrestrial life, from astronomy and biology to the political and religious fallout that would result from alien contact. Comment: Of course we have to have the stupid alien picture... Sigh... Again, the content of this article is poor, but the headline gives the message "prepare for close encounter with aliens" and we are seeing these same messages over and over again in the media. The discussion of world religions and the existence of ETs smacked of opportunitism, which I though was quite distasteful. More below:NASA Antarctica Discovery Might Foreshadow Potential Extraterrestrial Life Forms Daily Galaxy, 7th January 2011 A 2009 discovery at the bottom of the world could have implications on the search for extraterrestrial life. NASA researchers were astounded to find an amphipod swimming beneath a massive Ross Ice Shelf, about 12.5 miles away from open water. NASA scientists were using a borehole camera to look back up towards the ice surface when they spotted this pinkish-orange creature swimming 600 feet below the ice, where the NASA team expected to find no higher life form than some microbes. Comment: Well, it seems NASA are undeterred by the arsenic bacteria fiasco... The program to continue conditioning the general public to the idea of extraterrestrial life forms on Earth continues... Study: Be Wary of Space Visitors CBS News, 10th January 2011 Comment: This is just pathetic. Why would intelligent ETs be resource hungry, when they could just tap the aether (zero point field, vaccuum, spacetime) for free energy? If there was not a need for world controllers to control control control, we would be already doing this.. Why are the media dragging down ETs to our low standards? How do We Search for Quantum-Based ETs? (A 2010 Most Popular) Daily Galaxy, 30th December 2010 On a recent Discovery program on the Universe, Stephen Hawking voiced concern about the dangers, he believes, are posed by aliens who may arrive some day on Earth: "To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational. The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like..." Life as we know it is based on chemistry but what, asks Randy D. Allen of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Oklahoma State University, if life elsewhere is based, not on chemistry but on quantum mechanics? An alien life form that can manipulate subatomic particles like our cells manipulate chemical compounds. Humans have existed as a species for less than a million years and we are, as far as we know, the only species on Earth that has even the vaguest notion of physics. We only discovered the atom and learned to unleash its power, Allen observes, within the last century: [...] It is conceivable that, in the billions of years since the Big Bang, other organisms evolved at some time and some place that have already mastered quantum mechanics. [...] We can project that with no need to compete for resources, quantum beings would most likely be peaceful and only want the best for the Universe and its inhabitants. They could be aware of our existence, Allen says, but don’t care about us, much as we ignore most of the “lower” organisms that surround us. Alternatively, perhaps they have noted our biological, social and technological evolution and realize that we humans may well join their ranks someday and become quantum beings ourselves. Comment: I excited to discover there are academics that are thinking along these lines. This does seem far more rational than other rather more speculative ideas that ignore the fact that the quantum realm is the fundamental property of the Universe. On a more topical note, if this is a government agent trying to deliver a new message to the general public, then I approve! Life's Building Blocks Found on Surprising Meteorite Space.com, 16th December 2010 Scientists have discovered amino acids, the building blocks of life in a meteorite where none were expected. The finding adds evidence to the idea that some of life's key ingredients could have formed in space, and then been delivered to Earth long ago by meteorite impacts. The meteorite in question was born in a violent crash, and eventually crashed into northern Sudan. [...] Amino acids are the molecules used to build the proteins that are essential to life. "Finding them in this type of meteorite suggests that there is more than one way to make amino acids in space, which increases the chance for finding life elsewhere in the universe," Glavin said in a statement. The proteins created from amino acids are used in everything from structures like hair to enzymes, the catalysts that speed up or regulate chemical reactions. Just as the 26 letters of the alphabet are arranged in limitless combinations to make words, life uses 20 different amino acids in a huge variety of arrangements to build millions of different proteins. Comment: Well, the current scientific deadlock on this matter seems to be easing. Instead of the complete refusal to countenance the idea of the ingredients for life coming from outer space, encapsulated by the theory of Panspermia and it's various versions, all of a sudden, scientists are all smiles. So, after the previous negativity in previous decades, we have to ask, why the sudden change now? It's not about new evidence, because scientists have been seeing these amino acids and even fossils in meteorites, but the scientific hierarchy refused to accept the evidence. (See Panspermia articles on the 1969 Murchison meteorite that fell in Victoria, Australia.) Well, it is my opinion that a paradigm shift is underway for very good reason, see previous comments. Yet, we have to consider that the origins of life are still not well understood, and we read. "The question of how life originated is still a matter of much speculation. The leap from an assembly of amino acids to proteins to prokaryotes is huge and not yet understood."As scientists are pointing out, we have been tricked into thinking that Darwinism applies to the process of all evolution on Earth, but scientists now think this can only be considered AFTER the so-called tree of life got started. In the very beginning of the very earliest life, we find a completely different world, the realm of The Universal Ancestors. Nasa dismisses criticism of 'arsenic bacteria' research The space agency has refused to respond to sharp criticism of research published last week that appeared to show bacteria could incorporate arsenic into their DNA The Guardian, 7th December 2010 Tuesday 7 December, 7.28pm: Nasa TV is showing a follow-up press conference addressing concerns about the research. 5.38pm: Yesterday, Carl Zimmer at Slate contacted a dozen scientists with expertise in this field. He blogs his findings today. "Almost unanimously, they think the NASA scientists have failed to make their case. 'It would be really cool if such a bug existed,' said San Diego State University's Forest Rohwer, a microbiologist who looks for new species of bacteria and viruses in coral reefs. But, he added, 'none of the arguments are very convincing on their own.' That was about as positive as the critics could get. 'This paper should not have been published,' said Shelley Copley of the University of Colorado."There were relatively straightforward ways they could have avoided contamination of their samples, said Zimmer's contacts: "When the Nasa scientists took the DNA out of the bacteria, for example, they ought to have taken extra steps to wash away any other kinds of molecules. Without these precautions, arsenic could have simply glommed to the DNA, like gum on a shoe. 'It is pretty trivial to do a much better job,' said Rohwer."[...] He neatly sums up Nasa's media-baiting press release and the subsequent disappointment of science writers and journalists: "We thought we were getting cupcakes. Some of us wanted cupcakes. Who doesn't want cupcakes? Now everybody's got humble pie in front of them, quite a bit to eat yet, and no dessert on the menu."Comment: Hmmm... "media-baiting press release..." This seems to be a blog of the infighting between scientists about this research. Quite frankly, as I made quite clear, NASA bosses have used this research to send out the message that there may be other lifeforms that exist around us, and they don't seem to be too worried about how bad the science is. 'Needs must' as they say. Anyway, our reality is rapidly morphing and soon, it's going to be like living in a cosmic aquarium. Whatever you may think, NASA and world controllers have no choice but to try and condition the populace for some sort of disclosure. For the moment, I think the announcement of plasma entities that come from a Shadow Bisophere is good enough, but we will see what happens. Please note: we are getting snippets of info in the mainstream media that this 'conditioning' is already happening in other countries, which I am faithfully blogging, when I find them. "This Paper Should Not Have Been Published" Scientists see fatal flaws in the NASA study of arsenic-based life. Slate News, 7th December 2010 "While Redfield considers Wolfe-Simon's research "flim-flam," she think it's fine for the NASA scientists to hold off responding to their critics. She is working on a formal letter to Science detailing her objections. But Jonathan Eisen of UC-Davis doesn't let the scientists off so easily. "If they say they will not address the responses except in journals, that is absurd," he said. "They carried out science by press release and press conference. Whether they were right or not in their claims, they are now hypocritical if they say that the only response should be in the scientific literature." "flim-flam" science! Update Arsenic about face NASA's arsenic debacle tells us a lot about what's wrong about the relationship between science, peer review and the media in the 21st century. The Guardian (Blog), 8th December 2010 "I've been following NASA's arsenic-munching microbe story for several days now, biding my time while the storm played out." This paper is now available for registeres users, see A Bacterium That Can Grow by Using Arsenic Instead of Phosphorus & also for download as a.pdf link "Limits of Organic Life": NASA to Search for 'Weird' Non-Carbon-Based Life Daily Galaxy, 3rd December 2010 Yesterday's announcement by NASA of the discovery of the possibility of arsenic-based life in Mono Lake fits hand-in-glove with NASA's strategy to expand the search for life beyond Earth to extreme non-carbon-based life. [...] The discovery over the past decade of extreme life forms thriving on Earth at the super-heated walls of Ocean volcanic vents and in the interior regions of the planet's crust, led to a seminal 2009 report, The Limits of Organic Life in Planetary Systems, by the National Research Council (NRC). The NASA sponsored report recommended that the search for beyond Earth’s solar system should be widened throughout the universe to include the possibility of “weird” life. "Nothing," the report concludes, "would be more tragic in the American exploration of space than to encounter alien life and fail to recognize it.” Earth did not accumulate oxygen during the first roughly 3 billion years, or form an ozone layer until about 1.5 billion years ago. There is considerable emphasis on looking for contemporary Earth atmospheres that have oxygen and an ozone layer, but, the report hits home, we should also be using models with different anaerobic microbial non-carbon ecosystems, atmospheres that might parallel the different stages in the evolution of Earth's atmospheres over 4 billion years, and conditions that could indicate the presence of a tectonically active planet. Comment: If you have been reading my blog and have understood what is happening to our world, then NASA's announcement and clarifications that they are now actively looking for weird life should be completely understandable. Now, there can be no doubt that NASA knows that we are experiencing a dimensional shift and they are taking major responsibility in the education process of the general public. It's also very interesting that they are emphasising the conditions for early life on this planet, that is a BIG clue. NASA finding challenges 'life as we know it' Seattle Times, 2nd December 2010 [...] But the discovery opens the door to that possibility, and to the related existence of a theorized "shadow biosphere" on Earth — life evolved from a different common ancestor than all we've known. "These bugs haven't just replaced one useful element with another; they have the arsenic in the basic building blocks of their makeup," she said. "We don't know if the arsenic replaced phosphorus or if it was there from the very beginning — in which case it would strongly suggest the existence of a shadow biosphere." [...] Theoretical physicist and cosmologist Paul Davies, director of the Beyond Center at Arizona State University and a prolific writer, is a co-author on paper. He had been thinking about the idea for a decade, and had written a paper in 2005. So had University of Colorado, Boulder philosopher and astrobiologist Carol Cleland. Both asked why nobody was looking for life with different origins on Earth, and Cleland coined the phrase "shadow biosphere" At a Beyond Center conference four years ago, Wolfe-Simon, then in her late-20s, proposed a way to search for a possible "shadow biosphere" , and it involved Mono Lake and its arsenic. "We were kicking vague ideas around, but she had a very specific proposal and then went out and executed it," Davies said. "It defies logic to think she found the only example of this kind of unusual life. Quite clearly, this is the tip of a huge iceberg." "Shadow biosphere" Chemist Steven Benner of the Foundation for Applied Molecular Evolution in Florida has been involved in "shadow biosphere" research for several years, and will speak at the NASA unveiling of Wolfe-Simon's work. Comment: I am thrilled to see the the US media are now referring to a "Shadow Biosphere". I have been using this exact same term since January 2010 when I found out that Professor Paul Davies stated in his widely publicised lecture that was broadcast live over the internet, that there was a search for a "shadow biosphere" on Earth, but he failed to provide any details. In my review of this lecture for this blog, I lamented the fact that UAPs were not even being considered and this prompted me to contact an extremely prominent member of the Royal Society, to point out that this phenomena was a cause for concern in the UK and could not be ignored. Now it looks like many governments, ex senior military personnel, scientists and the media have started to send out a clear message. See the archives, Best of the blog Search For Extraterrestrial life More Background Info Could the Mono Lake arsenic prove there is a shadow biosphere? Do alien life forms exist in a Californian lake? Could there be a shadow biosphere? One scientist is trying to find out The Times, 4th March December 2010 [...] But she hopes that her research may help scientists to reconsider what alien or “weird” life might look like: “It may prove that there are other possibilities that are beyond our imagination. It opens the door for us to think about biology in ways we have never thought. We are going to look for life on other planets and we only know to look for that which we know. This may help us to develop tools to look for something we have never seen.” Just to reinforce the point that this idea is being promoted by the most respected mainstream media both sides of the Atlantic. NASA-Funded Research Discovers Life Built With Toxic Chemical NASA News, 2nd December 2010 NASA-funded astrobiology research has changed the fundamental knowledge about what comprises all known life on Earth. Researchers conducting tests in the harsh environment of Mono Lake in California have discovered the first known microorganism on Earth able to thrive and reproduce using the toxic chemical arsenic. The microorganism substitutes arsenic for phosphorus in its cell components. "The definition of life has just expanded," said Ed Weiler, NASA's associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate at the agency's Headquarters in Washington. "As we pursue our efforts to seek signs of life in the solar system, we have to think more broadly, more diversely and consider life as we do not know it." [...] "We know that some microbes can breathe arsenic, but what we've found is a microbe doing something new -- building parts of itself out of arsenic," said Felisa Wolfe-Simon, a NASA Astrobiology Research Fellow in residence at the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, Calif., and the research team's lead scientist. "If something here on Earth can do something so unexpected, what else can life do that we haven't seen yet?" [...] "The idea of alternative biochemistries for life is common in science fiction," said Carl Pilcher, director of the NASA Astrobiology Institute at the agency's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif. "Until now a life form using arsenic as a building block was only theoretical, but now we know such life exists in Mono Lake." Comment: At the moment, it seems that this news leaked into the media at least 1-3 hours before the press conference. Anyway, NASA astrobiologists have in effect admitted that they have been DEAD WRONG about what they think are the basic requirements for life. Therefore, we have to take into account all the previous announcements in the last few months encouraging people to think about the existence of life elsewhere in the Universe and now we are being told that there is something existing right here on Earth that we traditionally think of as 'alien'. So, as quickly as possible, scientists and the media are changing the public perception of what can be called 'alien life' and that is because there is a tremendous need. Personally, I have been pointing out the existence of "plasma entities" since September 2006, when my book was published, but my research in the last few years have lead me to the conclusion that we are now seeing the promised Apocalypse, "dimensional shift" or "lifting of the veil" and there is nothing anyone can do but to accept the situation. Now, scientists can use the excuse that there is a new way at looking at the definition for 'life' to exist and so maybe we should expect more announcements about strange 'alien' life on Earth in the near future. Epic Discovery: NASA Finds New Non-DNA Based Life Form Daily Galaxy, 2nd December 2010 Hours before their special news conference today, the cat is out of the bag: NASA has discovered a completely new life form that doesn't share the biological building blocks of anything currently living on Earth in the ancient 800,000 year-old poisinous, arsenic waters of Mono Lake in California. This changes everything in the astrobiology of the Milky Way and beyond: The universe suddenly becomes alive with potential life forms in the trillions of possible planets in galaxies known and unknown. At their conference today, NASA scientist Felisa Wolfe Simon will announce that they have found a bacteria whose DNA is completely alien to what we know today. Instead of using phosphorus, the bacteria uses arsenic. All life on Earth is made of six components: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur. Every being, from the smallest amoeba to the largest whale, share the same life stream. Human DNA building blocks are universal on Earth. This alien bacteria appears to be completely different. Discovered in Mono Lake, this bacteria is made of arsenic, something that was thought to be completely impossible. Subsisting on Arsenic, a Microbe May Redefine Life New York Times, 2nd December 2010 It's not an arsenic-based life form Science Blogs, 2nd December 2010 "Oh, great. I get to be the wet blanket." The explanation is that NASA WANTS the speculation for various reasons like self-publicity but also so that the media can insert new ideas into mass consciousness, like the nice example of the UK Telegraph as listed below, that mentioned the possible existence of a Shadow Biosphere. Update 4th December The Weekend Debate: NASA's Mono Lake Discovery -What are Its Implications? Daily Galaxy, 3rd December 2010 "This story is not about Mono Lake or arsenic, said Felisa Wolfe-Simon, a NASA astrobiology fellow at the United States Geological Survey pictured above, but about “cracking open the door and finding that what we think are fixed constants of life are not.” The above sentence summarises exactly what I have been saying! 'Life as we don't know it' discovery could prove existence of aliens NASA has sent the internet into a frenzy after it announced an "astrobiology finding" that could suggest alien life exists – even on earth. The Telegraph, 1st December 2010 The discovery could prove the theory of "shadow" creatures which exist in tandem with our own and in hostile environments previously thought uninhabitable. The "life as we don't know it" could even survive on hostile planets and develop into intelligent creatures such as humans if and when conditions improve. In a press conference scheduled for tomorrow evening, researchers will unveil the discovery of a microbe that can live in an environment previously thought too poisonous for any life-form to survive. [...] Dr Lewis Dartnell, an astrobiologist at the Centre for Planetary Sciences in London, said: "If these organisms use arsenic in their metabolism, it demonstrates that there are other forms of life to those we knew of. "They're aliens, but aliens that share the same home as us." The space agency will announce the full extent of the findings at a press conference titled “astrobiology finding which will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life”. They believe the creature proves the existence of a second form of life that exists in tandem and before and after intelligent life blooms on planets across the universe. Comment: We are not alone! Hopefully, tomorrow, NASA is going to make a BIG announcement about an example of a creature that exists as part of a "shadow biosphere", exactly what I have been claiming is now swarming our skies in the form of magnetic plasmoids, balls of light, Light Phenomena, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena etc. Some of these entities are reported as UFOs, but look similar to carbon based creatures, others do not look like anything we can recognise. It does not matter, it's the principle that matters and hopefully this will help move humanity forward from the current morass of ignorance. Big News: We are not alone! Commentary: alien life could exist under our noses The discovery of a bacteria that can exist in extreme environments adds weight to a new theory championed by the British cosmologist Professor Paul Davies. The Telegraph, 1st December 2010 If it is possible to find life on other Earth-like planets, then "weird" or "shadow" life might already exist on Earth, Professor Davies added. "Life as we know it appears to have had a single common ancestor, yet, could life on Earth have started many times? "Might it exist on Earth today in extreme environments and remain undetected because our techniques are customised to the biochemistry of known life?" The concept of a shadow biosphere, according to Professor Davies, "is still just a theory". "If someone discovers shadow life or weird life it will be the biggest sensation in biology since Darwin," he added. Almost half of all Britons believe in aliens The Telegraph, 30th November 2010 Nearly half of Britons believe in aliens, research has found. A poll of 2,000 adults concluded that 44 per cent were convinced of the existence of extra-terrestrial life. Men were more likely to believe with 46 per cent answering the survey saying humans are not alone. The survey was commissioned by the Royal Society, the country's most prestigious scientific body. Comment: This is interesting... especially after everything that I have been trying to point out in the last few years! Why are the RS even doing the survey? Well, if you have not noticed, there is a slight problem with the planet being overrun by another life form! We have magnetic plasmoids or balls of light, Light Phenomena or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena swarming the skies in the UK, that ordinary folk call UFOs! I can't agree with the dear professor Simon Conway Morris who doesn't seem to have much of an imagination, when you consider that scientists agree there are over 100 billion - trilion galaxies in the universe, but he is trying to tell us that universal intelligence is highly constrained by the same lack of imagination and can't utilise the properties of plasma, even though it makes up 99.999% of the visible universe and has highly diverse traits, based on composition and the application of electric and magnetic fields. Morris thinks that by telling us that he is conservative, means he is worth listening too, but like so many, he can't even see another life form that is right under our noses, just as Lord Martin Rees, the Queen's astronomer has pointed out 'may' exist, and that's because he knows the truth. See previous comments for more details. NASA Sets News Conference on Astrobiology Discovery NASA News, 29th November 2010 WASHINGTON -- NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe. The news conference will be held at the NASA Headquarters auditorium at 300 E St. SW, in Washington. It will be broadcast live on NASA Television and streamed on the agency's website at http://www.nasa.gov. Comment: Another big fanfare announcement from NASA, but will it amount to anything useful to know? Update! Has NASA found life near Saturn? The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 30th November 2010 Titan: Nasa scientists discover evidence 'that alien life exists on Saturn's moon' The _Telegraph, 5th June 2010 flashback! Evidence that life exists on Titan, one of Saturn’s biggest moons, appears to have been uncovered by Nasa scientists. Researchers at the space agency believe they have discovered vital clues that appeared to indicate that primitive aliens could be living on the moon. Data from Nasa's Cassini probe has analysed the complex chemistry on the surface of Titan, which experts say is the only moon around the planet to have a dense atmosphere. They suggest that life forms may have been breathing in the planet’s atmosphere and also feeding on its surface’s fuel. Comment: It looks like journalists have worked out what the big fanfare NASA annoucement will be, by checking out the recent research of the scientists who are taking part. Well, I actually think this is good timing, because the implications for the existence of another form of life that is not carbon based is absolutely enormous! It will mean that instead of Earth being the only place in the Universe that has generated life, the possibility of other lifeforms occuring throughout the 100 billion - trillion galaxies of our universe are much much greater! Extreme Species Living Without Oxygen Point to Possible ET Lifeforms Daily Galaxy, 16th November 2010 A recently identified species, a loriciferan of the genus Spinoloricus, discovered early this summer by Roberto Danovaro at the Polytechnic University of Marche in Ancona, Italy inhabiting an anoxic, or oxygen-free environment, loaded with toxic levels of sulfides. Electron microscopy revealed the three new species of loriciferans, resembling jellyfish sprouting from a conical shell, that lack mitochondria, the energy-making organelles or components in our cells that allow us to generate energy from oxygen among other functions. Instead, they possess large numbers of organelles resembling hydrogenosomes — anaerobic forms of mitochondria — that were previously seen in single-celled organisms inhabiting zero-oxygen environments. Comment: Scientists are getting closer and closer to understanding how another lifeform can exist in hostile environments, without oxygen, but can look very similar to the familiar jelly-fish that lives in the sea. This is important to understand in order to explain the many recent sightings in the sky of jelly-fish UFOs with "tentacles of light", see archives. Yet, this is at the same time that atmospheric scientists are concerned about a "zoo" of electrical entities in Earth's upper atmosphere, which presumably is an alternative expression for the discovery of the highly electrical Transient Luminous Events that look extremely life-like and can take on forms that we can recognise like squid and jelly-fish, but they only last thousandths of a second. However the appearance of long lasting light phenomena means that somehow, nature has created a lifeform that has characteristics that seem to merge between what we believe is 'living' and what we believe is pure electrical energy. Therefore, we must conclude that Mother Nature is far more creative than we can imagine. Royal Society “on extra-terrestrial life,” after the conference … Dateline Zero, 11th October 2010 News of the Royal Society’s conference titled “Towards a scientific and societal agenda on extra-terrestrial life” has been at a very slow trickle. I thought that there would be more media interest in this conference, partly because it is the 2nd one with an extraterrestrial theme this year. More than that, I thought it would gain a bit more media interest because the UN’s Mazlan Othman was going to be there. [...] There is, thankfully, one great article written by someone who was there. The article was posted at the website of the Exopolitics Institute, was written by Joanne Summerscales, and is titled “Report on Royal Society Conference on Extra-Terrestrial Life.” Honestly, this lengthy, detailed, and well-written article is better than anything that would have appeared in The Telegraph, NY Times, or any other mainstream news outlet. Bravo, Joanne Summerscales, for a job well done! Comment: Nice little article summing up the fact that SETI is an old boy's club that has zero interest in finding real ETs and ignores the huge amount of evidence that points to an alternative life form on Earth, but pleads for public cash to fund new bigger and more powerful telescopes. Quite frankly, with the dimensional shift getting more amd more acute, at some point in the future, these SETI scientists are going to have to deal with the wrath of the general public.Astronomers Worldwide Forge New Rules for ET Engagement AOL News, 8th October 2010 I can't say for sure, but lately there's been a lot of news that, if looked at collectively, could be interpreted as pointing in that direction. It seems as if everyone from the Vatican to the military to scientists conducting the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, or SETI, are getting on the ET bandwagon. [...] For decades, SETI scientists, using radio and optical telescopes, have searched the heavens for proof that we're not alone in the universe. In the new SETI guidelines, the protocol for confirmation of an alien intelligence is clearly laid out: "If the verification process confirms -- by the consensus of the other investigators involved and to a degree of certainty judged by the discoverers to be credible -- that a signal or other evidence is due to extraterrestrial intelligence, the discoverer shall report this conclusion in a full and complete, open manner to the public, the scientific community and the secretary-general of the United Nations." [...] And this week, British researchers hope to find alien life forms closer to home, in Earth's upper atmosphere, a prospect Tarter finds intriguing. "There could be, in fact, another shadow biosphere on Earth where there's a different form of metabolism that might not use DNA, or might use different bio-solvents -- it's actually not completely out of the question." Tarter suggests that life might even be found in non-Earthlike habitable zones, in places where "extremophile" organisms may thrive -- life forms that may actually require hazardous conditions. Comment: To say I am thrilled that astronomers are talking about a shadow biosphere on Earth is to put it mildly. Of course these SETI scientists know the truth, but the general public does not, so we are seeing an increasingly frantic effort to warn the public with a continuous drip drip of useful information. This is mainstream news folks and it's getting very interesting... Mission to search for alien life in outer atmosphere Life from outer space could be surviving on the outer fringes of the Earth's atmosphere, according to scientists who are to launch a mission to search for bacteria that could be living there. The Telegraph, 2nd October 2010 In science fiction films the search for aliens involves travelling across the galaxy to planets millions of miles away. But scientists believe they could be close to discovering alien life forms much closer to home – on the outer fringes of Earth's atmosphere. [...] "If we find microorganisms up there, there are a number of ways it could have arrived. It could have come from space itself, or it could be from our own volcanoes that have projected material up there." [...] Some astrobiologists believe that the seeds for life on Earth actually began elsewhere in the galaxy and microbes were carried here on an icy asteroid or comet that collided with our planet. Comment: This is an old idea and typical of the duplication of results that typifies modern science. However, this report is helpful and very relevant as the media continue to make an effort in providing the general public with plenty of information concerning the possible existence of extraterrestrial life in our atmosphere. Alien life certain to exist on Earth-like planet, scientists say The chances of alien life existing on a newly-discovered Earth-like planet are 100 per cent, an astronomer has claimed. The Telegraph, 30th September 2010 Gliese 581g was discovered orbiting a nearby star at a distance that places it squarely in the "habitable zone" where liquid could exist on its surface. Of around 500 planets that astronomers have found outside Earth's solar system, this is the first to be considered habitable. The planet is a similar size to Earth and its mass indicates that it is probably rocky with a definite surface and has enough gravity to hold an atmosphere, according to Prof Steven Vogt, who led the team that discovered it. [...] It is as yet unknown whether water does exist on the planet or what kind of atmosphere it has. But because conditions are ideal for liquid, which is always a precursor for life on Earth, Prof Vogt believes that life will undoubtedly have begun there. Comment: The saying is: extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof... He might be right, but there is no conclusive evidence presented here. However, we can say there does seem to be a big effort in the media to wake up the sheeple to the possibility of life beyond our planet. The Royal Academy to discuss “extra-terrestrial life and the UN agenda” Dateline Zero, 29th September 2010 The UN’s Mazlan Othman says she’ll be attending the conference at The Royal Society of London for the Improvement of Natural Knowledge (aka “The Royal Society“) next week. She has said that she’ll be talking about how the world deals with “near-Earth objects.” Mazlan Othman, is the Malaysian astrophysicist who heads the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). She has also denied rumors that she’ll be appointed the UN’s Earth Ambassador to extraterrestrials. Discussing “near-Earth objects” sounds like an important issue. After all, an asteroid was recently detected that will pass “dangerously close” to the Earth in mid-October. But one look at The Royal Society’s website reveals that the topic of the conference isn’t “near-Earth objects.” Rather, the title of the conference is: “Towards a scientific and societal agenda on extra-terrestrial life.” More interesting: Othman is going to join other panelists at The Royal Society to discuss first (official) contact, and what role the UN should play, among other related issues. Comment: Hmmm... Come on people! There is a MASSIVE problem in the UK with bright and fiery orbs flying around!!!!!!!! I am glad that TPTB are being forced to do something... Meanwhile, virtually complete silence from the metaphysical community... The 'Evolutionary Leaders' don't seem to have much to say... Mystery of India's "Red Rain" of 2001 Points to Extraterrestrial Origin Daily Galaxy, 1st September 2010 New evidence has been discovered that reinforces the panspermia thoery that the red rain which fell in India in 2001, contained cells unlike any found on Earth. Panspermia is the idea championed by physicist Fred Hoyle that life exists throughout the universe in comets, asteroids and interstellar dust clouds and that life of Earth was seeded from one or more of these sources. In 1903, in the German journal Umschau, Svante Arrhenius removed the meteors from the equation. Instead, he wrote, individual spores wafted throughout space, colonizing any hospitable planet they lit on. Arrhenius named the theory panspermia. A growing body of evidence suggests that it might be Hoyle and Arrhenius might have been correct. [...] Wickramasinghe's team say they've examined the way these fluoresce when bombarded with light and say it is remarkably similar to various unexplained emission spectra seen in various parts of the galaxy. One such place is the Red Rectangle (image above), a cloud of dust and gas around a young star in the Monocerous constellation. Comment: It's 9 years after these cells were found to be colouring the rain red in Kerala, India and over 100 years since the theory of Panspermia was first suggested. Then it's over 40 years after the theory was endorsed and expanded upon by the Nobel Winner Francis Crick, who in 1953, got the credit for being the co-discoverer of the structure of the DNA molecule. The article is incorrect because the cells eventually tested positive for DNA, see ANALYSIS OF RED RAIN OF KERALA. I note the article makes a link to the emission spectra of the Red Rectangle, which is producing a highly charged fountain of dust. Hoyle and Wickramasinghe proved decades ago that dust in space is mainly freeze dried bacteria in various states of degradation, so Wickramasinghe's team observation here, is highly intriguing. SETI may be looking in the wrong places: astronomer PhysOrg.com News, 24th August 2010 A senior astronomer with the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute, Dr Seth Shostak, has reported in an article published online that perhaps we should be seeking alien "life forms" that are thinking machines instead of concentrating the search on biological life forms. Dr Shostak said current experiments aiming to locate extraterrestrial intelligence all assume it is most likely to be found on "habitable worlds" with liquid surface water and light gaseous atmospheres, in other words, worlds that could support life similar biochemically to that on Earth. The problem with this assumption is that the development of artificial intelligence may come soon after the invention of communication technologies, as it has for us, which means SETI's targeted searches may be "chasing a very short-lived prey," Dr Shostak said. We have a chance of detecting extraterrestrial intelligences once they invent radio and go on the air, but within a few hundred years they are likely to invent their thinking machine successors. [...] Dr Shostak suggested the search for artificial intelligence should focus for at least some of the time on places were matter and energy are plentiful, such as young, hot stars, or near the center of galaxies, since these places would be of more interest to intelligent machines, even though they would be inhospitable for biological life forms. Comment: Oh...... how very interesting... it looks like the folks at SETI are now starting to get serious... Again the logic expressed here is flawed, but nontheless, it's giving the impression that scientists are starting to imagine the unimaginable... Has Life Spread Virally Through the Universe? (A 'Galaxy' Most Popular) Daily Galaxy, 1st August 2010 Life originated in a nebular cloud, over 10 billion years ago, but may have had multiple origins in multiple locations, including in galaxies older than the Milky Way according to Rudolf Schild of Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and Rhawn Joseph of the Brain Research Laboratory. Multiple origins, they believe, could account for the different domains of life: archae, bacteria, eukaryotes. The first steps toward life may have been achieved when self-replicating nano-particles initially comprised of a mixture of carbon, calcium, oxygen, hydrogen, phosphorus, sugars, and other elements and gasses were combined and radiated, forming a nucleus around which a lipid-like permeable membrane was established, and within which DNA-bases were laddered together with phosphates and sugars; a process which may have taken billions of years. Comment: Articles like this imply that a paradigm shift is taking place in astrobiology, a victory for those who have been advocating Panspermia for many decades. The believers include Nobel Prize winners who were scorned for their beliefs that life on Earth came from outer space but the latest discoveries have made this hypothesis extremely hard to debunk, but at the same it means that life will be ubiquitous in space and would be DNA based but not necessarily carbon based. Please note the emphasis on the first steps towards life requiring "a lipid-like permeable membrane, this is a plasma interface see Wikipedia Semipermeable membrane . Despite the emphasis on chemistry, all chemistry is a dance of charges and a plasma interface will only allow charge that has a higher potential associated with molecules or ions to pass through it. We are being told here clearly that the first kind of life is plasma based, and we can immediately cite indigenous sources who claim that there are other forms of life in the universe that they have called The Ancestors. Life in the Universe: "It May Not Even Have a Genetic Code" Daily Galaxy, 20th July 2010 There are in fact a number of genetic-studies which purport to demonstrate that the common ancestors for Earthly life forms may have first began to form billions of year before the Earth was created. It has been speculated the first steps toward actual life may have begun with self-replicating riboorganisms whose descendants fell to Earth and other planets through mechanisms of panspermia, triggering the RNA world and then life as we know it. Life on some planets may be like life on Earth. Life on other worlds may have a completely different chemistry, and may not even possess a genetic code. Life that may have been originated elsewhere, even within our own solar system, could be unrecognizable compared with life here and thus could not be detectable by telescopes and spacecraft landers designed to detect terrestrial biomolecules or their products. Life might be based on molecular structures substantially different from those on Earth. What we normally think of as 'life' is based on chains of carbon atoms, with a few other atoms, such as nitrogen or phosphorous, Hawking observed in his lecture, Life in the Universe. We can imagine that one might have life with some other chemical basis, such as silicon, "but carbon seems the most favorable case, because it has the richest chemistry." Organic molecules are now known to be common throughout the universe. Life, then, is assumed to be carbon-based.The Earth was formed largely out of the heavier elements, including carbon and oxygen. Somehow, Hawking observes, "some of these atoms came to be arranged in the form of molecules of DNA. One possibility is that the formation of something like DNA, which could reproduce itself, is extremely unlikely. However, in a universe with a very large, or infinite, number of stars, one would expect it to occur in a few stellar systems, but they would be very widely separated." Comment: This article is beating the drum that extraterrestrial life does not have to be carbon based and could be completely different from what we consider to be 'life'. Unfortunately, this article, quotes Hawkins, thus devaluing the message. Hawkins has become a fearmonger and some of his opinions have nothing to do with science. Aliens Cause Global Warming: A Caltech Lecture by Michael Crichton Watts Up with That, 9th July 2010 The “exoneration” by Climategate investigations (like Muir Russell) that never bother to talk to skeptics, create an impossible conundrum of having essentially a trial with judge, jury, reporters, spectators, and defendant, but no plaintiff. The plaintiff is locked outside the courtroom sitting in the hall hollering and hoping the jury hears some of what he has to say. Given this, I thought it valuable to revisit this Cal-Tech lecture on the state of science and consensus by the late Michael Crichton. – Anthony Watts Comment: Satire!?! My interest here is the vitriol spewed out about SETI! Wow! Here is a quote: "In 1960, Drake organizes the first SETI conference, and came up with the now-famous Drake equation: N=N*fp ne fl fi fc fLI have not read anything by Paul Davies but his books are on my reading to-do list. However, in his January 2010 public lecture that was heavily promoted, he talked about Quintessence, which stuck in my head. At the time, I missed the obvious connection, but no doubt it's an in-joke for initiates. In my lectures notes I wrote: "Hence, there was a short discussion of Quintessence and he gave a few outrageous ideas about suitcase sized intelligences that would not bother investigating the galaxy but they would sit quietly in space contemplating their navels and not bothering with contacting other life in the universe, (not quite, but he might as well as said meditating into nirvana)."However, now I've got it. Quintessence was the name given by the mediaeval Aristotle to the crystalline spheres in outer space, this was the crystalline form of ether or the "fifth element". Now, the problem that Paul Davies and SETI folks now have, is that the Quintessence is appearing all over the planet, so to address this issue, we have SETV. Michael Crichton is dead now but I would love to know what he would be thinking now if he was still alive and informed about what's really going on. Will the Evolution of "Intelligence" Prove to Be Constant in the Universe? (A Galaxy Classic) Daily Galaxy, 22nd June 2010 [...] there is no trend toward human-like intelligence, and this whole idea of intelligence being convergent is just an empty claim based on what we want to believe about ourselves." Only one species of the billions of species that have existed on Earth has shown an aptitude for radios and even we failed to build one during the first 99% of our 7 million year history. Current estimates say that are some 100 billion stars just in our Milky Way galaxy and 10 billion trillion stars in the observable universe. There are more stars in existence than days since the universe was formed.Yet, the deafening silence from space is not surprising. There must be other radio transmitters out there, but perhaps none in our galaxy. If homo sapiens survive long enough, time will tell. We should not expect to see any other forms of life that are genetically, functionally and intellectually similar to us." Lineweaver emphasizes. "I strongly suspect that our closest relatives in the universe are here on Earth, and they're not likely to be elsewhere." But NASA was listening and our future searches have been reconfigured to explore for non-carbon forms of life and the totally unknown. Comment: UAPS are now in vogue! It's a constant drip drip drip of news resetting the agenda, but it looks like SETI has already changed track and looking for NON CARBON BASED LIFE FORMS! Could Livingston UFO sighting be connected to an experiment in Wales? Scotsman, 28th May 2010 On April 17 a test was carried out on a Welsh hillside by a group of like-minded individuals to try out equipment built to communicate with alien life forms through the medium of light. The complex contraption, according to Paul Rowlands – the man who built it, converts voice and audio into light which are then transmitted into space using lasers. The equipment, says Paul, is also capable of receiving any responses. "I've been using light-based technology to try to contact the spirit world in paranormal experiments and found it to be a very effective method of communication, he said. [...] The group then transmitted their own personal messages alongside a mathematically-coded audio track. The equipment was also used to send the music tracks Angels by Robbie Williams, Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft by The Carpenters and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Comment: DIY SETI? 'Nature's batteries' may have helped power early lifeforms Eureka Alert News, 25th May 2010 Researchers at the University of Leeds have uncovered new clues to the origins of life on Earth. The team found that a compound known as pyrophosphite may have been an important energy source for primitive lifeforms. There are several conflicting theories of how life on Earth emerged from inanimate matter billions of years ago – a process known as abiogenesis. "It's a chicken and egg question," said Dr Terry Kee of the University of Leeds, who led the research. "Scientists are in disagreement over what came first – replication, or metabolism. But there is a third part to the equation – and that is energy." [...] But despite its importance to life, it is not fully understood how phosphorus first appeared in our atmosphere. One theory is that it was contained within the many meteorites that collided with the Earth billions of years ago. Comment: More heretics talking about life originating from space and given credence to the theory of Panspermia. Note: these scientists are not paying attention to the work of others, phosphorous is manufacturered in space. Did DNA-Based Life Begin in Nebula & Interstellar Clouds? Daily Galaxy, 24th May 2010 Stellar debris, nebulae such as the Bubble (image above) and Orion Nebula, and interstellar clouds contain hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, phosphorus, water vapour, methanol, ethanol, cyanide, ammonia, formaldehyde, and complex organic molecules. A spectral line survey of Orion nebular clouds has identified 40 different molecular species, including several organic compounds such as methyl cyanide, methanol, and dimethyl ether. An examination of a nebular cloud within 3 astronomical units of AA Tauri revealed the presence of an abundance of simple organic molecules (HCN, C2H2, and CO2), water vapor, and OH. Water was particularly abundant throughout the inner disk which is a strong indication of active organic chemistry. There is an abundance of organic molecules, water, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons within interstellar clouds, which indicates either the presence of life, and serve as important ingredients for creating life. Comment: This whole article is excellent. So all of a sudden, we are now getting more reports explaining that the ingredients of life are "ubiquitous" in nebula & interstellar clouds. Instead of space being a cold, dark, hostile environment, we are told it is in fact a stellar nursery for encouraging life! Quote: "Microbes from Earth are preadapted to surviving conditions which they have not encountered on this planet. Therefore, they must have inherited the genes which made survival in space possible; and this means these genes were acquired from microbes which had lived in space (Joseph 2009a)." I keep thinking about Sir Fred Hoyle who teamed up with N. Chandra Wickramasinghe, taking 20 years to realise that the dust in space was mostly freeze dried bacteria in various states of degradation. The mindset was space was lifeless and dust was made from inorganic compounds, and that is why after much frustration, it took 20 years to eradicate this prejudice and Hoyle was a brilliant man! Goodness me! This is biblical talk: "...for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Genesis (ch. III, v. 19) Extraterrestrials may not need UFOs to visit Earth American Chronicle, 15th May 2010 People who wonder about or even actively research the topics of UFOs and visitors from elsewhere sometimes begin with certain assumptions that may only be partially correct. We might assume that if we are being visited, these intelligent beings are all biological life forms, though they might be quite different from humans. We could also conclude that they are from another planet and they travel here aboard advanced spacecraft, possibly warping or surfing space-time in some way. However, there are also theories and indications that, although those basic concepts might generally be accurate in some cases, there could be other developments going on as well. Comment: OK, there is a problem with the headline but the rest of the article is acceptable. The title of this article reveals a fundamental error in thinking. That is a UFO or 'Unidentified Flying Object' is a vehicle. It implies that an ET entity requires a separate vehicle and NOT the concept that the ET could be A THOUGHTFORM OR INTELLIGENCE THAT CAN CREATE ITS VEHICLE AT WILL. That is one reason why the military and other groups have used the term Unidentified Aerial Phenomena to get away from the ingrained thinking of ufologists. Nobody is arguing about the existence of humanoid ETs, but that is not the only consideration that has to be made. Well, from what I have uncovered so far, there have been one ufologist, as early as the 1940s who proposed a UFO theory that fits the available observations where no one seems to have advanced a better idea since! Scientists have noted the presence of hydrogen fluoride throughout the Milky Way Christian Science Monitor, 12th May 2010 A peculiar chemical compound has been found to be ubiquitous in interstellar gas clouds throughout our Milky Way galaxy and may give scientists a better way to track hydrogen across the universe. The compound, called hydrogen fluoride, was detected by the European-built Herschel infrared space observatory. It is a mix of the elements hydrogen and fluorine and could serve as a signpost for astronomers trying to track hydrogen caches in the cosmos, researchers said. "Hydrogen fluoride may be a more robust tracer of hidden molecular hydrogen than any other molecule used at present," said study team member Edwin Bergin of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. Comment: To think that people have been taught that space is a cold dark empty place with nothing going on, when that is absolutely a very long way from the truth! Here again is another revelation of a strange chemical in space. For years astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle talked about the viruses, bacteria and dust in space that exists freeze-dried and ready to go! This was after his work in the 1960s and 1970s, but he got his knighthood for his theory of how elements are created in space. Now we are finding more complex organic molecules and astronomers believe "...it could only be a matter of time before amino acids are found in interstellar space." That's the so-called building blocks for life, we alread know that complex molecules can be seen blowing out from the near the galactic center implying that is how they arrive – prepackaged. I have written before about how virulent bacteria from Earth gets in space when imbued with a little bit of radiation, I imagine after billions of years, goodness knows what's out there.... Well, space "critters" for a start... No wonder some Nobel Prize winners refused to believe in some of the highly improbable theories for the beginnings of life and supported Panspermia based theories instead. Awareness grows about extraterrestrials, consciousness, emerging mysteries American Chronicle, 7th May 2010 Researchers, journalists and others seem to be re-evaluating reports about unconventional U.S. defense and intelligence activities regarding contact and interaction with extraterrestrial life. The "situation awareness" about possible visitation to Earth by extraterrestrials, as well as other emerging scientific understanding about many phenomena, appears to be steadily improving. [...] There are misconceptions as well as misinformation about some anomalous and mysterious phenomena. And, there are many areas of importance that we just don´t fully understand, according to some researchers. Comment: OK, I think some of the article is off the charts for me, but it's still interesting that the topics of discussion have made the mainstream. This is change.... Scientists weigh in on Hawking's alien warning Some agree with the physicist's argument that we should avoid them, a few are sharply critical – and one sent a limerick. Los Angeles Times, 7th May 2010 Famed physicist Stephen Hawking set off chatter in the scientific community in late April when he posited the existence of intelligent aliens on his new TV series, "Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking" —adding that it would be best for human beings to avoid contact with them. Hawking speculated that such aliens would likely be nomads, living in ships after sucking their own planet dry of resources, and hopping from one interstellar refueling station to the next. Earth, he said, shouldn't do anything to encourage their visit. Comment: Well, even if Hawkings is wrong, at least he is getting people to think. We are experiencing a dimensional shift, people are seeing huge balls of fire in the sky amongst other manifestations and the general response is just a blank... Here is the link to comments from scientists compiled by The Journal of Cosmology: Commentaries: Stephen Hawking's Aliens Some of these responses are essays that are well worth reading! Someone has made a good point here that has made me think: Why would aliens travel across space for resources, if they were intelligent, they would tap the aether in their own backyard! The reason why we are not doing this is because it would create a situation where underlings could not be so easily controlled. Stephen Hawkings Universe - Fear The Aliens YouTube, 6th May 2010 Now this is true fear mongering,on a global scale,by a well respected scientist! I Wonder what they are really saying here! Stephen Hawking suggests that if advanced spacefaring aliens exploit resources like humans, wed better hope they dont find us anytime soon. RISE RESIST REBEL Comment: Totally amazed! No wonder people are complaining! This is a short clip [3:18] from Into The Universe with Stephen Hawking: The Story of Everything Premiere Sunday May 2 2010. I got the distinct impression that Hawkins has stolen some ideas from astronomer Fred Hoyle's book The Black Cloud... To be honest, I am very suspicious, are "they" testing public reaction to aliens? Oh well, The Times are soliciting comments and there is nothing but apathy so far.... see Your take on Stephen Hawking’s Universe I want to watch the whole documentary but as it says in the Bible, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak... I watched the first 5 minutes and loved the intro of the Cosmic Web in 3D awesome but sorry, I was pissed when he talked about the sun being made up of hydrogen 'gas' instead of saying it's a plasma ball and then I got even more annoyed when he reinforced Big Bang mythology and stated everything came from nothing. The question I have for Hawkings is: If everything came from nothing, where did the laws of physics come from to tell the universe what to do when it was born? Weird Water in Space is Electrically Charged Space.com, 7th May 2010 A new 'phase' of water that is electrically charged has been discovered in space for the first time. The weird space water vapor was discovered in an interstellar dust cloud by the European Space Agency's Herschel space observatory. Unlike the three more familiar phases of water – namely solid ice, liquid water and gaseous steam – this newfound 'phase' doesn't occur naturally on Earth. Comment: Well, my first thought was electrically charged water in space looks like another key ingredient for extraterrestrial life. See 'Electrical Activity -Is It a Key Indicator of Extraterrestrial Life?' below, for previous comments on this topic. Electrical Activity -Is It a Key Indicator of Extraterrestrial Life? Daily Galaxy, 30th April 2010 Physicists from the University of Granada and University of Valencia, analyzing data sent by the Huygens probe from Titan, have “unequivocally” proved that there is natural electrical activity on Titan, the largest of Saturn's moons. The world scientist community believes that the probability of organic molecules, precursors of life, being formed is higher on planets or moons which have an atmosphere with electrical storms. [...] On this moon, clouds with convective movements are formed and, therefore, static electrical fields and stormy conditions can be produced”, he explained. “This also considerably increases the possibility of organic and prebiotic molecules being formed, according to the theory of the Russian biochemist Alexander I. Oparín and the experiment of Stanley L. Miller”, which managed to synthesize organic compounds from inorganic compounds through electrical discharges. Comment: Due to Mayan claims of the 'Return of the Ancestors' and the general belief of Ancestors amongst indigenous populations I am researching the origins of life. This is another area of science where there are few established theories. Our scientists have found complex molecules in space, plenty of dust which has a component of bacterial cells, viruses are manufactured in space, there is lightning in space, charged particles in space making up plasmas, magnetic fields in space, these are all the ingredients for the ancestors if we consider them to be living plasma entities. Our scientists have accepted the notion of "prebiotic soup" for the origin of life on Earth, but don't discuss how these conditions would occur in space. The science of plasmas tells us that they form distinct cells, made from double layers that act as capacitors when differences in electrical potentials occur. How would this occur in space? Well, we know that some comets have evidence of different extreme conditions (fire and ice) to produce certain types of minerals and as they pass through space they are attracting and repulsing all sorts of material. They routinely pass through different electrical regions of varying magnetic strengths and so it's not hard to imagine that plasma cell formation would automatically occur. Please note the recent incidents of red rain that occured over months (Kerala, India 2001) which hosted bacterial cells with DNA that came from an extraterrestrial source, probably a passing comet. Hence, none of this is just theory, it's just very few are willing to join up the dots. Meanwhile, The Ancestors are being seen all over the planet. ET Tech: "Could a Level of Technology Beyond Information & Matter Exist?" Daily Galaxy, 27th April 2010 This week, Stephen Hawking warned that contact with an advanced extraterrestrial civilization could have dire consequences for the human species. [...] In fact, Davies writes in his new book, Eerie Silence, that advanced technology might not even be made of matter. That it might have no fixed size or shape; have no well-defined boundaries. Is dynamical on all scales of space and time. Or, conversely, does not appear to do anything at all that we can discern. Does not consist of discrete, seperate things; but rather it is a system, or a subtle higher-level corrrelation of things. Comment: The paragraph highlighted here sounds like they are talking about the properties of plasma entities. To be honest, I want to think about this article, I may even spend some money and buy Paul Davies's new book. Well, I am in no doubt that SETI scientist are trying to understand the UAP phenomena because the UAP presence can no longer be ignored and it is becoming increasing obvious that there is a very diverse ecology out there. Unfortunately for them, they are trying to use the framework of the current scientific paradigm, which is too orientated towards the beliefs systems of unevolved and imperfect humans. More: ET Technonolgy Could Be Totally "Weird" Says One of World's Leading Experts "Quantum weirdness, living organisms, human minds, and designed machines all are examples in which wholes and parts relate in different ways," writes astrophysicist Paul Davies in his new book, Eerie Silence." I don't think this is just about promoting a book, but please note this is another headline catcher. There is a certain message that is being given out or rammed home, depending on your perspective. Stephen Hawking's Alien Warnings Divide UFOlogists AOL News, 27th April 2010 This weekend, famed physicist Stephen Hawking rocked the residents of this world with his declaration that aliens are likely to exist but should be avoided at all costs. First contact, he warned, could prove to be "much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans." Some scientists publicly refuted Hawking, blasting his pessimistic prediction of an extraterrestrial encounter. Meanwhile, other researchers have rallied behind him, offering similarly wary predictions. AOL News managed to establish contact with four self-described experts in the field of UFOlogy -- the study of unidentified flying objects -- to elicit their takes on the news. They fell roughly into two broad camps: Comment: Quite interesting selection of views. I note Escamilla has realised that most ETs are actually living creatures but some of those are superintelligent and know their mathematics, so I am not sure "creatures" is adequate to describe the spectrum of lifeforms that are plasmatic. I agree most with Greers comments though. After detonating the first nuclear bomb, if ETs were going to invade then that was the excuse. Mr Jacobs is arguably the most obnoxious, as he fails to see that the others have a right to give their opinion. Stephen Hawking warns over making contact with aliens BBC News, 25th April 2010 Aliens almost certainly exist but humans should make every attempt to avoid them, Stephen Hawking has warned. In a series for the Discovery Channel the renowned astrophysicist said it was "perfectly rational" to assume intelligent life exists elsewhere. But he warned that aliens might simply raid Earth for resources, then move on. "If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn't turn out well for the Native Americans," he said. Comment: I have been taking note of Hawking's speculations, see Stephen Hawking: "Why Isn't the Milky Way Crawling With Mechanical or Biological Life?" (A New Year's Weekend Classic) , the Daily Galaxy article has some logic, but this BBC article borders on being funny to ridiculous. If 'alternative life' is likely to be microbial, why would humans need to avoid any attempts of contact? I think you will find that the headline is meant to be read and absorbed by as many people as possible, but the rest is just sheer drivel. Now that UAPs are appearing en masse, there is probably some concern about humanoid ETs but there are plenty of opinonated researchers that have already debated this issue, so I won't bother. Whatever, I told you that authorities were in a hurry to get the existence of ET life out to the general public. This is all so interesting! This article from The Times (UK), is a bit more cogent Don’t talk to aliens, warns Stephen Hawking "Will Humans and Extraterrestrial Life Share DNA Roots?" Daily Galaxy, 21st April 2010 A recent mathematical analysis says that life as we know it is written into the laws of reality. DNA is built from a set of twenty amino acids - the first ten of those can create simple prebiotic life, and now it seems that those ten are thermodynamically destined to occur wherever they can. [...] The study indicates that you don't need a miracle to arrive at the chemical cocktail for early life, just a decently large asteroid with the right components. That's all. The entire universe could be stuffed with life, from the earliest prebiotic protein-a-likes to fully DNAed descendants. The path from one to the other is long, but we've had thirteen and a half billion years so far and it's happened at least once. [...] Early Earth was covered with carbonaceous material from meteorites and comets that provided the raw materials from which first life emerged. In his new book, The Eerie Silence, astrophysicist Paul Davies of Arizona State University suggests that the original cells would have been able to pick and choose from the early Earth's organic cocktail. To the best of our knowledge, he writes, "the twenty-one chosen by known life do not constitute a unique set; other choices could have been made, and maybe were made if life started elsewhere many times." Comment: OK, the ET paradigm shift is happening now! I think SETI folks are now in a bit of a hurry to get the message out that we are not the only lifeform in the universe. UFOs? ‘There’s plenty of evidence’ Buffalo News, 11th April 2010 [...] Tyson used an example cited in his television show: What scientists have done so far to test for other life forms is the equivalent of scooping a few hundred glasses of water from all the oceans in the world — and concluding that those waters have no fish. As some continue to search, others believe that there already is ample evidence suggesting that we are not alone in the universe. Haseley has brought some of them to NCCC. Peter Robbins, an eminent UFO researcher and author, held a packed school lecture hall in rapt attention March 25 as he detailed the famous UFO sightings in a Bentwaters, England, forest near a U. S. Air Force base. Comment: Yes, even the Queen's astronomers has recently admitted that they have been searching with the narrow focus of expecting to find humanoids who would be interested in communicating with humans. Lord Martin Rees, president of the Royal Society and astronomer to the Queen, said the existence of extra terrestrial life may be beyond human understanding. He made the remarks shortly after hosting the national science academy’s first conference on the possibility of alien life. “They could be staring us in the face and we just don’t recognise them. The problem is that we’re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology,” he said. “I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can’t conceive. Just as a chimpanzee can’t understand quantum theory, it could be there as aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains.”However the military have realised there are lifeforms that exist that they would prefer to ignore. "Contrary to what many members of the public may believe, MoD has no interest in the subject of extraterrestrial life forms visiting the UK, only in ensuring the integrity and security of UK airspace," it says.By the way, note the image icon used here, if you are a pilot or an astronomer, officialdom are very happen to receive your reports of UAPs. The Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena (UAP) Observations Reporting Scheme is launched: UFO studies should be 'legitimate university subject', claims American professor The studing of UFOs and other unexplained phenomena from space should be a legitimate university subject, an American professor, Philip Haseley, has claimed. The Telegraph, 13th April 2010 The New York anthropology professor said the subject should be part of the mainstream as a serious “area of study”. The Niagara County Community College, a state university in New York, lecturer said due to the high amount of sightings every year, it should follow that students should be able to investigate phenomenon. [...] "(A sighting) happens to millions of people (around the world)," he said. "It's about time we looked into this as a worthy area of study. “It's important that the whole subject be brought out in the open and investigated.” Comment: Maybe, Professor Philip Haseley, realises the US are behind the times and is aware of the decades of research and the incredible research that has been taking place in Hessdalen since the mid 1980s. It is already public knowledge (for anyone with enough intelligence to do some basic research), i.e. most real UFOs are a plasma phenomena (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) and as we live in a universe that has existed for billions of years, which is 99.999% plasma, a completely separate lifeform has evolved with out of this world characteristics, quite simple really. Anyway, I think great efforts are being made now as controllers have realised a dimensional shift is in progress (the veil is lifting) and there is nothing to prevent it, but to accept our new reality. New species 'live without oxygen' The first animals that do not depend on oxygen to breathe and reproduce have been discovered by scientists on the bed of the Mediterranean Sea. The Telegraph, 9th April 2010 Three species of creature, which are only a millimetre long and resemble jellyfish encased in shells, were found 2.2 miles (3.5km) underwater on the ocean floor, 124 miles (200km) off the coast of Crete, in an area with almost no oxygen. The animals, named Loriciferans due to their protective layer, or lorica, were discovered by a team led by Roberto Danovaro from Marche Polytechnic University in Ancona, Italy. Lisa Levin, of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, wrote in the journal BMC Biology that further research into animals that can live without oxygen could help scientists examining the possibility of alien life existing on other planets. Comment: I think this article is part of a carefully crafted plan to jolt the public into the realisation that the standard requirement of oxygen is not the same for all the different lifeforms on this planet. CIA concludes study of UFOs futile — who'd trust findings? Seattle Times, 27th March 2010 It's a 17-page report available on the CIA's Web site that acknowledges the futility of investigating UFOs by the government agency. It concludes, "Like the JFK assassination conspiracy theories, the UFO issue probably will not go away soon, no matter what the Agency does or says. "The belief that we are not alone in the universe is too emotionally appealing and the distrust of our government is too pervasive to make the issue amenable to traditional scientific studies of rational explanation and evidence. Still, "CIA's Role in the Study of UFOs, 1947-90," makes for fascinating reading. Comment: It seems that the CIA are pretending to not not know about the research at Hessdalen, Norway. It does not matter, countries such as Norway with a fairly untarnished international reputation, doing research on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena for 25 years and sharing their discoveries with other scientists around the world will make a huge difference. UFO organisations that are covers for the government and pretending they don't know what is going on, will become a laughing stock, as the dimensional shift accelerates. Documentary: 'The Portal: The Hessdalen Light Phenomenon' [2009] YouTube, March 2010 Background Information: Hessdalen is a small valley in the central part of Norway. At the end of 1981 through 1984, residents of the Valley became concerned and alarmed about strange, unexplained lights that appeared at many locations throughout the Valley. Hundreds of lights were observed. At the peak of activity there were about 20 reports a week. Project Hessdalen was established in the summer of 1983. A field investigation was carried out between 21.January and 26.February 1984. Fifty-three light observations were made during the field investigation. Assistant professor Erling Strand, the founder of the Hessdalen project, conducted together with the author assistant professor Bjørn Gitle Hauge, østfold University College Norway, the first international congress of the Hessdalen phenomena in 1994. This congress attracted scientists from all over the world and boosted the scientific research in Hessdalen. Statements from the congress indicated that explanation of the phenomena could lead to new concepts in physics. This congress also started the collaboration between østfold University College in Norway and CNR in Italy. Together with Dr. Stelio Montebugnoli the author started the EMBLA project, with the purpose of studying the electromagnetic radiation and behavior of the Hessdalen phenomena in 1999. Lights are still being observed in the Hessdalen Valley, but their frequency has decreased to about 20 observations a year. Comment: The Hessdalen pheomenon of what looks like a burning ball of fire is explained in part 5 of this documentary as 'magnetic field plasmoids'. This documentary was made by independent Norwegian filmakers with the cooperation of the Hessdalen Research Association. The following is the conclusions from over 25 years of research and after Italian SETI scientists got involved with much more highly sophisticated equipment.
"These scientific data are quite sensational! We are dealing with a real existing phenomenon which can be observed even though this is difficult." Terje Toftenes, 2009For additional information, see the research paper 10 YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH OF THE HESSDALEN PHENOMENA (2004) Royal astronomer: 'Aliens may be staring us in the face' Aliens may be “staring us in the face” in a form humans are unable to recognise, the Queen’s astronomer has said. The Telegraph, 22nd February 2010 Lord Martin Rees, president of the Royal Society and astronomer to the Queen, said the existence of extra terrestrial life may be beyond human understanding. Just as a chimpanzee can’t understand quantum theory, it could be there as aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains.” Comment: So, what this means is that the powers that be can no longer deny the existence of another lifeform on this planet and they are starting to make hmmm noises in the mainstream media. This is getting exciting..... Meteorite Crammed with 'Millions' of Organic Compounds Discovery News, 15th February 2010 A meteorite that hit the town of Murchison, Australia, hasn't quit giving up its secrets. The Murchison meteorite is one of the most studied space rocks because many pieces were recovered after it was seen breaking up as it fell through the atmosphere in 1969. Approximately 100 kg of the carbonaceous chondrite was recovered. Carbonaceous chondrites are extremely important to scientists as they were formed from material that existed in the solar system's planet-forming disk of gas and dust. They are, quite literally, time capsules holding onto a 4-billion-year-old record of the birth of our solar system. In this case, the Murchison meteorite has given us another clue to the abundance of organic chemicals that existed before the Earth formed. In fact, this particular meteorite may have originated from material older than our sun. Comment: I think this article is revealing that there seems to be a paradigm shift going on in the governing/scientific mindset. For decades scientists derided the theory of Panspermia, that suggests that the seeds of life are prevalent throughout the universe and life on Earth began by such seeds landing on Earth and propagating. However, on a little research, we find that some brilliant minds believed it was completely obvious but were of course ignored. It follows the enforced belief that states the human population must not become aware that our existence on this planet can be threatened by the knowledge of external etraterrestrial life and celestial forces that governments and other authorities can do nothing about. This mindset explains lots and lots of secrecy, coding inserted into religious text, certain esoteric knowledge retained in art, architecture and literature, and ancient mythology etc. It is interesting that this is an old meteorite found in 1969, because other research has revealed the exact same organic compounds and scientific researchers have just been scoffed at. Yet, we know that when astronauts are in the space stations, bacteria and microbes become virulent, they mutate quickly and become literally radiation hardened. Scientists have known the facts for a long time but it seems that only now is there a willingness to stop the pretense and discuss the facts. Life comes from the stars and when we are willing to look at the facts and contemplate the cyclical nature of how consciousness is being continually being delivered to Earth, then we can be start to understand the implications for what is taking place now. (Read about UFO 'soft' Disclosure above, these articles in the MSM are part of the plan, but quite frankly if you have read enough ufo sightings, you will know some have been far from 'soft' disclosure....) Is DNA a Fossil of the Origin of Life? Two Leading Scientists Say "Yes" Daily Galaxy, 28th January 2010 What if a process Darwin never wrote about, and never even dreamed of, has been controlling the evolution of life throughout most of the Earth's history and altered the evolutionary process itself? What if it turns out that there is a "time machine" that biologists can use to look back towards the origin of life? Microbiologist Carl Woese and physicist Nigel Goldenfeld both at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, argue that Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection applies only to a recent phase of life on Earth; that a process of horizontal evolution led to the rise of the genetic code. Comment: The Nobel Laureaute Francis Crick, deduced the double-helix structure of DNA abouty 55 years ago and along with James Watson is credited for discovering DNA, (of course they took the credit for someone else's hard work that produced the hard evidence, but that is another scandal), but this is only true if you ignore the Shamanic tradition that has known about DNA for thousands of years. It has been proven that Shamanic indigenous plant and biological knowledge is so specific, that is has produced brilliant remedies, so much so, that they have been copied and synthesised by pharmacologists. At the same time, indigenous drawings of DNA phases and chromosomes are so accurate, that only the most prejudiced and uninformed would even attempt to deny that highly trained shamans have ways of interacting with other forms of conscious life on this planet. For good reading on this subject matter, I recommend the book, The cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge by Anthropologist Jeremy Narby. Anyway, it turns that Francis Crick, the Nobel Prize-winning father of modern genetics and establishment star, did not believe Darwinism and created his own heretical ideas based on Panspermia, ie that life was delivered to Earth, just like the beliefs of ALL indigenous groups. Interestingly, good metaphysical sources are also adamant that consciousness was and is still being delivered to our planet. Cricke believed that DNA arrived from space in his own theory of "Directed Panspermia" and he shared those beliefs in an article that was published in Icarus (1973) and a book called Life itself: It's origin and nature [1981]. Here is a quote from an article, August 2004, from spacedaily.com: Crick was not content to sit back on his laurels after winning one of the top prizes in science, however. He continued to study the mysteries of life, such as the nature of consciousness, or the possibility that RNA preceded the development of DNA.Since we are experiencing extreme space weather and Earth is being asailed by asteroids, meteorites and small space rocks as well as other more exotic plasma entities that scientists are struggling to understand, maybe we can appreciate those who have held the truth and have refused to be brow beaten by others with a narrower focus. The eerie silence: are we alone in the universe? Royal Society, 26th January 2010 Start Time: 6:30pm Start Date: 26 January 2010 End Date: 26 January 2010 End Time: 7:30pm Venue: The Royal Society, London Speaker: Professor Paul Davies University of Arizona Chair: Jocelyn Bell-Burnell Fifty years ago, a young astronomer named Frank Drake pointed a radio telescope at nearby stars in the hope of picking up a signal from an alien civilization. Thus began one of the boldest scientific projects in history: the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). But after a half-century of scanning the skies, astronomers have little to report but an eerie silence, eerie because many scientists are convinced that the universe is teeming with life. The problem could be that we've been looking in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and in the wrong way. [...] This lecture will be webcast LIVE at royalsociety.org/live and available to view on demand within 48 hours of delivery. Visit our video archive at royalsociety.tv Comment: Maybe, just maybe, the powers that be realise, that they can't beat the universe. Magnetars, on the other side of the galaxy, 400 quadrillion miles away are blasting us into a new World Age by changing the fabric of spacetime. All attempts at preventing a dimensional shift have failed, but what will pompous Brits say? You can watch this live! Joyfire Lecture Review Well, I listened to the lecture and it seemed to be PR to promote Professor Paul Davies's next book which of course, was the same title as the lecture and is out in April. The best comment was by astrophysicist Jocelyn Bell-Burnell, who chaired the meeting and who stated in the closing comments, "Maybe a female should look!" Even I was stunned by this rather acerbic comment. She also said thanks for the talk that she also described as "unstretching". Again, she might as well have said, 'That was a complete waste of time'. Honestly, I was totally amazed!! I was excited for about 15 seconds when he talked about the development of radar until Prof. Davies started talking about radio astronomy. I was excited when he talked about the search for a "shadow biosphere on Earth", but of course he said nothing of any interest. What the hell is the UAP phenomena if not a shadow biosphere on Earth? Davies talked about thinking outside the box but then his arguments were consistently, closing down each and every avenue. Yet, we are told that looking for civilisations outside of Earth was being ramped up! He did talk about alien space probes, checking out the internet and that a SETI researcher had created a website with info, supposedly because the aliens would not know how to surf the internet. Or even, they are trying to stop them reading Wikipedia, because it would reflect badly on mankind that we were very wrong in some areas... He also made a joke (I think it was meant to be a joke) about ETs sending a message to everyone on the internet which I did not find funny at all, for obvious reasons. I was amazed to find that there is not one credible theory of how life started. NOT ONE! He mentioned two scientists with opposing views, Jacques Monod with a rather depressing quote about man being "alone in the unfeeling immensity". The positive view was from Christian De Duve who wrote: Vital Dust: The Origin And Evolution Of Life On Earth, with the quote: "Life is a Cosmic Imperative!" (I have ordered the book, because the discussion of cosmic dust is topical as we know a crystalline dusty plasma is now invading our solar system.) The discussion of signalling just sounds like creating scientific research with no intent whatsoever to find anything. Hence, Dame Bell-Burnell's rather sharp comments. It was interesting to know that NOBODY had studied what they call "weird life" on Earth. Well, of course, that's because they don't want to find anything weird.... it's so obvious. The really strange comment was aliens trying to communicate by infecting us with nanoprobes (viruses). Of course, in Prof, Davies's waffle, there was no mention of how this infection would appear. Whatever, this is an idea I find just too sinister. Of course, to sex up his talk, he mentioned Avatar and said it was too anthropomorphic and very unlikely, using his own peculiar strange logic, but then he got quite enthusiastic about artifical intelligence. Hence, there was a short discussion of Quintessence and he gave a few outrageous ideas about suitcase sized intelligences that would not bother investigating the galaxy but they would sit quietly in space contemplating their navels and not bothering with contacting other life in the universe, (not quite, but he might as well as said meditating into nirvana). What he said was that a quantum computer intelligence would like the cold and leave no electromagnetic fooprint, of course no real discussion of why, but I suppose he based his ideas on computers in our world, so again, not thinking outside of the box. In wrapping up this talk, Davies cheapens the whole effort by saying, it's fun to look! But at least he used a final Frank Drake quote that at least remedied the faux pas. Drake was in the audience but I doubt he was impressed. There was only one question from the audience that might have raised Prof. Davies's pulse rate up and that was someone obviously frustrated with the lack of progress and so we got the lament: Why oh why do scientists not think differently? Yes exactly! The member of the audience said there are some who are afraid to mention the concepts of UFOs and asked directly, (paraphrased): 'Why don't the scientists and the military interact?' I was hoping he might mention UAPs but he fell short after mentioning the constant reports of UFOs... Prof. Davies's reply was of course evasive. In answer to the question he said that ET stories were too anthropomorphic and could be dismissed. No mention of weird life on Earth that if you do some basic research has been detected over and over again. Has the man never read Charles Fort? Never mind the scientific reports that have been done by scientists that are also involved with SETV! The following comment stood out. In his closing remarks Prof. Davies said: "If we are wrong, we will soon find out!"My reaction: Wait a minute, what the hell does that mean? P.S. Jocelyn Bell-Burnell was robbed of a Nobel Prize, no wonder she is bitter! Apparently, as a postgraduate student, she discovered the first radio pulsars with her thesis supervisor Antony Hewish, but even though her name was second on the discovery paper (Hewish first), she was passed over. Apparently, this was a massive scandal and Dr. Iosif Shklovsky, recipient of the 1972 Bruce Medal, sought Bell out at the 1970 International Astronomical Union's General Assembly, to tell her, "Miss Bell, you have made the greatest astronomical discovery of the twentieth century." see Wikipedia... She has received many other honours since and is now a British Dame. So, if you are a woman in science and/or have an interest in what it's been like historically for woman in science, you must watch this short video, [5:25] where Jocelyn Bell-Burnell is interviewed as the new president of the UK & Ireland Insitute of Physics. I was literally 'stunned' at one point. She said in a recent 2009 interview, "women are treated better but it's still not parity" [with men in the scientific world].... Interview with the new President The search for aliens should start on Earth not outer space, says scientist The search for alien life forms should be conducted here on Earth rather than in outer space, scientists have claimed. The Telegraph, 25th January 2010 Professor Paul Davies, a physicist at Arizona University will tell a meeting at the Royal Society that the best way of proving that extra-terrestrial life exists elsewhere in the universe is to use evidence from earth. The meeting at the Royal Society, which will include representatives from Nasa, the European Space Agency and the UN Office for Outer space Affairs marks the 5th anniversary of the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) programme. Lord Rees, President of the Royal Society will also lead one of the sessions. [...] The conference will also discuss how humans might respond to the discovery of extra-terrestrial intelligence. Albert Harrison, the from University of California, said: "It is easy to imagine scenarios resulting in widespread psychological disintegration and social chaos. but historical prototypes, reactions to false alarms and survey results suggest that the predominant response to the discover of a microwave transmission from light years away is likely to be equanimity, perhaps even delight." Comment: Sometimes you really have to wonder.... there are orbs flying around cities and urban areas, and thousands of people are seeing them around the world and especially in the UK. Scientists have been studying plasma entities for decades, and the military have massive databases and secret and declassified reports, but these scientists are still pretending they don't have a clue.... One day, something will whizz over their heads, but I wonder if they will notice... Update Actually, there have been quite a few articles about aliens and extraterrestrials in the media, maybe an attempt to keep the 'aliens are all like us' meme going... I have started to think about this a bit more, see above... Stephen Hawking: "Why Isn't the Milky Way Crawling With Mechanical or Biological Life?" (A New Year's Weekend Classic) Daily Galaxy, 2nd January 2010 In his famous lecture on Life in the Universe, Stephen Hawking asks: "What are the chances that we will encounter some alien form of life, as we explore the galaxy?" If the argument about the time scale for the appearance of life on Earth is correct, Hawking says "there ought to be many other stars, whose planets have life on them. Some of these stellar systems could have formed 5 billion years before the Earth. So why is the galaxy not crawling with self-designing mechanical or biological life forms?" [...] Hawkling prefers another possibility: that there are other forms of intelligent life out there, but that we have been overlooked. Comment: Sometimes it's really hard to take these 'scientists' seriously. It is quite obvious that the whole Universe is crawling with interdimensional life and this is quite easy to prove if you study what is known about plasma, which at 99.999%, permeates the known Universe. Astronomers and astrobiologists have been thinking about this for decades, here is a quote from the book Are Flying Saucers Real [1950] by Major Donald Keyhole: One of the prominent authorities is Dr. H. Spencer Jones, Astronomer Royal. In his book Life on Other Worlds, Dr. Jones points out that everything about us is the result of changing processes, begun millenniums ago and still going on.From this book, Life on Other Worlds, that can be found archived online, Chapter II - The Conditions For The Existence Of Life we find the following: A special role is played in living organisms by carbon, because it possesses to a far greater extent than any other element the power of uniting with itself, as well as with other elements, to build up single molecules containing very large numbers of atoms. It is these complex molecules containing carbon that form the basis of the structure of all living organisms. The only other element that possesses the power of building up complex mole- cules to any great degree is silicon, but the com- pound molecules which have carbon as a basis are far more numerous and complex than those which have silicon as a basis. pg 27 sourceThis book does not discuss plasma, the primordial energy of the universe, the basic building blocks of life, so the discussion of silicon based life and carbon based life is not a reflection of what we should expect from a universe dominated by plasma. Scientists have already proved in the laboratory experiments that plasma cells can grow, replicate and communicate - fulfilling most of the traditional requirements for biological cells. In 2003, physicists Erzilia Lozneanu and Mircea Sanduloviciu of Cuza University, Romania, described in their research paper Minimal Cell System created in Laboratory by Self-Organization (published in Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, volume 18, page 335), how they created plasma spheres and they concluded that these plasma spheres offer a radically new explanation of how life began. They proposed that these plasma spheres were precursors to biological evolution, but they are not the first to make these claims. The Hunt for Extraterrestrial Life Gets Weird Wired Science, 22nd September 2009 "In the search for extraterrestrial life, some scientists say we’re focusing too much on finding signs of existence as we know it, and in the process, we may be missing more strange forms of life that don’t rely on water or carbon metabolism. [...] “Presently we will not be able to detect exotic life, because we have no idea of its potential properties and by this, our probes to planetary surfaces do not carry instruments which can look for something exotic.” [...] “When we try to find a definition for life, in most cases, such a definition is more a summary of the specific properties of terrestrial life,” Leitner said. Because life on Earth requires water, most of the search for extraterrestrial life thus far has focused on the “habitable zone,” or the relatively narrow region around a star where liquid water could exist. Comment: How about a plasmatic lifeform that scientists already tell us have all the characteristics of intelligent life. What’s more, plasma makes up 99.999% of the visible universe, so maybe it should have been considered FIRST! Is there a Life On Mars Conspiracy? Times Online, 11th June 2009 "NASA has tried looking for signs of life on Mars precisely once, in the 1976 Viking mission. The result was positive. The reason nobody says there is life on Mars is that another experiment, part of the same mission, couldn’t find any carbon-based “organic” chemicals in Martian soil. This, NASA decided, overruled the other result: with no carbon present, there could be no microbes living on or under the surface of Mars.[...] So, the question remains: have attempts to explore Mars been secretly scuppered by religious scientists keen to keep planet Earth “special”? Have they been hiding their sabotage under a veil of incompetence? Or is it that scientists really can be astonishingly incompetent without any outside help? Only Dan Brown’s next novel can tell us." Comment: This only got an entry because the last paragraph made me laugh! But, seriously... simpletons can be forgiven for not understanding the vastness of creation and the probability of extra-terrestrial life, but superbrains are supposed to be able to integrate a wide range of subjects and come up with some kind of logical hypothesis. In a universe with billions of galaxies with billions of stars like our Sun, we are all supposed to believe that Earth is special and NOTHING else is out there. I have to agree with Sir William Drummond who wrote Oedipus Judaicus printed in 1811 for private circulation and again 1866 but only properly published in 1996. This is one of the most valuable books in my possession and religious scholars must all now agree with at least some of his conclusions. Drummond suggests that the writers of the Old Testament; ‘follow the example of all the East, in blending in their narratives real with fictitious events and involving important lessons to mankind whether in morals, or in science, under the guise of recorded fact.’ Drummond sought to prove that there was an alternative way to interpret the Bible using the science of comparative linguistics and quite frankly his conclusions are far more satisfying to reasonable and enquiring minds. Therefore, supposedly intelligent people sitting around the table terrified of finding life on a neighbouring planet because of their religious convictions is just plain ridiculous and draws attention to the fact that there is a tremendous need for understanding the true nature of our reality. Alien life may be all around us (or even in us), says professor Daily Mail, 16th February 2009 "Forget little green men on Mars - aliens could be right here on Earth, a leading scientist has claimed. Cosmologist Paul Davies said it was 'entirely reasonable' to believe that we share the planet with a form of life different to anything we know of." Comment: This article is very disappointing as it goes around the same old worn out rut of talking about 'alien' organisms. Meanwhile, the military are seen regularly chasing 'orbs' and New Agers are busy channelling them. The visible universe is 99.999% plasma, is it really that hard to work out that consciousness could develop that would remain in the fundamental state of matter? Life's Raw Materials May Have Come From The Stars, Scientists Confirm Science Daily, 13th June 2008 "Scientists have confirmed for the first time that an important component of early genetic material which has been found in meteorite fragments is extraterrestrial in origin, in a paper published on 15 June 2008. The finding suggests that parts of the raw materials to make the first molecules of DNA and RNA may have come from the stars. The scientists, from Europe and the USA, say that their research provides evidence that life's raw materials came from sources beyond the Earth." Comment: See previous comments on this subject. Anyway, I have just watched the fantasy film 'The Golden Compass', as it was recommended to me by my teeenage son, who has read my book and could immediately see the connection. I have to say I was so fascinated with the storyline and the whole concept of 'dust' coming into Earth's atmosphere and effecting humans that I have resolved to read the book version, especially the bit where they decide to explore 'other worlds' that are the source of the 'dust'. This is highly relevant to my belief that we are experiencing evolutionary change being driven by cosmic energy. Again, the Russians have informed us that they have been investigating HUGE vortexes of energy coming into our atmosphere. I believe that is what the chemtrails are all about, somehow 'controllers' are trying to interfere with the downflow of energy. The UK military have already told us, that this plasma energy is easy to see using their sensors. Personally, I think all their efforts are in vain, do they really think they can fight this cosmic deluge? As I point out in my book, between 2007 - 2012 the increases in energy will be 100,000 times, year on year. I truly believe that great efforts are being made to inform ordinary people of what is taking place on this planet. If you want it straight, you can read my book, I don't think my analysis is subtle at all!! Unfortunately, many don't understand what is taking place and are being distracted by other more mundane issues and many so-called spiritual leaders are not really in tune with what's going on and don't understand the dynamics.....Well, actually thinking about it, I am most certain that SOME of these spiritual leaders DO KNOW what is taking place and are doing their best to prevent their flock from waking up to a new reality.... Microbes mutated in outer space become far more dangerous Trans World News, 13th February 2008 "These bugs can sense where they are by changes in their environment," said Cheryl Nickerson, from the Center for Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology at Arizona State University (ASU). "The minute they sense a different environment, they change their genetic machinery so they can survive." Comment: Humans have "free-will" so we are slightly different in this respect and we can "choose" whether we wish to fully co-operate with new environmental signals or not. Thus, our choice matters if we wish to spiritually evolve and comply with the new "terms and conditions" of living on planet Earth as "space weather" becomes a major issue. Mysterious Orbs - Emanations from A Divine Field? Earthfiles.com, December 2007 "Question: Orbs and Divine Presence IF THEY ARE INTELLIGENT PLASMAS OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN AND YOUR BOOK IS PRESENTING THE HYPOTHESIS THAT THEY HAVE ONLY SHOWED UP IN THE PAST DECADE OR TWO WITH TREMENDOUS INTENSITY AROUND THE WORLD ... Yes. ...AND IF I AM UNDERSTANDING CORRECTLY, YOU ARE LINKING THE ORBS TO A FASCINATING CHAPTER IN YOUR BOOK ENTITLED, ‘ORBS: EVIDENCE OF DIVINE PRESENCE.’ COULD YOU TAKE THE CONCEPT OF INTELLIGENT PLASMAS OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN AND TALK ABOUT HOW THAT MIGHT RELATE TO EVIDENCE OF DIVINE PRESENCE?" Comment: Well, it looks like he Professors have not made the connection with space weather and they certainly don't have a theory for why it is now "raining diamonds". Maybe they should read "Tuning the Diamonds!" UPDATE, 4th January Here is a link to an excellent interview on "orbs" - at the end, they even talk about diamond-shaped energy! link Germs taken to space come back stronger Scientists aren't quite sure why spaced-out salmonella is deadlier Associated Press, 24th September 2007 Comment: I remember the days when space was supposed to be a sterile environment where nothing particlularly interesting happened. Now we find this is a very long way from the truth! Today, scientists have to worry about microbes becoming so virulent that they actually eat space craft. Please note the following, "These bugs can sense where they are by changes in their environment. The minute they sense a different environment, they change their genetic machinery so they can survive." Hence, the new phenomena of spaceweather, suggests genetic changes will occur, right down here on Earth. Cosmic Dust Could Form Inorganic Life, Study Suggests National Geographic News, 17th September 2007 "A recent study suggests that dust in interstellar space can arrange itself into structures that resemble inorganic life-forms." Comment: Well, all these articles about plasma-based life is starting to look like public disclosure. So, as the aetheric background to our reality has changed, apparently we are fifth dimensional now, our wonderful leaders have some explaining to do. Suddenly they can no longer hide the fact that we are surrounded by another form of life -- plasma based -- "magnetic" entities that pervades the universe. These structures originate from universal energy and are self-directing, self-organising and they can evolve! Dust ‘comes alive’ in space The Sunday Times, 12th August 2007 SCIENTISTS have discovered that inorganic material can take on the characteristics of living organisms in space, a development that could transform views of alien life. An international panel from the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Max Planck institute in Germany and the University of Sydney found that galactic dust could form spontaneously into helixes and double helixes and that the inorganic creations had memory and the power to reproduce themselves. A similar rethinking of prospective alien life is being undertaken by the National Research Council, an advisory body to the US government. It says Nasa should start a search for what it describes as “weird life” - organisms that lack DNA or other molecules found in life on Earth. The new research, to be published this week in the New Journal of Physics, found nonorganic dust, when held in the form of plasma in zero gravity, formed the helical structures found in DNA. The particles are held together by electromagnetic forces that the scientists say could contain a code comparable to the genetic information held in organic matter. It appeared that this code could be transferred to the next generation. Professor Greg Morfill, of the Max Planck institute of extra-terrestrial physics, said: “Going by our current narrow definitions of what life is, it qualifies. Comment: Are mainstream scientists providing the litmus for a gobal awakening? Well, I find the tone of this article rather patronising when we consider that this plasma based life is a representation of "divine consciousness". The statement about NASA being given a mission to study this "weird life" is ridiculous when we consider that a previously top secret British military report is already in the public domain and Russian research has been sitting on the internet in english since 1998! So whilst some physicists try to make out they have made a new discovery, the knowledgeable already know that the scientific discipline of plasma physics is over 100 years old. Meanwhile the metaphysical community are in deep dialogue with "magnetic entities", another name for these plasma-based lifeforms and some church folk have started to notice when they congregate, lots of this "divine" energy are in attendance in the form of orbs! Guess what! There is going to be a lot more arriving soon and the big guns are going to take out the ozone layer, so I hope you are ready! Physicists discover inorganic dust with life-like qualities Physorg.com, 10th August 2007 Could extraterrestrial life be made of corkscrew-shaped particles of interstellar dust? Intriguing new evidence of life-like structures that form from inorganic substances in space are revealed today in the New Journal of Physics. The findings hint at the possibility that life beyond earth may not necessarily use carbon-based molecules as its building blocks. They also point to a possible new explanation for the origin of life on earth. Life on earth is organic. It is composed of organic molecules, which are simply the compounds of carbon, excluding carbonates and carbon dioxide. The idea that particles of inorganic dust may take on a life of their own is nothing short of alien, going beyond the silicon-based life forms favoured by some science fiction stories. Now, an international team has discovered that under the right conditions, particles of inorganic dust can become organised into helical structures. These structures can then interact with each other in ways that are usually associated with organic compounds and life itself. Comment: These scientists are informing the world, THERE IS ANOTHER FORM OF LIFE THAT PERVADES THE UNIVERSE AND IT IS PLASMA BASED!! "These complex, self-organized plasma structures exhibit all the necessary properties to qualify them as candidates for inorganic living matter, they are autonomous, they reproduce and they evolve". Of course these scientists are talking plasma cosmology and they should be talking in terms of Birkeland currents or cosmic string. If they were really on the ball they would have also have referred to the Cosmic Web. IS ANYBODY INTERESTED, BECAUSE THE PLANET WILL SOON BE GETTING MEGA BLASTS!! WHERE DO YOU THINK ALL THE ORBS ARE COMING FROM? Check out the comments on this article too. This is an amazing response; "First off, all the new age "nuts" who claim things such as "the universe is minded and conscious" seem less and less crazy every day. If we have these constantly evolving and interacting helical structures, do they give feedback, do they have memory? Are they self aware? This study raises tenfold more questions than answers."It does seem that people are waking up, one by one! Is this the proof that spirits DO exist? Daily Mail, 20 July 2007 [...] 'There is no doubt in my mind that the orbs may well be one of the most significant "outside of this reality" phenomena mankind has ever witnessed,' says Professor Heinemann. 'Until now, there has been a huge amount of anecdotal evidence that the spirit world exists. I believe it's no longer anecdotal. Thanks to digital technology, we can see it for the first time. We are dealing with a non-physical - albeit real - phenomenon.' The temptation, of course, is to dismiss such claims as bunkum. Indeed, many of Professor Heinemann's colleagues consider his research to be 'utter flaky nonsense'. And yet a growing number of respectable scientists refuse to write off the possibility that these orbs, which are starting to appear on cameras around the world, just might offer a fascinating glimpse into the unknown. Earlier this year, the world's first conference on orbs took place in Sedona, Arizona, where several scientists controversially stated that they believed orbs were indeed a genuine paranormal phenomenon. Comment: Even I think the number of reports about the "Orb" phenomena is getting ridiculous. Yet, we are at the start of a dramatic escalation of evolutionary energies, our relationship to the invisible spectrum of energies is changing, in new-age speak -- the veil is thinning. Norwegian UFO-mystery solved? Norwegian scientists now believe they are nearing a solution to the Hessdalen UFO-mystery which has puzzled experts for more than 25 years. The Norwegian Post, 18 July 2007 "The so-called Hessdalen lights have been seen ever since the 1940's and have since 1984 been monitored by volunteers. "Hessdalen is a small valley in the central part of Norway. At the end of 1981 through 1984, residents of the Valley became concerned and alarmed about strange, unexplained lights that appeared at many locations throughout the Valley. Hundreds of lights were observed. At the peak of activity there were about 20 reports a week. " "According to the scientists, it is now clear that the phenomen is not UFO-related, but are luminous balls containing some form of energy." Comment: Well, it seems that more scientists are acknowledging that "orbs" are a natural plasma phenomena. I believe there are places on the planet where this energy is extremely active, in the UK there is a place called Golden Ball Hill named because people have been seeing golden balls for hundreds of years. Project Hessdalen website. Aliens Among Us Do we share Earth with alternative life forms? Discover Magazine, 27 June 2007 [...] But what about life as we don’t know it? What if other, completely distinct forms of biology also took root on the early Earth? After all, the swiftness with which life appeared might mean that it could easily do so anytime, anywhere the conditions are right. If so, maybe life arose more than once at different locations on the early Earth. Those other organisms might have their own biochemistry and a separate evolutionary history. They might not even use DNA—they could be, in essence, alien beings that just happened to emerge on the same planet. Which leads to the big question: What if one (or more) of those alternative forms of life is still around? “It could be right under our noses, or even in our noses,” says Paul Davies, the director of BEYOND: The Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science at Arizona State University. Comment: Well isn't it obvious? Look, humans have a limited range of vision, what about lifeforms that live in alternative dimensions OR frequencies of light that we can't see without electronic equipment, that enables us to see in the ultra-violet or infra-red? FOR GOODNESS SAKE, MAINSTREAM NEWSPAPERS ARE TELLING US THAT GOVERNMENTS AND SPACE AGENCIES HAVING BEEN INVESTIGATING PLASMA PHENOMENA FOR DECADES. WE HAVE VIDEO OF MILITARY CHASING ORBS AND PREVIOUSLY TOP SECRET REPORTS TELLING US PILOTS HAVE DIED IN PURSUIT OF PLASMOIDS (MAGNETIC ENTITIES). IT'S TIME WE STARTED TO THINK AND PIECE TOGETHER THE INFORMATION. It's now time for the children to stand aside and the grown-ups to talk! Could we have hitched a ride on UFOs?: Newly released files may put one mystery to bed, but in doing so others are left unanswered The Guardian, Feb 22, 2007 Comment: Here is a long article which is highly relevant to to the Orb phenomena being witnessed around the world. This report concludes with the statement, "UAPs [Unidentified Aerial Phenomena] are real, but caused by strange plasmas, which are on the fringes of scientific understanding". We are also told "Russian, former Soviet republics and Chinese authorities have made a co-ordinated effort to understand the UAP topic. Several aircraft have been destroyed and at least four pilots have been killed 'chasing UFOs'." This mystery can only be unravelled if you spend sufficient time researching, or you buy the book Tuning the Diamonds . Obviously, the British government do not want Joe Public to understand what is going on, or else they would not have lied about the existence of this report for 5 years. By the way, the Russians have made this incredibly important information publicly available in English. Wake up folks, we are NOT alone!
