Mass Extinctions And The Evolution Of Dinosaurs
Science Daily, 30th September 2008

"Dinosaurs survived two mass extinctions and 50 million years before taking over the world and dominating ecosystems, according to new research published this week. Reporting in Biology Letters, Steve Brusatte, Professor Michael Benton, and colleagues at the University of Bristol show that dinosaurs did not proliferate immediately after they originated, but that their rise was a slow and complicated event, and driven by two mass extinctions."
Comment:The question here is; what are the factors that determine whether a species disappears or evolves? Scientific studies suggest, that natural selection is determined by the environment and whether species can contribute to balanced ecosystems. Once a species start to dominate then they are wiped out. Universal consciousness determines which species are to be eliminated and which will be allowed to evolve. It seems strange to me that we can look back on the evolution of life on Earth and fail to pay attention to how well mankind is doing, in relationship to being in balance with the environment.

Search is on for climate change-resistant crops

"LONDON: Thousands of crops, from banana to sweet potato, are being screened to identify varieties that will be most resistant to the future conditions created by climate change. The Global Crop Diversity Trust is providing around US$300,000 (A$375,000) of funding this year for researchers in 15 developing countries to screen crops for traits that will be useful in adapting food production to climate change. The international foundation said that around US$200,000 will also be spent next year, with a continued commitment in the long term."
Comment:This is total common sense research.

Rising Arctic methane threatens efforts to reverse global warming

"Molecule for molecule, methane gas is 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide as a warming agent. However, since methane doesn't stay in the atmosphere as long - around 12 years, on average, compared to a hundred years for CO2 - and human activities do not produce all that much of it, concerns about climate change have mostly been focused on carbon dioxide. The one big worry was that warmer temperatures might cause massive releases of methane from natural sources."
Comment:Another scientist advocating geo-engineering! It amazes me that scientists can identify just one factor and then extrapolate this to create various subjective conclusions. The facts are that we live in an extremely complex eco-system which has proven over billions of years to be able to self-regulate. We are also living in a time of accelerated evolutionary change and many changes are taking place where we are struggling to understand the implications. Therefore, it's up to us to change and adapt, that's the only sensible thing we can do.

Heart patients should be screened for depression

"DALLAS - Heart patients should be regularly screened for signs of depression, the American Heart Association recommended Monday.Depression is about three times more common in heart attack survivors and those hospitalized with heart problems than the general population, according to the recommendations published in the journal Circulation. The authors said only about half of heart doctors say they treat depression in their patients — and not all those diagnosed with depression are treated."
Comment:There is a strong link between depression and the risk of death after a heart attack, see Research finds link between depression . So, it does seem the scientific evidence shows the importance of a balanced head-heart connection.

Gore's Rebellion
Wall Street Journal, 29th September 2008

"Speaking last Wednesday on a celebrity panel in New York, the Nobel Prize Laureate proclaimed: "If you're a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration." He added, "clean coal does not exist.""
Comment:I am stilled shocked by Al Gore's rallying cry of "civil disobedience" and I wonder if he is really that interested in saving the Earth from global warming, or whether his financial investors are breathing down his neck to get things moving along quicker.

Why faith in God really can relieve pain

"For centuries, religious believers have endured suffering with impressive fortitude. Now scientists claim to have discovered that faith in God really can relieve pain. New research at Oxford University has found that the Christian martyrs may well have been able to draw on their religion to reduce the agony of, for example, being burnt at the stake. In a bizarre experiment, academics at The Oxford Centre For Science Of The Mind 'tortured' 12 Roman Catholics and 12 atheists with electric shocks as they studied a painting of the Virgin Mary. They found that the Catholics seemed to be able to block out much of the pain."
Comment:It seems that our scientists can prove that there are real benefits from believing in a higher power.

Back to the Dark Ages: National Grid raises the spectre of blackouts this winter

"Homes could be plunged into darkness this winter as the nation faces the shocking prospect of power cuts. The warning, following the release of grim industry figures yesterday, will dredge up memories of the last electricity crisis in 1974."
Comment:There is a strong likelihood of power cuts caused by solar activity if and when solar cycle 24 starts to ramp up, but this article just explains that the UK's grid infrastructure is suffering from "low capacity" due to lack of investment and environmental constraints. However, we still have no explanation for what happened in May when , "half a million customers were hit by power cuts after a series of unexpected problems at power stations forced the National Grid to conserve supplies." So I have to wonder why there is a reticence to explain what exactly caused that particular shutdown.

Green Churches: Casting Out Demons

"The fashionable new Protestant movement is unquestionably the Green Church, and, of course, it exhibits precisely the same tendencies to factionalism as did the Baptists and other sects. One classic split is painfully exposed today in an article by that arch 'global warming' believer, Mark Lynas ['The green heretic persecuted for his nuclear conversion', The Sunday Times, 'News Review', p.5]. The language reported in this piece is extraordinary, and includes: "conversion"; "Damascene conversion"; "heresy"; "evil"; "believe"; "dogma"; "humility"; "myths"; and "traitor". The only word missing is "apostate". If you ever doubted that the Green movement is really a religion, then think again. The language at its very heart is both confessional and religious. You only need to attend a Green meeting to observe the parallels. There is prophecy, preaching, the confession of sins, conversion narratives, the casting out of demons, denunciations, and, inevitably, the church stall - "Buy your eco-balls here!""
Comment:This article comments on the Times article listed below and clearly reveals why many people believe that environmentalism has become a new religion.

BBC investigated after peer says climate change programme was biased 'one-sided polemic'

"The BBC is being investigated by television watchdogs after a leading climate change sceptic claimed his views were deliberately misrepresented. Lord Monckton, a former adviser to Margaret Thatcher, says he was made to look like a 'potty peer' on a TV programme that 'was a one-sided polemic for the new religion of global warming'."
Comment:Not surprising, this documentary was billed as a definitive answer to The Great Global Warming Swindle, but it seems to have failed miserably. See also BBC2 show ignites contributor row

Credit crunch banker leaps to his death in front of express train
Daily Mail, 26th September 2008

"The City was in shock last night after the apparent suicide of a millionaire financier haunted by the pressures of dealing with the credit crunch. Kirk Stephenson, who was married with an eight-year-old son, died in the path of a 100mph express train at Taplow railway station, Berkshire. Mr Stephenson is believed to have taken his own life after succumbing to mounting personal pressures as the world's financial markets went into meltdown."
Comment:With the current financial crisis, there are likely to be many similar stories. It may even be possible that committing suicide after bad losses has become embedded into the mindset of financiers based on what has happened in previous boom and bust scenarios.

Earth's Magnetic Field Reversals Illuminated By Lava Flows Study

"Earth's north magnetic pole is shifting and weakening. Ancient lava flows are guiding a better understanding of what generates and controls the Earth's magnetic field – and what may drive it to occasionally reverse direction." "A new study of ancient volcanic rocks, reported in the Sept. 26 issue of the journal Science, shows that a second magnetic field source may help determine how and whether the main field reverses direction. This second field, which may originate in the shallow core just below the rocky mantle layer of the Earth, becomes important when the main north-south field weakens, as it does prior to reversing, says Brad Singer." ""Right now, historic records show that the strength of the magnetic field is declining very rapidly. From a quick back-of-the-envelope prediction, in 1,500 years the field will be as weak as it's ever been and we could go into a state of polarity reversal," says Singer. "One broad goal of our research is to provide some predictive capability for what could happen and what could be the signs of the next reversal.""
Comment:Note, there is no detail here of how a second field source would be created within the core and maintain itself long enough to overwhelm the main field.

Witnesses Stunned By UFO Sightings

"UNEXPLAINED lights and flying discs have been spotted in the skies above Cheshunt in recent weeks, according to shocked eyewitnesses. Pengelly Close resident Paul Adams had a shock when he observed a "human being-sized elongated thing" with a pulsing orange light. It was said to be hovering above a garden hedge at around 2.30am on September 14." "The description of the 'close encounter of the third kind' continues: "They were flying much higher than a helicopter flies, and lower than a passenger aircraft, and were very clear, with a luminosity that seemed almost electric."
Comment:As the dimensions continue to merge and it becomes easier to see the assortment of "light entities" around us, I am wondering how or if people will just accept this new reality without much of a quibble. The question is; will the paranormal become normal?

Puzzling Property Of Night-shining Clouds At Edge Of Space Explained

"An explanation for a strange property of noctilucent clouds--thin, wispy clouds hovering at the edge of space at 85 km altitude--has been proposed by an experimental plasma physicist at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), possibly laying to rest a decades-long mystery." "Twenty-five years ago, researchers at Poker Flat, Alaska, discovered that the clouds were highly reflective to radar. This unusual property has long puzzled scientists. Bellan, reporting in the August issue of the Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres, now has an explanation: the ice grains in noctilucent clouds are coated with a thin film of metal, made of sodium and iron. The metal film causes radar waves to reflect off ripples in the cloud in a manner analogous to how X-rays reflect from a crystal lattice."
Comment:Well, if you have read my book, you will know why would be particularly interested in this explanation by a plasma physicist.

Credit Default Swaps: The Insane Problem and the Radical but Sane Solution

"A credit default swap is a form of insurance. A variant of mortgage insurance required of many home purchasers. An insurance policy that requires a company with financial strength to step up to the plate and pay the mortgage if for some reason the home buyer defaults. A credit default swap is similar: If default occurs, an insurance company pays the income stream of the mortgage. With one extremely important difference: Payments are made to the owner of the policy, not to the financial institution that stands to suffer a loss. Financial institutions are allowed, through total lack of regulation, to buy and sell credit default swaps, or insurance they will be paid in event of default, on financial instruments in which they have no financial interest."
Comment:It's amazing to think that this kind of financial instrument is legal. I agree with the writer, it's time to act and make this kind of financial wizardry disappear!

Traffic Cops - Swedish Twins cause mayhem on Motorway

The UK The Sun story: "THIS incredible footage shows a pair of crazy twin sisters dicing with death on the M6. The Swedish blondes were caught on CCTV causing havoc on the motorway. The girls seem to have a death wish as they walk along the central reservation before running amok on the motorway. They are both apprehended by motorway cops but struggle free then run back out into oncoming traffic. One girl is seriously injured after being hit by a lorry and the other is hit by a car - for the second time. They are both eventually detained by a combination of cops and passing motorists."
Comment:Initially, I ignored this story but after seeing links all over the web I eventually watched the video. Absolutely incredible! At times like this I am just amazed by the job the police and emergency services are expected to do. According to the police in the video, these women were high on drugs, but even so, being knocked down by a lorry, going unconscious, waking up and then six people being needed to restrain one of the woman is incredible.

Green-aware people 'key drivers of global warming'

"PEOPLE who believe they have the greenest lifestyles are often the main culprits behind global warming, say researchers who claim that many ideas about sustainable living are a myth. According to the researchers, people who regularly recycle rubbish and save energy at home are the most likely to take frequent long-haul flights. Research leader Stewart Barr, of Exeter University in England, said: "Green living is largely something of a myth. There is this middle-class environmentalism where being green is part of the desired image. But another part of the desired image is to fly off skiing twice a year. And the carbon savings they make by not driving their kids to school will be obliterated by pollution from their flights."
Comment:I find the conclusion here most interesting, "The findings indicate that even those people who appear to be very committed to environmental action find it difficult to transfer these behaviours into more problematic contexts." This finding most certainly agrees with studies that have been able to successfully calibrate the evolution of consciousness, where dealing with greater complexity and integration of information requires a major shift in consciousness.

Epilepsy, Autism, Schizophrenia: Master Switch That 'Balances The Brain' Found

"Neuroscientists at Children's Hospital Boston have identified the first known "master switch" in brain cells to orchestrate the formation and maintenance of inhibitory synapses, essential for proper brain function. The factor, called Npas4, regulates more than 200 genes that act in various ways to calm down over-excited cells, restoring a balance that is thought to go askew in some neurologic disorders."
Comment:Nice to see research that directly supports metaphysical beliefs that the brain has to be 'balanced' for physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.

Environment: The solar wind is slowing, but Al Gore is still spewing hot air. The Oscar winner is promoting civil disobedience to stop energy and economic growth as the first U.S. emissions cap-and-trade program begins

"Speaking before Bill Clinton's Global Initiative, junk science advocate Gore called on young people to take the law into their own hands because the climate, he claims, is a-changin'. He told the gathering in New York City that "the world has lost ground to the climate crisis" and the time for action is now. "If you're a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration," Gore said to loud applause. His comments come two weeks after a British jury acquitted six Greenpeace activists accused of causing property damage at a power plant. The jury felt the "protest" was acceptable because the "protesters" feared the plant would contribute to global warming."
Comment:So Al Gore, has finally gone nuts and is publicly advocating civil disobedience based on the belief that CO2 is causing climate change, where the science can't even support this and we have zero mechanisms in place that can do anything about climate change anyway! Desperation or what?

Talks Implode During a Day of Chaos; Fate of Bailout Plan Remains Unresolved

"WASHINGTON — The day began with an agreement that Washington hoped would end the financial crisis that has gripped the nation. It dissolved into a verbal brawl in the Cabinet Room of the White House, urgent warnings from the president and pleas from a Treasury secretary who knelt before the House speaker and appealed for her support. " In the Roosevelt Room after the session, the Treasury secretary, Henry M. Paulson Jr., literally bent down on one knee as he pleaded with Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker, not to "blow it up" by withdrawing her party's support for the package over what Ms. Pelosi derided as a Republican betrayal. "I didn't know you were Catholic," Ms. Pelosi said, a wry reference to Mr. Paulson's kneeling, according to someone who observed the exchange. She went on: "It's not me blowing this up, it's the Republicans." Mr. Paulson sighed. "I know. I know."
Comment:We have some serious drama at the White House!

Facility set up to stop destructive solar rays

"China has started construction of a facility in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region that can detect solar bursts. Known as the Chinese Spectral Radioheliograph (CSRJ), it will be operated by the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. When completed in 2010, the CSRJ will be able to detect solar flares and forewarn of coronal mass ejections (a plasma consisting primarily of electrons and protons) that can disable satellites and knock out power grids."
Comment:The headline is misleading, all that can be done when we get an explosion on the Sun is to provide various technology operators time to mitigate the damage on Earth, that's all.

Step Back To Move Forward Emotionally, Study Suggests

"When you're upset or depressed, should you analyze your feelings to figure out what's wrong? Or should you just forget about it and move on? New research suggests a solution to these questions and to a related psychological paradox: Pocessing emotions is supposed to facilitate coping, but attempts to understand painful feelings often backfire and perpetuate or strengthen negative moods and emotions." ""We aren't very good at trying to analyze our feelings to make ourselves feel better," said Kross, a faculty associate at the U-M Institute for Social Research (ISR) and an assistant professor of psychology. "It's an invaluable human ability to think about what we do, but reviewing our mistakes over and over, re-experiencing the same negative emotions we felt the first time around, tends to keep us stuck in negativity. It can be very helpful to take a sort of mental time-out, to sit back and try to review the situation from a distance." This approach is widely associated with eastern philosophies such as Buddhism and Taoism, and with practices like Transcendental Meditation. But according to Kross, anyone can do it with a little practice."
Comment:This research tells us that scientists can verify the benefits of methods derived from eastern philosophies such as Buddhism and Taoism, in how we manage the perception of ourselves and emotional events in our lives. I can only agree after 25 years of personal development and self-empowerment, that it is very necessary to develop strategies to view oneself and others in the most enlightened and loving way possible, to avoid the trap of mistaking 'the illusion' for reality.

Large Hadron Collider must hibernate after wrong sort of big bang

"Two weeks ago the world's physicists were all smiles. The most powerful atom smasher to be built had been switched on to global acclaim and scientists were ready to begin experiments that could unlock many of the enduring mysteries of the Universe. They are going to have to wait a little longer. On Friday the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) created the wrong sort of big bang – a fault so serious that CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, announced last night that the particle accelerator would have to be shut down until next spring for repairs."
Comment:The wrong sort of Big Bang! LOL!

Ulysses Reveals Global Solar Wind Plasma Output At 50-Year Low

"WASHINGTON -- Data from the Ulysses spacecraft, a joint NASA-European Space Agency mission, show the sun has reduced its output of solar wind to the lowest levels since accurate readings became available. The sun's current state could reduce the natural shielding that envelops our solar system." ""Galactic cosmic rays carry with them radiation from other parts of our galaxy," said Ed Smith, NASA's Ulysses project scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. "With the solar wind at an all-time low, there is an excellent chance the heliosphere will diminish in size and strength. If that occurs, more galactic cosmic rays will make it into the inner part of our solar system."
Comment:It's official, Earth's shielding against Space Weather is dropping quickly. The New Cosmic Age has arrived! Well, if the Universe was going to take the opportunity to blast our planet with galactic cosmic rays, it seems that our defenses are well and truly down to do anything much about it. When I wrote my book, I was very cautious and only quoted NASA's anxiety about heightened solar activity at 2012 and so I emphasised the combination of solar, cosmic and galactic energy driving evolutionary change on Earth. Now if there is a "surge" of galactic energy or even a galactic superwave coming our way, that would coincide with promised increases in energy x 100,000 year on year from 2007 - 2012.

At this time, I am in a state of awe and jubilation that my understanding that Space Weather, the culmination of solar, cosmic and galactic energy is driving evolutionary change on Earth, is being vindicated over and over again. Now that NASA has taken this unprecedented step in telling the world that EVERY LIVING THING ON THIS PLANET WILL BE SUBJECT TO MORE COSMIC & GALACTIC ENERGY IN THE YEARS AHEAD, I hope more people will start to understand that the resultant will be evolutionary change, as many scientists have claimed has occured in the past, from studying the evidence. Do fly-by anomalies reveal new physics at work?

Subscription only exerpts: "The findings may call into question our understanding of gravity. Could these anomalies yield the first tangible connection between quantum mechanics and relativity, a link that theorists would dearly love to find? Or is there some mysterious, unseen body of matter tugging at our spacecraft? Whatever the answer, these anomalies may compel us to re-examine the forces at work in space." "One extraordinary suggestion for the origin of the anomaly has come from theorist Stephen Adler of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. In an as-yet-unpublished paper, he suggests that the fly-by anomalies are caused by the drag the spacecraft experiences from a cloud of invisible dark matter clumped around the Earth (www.arxiv.org/abs/0805.2895). The clump cannot extend as far as the moon or we would have seen its effect on the moon's orbital motion, and it cannot come too close to the Earth or it would have affected the orbits of artificial satellites. Admittedly, Adler's model appears contrived: his dark matter cloud needs two components orbiting differently in order to explain why some spacecraft increase in speed and others reduce. Even more seriously, it would require a density of dark matter much higher than most astronomers believe is even possible. These very significant constraints notwithstanding, such clumped dark matter would be compatible with an experiment in Gran Sasso, Italy, called DAMA, which is designed to detect the presence of dark matter. The DAMA team claims to show a larger-than-expected amount of dark matter impacting on the Earth, though their result, too, is controversial." "Theorist Karl Svozil at the Vienna University of Technology in Austria has even proposed a laboratory experiment to test the effect. Instead of a rotating planet, he suggests using a massive, spinning stack of magnetic discs to mimic Earth's mass and magnetic field. To imitate the spacecraft, he proposes firing a beam of neutral particles past the stack and measuring its trajectory. According to the known laws of physics, the beam should be unaffected. If it is knocked off course, then new physics is at play. "In principle, the experiment could look for a gravitational and an electromagnetic origin of the fly-by anomaly," says Svozil."
Comment:According to Russian scientific studies if you spin a magnet then torsion fields (subtle energy fields) come into play. As stated in my book, Albert Einstein showed mathematically the existence of a close connection between gravitation and the curvature of space-time and at the same time Elie Cartan was the first to point to the possibility of the existence of fields generated by the spin angular momentum density. These ideas became known as Einstein-Cartan theory or ECT in 1913. In 1991, Gennady Shipov showed that the violation of Newton's Laws by gyroscopic systems was caused by the appearance of torsion fields generated by spinning mass. These fields were calculated to be 30 orders of magnitude less than gravitation and so were dismissed by Einstein as irrelevant, but it seems that when it comes to space probe planetary fly-bys, it's enough to be noticed. Still, I can't understand why these scientists are struggling, because it is KNOWN physics identified by experiment and by 1996 there were over 10,000 papers in existence.

Fast [Climate changes in the past]? Try The Younger Dryas

Quote given from a brilliant new review published recently in the scientific journal, Progress in Physical Geography [see: G. M. MacDonald et al.: 'Impacts of climate change on species, populations and communities: palaeobiogeographical insights and frontiers', Progress in Physical Geography 32(2) (2008), pp. 139 - 172: DOI: 10.1177/0309133308094081. "Some shifts in climate may have been gradual, but events such as the YDE ['Younger Dryas Event'] or the MCA ['Medieval Climate Anomaly'] and the LIA ['Little Ice Age'] were much more rapid. Responses to climate change have included changes in geographical distributions, shifts in community composition and extinction. Species which are extant today have in the past been organized into communities that have no modern counterparts. Regional bio-diversity has seen marked changes in response to shifts in climate. In addition to these ecological responses, which are expected in the case of large-scale habitat changes and climate warming, there is also evidence that species have responded with genotypic and phenotypic shifts in the face of Quaternary climatic change. Such evolutionary responses should also be anticipated in the future."
Comment:These scientists are telling us that abrupt climate changes have happened in the past and the evidence shows that species have responded by rapid evolutionary change. Guess what? It's about to happen again and the inhabitants of Earth are largely unprepared because this time, the bar is being reset to facilitate a higher level of consciousness. This helps to explain why there is so much panic in certain quarters, because it will be change that will be impossible to control.

Solar Wind Loses Power, Hits 50-year Low

Summary: "In a briefing today at NASA headquarters, solar physicists announced that the solar wind is losing power. "The average pressure of the solar wind has dropped more than 20% since the mid-1990s," says Dave McComas of the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas. "This is the weakest it's been since we began monitoring solar wind almost 50 years ago." ....Curiously, the speed of the million mph solar wind hasn't decreased much—only 3%. The change in pressure comes mainly from reductions in temperature and density. The solar wind is 13% cooler and 20% less dense. "What we're seeing is a long term trend, a steady decrease in pressure that began sometime in the mid-1990s," explains Arik Posner, NASA's Ulysses Program Scientist in Washington DC. ...."The solar wind isn't inflating the heliosphere as much as it used to," says McComas. "That means less shielding against cosmic rays." In addition to weakened solar wind, "Ulysses also finds that the sun's underlying magnetic field has weakened by more than 30% since the mid-1990s," says Posner. Comment:Hmmmmm... The corporate world should take heed as I don't think this kind of worker retribution will be restricted to only certain parts of the world. At the other end of the spectrum we have the current massive failure on Wall Street and still the big financial bosses are giving themselves massive bonuses, see Fury at $2.5bn bonus for Lehman's New York staff, this has happened whilst UK Lehman staff don't know for long they will get their basic salary and financial customers don't know what has happened to their investments. Sparks caused when a front tyre disintegrated and the wheel dug into the road, ignited brake fluid in her engine and set the vehicle alight. The victim was so overcome with anger she refused to get out of her burning car and even threatened a would-be rescuer who tried to persuade her."
Comment:Obviously this is a case of extreme imbalance and sadly this woman did have a history of erratic behaviour and suffered from bipolar disorder. Yet, in these environmental conditions, if we allow our emotions to swing us into a state of extreme imbalance it's possible to get stuck and the consequences can be fatal.

Comment:The big question has to be; Is this "surge of high-energy particles from the heart of the Milky Way, Earth's home galaxy" coming our way? We now have a "dead" sun with a 50 year low for the solar wind speed and density and it's not going to act as much of an impediment..... It would be interesting to find out how close by the space probe Pamela is for it to detect these particles whistling by.... If you have read my book, you will understand the significance of these questions.... Update This press release is deliberately vague, but I wonder if it can be linked to information given to Mitch Batros (http://www.earthchangesmedia.com/) by a german astronomer over two years ago that a galactic outburst was on it's way. Hence, it will only appear "like a thief in the night", but I assure you, if anything big hits this planet, it will have been tracked for years.

Comment:The writer paints a very depressing scenario as we are told this is "the financial crisis of the century". The amazing thing is that this financial hocus pocus was obviously unsustainable, but the poor taxpayers are now being expected to bail out the "financial wizards". Incredible!

Comment:Well, we are at the very darkest before the dawn, I am just hoping that the massive energy drops, will sort out the wheat from the chaff as quickly and efficienctly as possible.

Comment:It has been a known FACT that brain tumour is now the number one life-threatening disease for children -- above leukaemia and that the 40 per cent across-the-board increase in the number of brain tumours in the past 20 years coincides with the use of mobile phones and other radio frequencies.

Sun Warms and Cools the Earth

Not surprisingly the op-ed evoked a strong reaction from Polish co-workers of IPCC, denying the existence of cooling. Surprising, however, was that the criticism dwelled upon a "global climatic conspiracy", and "colossal international plot". I did not use these words nor even hinted at such an idea. The idea was probably apparent from the data and facts I presented, showing weaknesses of the man-made global warming hypothesis. Without irrational political or ideological factors, it is really difficult to understand why so many people believe in human causation of the Modern Warm Period, which was never plausibly proved by scientific evidence. Some of these factors I will discuss here."
Comment:This is an opinion piece by Dr Zbigniew Jaworowski, a polish scientist of some repute who provides the shocking political rationale behind forcing people to believe and take action on global warming, despite the data that suggests we are entering a cooling phase caused by the Sun and cosmic factors.

A Knot of Light

Comment:I disagree this is new science, as other scientists have found alternative solutions to Maxwell's equations and their work has been ignored. Whatever, this suggests that scientists have a theoretical solution for "magnetic entities", independent light entities made up of plasma.

Comment:At least the people behind this project realise that they have to at try and prepare in some way for the future of mankinds's existence on this planet. Please note the sentiment, "If we are wise enough to conserve these collections, we will have a treasure chest of the very traits that crops used in the past when they successfully adapted to new conditions - the traits they will need again in the future to adapt as climates and environments change." I do hope that this is their true intentions.

Large Hadron Collider to be turned off for two months following damage

Comment:I am sure many CERN scientists are very disappointed but opponents will be sighing from relief.

Comment:I find the conclusion to this article fascinating, as these experts are clearly stumped by this survey, "Randall Balmer, chairman of the religion department at New York's Barnard College, says that the Baylor angel figures are one in a periodic series of indications that "Americans live in an enchanted world," and engage in a kind of casual mysticism independent of established religious ritual, doctrine or theology. "There is," he says, a "much broader uncharted range of religious experience among the populace than we expect." Comment:I have been reading articles that the whole derivatives market and US banking is headed for a meltdown for years. For many this is NO surprise. Note the comments from the well respected billionaire investor Warren Buffett who called derivatives "weapons of financial mass destruction." Comment:Well, the evidence to support fully support Darwin's THEORY of evolution is quite tenuous in places, see Some Surprising Facts About Evolution and so many evolutionary biologists believe in "punctuated equilibria". In my research, I have found that the scientific EVIDENCE supports evolutionary change to be determined by celestial forces. I suppose it's a matter of interpretation, but the Catholic Church obviously feels that for whatever reason, understanding the most POPULAR THEORY of evolution is of critical importance now. Personally, I think we are living in an amazing time when we will see many random DNA mutations and new species appearing in a blink of an eye. Quite frankly, the concept of DNA genetic blueprints being held in the environment (FACT) and an influx of cosmic rays changing those blueprints, explains why scientists have NEVER been able to find many "missing links". Quite straight forward really.....

Comment:Paired electrons are normally associated with the Superconducting state, normally only seen at very low temperatures. So it's really easy to see why these scientists suggest there is a major impact on our understanding of how the Earth conducts heat and electricity and our understanding of the propagation of the Earth's magnetic field from the core.

Comment:It is apparent that we have a war of ideology between those that who want to believe that the Earth is totally isolated in space and those who believe that our climate is driven by celestial forces. The comparison has to be made with those who once believed that the world was flat and those who believed that the Earth was the centre of the Universe....

Sloan added: "There is no mention of evolution in the Catechism [the official teaching document of the Roman Catholic Church]; people don’t even know where we stand on it." He claimed that the March meeting was so important that organisers foresee that it will "change the dialogue between the Catholic Church and the world of science.""
Comment:I think something is up! The Catholic Church has decided to get their act together over their beliefs in evolution. Does this mean that they have been tipped off that something major is happening? The real question is, why now?
Update 18th September I suppose cats morphing in China and within a fortnight, the Anglican and Catholic Church making abrupt statements on evolution has to be a coincidence, right? Quite frankly, I am more interested in the position of the Catholic Church because historically, these guys understand how to wield power and they obviously realise they are going to be facing a major issue with the ENERGY DRIVEN RAPID EVOLUTIONARY CHANGE now gripping the planet.

Comment:It will be really interesting to see what happens in the future when so many Enron-style business practices have prevailed. So far, the greening of the business world seems to be more about exploiting a real trend in the evolution of consciousness. Arctic Sea Ice Melt Season Officially Over; ice up over 9% from last year

Comment:The Global Warmers have been trying to hide their disappointment that the Artic Ice has failed to support their dire predictions despite increased atmospheric carbon dioxide emission and accumulation. Oh dear!

Dark matter 'bridge to nowhere' found in cosmic void

"More than a dozen galaxies seem to be lined up along a bridge of dark matter inside a region of nearly empty space. This 'bridge to nowhere' could shed light on how small galaxies formed in the early universe. Galaxies in the universe are arranged in a lacy structure that contains many holes, or voids, that are largely bereft of galaxies. But the voids are not completely empty; astronomers expect they are criss-crossed by filaments of dark matter. Now, astronomers have found a total of 14 galaxies that appear to be part of a dark matter bridge at least 1.5 million light years long."
Comment:More evidence that we live in a plasma universe where galaxies are strung out in filaments of cosmic string in dark mode, as opposed to the smooth heterogenous universe predicted by Big Bang theory.

Now, according to a recent paper published in the prestigious science journal Nature, GRBs are said to be the "scream" from a black hole's birth. The SWIFT satellite's Burst Alert Telescope first saw GRB 080319 on March 19, 2008. The optical component accompanying the beam of gamma radiation was so intense that it could have been seen by anyone looking up at that exact point in the sky, even without a telescope, despite calculations that indicate it was over 7 billion light-years away!"
Comment:Metaphysical sources have been telling us that Gamma Ray Bursts are headed our way. The fact that this recent burst is so massive that it could be seen with the naked eye is incredible. I don't want to get caught up in the debate of how or when these GRBs are triggered, I just want to point out that these massive blasts are part of an orchestrated effort to push our planet into the next phase of our evolution. The EM grids of our planet have been set to allow for this energy to be used to provide the energy for massive change, but they will not be catastrophic. As one astronaut suggested as a possibility, our planet is being "re-booted".

"In the experiment reported in Science, the scientists cooled a single crystal of CeCoIn5, a metal compound consisting of cerium, cobalt and indium, to a temperature of minus 273.1 degrees, close to absolute zero. To their great surprise, they discovered that magnetism and superconductivity coexist and disappear at the same time when they heat the sample or increase the magnetic field. This discovery is extraordinary, since magnetic order exists exclusively when this sample is in the superconducting state. In this unique case, magnetism and superconductivity do not compete with each other. Instead, superconductivity generates magnetic order."
Comment:The theory surrounding superconductivity and magnetism is complex and this discovery only serves to provide some additional insight. However, from my understanding of the metaphysical implications, humans have the ability to attract particles of light that have superconducting properties. When these build up to a certain level, then a fully fledged Meissner field will be established which then acts as a shield only allowing 'beneficial' frequencies of light that will enable our DNA to code efficiently. I have suggested particles because that is what I have seen when working to help build up people's energy fields, see Tuning the Diamonds: Electromagnetism & Spiritual Evolution for more details. Whatever, this article suggests that the superconductivity of certain elements also induces magnetic order which again can be related to the concept of "Signal Power" explained in my book.

How not to measure temperature, part 71: NOAA neglect of volunteer observers

The lack of guidance and QC on the part of NOAA is stunning. The station itself is even more troubling. I don't blame the observer, but NOAA clearly failed this observer and the science mission to collect climate data."
Comment:If you are confused by the pictures, the first picture is taken around the back of the house which is like a mini-junkyard and the Stevenson screen is raised up and obscured by an overhanging tree. The 2nd picture is taken from the front of the house where the Stevenson screen is clearly visible but obviously still surrounded by overhanging trees. This is another example of why NOAA have lost any credibility for their temperature measurements (daily and monthly records of basic meteorological variables) received from their official climate stations as part US Historical Climatological Network.

Once carbon dioxide is emitted by the burning of fossil fuels, it can't be recalled. Estimates of how long it lasts in the atmosphere range up to 200 years. For other greenhouse gases, it's up to thousands of years. Current theory on how long we have to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions before triggering potentially devastating climate change is about 50 years. Given that, the argument you can eliminate the harm caused by cumulative carbon emissions today by paying a third party to theoretically lower them tomorrow, is both absurd and irrelevant."
Comment:Well actually, if you put it like that, it does sound like a good idea! LOL!! Seriously, I realised that carbon offsetting was a complete joke when I found out that the founder of Greenpeace had set up a website that allowed people to buy carbon credits to offset their pets flatutlence. It is quite clear to me that carbon offsetting is along the lines of many stock market manias like investing in tulip bulbs in the 1630s, or the South sea Bubble in 1720s or more recently investing in any internet company at the time of the dot-com boom. If you are interested in what's really happening, I recommend the book 'Devil Take The Hindmost: A History of Financial Speculation', because this is history repeating itself, over and over again.

Climate change chicanery

"Recent events have seen the scare campaign over global warming descend to the level of a Monty Python sketch. Much publicity was given, for instance, to Lewis Gordon Pugh, who set out to paddle a kayak to the Pole to demonstrate the vanishing of the Arctic ice. At 80.5 degrees north, still 600 miles short of his goal, he met with ice so thick that he and his fossil-fuelled support ship had to turn back. But this did not prevent him receiving a congratulatory call from Gordon Brown, nor boasting that he had travelled "further north than anyone has kayaked so far". It took the admirable Watts Up With That blog, run by the American meteorologist Anthony Watts, to point out that in 1893 the Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen found the Arctic so ice-free that he was able to kayak above 82 degrees north, 100 miles nearer the Pole than our hapless campaigner against "unprecedented global warming"."
Comment:I am really proud of the scientists fighting for the real truth behind climate change. In this article, the writer highlights the infamous "hocky-stick" computer modelling fraud to manipulate climate data, so instead of the computer programme algorithm it's now an "al-gore-ithm". Quite hilarious really.....

Comment:This long document was written by Lord Monckton who once advised the ex-British Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher on scientific fraud. Lord Monckton is refusing to be quiet on the fraudulent nature of the "Hockey Stick" graph used to persuade the world's policy makers and the general public. My aim in citing these kind of articles is to interpret on a day by day basis some of the information going into the mainstream and alternative media, that seeks to either inform or mislead. I believe understanding why there is such heated scientific debate, helps us to see why some scientists cite the recently identified phenomena of Space Weather, as the true cause of climate change.

Comment:Sun watchers are now playing the game of 'Spot the sunspot!'. In the response to this blog entry, there is a very interesting historical perspective of sunspot accouning given by Leif Svalgaard (09:22:25). We can see from this synopsis that counting sunspots has always been a rather abitrary affair. Nevertheless, whether officials are counting 'specks' are not is irrelevant, the Sun's apparent lack of activity has now become of intense interest. Update: There was a small Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) on the 12th September, see NASA coronagraph video at Joyfire Spaceweather Explorer, which goes to show that sunspots are not the only indicator of solar activity.

Something is just not right and I think this 9th September article gives us some clues as to what is happening here. The writer even states, "But Ike did not behave according to plan......" Hackers claim there's a black hole in the atom smashers' computer network

The hackers gained access to a website open to other scientists on Wednesday as the LHC passed its first test, sending its protons off on their dizzying journey through time and space, close to the speed of light."
Comment:This is starting to seem like a circus, as we read, "Many countries will send their heads of state or government to the event: President Sarkozy of France, President Couchepin of Switzerland and President Köhler of Germany have the date in their diaries, and either President Medvedev of Russia or Vladimir Putin may attend. The British Prime Minister, however, has apparently decided to skip the opportunity to be publicly associated with black holes."

Comment:The world has certainly changed! This reminds me of the 70s sitcom TV character 'Citizen Smith' who use to mutter under his breath Come the revolution. THE WORLD BANK URGES A NEW GREEN REVOLUTION

She warns the world "dropped the ball" on agricultural science after the Green Revolution saved a billion people from starvation and preserved 16 million square miles of forest from being plowed for more low-yield crops. We are delighted that Ms. Sierra now agrees with us—that the world faces its biggest-ever food production challenge in the next 40 years—but global warming doesn't seem to have much to do with it. World temperatures today are just about the same level as 100 years ago.

Comment:Well, the opposition to global warming "taxation" is strengthening and a few more cold winters north and south of the equator should make a huge difference to public opinion.

German churches repent for green sins in bid to cut carbon footprint

As Germany's Christian churches go green, Sunday service is becoming chillier and darker. Shocked by the revelation that church buildings are responsible for an annual 18 million tonnes of carbon emissions — about 3 per cent of the energy-related total in Germany — religious leaders are cracking down on prodigal parishes. Churches that achieve a big reduction in their carbon footprint receive a special label of approval, the so-called Green Cockerel. Vicars have already begun proudly displaying the symbol in the hope that it will attract environmentally sensitive worshippers.
Comment:It seems various Church organisations wish to replace God with the environment so that people are sinning against the environment rather than God. So as the environmental chaos deepens and our world is transformed, I suppose people will be blamed for their transgressions. Oh wait a minute, isn't this 'environmental sinning' called anthropogenic (man-made) global warming.....

Comment:I think we are still waiting for the particle head on collisions that create the black holes, so I think this article is a bit premature, but yes, so far so good. In my own experience, when I was an enthusiastic young church goer at about age 15, I was told that the world would end in 1985. At that time, I was distinctly not impressed and refused to believe what I was being told. The next major doomsday predictions are expected to culminate in 2012 but already world catastrophes are not happening on the predicted scales. Moreover, what's rather more embarrassing for the 'doom and gloom brigade' is that we are getting MAJOR new phenomena like 'diamond rain' and the whole orb phenonemena. We are seeing rapid evolutionary change instead and that's because the energy deluge that we are experiencing now, that some feared would destroy us, is being used to boot us up to the next level of evolution. Yes, there are natural disasters, but we are not experiencing worldwide catastrophe and humanity will survive and transform instead. "We at the Almanac are among those who believe that sunspot cycles and their effects on oceans correlate with climate changes," writes meteorologist and climatologist Joseph D'Aleo. "Studying these and other factor suggests that cold, not warm, climate may be our future.""
Comment:The highly successful Old Farmer's Almanac only sells because it's rate of accuracy is so high. Meteorologists and other climate scientists have traditionally ignored the role of the Sun which seems strange when ALL LIFE ON EARTH is dependent on the Sun for sustenance.

Prickly blonde is a rare find

"The hedgehog... is one of a very small number of blonde hedgehogs to be found in the UK. Their unusual colouring, caused by a rare recessive gene, means blonde hedgehogs have little chance of survival in the wild. Their conspicuous coats often prove attractive to predators such as foxes, badgers and dogs."
Comment:Lovely! Evolutionary change means increasing complexity and variety so what may be considered as a rarity could become more common. DNA genes are controlled by the environment and that is now in a state of flux.

Multibillion-dollar collider to probe nature's mysteries

A study released Friday by CERN scientists explains that any black hole created would be tiny, and would not have enough energy to stick around very long before dissolving. .... John Huth, who works on the collider's ATLAS experiment, called such fears "baloney" in a recent interview, and noted that in normal physics, even if the black hole were stable, it could just pass through the Earth without being detected or without interacting at all. "The gravitational force is so weak that you'd have to wait many, many, many, many, many lifetimes of the universe before one of these things could [get] big enough to even get close to being a problem," said Huth, professor of physics at Harvard University." Comment: "TINY" BLACK HOLES REDEFINE HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS!!!!! So, there are people terrfied that the world will disappear through the creation of a black hole that traditionally "sucks" everything into itself from the local vicinity, yet these scientists are telling us that these "tiny" black holes wouldn't have enough energy to have ANY effect on their surroundings and would "dissolve". Most people are under the impression that black holes are "a pinpoint with infinite density. The gravitational field near these so-called "singularities" is so strong nothing can escape, including light. This zone of intense gravity is called a black hole, which is typically about 60 kilometres wide, although some black holes are much larger.". I think these scientists now have a credibility issue.

Comment:From personal observation, it seems humans can get addicted to anything and the problem is more related to our genes. Isn't this what religious groups refer to as 'the fall' and spiritual evolution is about restoring man to his state of perfection with DNA to match?

Comment:I think this game is highly symbolic and teaches us that we can control and influence our own evolutionary destiny. It may seem strange, but the consciousness of humanity is a collective, how this morphogenetic field get "updated" is up to our imagination.

The largest X-rated flares occured in 2003 and even recently in December 2006, over 2 days we had the biggest burst of electromagnetic energy in 30 years. Comment:"Not convinced? Well back in April the UK Met Office, one of the shrillest of global warming outfits, issued a forecast for summer 2008. It declared, 'the risk of exceptional rainfall, as seen last summer, is assessed as very low'. These are the folk who claim to tell you what the climate will be like 100 years from now."

Comment:The only reason this short 10 minute video is linked is because a metaphysical sources have told us of the return of "dragon energy". As the video states, mythology from all over the world can now be understood in the terms of plasma cosmology, but I believe vague metaphysical ideas can also be given some substance too.

Blossom Goodchild’s Predicted Mass UFO Sighting: Will it Force Disclosure to Occur?

Comment:I'm agog! Sorry, could not resist this one, my reason? Well, we have scientists after scientists and even ex-astronauts telling the world the UFOs exist. For goodness sake, even the Vatican are getting in on the act! Believe me, I was totally amazed when the Canadian ex-minister for Defence, stated that they should use alien technology to fight global warming! Anyway, I don't know what the motives are here and if it does happen, whether it would be a totally staged event. So if you want to know more, I'm sure there are other websites giving chapter and verse on what this could all mean.

BLACKOUT BRITAIN WARNING

"If we pull our finger out now we can limit blackouts but it's going to be pretty grim whatever happens.""
Comment:Well, if you have read my book and followed NASA's predictions that solar activity will effect national power grids and have noted that US military families have been told to stockpile (I suspect other nations have done the same) and then have understood the historical impact that sunspot activity can have on the human psyche, then the following report may seem like some have decided to take advantage of the situation and profit from the ensuing chaos. However, I am firm believer in the power of the human spirit and it's now time for people to take matters into their own hands. Inventions for taking energy direct from the aether exist, it's up to folks to organise themselves and to not to rely on governments or 'world controllers' who really don't have our best interests at heart.Update I have made this the top story in the hope that some seeing this article will seriously consider the impact of a flaring Sun on our technological world. In my book, I dispassionately outlined the impact of Space Weather on satellites and national power grids. After I published my book in September 2006, the world was soon after blasted with the biggest outburst of electromagnetic snergy in 30 years, this occurred on the 5/6th December 2006. We only know this because the Russians are very keen to keep the world informed of what is going on. I had to hunt down more information that I eventually found weeks later that told us the effect on GPS was ten times greater than ever experienced before. Now, GPS is used for coordinating clocks, if GPS fails or is seriously disrupted in the future, you will NOT even be able to get money from a cash machine. When I lived in Norway, when there was a power cut, apparently banks could not even close the doors because the doors were controlled electronically. I could go on and on, but I wonder if anyone cares.... Anyway, I suppose there is such overwhelming trust in governments and authorities, that all those archetypal 'Hyacinth Bouquets' in the UK, would not believe that in an emergency people will be left to fend for themselves. What they don't seem to understand is that 'controllers' don't know what will happen and they don't want to rock the boat too much because they still wish to maintain a semblance of control. This article fulfills a government obligation to inform 'the people' of what might take place, but I wonder just what percentage of the population would consider any kind of preparation.

Cloud -seeding ships could combat climate change

According to the article, these ships 'would be powered by the wind, but would not use conventional sails. Instead they would be fitted with a number of 20 meter high, 2.5 meter diameter cylinders known as Flettner rotors. The researchers estimate that such ships would cost between £1m and £2m each. This translates to a US dollars cost of $2.65 to 5.3 billion for the ships only.'"
Comment:It's really easy to dismiss these geoengineering ideas as global warming hysteria and attempts at fleecing money from the public purse. However, if you have read my book, you will know that our planet has moved into a region of space where there is a highspeed delivery system for energies from the galactic centre. The planet is being hammered and the result is evolutionary change. The 'weather planes' are just not achieving very much and I suspect HAARP has been a failure, no proof there just pure speculation, but before you dismiss this idea, take a damn good look at the patent formation...... It should be fairly obvious that this CHANGE is not welcome hence the panic, but metaphysical sources tell us that the WHOLE PLANET is being transformed. Hence we have many interested onlookers parked up in the aethers watching this most amazing galactic spectacle. Meanwhile, the vast majority of humans are totally unaware of what is taking place on this planet and have no clue that ONE EVENTUAL OUTCOME will be A NEW TYPE OF HUMAN.

Comment:Personally, I am more interested in the rumoured underground cities all over the world, the real question is why do they exist? I have now satisfied myself that the threat of nuclear war, was just only that, 'a threat' and it served the purpose of keeping people terrified. Research exists that informs us that in a nuclear war, the enemy would know EXACTLY when the next detonation would take place, it's really not about pressing a button, the devastation incurred would be completely pointless, so we need another explanation for underground cities. Well, HISTORY tells us that world 'controllers' have ZERO control over celestial forces and that explains why telescope after telescope and space probe after space probe is being ejected into space to watch out for anything that could effect life on Earth. I mean, even the Vatican built a state of the art observatory in Arizona to watch comet Hale Bopp in the 1990s. So, I would like to suggest that our wonderful leaders have prepared for disaster, based on previous Earth cycles. If you are not convinced, then you need to do some research based on historical/geological evidence of Earth catastrophe. My opinion is that at this time, humanity has escaped complete disaster, but world 'controllers' are still living under their own self-perpetuated fear. For the sceptics, how else could Donald Rumsfeld announce in 2001 that the Pentagon could not account for 2.3 trillion dollars and nobody bat an eyelid?

Evidence is against fluoridation

This entry is for those who suspect that tremendous efforts are taken to keep the populace stupid, see previous entry about fluoridation. Waking up means realising that we have to constantly discern truth from lies, one CIA operative near death told his family that everything that you thought you knew is a lie. I think it's quite possible to 'know' the truth through intuition, but I prefer to also look for evidence to support my understanding and this requires hard work and committment. Most people just don't have the energy or resources to do this, others are just too fearful of having different views from the crowd.

Comment:I have not been over to the Enterprisemission website for a while, so I was pleased to see this report which ends with some fighting talk, "At some point, modern physicists will just have to face the unpleasant reality – Einstein was wrong about the aether; and Maxwell's original "hyperdimensional physics/aether model" was right."

Pupils taught how to be happy

"The weather is grim, the economy is in a mess, but ministers believe that they can restore the feelgood factor – by teaching children how to look on the bright side of life. The government is backing a new project designed to "immunise" youngsters from getting the blues by educating them in the art of happiness at a young age. In a programme imported from the United States, 11- year-olds are to be taught how to shrug off setbacks and banish pessimistic thoughts, helping them to cope with whatever life throws at them."
Comment:I am quite amazed! I also think they should include telling these kids to switch off the TV and that would instantly cut out a lot of negative influence.

"It’s been five months since the widely remarked upon paper, Testing the proposed causal link between cosmic rays and cloud cover, by Sloan and Wolfendale, was published in the journal Environmental Research Letters. In that short time this paper has been enshrined in the hall of fame of anthropogenic global warming dogma. The thing that makes this paper a favorite of the climate change alarmists is its purported proof that there is no possible significant relationship between galactic cosmic ray flux, as modulated by the sun’s magnetic field and climate change. This is important to the alarmists, because anything that might even partially exonerate CO2 must be stifled. I spent many long hours deciphering this paper after several acquaintances alerted me of its conclusion. I was dismayed to find out, after my careful study, that none of these acquaintances had ever actually read the paper! I don’t know why this surprised me, they were simply victims of the global warming echo chamber. Some of them read articles in the popular press or in web blogs that cited this paper and uncritically repeated its conclusions. But are the conclusions that Sloan and Wolfendale based on the study of Forbush decreases (see below) correct? Simply put, No."
Comment:For most people, the above quote is enough information, but the discussion should be of interest to mathematicians and statisticians. It seems that this is another example of how major truths are being obscured by data manipulation. So as the saying goes, 'There are lies, damn lies and then there are statistics'.

Geomagnetic field: when will compass fail?

Comment:Well, I think we are already seeing the effects of a weak magnetic field and evolutionary biologists agree that we are seeing the greatest rate of species extinction in 65 million years as well as rapid evolutionary change sometimes in decades. I am looking forward to the results of any serious scientific study as to what is going on in China, because many of the strangest reports that might be clear examples of DNA mutations, orginate there.

Comment:It's interesting that people are so fearful that they are taking matters into their own hands and trying to stop these scientists. If something does go wrong we just have to hope it will be localised, and that it's only the egos of these scientists that are bruised. More interestingly, I can't believe I missed the YouTube Large Hadron Rap, it's got over a million hits too! I note that some have complained that it "cheapens the science and dumbs it down". Personally, I am amazed that someone has successfully made this particle science even vaguely interesting... Comment:It's amazing that scientists would call parts of the human genome that they didn't understand junk in the first place....

A fourth storm, Ike, was gathering force in the Atlantic and could strike next week."
Comment:Apparently, the electrical conditions in our solar system do not merit this surge of "instant hurricanes" lining up one after another defying standard theory. What's even more suspicious, is that the weather men seem to know EXACTLY in which direction they are headed. Well at least New Orleans was largely spared and this time efforts weren't made to 'blow' the levees. Maybe there is too many people watching this time. Maybe we can be grateful for Google Earth.

Experts offer scaled-back sea level rise forecast

They examined scenarios for loss of ice from Greenland, Antarctica and the world's smaller glaciers and ice caps into the world's oceans, as well as ocean expansion simply due to rising water temperatures."
Comment:Yet, environmental campaigners like freelance journalist Oliver Tickell are still making claims for 70-80 metres of sea level rise in the long term which is decidely vague. He later clarified this by stating the higher figure of 100m of sea level rise has previously been reached on this planet 100 and 40 million years ago. His logic is that, "It has happened before, and it could happen again." Well, this planet has been here for billions of years and has seen much trauma and change, realistically we can only try to guage the immediate future and this is what these scientists have tried to do without scare mongering. UpdateDr. Robert Giegengack of the University of Pennsylvania has rejected fears of even a catastrophic 20 foot sea level rise. He states, "At the present rate of sea-level rise it's going to take 3,500 years to get up there (to a rise of 20 feet). So if for some reason this warming process that melts ice is cutting loose and accelerating, sea level doesn’t know it. And sea level, we think, is the best indicator of global warming,". Giegengack comments are according to a February 2007 article in Philadelphia Magazine.

UK: 'Massive Fireball' caught on camera above Bradford

"A Bradford man has described the moment he saw a UFO in the skies above his home. Richard Ing, of Westminster Avenue, Clayton, said he watched in amazement from the balcony of his house as it passed over Bradford city centre, Clayton and off towards Denholme. The 40-year-old printer said: "There were eight of us who saw it – four adults and four children. "We are all sensible people and were amazed by what we saw. "It was a massive fireball half the size of an aeroplane."
Comment:The most hilarious UFO sighting recently has to be the one over Tescos, see the later 6th September report "UFO" captured on camera over Purley Cross Tesco. UFO expert Nick Pope, who previously worked for the Ministry of Defence, stated "Given the sheer number of sightings we've seen this summer and the unprecedented number of photos and videos, it's time for a full public inquiry." I tend to focus on what appears to be the orbs being sighted all over the UK at the moment and I have to wonder why specifically the UK, because I don't know of a good reason, accept for the fact that the country may need a serious refresh of energy. Anyway, unless I obtain information that tells me different, I believe that our whole planet is experiencing a massive refresh of energy, literally like you would wipe a hard disk and start again. This means that there is a lot of traffic with plasma "magnetic entities" literally 'information carriers' moving in and out of our atmosphere and the ground we walk on. It's pure energy and intelligent. There is absolutely nothing that anyone can do because we are dealing with Universal Intelligence and it does not obey human laws. Incoming energy is working with our planet according to cosmic cycles and laws, hence we have a ringside seat, watching the transformation of our planet. Personally, I am absolutely amazed and feel very priviledged to watch this taking place.

Excited villagers pelted each other with snowballs while some ate pieces of the icy sheet that formed over an entire hillside. "We thought a big white sheet had been spread, so we decided to come and see for ourselves. We thought that it was Jesus who had come back," one villager told reporters.
Comment:Well, it most have been one hail of a storm, "More than 12 hours after the storm, the forested hillside was still white despite the hot tropical sun." The BBC story has other interesting details like it was 4 inches deep and looked like stone. Hmmmm....

Global cooling? An inconvenient truth

Comment:Apparently, it's been really cold downunder. I can just imagine some die-hard environmentalists must be reeling at the moment with what appears to be a sudden flip-flop on the scientific perspective. Well, the farming community are not impressed, hence the view, "This is a twisting charade and no mistake." LOL!!

Weather data to help monitoring for nuclear tests

Full report: "Weather data will help scan for nuclear tests and explosions under a tracking system unveiled on Monday by the U.N. weather agency and the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO). Cross-checked with other verification tools, the technique "allows for a much more accurate location of a potential nuclear explosion," the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) said in a statement. "With the contribution of WMO's high-quality global meteorological data, CTBTO will be able to considerably improve its calculations for radioactive particles," it added.
Comment:Now if you have read Bruce Cathie's research and understood it, then you may agree with me that this article is suggesting that scientists are also trying to track NATURAL nuclear explosions!!!!!! I think the give away is the statement, "the technique "allows for a much more accurate location of a potential nuclear explosion", but at the same time tell us the system is tracking radioactive particles from an explosion that has already occurred!! Very interesting.....

Global warming's toasty water connection to Gustav

In the past four years, Hurricanes Gustav and Katrina, and six other storms have reached Category 4 or higher with sustained winds of at least 131 mph, according to research at Georgia Tech. Six scientists contacted by The Associated Press on Sunday said this shows some effect of global warming, but they differ on the size of the effect. "We are just seeing a lot more Categories 4 and 5 globally than we have ever seen," said Judith Curry, chairman of Earth and atmospheric sciences at Georgia Tech. "The years 2004, 2005 and 2007 are quite high. We're just seeing more and more.""
Comment:Of course this article is the typical, 'let's just blame it all on global warming even though the evidence is a bit patchy....'. The problem I would like to point out is that there is now a HUGE electrojet fueling the hurricanes when the electrical conditions in our solar system are such that energy is funnelled down from the magnetopshere into the ionosphere acting as a triggering mechanism. Warm water has little to do with it as the continent to continent heatwave in 2006 categorically proved and NOAA predictions for tropical storms and hurricanes were hopelessly wrong.

Sun Makes History: First Spotless Month in a Century

The event is significant as many climatologists now believe solar magnetic activity – which determines the number of sunspots -- is an influencing factor for climate on earth."According to data from Mount Wilson Observatory, UCLA, more than an entire month has passed without a spot. The last time such an event occurred was June of 1913. Sunspot data has been collected since 1749."
Comment:See, Sunspeck counts, Sun Does Not have Spotless Month . I find it amusing that scientists are now arguing over 'specks' on the Sun!

Hurricane Gustav slams La.; 1M without power

"NEW ORLEANS - Hurricane Gustav slammed into the heart of Louisiana's fishing and oil industry with 110 mph winds Monday, delivering only a glancing blow to New Orleans that raised hopes the city would escape the kind of catastrophic flooding brought by Katrina three years ago. That did not mean the state survived the storm without damage. A levee in the southeast part of the state was on the verge of collapse, and officials scrambled to fortify it. Roofs were torn from homes, trees toppled and roads flooded. More than 1 million customers were without power."
Comment:It's really hard to comment on hurricane driven "natural" disasters, when accusations are being made that various authorities refuse to acknowledge that we live in an Electromagnetic Universe. Some scientists believe that hurricanes can be steered away from land by ionising the eye by satellite laser beams. Apparently, the technology already exists and that is why various groups of independent scientists scrutinise hurricanes for any suspicious behaviour. Another idea is to set up buoys to electrically short out the hurricane before it hits land. This is why hurricanes normally peter out when they hit land, but unfortunately, not before huge damage has been done. Anyway, three years ago with Hurricane Katrina, many reports noted that brand new casinos were hit, some thought this was not a coincidence. Sounds unbelievable, but if power mad people are in charge of this type of technology, then anything goes. However, at the same time, from the metaphysical perspective, there is also conflicting messages. We are told that hurricanes are only meant for the oceans to distribute energy and that humans can attract hurricanes by their fear. At the same time, we are told that the "winds" are coming as part of the massive evolutionary changes on Earth. Various messages have told us that we are wasting our time re-building homes that cannot withstand this kind of weather conditions and that we have to comply with the new conditions. That is why I have coined the phrase, "The Terms and Conditions of Living on Planet Earth have Changed!". I was at first shocked by the inference that people will die, but don't worry you'll be coming back mentality, but I have come to the conclusion that this is exactly what will happen for many blissfully unaware of what is taking place on this planet. I must also add, for those concerned about survival preparations for the select few, please don't worry. As the Russians so eloquently put it, "every living thing on this planet will be getting a quality control inspection to see if they can comply with the new conditions". Unless these people are going to live under 80 inches of lead to stop the extreme cosmic rays hitting them, their DNA is up for an upgrade too.

Volcanic Sunsets

"Sky watchers across the USA and Europe are reporting unusually colorful sunsets and sunrises. The cause appears to be the August 7th eruption of the Kasatochi volcano in Alaska. The volcano hurled a massive cloud of ash and sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere; high winds have since carried the aerosols over parts of the USA and Europe, producing widespread "volcanic sunsets." "I was taking photos of sunflowers on Aug. 26th when this amazing sunset materialized," says Darin Brunin of Lawrence, Kansas. "It had colors brighter than the yellow petals of the sunflower itself. Now I know this unique sunset was caused by the volcano."
Comment:Well, the main issue is the effect that the Kasatochi volcanic activity plus other eruptions, will have on global temperatures. Comment:There is NO CONSENSUS! The Great Global Warming Hoax is over! There is also the wider issue of scientific fraud to be considered here too, as this is becoming an issue. Science has been elevated to the status of a religion and scientists are now high priests and as such are given authority to provide us with "scientific truth". At the same time, big egos crave the adulation and power given by any scrap of recognition provided by their scientific works. When big business gets involved, then the pressures become considerable and outright fraud can be the result.

I am the rocket scientist who wrote the carbon accounting model (FullCAM) that measures Australia's compliance with the Kyoto Protocol, in the land use change and forestry sector.....When I started that job in 1999 the evidence that carbon emissions caused global warming seemed pretty good: CO2 is a greenhouse gas; the old ice core data; no other suspects....But since 1999, new evidence has seriously weakened the case that carbon emissions are the main cause of global warming, and by 2007 the evidence was pretty conclusive that carbon played only a minor role and was not the main cause of the recent global warming. As Lord Keynes famously said, "When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?"
Comment:I think there are quite a few scientists recanting or repenting their former beliefs and are seeking to make ammends.

UFOs, Sovereignty and Politics

Indonesian Woman "Noorsyaidah" Claims Metal Wire Has Grown, From Her Body For 18 Years

Comment:Well, there have always been people with seemingly "bizarre" medical conditions but this story reminds me of the phenomena of "tin whiskers". According to a NASA webpage, "tin whiskers are electrically conductive, crystalline structures of tin that sometimes grow from surfaces where tin (especially electroplated tin) is used as a final finish. Tin whiskers have been observed to grow to lengths of several millimeters (mm) and in rare instances to lengths up to 10 mm." So, I note the scepticism about this woman's story but a very similar phenomena occurs within electronics and there is great concern due to the impact of recent environmental directives that will soon bring this phenomena to everyone's attention. So, like this poor woman's condition, metal growing in the wrong places is yet another "mystery".

Gustav slams Cuba as Cat 4 storm; many evacuated

Comment:Well, there is already some suspicion that Cuba is being hit for the third time this season, (Fay, Gustav & Hanna) and that New Orleans is being targeted again. Apparently, the technology to manipulate storms is available and researchers who track hurricanes get suspicious when they see acute turns and hurricane paths that deviate too much from historical routes. Unfortunately, 'controlling the weather' is not for the benefit of the general populace. Update The Accuweather satellite images show 2 storms & 2 "tropical waves" in a straight line. The system gearing up behind Hanna, if it develops enough will be be named Ike. This could suggest that the equatorial electrojet has touched down, but there is no legitimate explanation for the strange routes.

Still No Sunspot Action on the Sun

Then they tried prediction and showed they could get the last eight solar cycles better than any other technique. Given that, we project into the future and the next cycle is going to be big and it’s going to start late. THAT APPEARS SO FAR TO BE WHAT’S HAPPENING. Well, the late start is definitely there. Yeah, I can no longer claim that this is an early starting cycle. That definitely is not happening this time around. They are still predicting a big cycle. But in their model, it ought to start late. And that’s odd because most big cycles start early. Dikpati and Gilman are quite comfortable with what’s happening. In fact, they suggested that it would be some time in late 2008 that we’d end up coming out of minimum, so it’s all going according to their plan. It’s just that their plan was a little surprising since if you look at the past 20 some sunspot cycles, usually big ones start early and the minimum is high in sunspot numbers because they start early."
Comment:Interesting info here that the original predictions by the solar physicists Dikpati and Gilman were modified by NASA and now NASA have to conduct a diplomatic exercise to placate onlookers anxious about what we should expect. There is a new piece of info here that Dikpati and Gilman actually predicted a 50% increase in solar activity. Hmmmm! Anyway, despite the lack of sunspots, we are still getting minor solar outbursts. UFO sighted in Mumbai

"An UNIDENTIFIED flying object was sighted by people at the Gateway of India in Mumbai on Thursday (August 28). A video was also shot by an alert citizen and the same has been posted on the popular internet video site You Tube. The sighting has created a stir as the video clearly shows a flying object coming out of nowhere into the sky. It remained there for some seconds and then vanished out of the vision. People said that this was one of the most visible UFO sightings in the country."
Comment:Well, this is the most interesting UFO footage I have seen for a long time. I have chosen not to list the relentless sightings of "orange orbs" all over the UK, because I feel there are other websites collating sightings & providing commentary. My interest here, is to just to highlight once again, that since the dimensions that compose the aetheric background to our reality have shifted, it's just much easier to see what has been flying around in our skies for eons. There is also a possibility that this footage is a fake, but then you would have to ask, why bother?

ATV carries out first debris avoidance manoeuvre for the ISS

"The Automated Transfer Vehicle, Europe’s ISS logistics spacecraft, was used to perform its first debris avoidance manoeuvre for the International Space Station. The manoeuvre was started yesterday at 18:11 CEST (16:11 UT) and finished 5 minutes 2 seconds later. In the current Station configuration the Automated Transfer Vehicle(ATV), which is docked to the aft end of the Russian Zvezda Service module at the back of the Station, is the only vehicle that can carry out this kind of manoeuvre. The way to avoid space debris, which in this case comes from an old satellite, is by performing a so-called retrograde manoeuvre of the Space Station, i.e. by slowing it down, which in turn lowers its orbiting altitude. "
Comment:So, the ISS has measures to avoid being hit by the junk that surrounds this planet, is that really such an impressive feat? I would be more impressed if they could find a way of clearing up the junk. So, now that NASA are reassuring us that we are still on for celestial fireworks in solarcycle 24, it might be interesting to watch the ISS dodge one bullet after another as satellites die and spin out of control after getting hit by space weather.

ESA's Cluster Watches Earth's Leaky Atmosphere

"Oxygen is constantly leaking out of Earth's atmosphere and into space. Now, ESA's formation-flying quartet of satellites, Cluster, has discovered the physical mechanism that is driving the escape. It turns out that the Earth’s own magnetic field is accelerating the oxygen away. The new work uses data collected by Cluster from 2001 to 2003. During this time, Cluster amassed information about beams of electrically charged oxygen atoms, known as ions, flowing outwards from the polar regions into space. Cluster also measured the strength and direction of the Earth's magnetic field whenever the beams were present." "The Cluster data were captured over the poles with the satellites flying at an altitude of anywhere between 30,000 and 64,000 kilometres. Measurements taken by earlier satellites during the 1980s and 1990s showed that the escaping ions were travelling faster the higher they were observed. This implied that some sort of acceleration mechanism was involved and several possibilities were proposed."
Comment:We live in an Electric Universe and our scientists are providing observational evidence of accelerating charge, driven by the electric field between Earth and the Sun.

Chinese cats grow 'wings'

Full Report: "Tom cats in Sichuan province in southern China have sprouted wing-like growths on their backs, which locals are attributing to the hot summer weather and the romantic attentions of females. One animal started to develop the "wings" during a period of hot weather in Sichuan, a large province in southern China where a devastating earthquake struck this spring. Although the growths appear fluffy, they contain bone. But veterinary experts say that despite the hard inner core, the flaps do not harm the cat's quality of life or safety. Several animals were photographed with the furry protuberances by a local newspaper photographer. "At first they were just two bumps, but they started to grow quickly, and after a month there were two wings," said one cat's owner, who was only identified as Feng. "Many female cats in heat came to harass him, and then the wings started to grow," she told the local Huashang News. Although Feng attributed her pet's condition to the stress of a feline love life and the hot Sichuan summer. However, scientists said the wings had a less romantic explanation. In fact, the hairy growths probably developed because of unusual grooming habits, a genetic defect or a hereditary skin condition."
Comment:It seems that more cats in China are now morphing and developing wings and the report in May 2007 Cat grows wings, was the first of the crop. This is really starting to look like the start of some rapid evolutionary change....

Comment:Of course the accusations of "pseudo-science" come from those who have obviously not seriously studied the science. As many people have realised, for some, health-care should be expensive and as risky as circumstances allow.

Comment:I think a few scientists are trying to shift the rhetoric, as they realise that cooling has already started. I must point out the comment here, "It is wise to be sceptical of many Russian scientists"...why? I think it's wise to be sceptical of ALL scientists especially those whose research has an obvious bias for political motives. The Russians were the first to point out to the world that ALL the planets in our solar system were changing and that the electromagnetic grid of our planet Earth was shifting. Bravo!! Also the scientist being quoted here, Dr Ken McCracken is retired. In my research, I realised that many scientists nearing retirement, no longer have to worry about securing a pension, and thus no longer feel obligated to toe the party line. Very often, this is the time when they tell you what they really believe.

Comment:This is almost as amazing as the Russian Crystal Island , which is also extremely futuristic too. I note the first comments about this being an elitist venture, but we know for a fact that the pyramid geometry has definite effects on human consciousness and hence there will be an evolution of consciousness in the short to medium term.

Strange Clouds at the Edge of Space

"People first noticed NLCs at the end of the 19th century after the 1883 eruption of Krakatoa. The Indonesian supervolcano hurled plumes of ash more than 50 km high in Earth's atmosphere. This produced spectacular sunsets and, for a while, turned twilight sky watching into a worldwide pastime. One evening in July 1885, Robert Leslie of Southampton, England, saw wispy blue filaments in the darkening sky. He published his observations in the journal Nature and is now credited with the discovery of noctilucent clouds. Scientists of the 19th century figured the clouds were some curious manifestation of volcanic ash. Yet long after Krakatoa's ash settled, NLCs remained."
Comment:What's interesting is that we know there is a connection with cloud cover and global temperatures and clouds are generated by cosmic ray activity in conjunction with the Earth's Electric field. Yet, scientists are really "puzzled" by ice in the "rarefied layer of Earth's upper atmosphere that is one hundred million times dryer than air from the Sahara desert". Some researchers see a connection with the increase in cosmic dust entering our solar system since the 1990s. Whatever, for certain, climate models cannot take this atmospheric phenomena into account as it's still "a mystery".

GOCE To Look At The Earth's Gravitational Field and Map Geoid

Comment:The article does not specifically mention that the rapid melting of the Greenland Ice Cap is triggering earthquakes as the whole of Earth's gravity field is being forced to re-adjust. However the above mention of "terrestrial ice dynamics" is as much as they want you to know.

Moo North: Cattle and Deer May Sense Earth's Magnetic Field

"Researchers have found that when grazing or resting, cattle and deer tend to point their bodies toward Earth's magnetic poles, which suggests they are able to sense magnetic fields in the same way as many smaller animals. German and Czech researchers used Google Earth satellite images to look at 8,510 domestic cattle in 308 pastures located randomly across six continents. They also studied body alignment in 2,974 red and roe deer in the Czech Republic, either by photographing the animals or checking the impressions they left in snow. The team reports in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA that the animals tended to point north or south but not in other directions. When the researchers were able to examine the position of the head in the case of red and roe deer, they found the animals tended to point north."
Comment:This is a rather unexpected success for Google Earth!

Environmentalists feed people to dragons

"Komodo dragons have been eating a lot of people in Indonesia lately and the locals blame environmentalists, as reported by Yaroslav Trofimov at the Wall Street Journal (a subscription is required; or borrow or buy today’s paper). Apparently, in Indonesia, people used to hunt deer and leave portions of successful hunts to the komodo dragons. They also used to tie up goats as sacrifices. All of this pleased the dragons, which left the humans alone. Then entered the Environmentalists from the Nature Conservancy, who sought and were awarded a ban on deer hunting. They also had dogs declared an “alien species”, thus outlawing them. Naturally, being sympathetic souls, they also got a ban on goat offerings. The reason they did all this, according to Widodo Ramono, the policy director of the environmentalist organization, was because he feared the komodo was becoming "domesticated." But, even though all the people in this group were no doubt armed with many letters after their names, each with multiple "studies" in hand, they forgot that the dragons had to eat. So the dragons started wandering down to the villages and learned how tasty villagers and the villagers' livestock were. "Today the dragons are angry with us," says villager Hajji Faisal, "and see us an enemies." A man named Jamain, whose son was eaten, said "I don’t blame the dragons for my boy’s death. I blame those who forbade us from following custom and feeding them. If it weren't for them, my boy would still be alive."
Comment:Great headline! I suppose we are seeing a type of environmental myopia and lack of common sense. I don't suppose these environmentalists actually live in close quarters with these beasts....

Brain study could lead to new understanding of depression

Comment:Dr David Hawking's research indicated that the energy fields associated with guilt are very low down on the Map of Consciousness and result in weakening the human energy field, which then contributes weakening the immune system etc. However, various studies show that there is always an electrical inbalance between the left and right hemispheres of the brain assoicated with depression. In fact, recent pioneering studies reveal that even the worst manic-depressives can be cured by the appplication of electromagnetic fields re-balancing the two hemispheres of the brain.

BAE drops plans to make 'green bullets'

Comment:If you understand that tornadoes and waterspouts are an electromagnetic phenomena and compared to gravity the electromagnetic force is 10^39 times (a thousand billion, billion, billion, billion times) more powerful, then shoals of fish, frogs, etc being picked up and dumped elsewehere is no big deal. There are even stories of humans surviving being picked up and dropped elsewhere.

Asteroid wrap could save the world

Comment:When I first read this report, I was not sure whether it was serious.... Anyway from what I understand, we have already had one reprieve from an asteroid with our name on it, when an Schumacher-Levi 9 was broken up by our aetheric friends in 1994. Obviously, this is an issue for world controllers who want to keep the populous fearful, ignorant and helpless, as they are much easier to control that way.

How Stars Form Very Close To Black Holes

"The mystery of how young stars can form within the deep gravity of black holes has been solved by a team of astrophysicists at the Universities of St Andrews and Edinburgh. The team, partly funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), made the discovery after developing computer simulations of giant clouds of gas being sucked into black holes."
Comment:The mystery is caused by observations that falsify bad theory, hence the need to revamp existing ideas. Black holes are purely theoretical and after decades of research, a few top tier scientists are finally conceding that they cannot possibly exist. Personally, I wish they would stop referring to "gas", it's PLASMA, which does not obey the laws of hydrodynamics!

Comment:As much as I like Electric/Plasma Universe theory, there is too much emphasis on the electric force and not enough real theory about the creation of matter. Electric theorists also shun higher dimensions which they consider metaphysical and even in this article, I found the quotes about the relationship between matter and aether at odds with what I have understood as the basic postulates of Electric Universe theory. According to Dr Harold Aspden and other emminent British scientists, spacetime is Einstein's version of the aether, the existence of which was acknowledged by the great British pioneers of mathematics and physics over 100 years ago. Personally, I like to see some ugly hard facts and that is why I wrote about the work of Dr Harold Aspden who made his predictions of standard physics constants from his understanding of the aether about 50 years ago and it is only now that experimental physics has caught up and verified his work. I must admit, electrical engineers live in the real world and even now they will state.....have you ever seen an electron? Quite frankly they have a point. Anyway, for the general public, scientists and mathematicians in 'Theoretical Wonderland', arguing about the cause of gravity does seem irrelevant. However, at this time in the galactic cycle, highly electrical plasma energy termed Space Weather by our scientists, is literally raining on our heads and is impacting us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Despite my approach in using some Electric Universe theory to explain what is going on, there is absolutely nothing abstract about being zapped by highly electrical energy.

I can't shut it off," he wrote, according to prosecutors, adding: "Will we never be free from the shackles of apostrophic misunderstanding, even in a place surrounded by natural beauty?" The judge ordered Deck and Benjamin Herson to stay out of national parklands for 12 months. They were also sentenced to a year of probation and ordered to pay more than $3,000 to repair the sign."

Galactic 'spaghetti monster' powered by magnetic fields

Previously, it was not clear what prevented the delicate filaments from being destroyed by competing gravitational forces." "Until now, no one was sure quite how old these gas filaments were or how they avoided being torn apart by the galaxy cluster's immense gravitational forces. "Quite what the filaments are and how they are produced hasn't been known," says study author Andrew Fabian of Cambridge University in the UK. ...They show the gas filaments seem to be made up of a number of thin threads. These threads are so tenuous that magnetic fields are the only thing that can protect them from being destroyed, says Fabian."
Comment:Spaghetti Madness! Plasma Cosmology is over 100 years old, founded by the insights of the great Norwegian Kristian Olaf Bernhard and later championed by the great Nobel prize winner Swedish Hannes Alfven. I imagine that these pioneers will be spinning in their graves, caused by the ignorance of the true nature of our universe by these astronomers who do not know that the Universe is filled with 99.999% plasma. This is a perfect example of how compartmentalised the academic community has become. These astronomers need to do some plasma physics and electrical enginneering courses and then they would instantly recognise a Birkeland current when they see one! Incredible!!!!!!!

Resilient storm Fay could hit Florida a third time

"In fact, it is stronger than it has ever been so far," the hurricane forecasters noted in their advisory."
Comment:It seems bizarre that these meteorologists repeat old theory, whilst at the same time providing us with observations that falsify the theory. The following statement should embarrass this "expert"; "The land in Fay's path was so warm and swampy that "it might not register that it's really land at this point," said Corey Walton, a hurricane support meteorologist at the Miami-based hurricane center." Cringe Cringe!

Student inventor creates £20 wind turbine out of scrap for developing world

Max Robson, 22, constructed a prototype using rubbish collected from skips, tips and bins including an old bike frame and wheel bearings, the magneto from a Vespa, a battery from a Ford Fiesta and bits of wood. It is so simple, he says, it can be built by unskilled workers in less than a day anywhere in the world."
Comment:This reminds me of Nikola Tesla who stated that electricity can be produced by "ramming a stick into the earth in your backyard" and that was about 100 years ago.

Workplace violence comes in many forms

Comment:As the build-up of energies accelerates and all our emotions are amplified, those with too much unresolved emotional issues will go into an extreme state of imbalance very quickly. So, is it conceivable that we could get to the stage where workers are checked to see if they are balanced before they are allowed in the workplace? Currently, many people are only interested in their neighbours social status, but in the future, it's a possibility that all people will care about is how balanced they are instead.

Comment:This is an old account, but still interesting, the final statement is awesome. Currently, the world is waking up to the existence of plasma lifeforms or "magnetic entities" caused by the shifting aetheric background and merger of dimensions. Yet, some ufologists realised they were detecting the existence of "entities", and so they have been called by many different names in the past. Historically, virtually all acknowledgement of their existence has been ignored in the mainstream — until now, as it will be increasingly difficult if not impossible to deny their existence.

Wild dolphins tail-walk on water

"A wild dolphin is apparently teaching other members of her group to walk on their tails, a behaviour usually seen only after training in captivity. The tail-walking group lives along the south Australian coast near Adelaide. One of them spent a short time after illness in a dolphinarium 20 years ago and may have picked up the trick there."
Comment:Interesting. Do we actually have an example of morphogenesis, often dubbed the 100th monkey principal at work here? So after a brief stay at an aquarium 20 years ago, a dolphin has only possibly 'seen' another dolphin doing this trick and off they go, acquiring a skill that they can then pass onto others. So, there is two scenarios to consider here. Maybe, the information to do this skill was transmitted into this dolphin's energy field but stayed latent, until additional energy was acquired to activate this ability. The other scenario is that there has been a full update of the morphogenetic fields for ALL dolphins, but some dolphins have more access to others to acquire information, hence why one dolphin is being seen to teach others. Whatever, it will be interesting to see if this feat is duplicated in the wild elsewhere.

Preliminary SO2 mass calculations using Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) data suggest a total SO2 burden of ~1.5 Tg. This figure will be revised in the coming weeks but is more likely to go up than down. The SO2 cloud has drifted over a large area of North America and is now (August 14) reaching Europe.""With this eruption coming on the heels of a short term global cooling trend that we've seen in the last 18 months, it will be interesting to see if this real-world experiment being performed by nature will add to the trend we've already seen."
Comment:I think this article has caused some confusion. "Experiment" is really the wrong terminology and "Case-study" would have been more appropriate. I think from comments posted on this website, some people think that the volcano was artificially stimulated to erupt. Eh....that is certainly possible, but there is no evidence that this is the case here.

The problem here is that the universe is filled with 99.999% plasma that is shaped and molded by the electromagnetic force, gravity has virtually no effect. As we know many scientists are now very unsure they truly understand the cause of gravity, it's seems very strange that others are forcing results to support something they don't fully understand....

But van Vlissingen refused that title, 'You can't own a place like this. It belongs to the planet,' he once said. 'I'm only the guardian.'" Wise man.

"THE HAND OF GOD? Could this be sign of hope from above in these troubled times? This huge Celtic cross appeared in a field on Etchilhampton Hill in Wiltshire. The size is over eight tram lines in width and about twice as long in length. Within the cross is spiral imagery which takes us back to ancient times. Very impressive indeed."
Comment:The crop circles keep on coming and are delighting the enthusiasts! Of course there are religious overtones here, but the analysis so far link this cross with both Christian and Mayan symbology.

Military wants to study mind-reading

"The U.S. military is paying scientists to study ways to read people's thoughts. Scientists use electroencephalography, or brain wave-reading technology, to measure brain activity. The hope is that the research could someday lead to a gadget capable of translating the thoughts of soldiers who suffered brain injuries in combat or even stroke patients in hospitals. But the research also raises concerns that such mind-reading technology could be used to interrogate the enemy. Armed with a $4 million grant from the Army, scientists are studying brain signals to try to decipher what a person is thinking and to whom the person wants to direct the message."
Comment:Historical sources tell us that this type of research has been ongoing for at least 50 years.

University of Massachusetts professor hacks heart device to expose risks

"A UMass professor has found a way to remotely control an implantable heart defibrillator, proving that hell-bent hackers could some day terrorize the millions of people who rely on the devices to regulate their hearts. With a homemade $1,000 radio transmitter, researchers were able to reprogram a pacemakerlike device and deliver high-energy shocks that could do all sorts of mischief, from causing a fatal heart attack to extracting personal information such as names and Social Security numbers."
Comment:Personally, I think this scientist is seeking the highest bidder.....Whatever, people with pacemakers do have to take their chances due to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and geomagnetic storms.

Climate myths: Global warming stopped in 1998

"Even if the atmospheric temperature near the earth's surface has become cooler recently, that doesn't mean the planet as a whole isn't heating up." The article concludes with the following; "Some climate scientists are predicting that surface temperatures will remain static or even fall slightly over the next few years, before warming resumes.....If these predictions are right - and not all climate scientists think they are - you can expect to hear more claims from climate-change deniers about how global warming has stopped. But unless we see a simultaneous fall in both surface temperatures and ocean-heat content, claims that the "entire planet" is cooling are nonsense. And while a big volcanic eruption could indeed trigger genuine cooling for a few years, global warming will resume again once the dust has settled."
Comment:I would say that New Scientist is still trying to beat the drum that global warming is still happening but the current facts show global cooling and so they are trying to reassure the faithful that their belief in global warming is still valid. However, the writer here realises that a major volcanic eruption would act as a wild card and lower world temperatures dramatically. Personally, I think that there are so many large active volcanoes rumbling at the moment and some big eruptions already that I think it is most certain that the Earth will self-regulate. It's interesting though that the writer completely ignores what's happening on the Sun and the lack of sunspots which will be a harbinger of major global cooling if this situation continues.

Warming warnings get overheated
Alarmist predictions of climate change like Oliver Tickell's are not just bad science – they stop us thinking rationally about solutions

"These alarmist predictions are becoming quite bizarre, and could be dismissed as sociological oddities, if it weren't for the fact that they get such big play in the media. Oliver Tickell, for instance, writes that a global warming causing a 4C temperature increase by the end of the century would be a "catastrophe" and the beginning of the "extinction" of the human race. This is simply silly. His evidence? That 4C would mean that all the ice on the planet would melt, bringing the long-term sea level rise to 70-80m, flooding everything we hold dear, seeing billions of people die. Clearly, Tickell has maxed out the campaigners' scare potential (because there is no more ice to melt, this is the scariest he could ever conjure). But he is wrong. Let us just remember that the UN climate panel, the IPCC, expects a temperature rise by the end of the century between 1.8 and 6.0C. Within this range, the IPCC predicts that, by the end of the century, sea levels will rise 18-59 centimetres – Tickell is simply exaggerating by a factor of up to 400."
Comment:I think from a metaphysical perspective the climate scare mongering is part of many ongoing attempts to suppress the overall levels of human consciousness through fear. Yet, the influx of New Energy is allowing people to shrug off the fear and evolve their consciousness, hence the desperation in certain quarters.

New Milky Way Map Reveals A Complicated Outer Galaxy

Comment:This report is really unbelievable, with astronomers providing banal descriptions of galactic plasma filaments described as "a jumble of pasta", "spaghetti-like strands", "pasta shells" and "angel hair". We are then given the following pearl of wisdom, "There really aren't enough pasta varieties to describe all the structures we find." Is it any wonder that some scientists query whether astronomy is even a science..... Oh well, my forecast is that we will be getting more spaghetti around our planet and fairly soon.

Arctic ice refuses to melt as ordered

"Just a few weeks ago, predictions of Arctic ice collapse were buzzing all over the internet. Some scientists were predicting that the "North Pole may be ice-free for first time this summer". Others predicted that the entire "polar ice cap would disappear this summer". The Arctic melt season is nearly done for this year. The sun is now very low above the horizon and will set for the winter at the North Pole in five weeks. And none of these dire predictions have come to pass. Yet there is, however, something odd going on with the ice data."
Comment:I think there should be correlation studies with cosmic ray activity, geomagnetic storms and variations in the solar wind etc, but if these studies exist, they are not widely reported.

Oceans On The Precipice Of Mass Extinctions And Rise Of Slime

Comment:According to metaphysical sources and current belief by many, during this time of evolutionary change, all actions are being accelerated and that includes karmic reactions. So before, people seemed to get away with murder, literally, but now the "blow-back" as deemed by universal law is compounded and swiftly returned.

Germany: Fleeing Famine, Bees Seek Asylum in Cities

"Berlin - For German bees, the countryside is no longer what it used to be. They are fleeing insecticides and genetically modified crops to take refuge in cities. On Jul. 15, six German apiarists moved their 30,000 bees into Munich city, some 500 km south of Berlin. They were trying to save their bees from genetically modified maize crops near their village Kaisheim, some 80 km from Munich." "Earlier this year, Bablock and several of his colleagues filed a protest against the GM crops before a tribunal in Augsburg, 60 km northwest of Munich. But the court ruled in May that because the crops were legal, it was the apiarists who should move their beehives somewhere else. "It is well known that bees live 90 percent of their lives in a perimeter of three kilometres," Bablock said. "But bees can fly up to 10 kilometres without any problem. Now we are really happy that the city of Munich has granted our bees asylum."
Comment:I think this is a real sign of the times,when the bees have to be granted asylum, as without them we would not survive very long. As numerous commentators have realised; no bees, no pollination, no plants, no animals, no man. As any sane person realises, the levels of madness are now unprecedented.

The Great Planet Debate

Boy, were they wrong! Taken in Prague during the final day of the group's triennial General Assembly, the vote was deemed necessary because an object larger than Pluto (now called Eris) had been discovered in the distant Kuiper Belt. Was it a planet, a giant comet, an asteroid?

"Dead Zones" Multiplying Fast, Coastal Water Study Says

""Dead zones" are on the rise, says a new study that identified stark growth in the number of coastal areas where the water has too little oxygen to sustain marine life. There are now more than 400 known dead zones in coastal waters worldwide, compared to 305 in the 1990s, according to study author Robert Diaz of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science."
Comment:The problem is that there does not seem to be an awareness that the Earth will only tolerate so much and then the Universe takes action. A good analogy is that the Earth is a dog and we are the fleas, and every approximately 12,000 years the Earth is given a chance to deal with the infestation. It seems that very few are aware of cosmic cycles and most are ignorant of the true history of mankind. We have escaped the worst catastrophe but it does not mean that our evolutionary destiny will be achieved without some drastic changes.

Crowds in awe as formation of mysterious orange lights appear over UK village

The intensely bright orbs, the colour of the setting sun, were spotted by dozens of residents between 10 and 11pm. "Matthew Darsley, 31, of Haworth Drive, said: "It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. They looked as if they were on fire, really bright orange orbs. We spotted eight or nine go over my house between 10 and 11pm.....These things were massive. The first one I saw was just below the cloud line but the others were probably only about 300ft up." "Experts in defence intelligence staff reported in 2000 that many UFOs are in fact an atmospheric phenomenon, extremely hot gases (plasmas) created by charges of electricity."
Comment: Please pay attention to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), for once they are telling the truth....

Lightning strike hits 20 homes

"A HUGE bolt of lightning left 20 householders counting the cost after televisions blew and telephone lines melted. The lightning struck the aerial of a house in Yewlands Avenue, Blackley, just after 9pm last night sending a massive power surge through electricity cables in neighbouring homes." "Firefighters assessed the damage and checked the house over to ensure there was no danger of fire. They found the lightning had punched a hole the size of a tennis ball in the roof.
Comment:This has been added because I am not sure it's common knowledge that lightning could punch holes through roofs, this also prompted me to think about hole punched clouds.... Anyway, see this story from New Zealand, dated 29th June 2008 Lightning punches hole in plane , the hole was the size of a dinner plate....

Comment:The scientists here are admitting the existence of higher dimensions, as we read, "In a sense, these instantaneous events "seem to happen from outside space-time, in that it's not a story you can tell within space-time," Gisin told LiveScience. Honeybee population collapses in UK as one in three hives wiped out in a year

"The number of honeybees in the UK has dramatically declined this year, according to a survey of beekeepers. It found that nearly one in three beehives were wiped out during the winter and spring, prompting fears of a shortage of honey. A decline in the honeybee could mean that the pollination of fruits and vegetables is not as extensive as usual. The reported losses, by the British Beekeepers' Association, are markedly higher than the Government's figure earlier this year, which put the number of colonies lost at one in five.
Comment:Well, I am sure most people won't care unless their favourite products disappear off the shelves at the Tesco supermarket. At that point, will it be enough to awaken at least some to the impact of evolutionary change which demands higher levels of consciousness and new ways of being in harmony with our environment.

Is there a cold future just lying in wait for us?

"Our own observatory at Armagh is one of the oldest in the world and has been observing solar cycles for more than 200 years. What this work has shown is that, over all of this time, short and intense cycles coincide with global warmth and long and weak cycles coincide with cooling. Most recently, this pattern continued in the 1980s and 1990s when cycles 21 and 22 were short (less than 10 years) and intense and it was notably hot. But all this now looks set to change. Cycle 23, which hasn't finished yet, looks like it will be long (at least 12 to 13 years) and cycle 24, which has still to start, looks like it will be exceptionally weak. Based on the past Armagh measurements, this suggests that over the next two decades, global temperatures may fall by about 2 degrees C – that is, to a level lower than any we have seen in the last 100 years. Of course, nothing in science is certain. Perhaps (though I doubt it) Armagh's old measurements are wrong or perhaps there are now other factors, such as CO2 emissions, which may change things somewhat. However, temperatures have already fallen by about 0.5 degrees C over the past 12 months and, if this is only the start of it, it would be a serious concern."
Comment:It would be a serious concern because it could be the signal for the start of the next Ice Age and lots of scientists will be in a pickle having banged the drum for global warming. Update: See, Livingston and Penn paper: "Sunspots may vanish by 2015".

Solar radio waves could signal global cooling

What they find supports the view that another Little Ice Age could be coming."
Comment:Hmmm.... There are a number of factors that point to the same conclusion and some of the more balanced members of the scientific community have already started to realise this too.....

New report details historic mass extinction of amphibians

Comment:Very long article and very important to read if you value your health. I was also very surprised by new information that I have not seen reported elsewhere; like the introduction of CFLs and the risk of completely collapsing the national grid in New Zealand, the risk of electromagnetic interference and damage to electronics and the risk of house fires. There are other environmental directives besides this one that are also going to cause consternation, so it seems the political initiative to please the greens, will just create new types of problems instead. Apparently, the Smart Money is now being placed on Halogen bulb manufacturers and I for one will NEVER buy a CFL, it's just not worth the risk.

Comment: Fantastic! I am thrilled to see this article in the mainstream media. The pyramids work by their geometry to harness interdimensional energy, thus promoting higher states of consciousness, correcting and balancing morphogenetic and electromagnetic fields. Writing for the first time since the documentary was screened, Durkin tells 'The Independent on Sunday' why he stands by his film in the face of continued criticism."
Comment:I still chuckle about the "middle class fatwa placed on his head". LOL!!

Help! Police! Quick! I can't stop my ice-cream melting

In Kyoto, it is calculated that more than a quarter of emergency calls to the police involve no crime or danger and often represent the mildest everyday inconveniences. The new flood of calls has included numerous complaints by men that their girlfriends have left them and others that vending machines have failed to return the correct change. Some demand immediate police responses to irregularities with train timetables or simply express general qualms: one person dialled 110 to declare a fear of snakes and seek official advice."
Comment:I wonder if this lack of taking responsibility is another milder symptom of mental imbalance. My favourite complaint is the person who cycled to a railway station and then telephoned the police to complain that her bottom hurt. LOL!!

Thirty-two injured as lightning zaps German stadium

BERLIN (AFP) – Thirty-two people were injured, nine seriously, when a bolt of lightning struck a rain-soaked stadium in the west of Germany where amateur footballers were training, police said Saturday. Three of those electrocuted had to be taken by helicopter to specialist clinics after the incident Friday evening in which lightning zapped a lighting pylon at the sports venue in the town of Wald-Michelbach, south of Frankfurt.

Lightning Shuts Down South Korea's Oldest Nuclear Reactor

"It may take three to seven days to fix the problem," said an official at the state-run company."

Early Waterspout on Lake Ontario

"Several viewers reported seeing a waterspout over Lake Ontario Friday morning [August 8, 2008.] 13WHAM Chief Meteorologist Glenn Johnson says it is highly unusual for waterspouts to develop this early in the year. Waterspouts do not normally occur over Lake Ontario, however, until October or November when the air temperature is cooler."
Comment:The Meteorologist cited here gives the usual unproven theoretical ideas that of course cannot be applied in this instance anyway, so it would have been better to say he has absolutely no idea why a waterspout has formed at this time of year. This weaker version of a tornado, is caused by electromagnetic conditions in our magnetosphere connecting with our ionosphere, linking energies to earth via the vertical electric field. This is the same reason that also explains how tornados can appear from nowhere on a clear blue sky day.

Comment:Very cruel..... but soon recent environmental directives will start to backfire and some people will really start to get angry.

But as scientists learn more about Earth and space, the theory, which goes by the grandiose name of "galactic panspermia," seems less far-fetched."
Comment:I note one sceptical researcher here talking about space being mostly empty space, actually it is filled with plasma (99.999%) and this is the stuff that quickly reacts to the presence of magnetic fields. It seems strange that some scientists are only slowly waking up to our cosmic origins, at the same time that others have evidence for plasma based life forms that can grow, replicate and communicate - fulfilling most of the traditional requirements for biological cells. These plasma life forms would also act as carriers for bacteria which our scientists have also monitored moving in and out of our atmosphere, 20 each minute, according to various space agencies.

German City Wonders How Green Is Too Green

The town council's decision to require solar-heating panels has thrown Marburg into a vehement debate over the boundaries of ecological good citizenship and led opponents to charge that their genteel town has turned into a "green dictatorship.""
Comment:Well, I would say this is a difficult one to call and I can understand why there is "vehement debate". I personally think that if you can afford solar panels then they are a great idea and if they can be used as an emergency backup, that don't require being linked to any national grid system, then that's even better.

The tyranny of the dimwitted

Eisenhower, a supporter shouted: "Governor Stevenson, all thinking people are for you." "That's not enough," the Princeton- and Harvard-educated intellectual shot back. "I need a majority." Bryan Caplan, professor of economics at George Mason University in Washington, cites this famous anecdote in The Myth of the Rational Voter: Why Democracies Choose Bad Policies, a brilliant and disturbing analysis of decision making by electorates that - he documents - are perversely ignorant and woefully misinformed.....Mr. Caplan's answer, in part, is that people delegate their voting to the "mindset" they possess, a collection of religious beliefs, nationalistic instincts and political impulses that embodies biases and preferences of all kinds. Thus equipped, people don't feel any particular need for extraneous facts."
Comment:Well, New Scientist have done a 7 page spread on REASON and it seems quite topical at the moment, see Seven reasons why people hate reason . Personally, I am fed up to the back teeth with people who simply don't have the ability to REASON and that's because REASON is high up on the scale of consciousness. Since my book was published, I have been approached by an assortment of dimwitted people who seem to think I am equally dimwitted and want to manipulate me in some way or other to their advantage. The worst behaviour has come from someone with ZERO qualifications who I have been told from several sources is extremely jealous that I was GIVEN the information to write my book, as if I did not have to spend thousands of hours studying and 750 references used in the book just fell into my lap one day. So, the FACT that I have an honours degree in Physics & Geophysics, is somehow overlooked. According to social scientists, the problem is caused when people on the lower tier of the spiral of consciousness don't realise that they are very much dominated by the way they think and can't understand that others don't necessarily think like they do. When people raise their consciousness enough and start to use REASON and acquire a more global, holistic outlook, they jump to the next tier on the scale of conciousness and at that point they have the capability of seeing things with a totally different perspective. Some criticise this kind of analysis as being elitist. Well, I can tell you from my own personal experience, some people get angry when their attempts at manipulation fail and if they retaliate, a lot of very negative energy can be thrown about. I can tell you, it's just not nice.

Comment:Unfortunately, it's being reported that this kitten died but we can still add this to the growing list of "strange" DNA mutations. In the last few years, there have been quite a few animals born with two faces, animals with additional legs, chicken with ducks webbed feet, piglet with a monkey face etc. Obviously there are human examples too, additional legs and arms, a baby with two faces etc. Sometimes, changes occur very quickly like the cat who developed wings over a period of a month or the chinese man who woke up to find he had acquired "green sweat". Planet Earth is being hammered by evolutionary energies, yet the majority of humans are not aware that their DNA is being targeted. Metaphysical messages are telling us that the blueprint for the human has changed, so if there is a quick transition for those whose energy fields have been able to adapt, what will happen in society if new human mutants arise? Funnily enough, our evolutionary biologists have been thinking about this too.....

Crop Circle Connector, 5th August 2008

Comment: We have had quite a lot of crop circles over the years with a diamond theme, which seems very apt as universal consciousness in the form of diamonds is now dropping on our heads. The other most recent startling crop circle is the upgraded South field formation. See link, South Field, Alton Priors, Wiltshire. Reported 22nd July. Personally, I think the swallows represent cosmic gravity waves and the diamond shape represents the perfection of the energy dropping on our heads.

Tornado kills three in northern France
The Independent, 4th August 2008

Three people were killed overnight when a small tornado charged through towns in northern France, destroying houses and spewing debris over the area, the local government said. Roughly 40 houses were hit by the freak meteorological event in the town of Hautmont, near the Belgian border. Three bodies were pulled from wreckage and six people were slightly injured.
Comment:More "freak" weather..... which in the process of evolutionary change, will could become quite common place.

Lord Nelson and Captain Cook's shiplogs question climate change theories
The ships' logs of great maritime figures such as Lord Nelson and Captain Cook have cast new light on climate change by suggesting that global warming may not be an entirely man-made phenomenon.

"Scientists have uncovered a treasure trove of meteorological information contained in the detailed logs kept by those on board the vessels that established Britain's great seafaring traditition including those on Nelsons' Victory and Cook's Endeavour..... A group of academics and Met Office scientists has unearthed the records dating from the 1600s and examined more than 6,000 logs, which have provided one of the world's best sources for long-term weather data. Their studies have raised questions about modern climate change theories."
Comment:Excellent News! I would say that this is one of many separate studies that spell the end of the The Great Global Warming Hoax, which is now quite clearly falling apart....

Lightning zaps spectators
Rallycross fans got more than they had bargained for when lightning struck more than 50 bystanders during the Norwegian Championship at Finnskog on Sunday.

"A medical crisis was declared as 57 victims were taken to hospital. 16 ambulances, a bus for the walking wounded, a Sea King rescue helicopter and two ambulance helicopters were sent to the accident site. The spectators were watching the race from a small hill, when lightning struck.
Comment:The Times reported, "A lightning bolt struck 91 people at a car racetrack in Norway on Sunday." See Weather Eye: life threatening lightning strikes Well, having lived in Norway, the scale of this incident would indeed have been considered a medical crisis. I will be watching with interest to see what happens in the Scandinavian countries, as there seems to be very little awareness that as they are nearer the Earth's magnetic poles, they will be getting the biggest doses of evolutionary energies.

Man beheads his girlfriend in front of horrified villagers in Greek holiday hotspot

"A Greek cook decapitated his girlfriend and then paraded her head around the picturesque tourist island of Santorini. During a furious row with his girlfriend, Athanassios Arvanitis, 31, first beheaded her dog before turning his butcher's knife on her. Arvanitis then roamed the village of Vourvoulos with his girlfriend's head as terrified neighbours locked themselves in their homes and called the police. 'He was walking around, carrying her head and telling the astonished villagers not to stop him,' said one police official. 'They knew he had psychological problems ... but they didn't expect he would reach this point.'"
Comment:Oh well, I wonder how bad things need to get before people realise that environmental factors are generating extreme behavioural abberations. I have noted on this blog before, that often, the worst abberrations are generated by strong emotions when couples argue.

Any human contribution to global temperature change is lost in the noise of terrestrial and cosmic factors. Our beautiful home planet has been warming and cooling for the last 4.8 billion years. Most recently, it has been warming – be it ever so slightly – but there is nothing unusual about it! The changes and rates of change in the Earth's temperature, just since the Industrial Revolution, have occurred many times in our climatic history. While climate scientists generally agree that the Earth's temperature is always changing, not many of them would say that humans are responsible for those changes." "It is the true believers who, when they have no facts on their side, try to silence their critics. When former NASA mathematician Ferenc Miskolczi pointed out that "greenhouse warming" may be mathematically impossible, NASA would not allow him to publish his work. Miskolczi dared to question the simplifying assumption in the warming model that the atmosphere is infinitely thick. He pointed out that when you use the correct thickness – about 65 miles – the greenhouse effect disappears! Ergo: no AGW. Miskolczi resigned in disgust and published his proof in the peer reviewed Hungarian journal Weather."
Comment:Astronaunts are becoming quite chatty these days...... There is some interesting info here, and it does seem that the pseudoscience inherent in global warming theory, is being exposed left, right and centre.

Climate chill came exactly 12,679 years ago: study

"OSLO (Reuters) - A drastic cooling of the climate in western Europe happened exactly 12,679 years ago, apparently after a shift to icy winds over the Atlantic, scientists said on Friday, giving a hint of how abruptly the climate can change. The study, of pollens, minerals and other matter deposited in annual layers at the bottom of Lake Meerfelder Maar in Germany, pinpointed an abrupt change in sediments consistent with a sudden chill over just one year. "Our data indicate an abrupt increase in storminess during the autumn to spring seasons, occurring from one year to the next at 12,679 years before the present, broadly coincident with other changes in this region," they wrote in the journal Nature Geoscience. Scientists have long known about the sharp chill towards the end of the last Ice Age, known as the Younger Dryas cooling."
Comment:This is about the same time that an Ice Age was supposedly triggered by a comet that supposedly exploded over Canada and "diamonds drizzled down by the tons". Scientific theories vary on exact timescales, but don't provide an adequate explanation of what exactly happened and the connection between climate and evolutionary change (extinctions). See previous comments on this blog.

Canada in shock after man is decapitated on bus

"Canada is coming to terms with one of the worst murders in its history as police seek to explain why a young man was decapitated by his neighbour on a Greyhound bus." "A passing lorry driver stopped to see what was happening. He boarded the bus with Mr Caton and the bus driver, armed with a tyre iron and tried to apprehend the knifeman. "When we came back on the bus, he was cutting the guy's head off and pretty much gutting him up," said Mr Caton."
Comment:I don't think anyone would disagree that this level of imbalance is off the charts, but I wonder if anyone is actually moinitoring the situation to see if there is a clearly defined trend developing. In the United Kingdom, there seems to be an epidemic of stabbing but no real analysis of the situation available for public scrutiny.
