We are witnessing the birth of the greatest and most complex commodity market the world has seen. Last year alone, permits worth more than £55 billion were traded on the world's carbon markets – but future trading volumes, if all goes global according to plan, will dwarf these.
Carbon trading schemes originate from the Kyoto protocol on climate change agreed under the auspices of the United Nations in 1997. Governments adhering to Kyoto accept limits on the CO2 their countries can emit. To meet their pledges, they put caps on the carbon outputs of domestic companies, which have to buy annual permits to exceed them. Permits are bought from governments or from carbon traders, who, naturally, charge a commission. For the City the arrival of carbon trading is a bonanza. The sector already employs about 3,000 people and has created a few dozen new millionaires."

"People in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta have been buzzing about the huge fireball that lit up the night sky over the three provinces on Nov. 20. Witnesses reported hearing sonic boom rumblings and said the fiery flash was as bright as the sun. In all, Milley and Hildebrand collected about 12 pieces of that giant space rock in and around the pond. "Hildebrand, a co-ordinator of the Canadian Fireball Reporting Centre with the Canadian Space Agency, estimated that the meteor could have been seen as far as 700 kilometres away, into the northern United States. It contained about one-tenth of a kiloton of energy when it entered the earth's atmosphere on Nov. 20, roughly the equivalent of 100 tons of the chemical explosive TNT.
"It would be something like a billion-watt light bulb," he said.
Besides sonic boom sounds, witnesses also reported hearing hissing or crackling noises like frying bacon. Fireballs can act as radio transmitters, Hildebrand said, causing odd sounds.
Comment: The light of the Sun is generated by a ball of plasma that has a surface temperature of 6000K and a corona temperature of 1-2 million K, it is an electrical phenomena with new evidence showing that fusion only takes place at the surface. Yet, here we have a report of a 10-tonne rock as it enters our atmosphere being able to generate light of a billion watts and radio frequencies, the question is: by what mechanism?
"Paying landowners to let forests grow is promoted by the United Nations as a viable way to fight global warming, but experts first have to puzzle out how to insure trees against going up in smoke.
Under UN plans, owners will get carbon credits to slow the destruction of tropical forests. But fires caused by lightning -- along with other hazards such as storms, insects and illegal logging -- are a big risk for insurers and investors." "Forest owners want full access to credits as fast as possible. But insurers suggest that half be retained in buffer funds in case forests vanish in a few decades. If a forest disappeared, the credits in the funds would go to them. "How much land-managers will see of the price is what the excitement is about," said Frances Seymour, head of the Centre for International Forestry Research in Indonesia."
Comment: So money really does grow on trees....
"Stockholm, Sweden (AHN) - Hundreds of religious representatives are in Sweden attending a summit on climate change. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Chinese Daoists and Native Americans have all sent representatives to the two-day conference. Their goal is to write and sign a document that encourages world leaders to adopt far-reaching climate change policy."
Comment: Spirtual leaders are unaware of the amazing spiritual transformation that is taking place on this planet and can only see the need for a "climate-conscious" lifestyle. It just goes to show how far spiritual truths have been lost and misrepresented.
"A shop worker was trampled to death when hundreds of American bargain hunters stampeded through the doors at the opening of a superstore sale this morning. The stock clerk was bowled over as he tried to hold back the unruly crowds. As he gasped for air, witnesses said shoppers swarmed over him, stepping on him and pushing him back down as he tried to get out of the way."
Comment: This is in a country that is about to default on it's national debt.....
"This week, a paper published in Physical Review Letters describes over seven years of observations of collisions between high-energy particles and the Earth. The 
"The Papua New Guinea jungle has given up one of its darkest secrets - the systematic slaughter of every male baby born in two villages to prevent future tribal clashes. By virtually wiping out the 'male stock', tribal women hope they can avoid deadly bow-and-arrow wars between the villages in the future. 'Babies grow into men and men turn into warriors,' said Rona Luke, a village wife who is attending a special 'peace and reconciliation' meeting in the mountain village of Goroka. 'It's because of the terrible fights that have brought death and destruction to our villages for the past 20 years that all the womenfolk have agreed to have all new-born male babies killed,' said Mrs Luke. 'The women have had enough of men engaging in tribal conflicts and bringing misery to them.'
Comment: I suppose they were simply desperate, but the solution is very short sighted....
"A team of scientists is planning to dig three narrow wells, 3-kilometers deep, into the Earth's crust, which would help them to predict future earthquakes in China. China’s Szechwan province recently went through a devastating earthquake on May 12 this year, which resulted in 70,000 deaths and 20,000 missing. Equivalent to 1,200 H-bombs, it pulverized the earth’s crust for more than 280 kilometers, in the space of 90 seconds, destroying entire cities and swallowing up eight million homes. "
Comment: Humans were supposed to take up the 'New Energy' over the time period from 1987 - 2012 to help stabilise the Earth. Unfortunately, the understanding about what was happening on the planet was lost or pushed aside by those with more commercial interests, so we are seeing the Earth respond with this kind of violence, even though we have been spared the most apocalyptic scenario.
"Want to quickly improve your happiness and satisfaction with life? Then the pen may be a mighty weapon, according to research done by Kent State University's Dr. Steven Toepfer."
...Toepfer enlisted students from six courses to explore the effects of writing letters of gratitude to people who had positively impacted the students' lives. Over the course of a six-week period, students wrote one letter every two weeks with the simple ground rules that it had to be positively expressive, required some insight and reflection, were nontrivial and contained a high level of appreciation or gratitude.
After each letter, students completed a survey to gauge their moods, satisfaction with life and feelings of gratitude and happiness.
"I saw their happiness increase after each letter, meaning the more they wrote, the better they felt," says Toepfer, who also witnessed improvement in participants' life satisfaction and gratitude throughout the study. "The most powerful thing in our lives is our social network. It doesn't have to be large, and you don't always need to be the life of the party, but just having one or two significant connections in your life has shown to have terrific psychological and physical benefits."
Comment: This is confirmation of metaphysical teaching that we can all apply on a daily basis. Great News!
Full Story: "THE average attention span of Britons has slumped in recent years because of the pressures of modern life, causing a "surge" in domestic accidents, according to a study. A survey of 1,000 adults by Lloyds TSB showed it had fallen from more than 12 minutes a decade ago to five minutes and seven seconds now. In a test to judge awareness and ability to recall everyday events, the over-50s outperformed younger people, who were more likely to blame stress or too much work for short-term memory loss.
The report said the trend for people to have a shorter attention span was one of the main causes of accidents in the home, such as burnt-out pans or overflowing baths. David Moxon, a social psychologist who led the study, said: "More than ever, research is highlighting a trend in reduced attention and concentration spans, and, as our experiment suggests, the younger generation appear to be the worst afflicted. "Lack of attention has a serious impact on task performance and increases the risk of accidents."
Comment: An attention span that has slumped from 12 minutes to 7 seconds in one decade?
"DOES this picture captured by a Citizen reader prove UFOs really do exist?
It was taken by a 23-year-old man living in the Park Road area of Wisbech just over a week ago. The man, who does not want to be named, caught this unusual light formation in the skies over his home as he watched them silently move over Wisbech with a group of neighbours. The picture was taken between 9pm and 9.30pm last Monday (November 17). He has been left shaken by the 'weird' incident."
Comment: I have no idea whether this is a UFO or UAP. All I know is that we have nearly 4 more years of the 'veil lifting' and the citizens of Earth will be in another world – literally. Actually, this scenario reminds me of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, when the aliens arrive to demolish Earth and one citizen complains they weren't told, but the response was that a public notice was placed in the basement of the Earth planning department. Well as far as I am concerned, the Metaphysical/ New community have been aware for years but it seems there is a pretty much wait and see mode, meanwhile the average citizen has no idea and when they have a close encounter are mostly left shell shocked.
"Astronomers have detected a building block of RNA floating within the hot, compact core of a massive star-forming region in the Milky Way. The molecule appears to have formed with all of the other stuff that makes up planets, suggesting that many other worlds are seeded with some of life's ingredients right from birth. Two of the greatest questions of existence--Are we alone? and How did we get here?--remain unanswered. Clues keep coming, and they are tantalizing. Over the past decade, astronomers have detected organic molecules inside meteorites and even in space (ScienceNOW, 28 March). But these latter substances have not been found in the clouds of dust and gas around new stars that can form planets, making their link to life tenuous."
Comment: All of a sudden, space could be filled with germs as they find more and more organisms in extreme conditions and evidence as described in this article. Scientists are realising organisms could survive in space carried by "comets" for the time it takes to go from one planet to another. This theory is now called "galactic panspermia" and those that originally insisted that life was delivered to the planet, are being vindicated many many decades later.
"An Italian man and his wife were sentenced to life in jail for slitting the throats of four neighbors, including a two-year-old toddler who they said made too much noise, a court said on Wednesday. Olindo Romano and his wife Rosa Bazzi confessed during the investigation to slitting the throats of 30-year-old Raffaella Castagna, her young son Youssef, her mother and a neighbor."

"Camille Parmesan: I don't know of a single scientist that's not having an emotional reaction to losing their study systems. That's biologist Camille Parmesan of the University of Texas at Austin. Camille Parmesan: Some of these people have been studying a particular reef or a particular bird or a particular mammal for 40 to 50 years. And to start seeing it die off is a very hard thing. She's referring to climate change, and she spoke of a reef she's studied for the past seven years – now changing due to rising ocean temperatures. Camille Parmesan: It's gotten to be so depressing that I'm not sure I'm going to go back to this particular site again, because I just know I'm going to see more and more of it dead, and bleached, and covered with brown algae. And it's really quite depressing."
Comment: I would have ignored this report, accept for the fact that it's Camille Parmesan making the statements. She is noted for her paper 'Ecological and Evolutionary Responses to Recent Climate Change', that analysed 866 studies and came to the conclusion that many species are not adjusting well to the new conditions and so are dying out.
"Investigation of the fireball that lit up the skies of Alberta and Saskatchewan on November 20 has determined that an asteroid fragment weighing approximately 10 tonnes entered the Earth's atmosphere over the prairie provinces last Thursday evening."
"The fireball was recorded on all-sky and security cameras scattered across Saskatchewan and Alberta in addition to being witnessed by tens of thousands of people who saw it streak across the sky, saw its arc- welding blue flash, or heard the subsequent explosions." "the fireball was like a billion-watt lightbulb shining in the sky, turning night into day with a bluish white light. It illuminated the ground for several hundred kilometers in all directions including as far south as Vauxhall, Alberta." ""At least half a dozen infrasound stations ranging from Greenland to Utah, including Canada's Lac Du Bonnett, Manitoba and Elgin Field, Ontario stations, recorded energy from the fireball's explosions. The indicated energy is approximately one third of a kiloton of TNT," Brown said."
Comment: Well this event establishes one thing, to get a sonic boom (see previous entry about this event) we need a massive 10 tonne object that will be at least picked up by infrasound stations. Update See 29th November report, 
"Mobiles are bad for your soul, the Vatican warned yesterday. Phones and computers are making the world so noisy and hectic that people cannot cultivate their spiritual dimension. And without a spiritual life 'you will lose your soul', said Father Federico Lombardi, the Pope's spokesman.
The Jesuit priest, who is the director of the Vatican press office, made his remarks on the weekly Vatican TV programme Octavia Dies."
Comment: Hmmm....
"A tool bag lost in space by an American astronaut in an unprecedented blunder last week has been spotted and filmed by a backyard satellite watcher in Canada. Astronaut Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper watched helplessly as the bag drifted away from her while she was cleaning and greasing a a gummed-up joint on a wing of solar panels on the International Space Station."
Comment: There has been a lot of media coverage about an astronaut losing a tool bag when doing repairs on ISS, but this story of an amateur astronomer finding the tool bag amongst all the junk in space is truely amazing and really makes you think..... If a so-called amateur can find something as small as a tool bag, what about other objects that are far bigger that can be seen as they part of the electromagnetic spectrum with sophisticated infra-red, ultra-violet and radar equipment.....
"Flash floods are expected to become Britain's most common natural disaster, leaving in their wake death and destruction - but one researcher is using lightening to try and predict where and when they will occur. Professor Colin Price from Tel Aviv University is studying the link between lightening and subsequent flash floods. His aim is to develop an early warning system for people in the path of a flood. The three-year study includes scientists from five European countries, and its results are expected to be adopted by weather forecasting agencies around the world. Unlike normal floods which arrive slowly and with more warning, flash floods are particularly dangerous because they happen so quickly, developing from thunderstorms that form in a matter of hours." "By measuring the radiation emitted by lightning, researchers can pinpoint the most intense thunderstorms, and the resulting rainfall can be located and tracked."
Comment: There are strong radio signals given off by lightning especially positive lightning, so it seems that these scientists may have found a way to interprete the information.
"China should do more to rebalance its economy from investment, exports and industry to consumption and services as it rolls out a $586 billion stimulus package, the World Bank said.
"Additional measures are necessary to make headway with rebalancing the pattern of growth," the Washington-based lender said today. Steps should include extra spending on health, education and social welfare and raising energy and resource prices, it said."
Comment: We are living in the most interesting times, when there are even demands for financial systems to be rebalanced!!!!
"Now the Czech Republic is about to assume the rotating presidency of the European Union and there is palpable fear that Mr. Klaus will embarrass the world's biggest trading bloc and complicate its efforts to address the economic crisis and expand its powers. His role in the Czech Republic is largely ceremonial, but he remains a powerful force here, has devotees throughout Europe and delights in basking in the spotlight.
"Oh God, Vaclav Klaus will come next," read a recent headline in the Austrian daily Die Presse, in an article anticipating the havoc he could wreak in a union of 470 million people already divided over its future direction."
Comment: Well, I will be thrilled if he get's elected, because he is one of only a few leaders who recognises that we are facing evolutionary change, THANK GOD! See previous entries.
"Tales of aliens and ghosts may seem far-fetched, but they are believed more than God. A survey has found that while 54 per cent of us are convinced the Almighty exists, 58 per cent believe in the supernatural. They found women were more likely to believe in the supernatural than men, and were more likely to visit a medium.
Comment: Well, in most societies, knowledge has been managed, to the extent that in the past, the masses have only been given an "orthodox" range of beliefs, to provide the basis for an understanding of reality. Now that we are facing evolutionary change, to the extent that the fabric of space-time has changed and dimensions are merging, more ordinary folk, sometimes with the use of technology, are experiencing new realities and seeing a spectrum of light beings and other extra terrestrials that exist all around us. These entities are part of universal order, and thus the main challenge for religious and spiritual authorities is to explain the process of spiritual evolution in a completely different framework that until recently has only been understood by a few. Massive evolutionary change is currently ongoing, so traditional church hierarchies really have their work cut out to stay relevant.
"Members of the state's two Masonic organizations — one black, one white — ended 138 years of mutual disregard Friday by signing a resolution recognizing each other as brother Masons. The resolution, signed near the end of a nearly two-hour ceremony full of formality and speeches, ended a vestige of the segregation era, during which the two groups — one white, the other black — spent decades following the ancient tenets and teachings of freemasonry while each pretended the other didn't exist. "Today's a historic day, because we're here to say we're brothers again," said David Cash, a Methodist minister from Kannapolis and grand master of the white group, the Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina.
Comment: What the hell is going on? The 'New Energy' is even effecting die-hard Freemasons!
"Weather conditions across Australia's south-east appear to be easing after the region was battered over the weekend by gale force winds, flooding and snow. State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers have been busy in NSW, Victoria and Queensland's south-east helping people after several days of ferocious storms brought down trees on cars, buildings and roads."
Comment: Well, this is some evidence that the seasons are becoming more chaotic, as this is the week before the official start of summer!
"Late last week came the announcement from the intimidatingly named National Intelligence Council (the 'leading American intelligence organisation') that the end of American hegemony is imminent; that the unipolar world will, before long, cease to exist; that new locations of power are emerging. The shift has been heralded for some time, if not by the US authority that provides 'unvarnished' intelligence to US policy makers; so we already have an idea of what those new locations are. Nevertheless, I found myself scouring the report in the paper to see if my country of birth had been mentioned. In the third paragraph, like characters in a frequently perused novel, I found the emerging economies of India, Brazil and China, which, predictably, seem to be a source of a great deal of the anxiety."
Comment: This article is written by an Indian journalist who is just amazed by the shift of the balance of power taking place in the world, evidenced by Europe & America being set to borrow money from Indian & China! Anyway, it seems that the consciousness that has created the existing system is being transmuted and something better is being created that should support the increasingly higher levels of consciousness for mankind.
"This may be a wealthy country now, but Switzerland endured famine in the 19th century, and those hard times remain in the collective memory. Most Swiss are extremely cautious - they hate the idea of money for nothing, let alone the idea of earning millions while making billion pound mistakes. "Touch their money and the Swiss get mad," says Bernhard Weissberg, editor of the mass circulation Blick newspaper. He should know, his desk is piled high with readers' letters that are so angry you can almost see them smouldering.
"UBS bosses," writes one reader, "give us our money back, or we'll feed you to the crocodiles." That is enough to make the residents of Pirate Square nervous - but UBS bosses do not seem to be able to turn their ship around.
Comment: Most people don't care what is being done by companies that they have invested in, so long as they can earn good dividends and the shares keep going up to keep pace with inflation. However, with the changing energies on the planet, systems are being overturned to support a higher level of consciousness. So will the crocodiles be fed to the crocodiles?
"Here we go again – hurricane season has come to an end and yet another year has failed to produce the widespread pain and suffering that can reinforce the claim that the buildup of greenhouse gases is the root cause of all the damage. We have covered this topic dozens of times in the past, but the literature on the subject never seems to stop oozing right through the distortion of the greenhouse crusaders. We get tired of writing about this subject over and over and we suspect you see this as another in a very long line of essays on the topic…we feel each other's pain."
Comment: LOL!! The data examined here is based on findings that there has been increased hurricane activity in the North Atlantic. Yet, claims that hurricanes are increasing due to global warming are still questioned by many experts who cite an enormous amount of evidence that at the very least suggests this is a very complex question.
"While the Big Three U.S. automakers in Detroit cry for a $25-billion dollar bailout, we should keep in mind the documentary, "Who Killed the Electric Car." This important documentary released in 2006 investigates the "creation, limited commercialization and subsequent destruction of the battery-powered electric vehicle in the United States, specifically the General Motors EV1 of the 1990s. CAR-ma?
Comment: 'A sustainable World' is sentiment that I can resonant with. The final paragraph is quite epic, "The Stone Age didn't end because they ran out of stones. So it should be with the fossil-fuel industry - let's end it before we run out of oil, and before it ends us! I have no problem saying, "Good riddance!" to the oil industry. Let it and these dinosaur automakers remain in the last century. Bring in the sustainable energy age."
"A new, third species of bottlenose dolphin has been discovered in the waters off southern Australia. It is only the second new dolphin to be discovered in 50 years. Luciana Möller of the Marine Mammal Research Group at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and her colleagues were studying populations of what they thought were Indo-Pacific and common bottlenoses in southern waters." "Given the animal's apparent preference for coastal waters subject to pollution, fishing and other potential threats, its status now needs urgent further investigation, she says."
Comment: I can imagine that this discovery is quite an enigma! The question is: how could this be a new disovery when the dolphin has been found relatively close to man in polluted waters? It must be possible that in this case, DNA has rapidly evolved to cope with the environmental conditions.
"Washington DC - The bad news for global warming alarmists just keeps rolling in. Below is a very small sampling of very inconvenient developments for Gore, the United Nations, and the mainstream media. Peer-reviewed studies, analyses, and prominent scientists continue to speak out to refute climate fears."

"Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is not pollution and Global Warming has nothing to do with pollution. The average person has been misled and is confused about what the current Global Warming debate is about, greenhouse gases. None of which has anything to do with air pollution. People are confusing Smog, Carbon Monoxide (CO) and the pollutants in car exhaust with the life supporting, essential trace gas in our atmosphere, Carbon Dioxide (CO2)."
Comment: This report aims to clear up many common misconceptions.
"The world's richest man, Warren Buffet, is nicknamed "The Oracle of Omaha" for his investment foresight. Buffet's reputation is so great that when his investment company, Berkshire Hathaway, invested billions of dollars in companies like Goldman and GE, the stock market rallied on that news alone. Buffet's investing success is such that people figured if The Oracle was buying, the market must have hit bottom." "Economic conditions are so bad that they even blindsided the Oracle."
Comment: What's interesting is that Buffet is just playing by old rules, so after the housing and credit bubble burst, the old game would be for the vultures with cash, to buy at the bottom, but in this financial crisis, it seems the old rules no longer apply....very intereting to watch from a spiritual perspective....
"A vet got more than he bargained for when a cat he was helping in labour gave birth to a two-headed kitten in Western Australia. Veterinarian George Huber and nurse Louisa Burgess had to do a double take when the grey and white freak feline was born with two faces." It was born at the Swan Veterinary Clinic in Perth, Western Australia, when its mother was brought in after suffering complications during birth."
Comment: I have quite a collection now of animals with this DNA mutation, cows, pigs, cats and even a human baby with two faces. Now, I am wondering how long it will take scientists and the mainstream press to start speculating in the media that this might be due to the increase in galactic cosmic radiation hitting our planet.
"An international team of researchers has discovered a puzzling surplus of high-energy electrons bombarding Earth from space. The source of these cosmic rays is unknown, but it must be close to the solar system and it could be made of dark matter. Their results are being reported in the Nov. 20th issue of the journal Nature.
"This is a big discovery," says co-author John Wefel of Louisiana State University. "It's the first time we've seen a discrete source of accelerated cosmic rays standing out from the general galactic background."
Galactic cosmic rays are subatomic particles accelerated to almost light speed by distant supernova explosions and other violent events. They swarm through the Milky Way, forming a haze of high energy particles that enter the solar system from all directions. Cosmic rays consist mostly of protons and heavier atomic nuclei with a dash of electrons and photons spicing the mix."
Comment: Other scientists around the world have noticed that we are being hit by "discrete" sources and this was highlighted in my book.
"The mission assigned to Daniel Everett after he graduated from Chicago's Moody Bible Institute was to change the lives of members of a tiny tribe in the Amazonian rain forest. Everett, along with his wife and three children, were met in the rain forest by the Piraha people of central Brazil -- a primitive culture which has no words for numbers or colors and no concept of war or personal property. They live in the present."
Comment: It must be quite unnerving to live in a culture of happy people that are basically satisfied with very little and demonstrate Christian beliefs without the need for admonishment.

I've written many times about the placement of stations at WWTP's being a bad idea due to the localized heat bubble that is created due to all the effluent coming though. The effect is especially noticeable in winter. Often you'll see steam/water vapor in the air around these sites in winter, and more than one COOP observer has told our volunteers that snow sometimes does not stick to the ground at WWTP's. The larger pole appears to be a gas burnoff torch for excess methane. I can't say how often it is activated (note the automatic ignitor circuit on the pole) but I can tell you that putting an official NOAA climate thermometer within a few feet of such a device is one of the worst examples of thoughtless station placement on the part of NOAA I've ever seen."
Comment: Another classic in the series, but when will the details of this mismanagement hit the mainstream? This defintion provided by Pierre Gosselin (08:11:04), just about sums up the situation; "The United States Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) is a ship-shod, positive-biased data set of daily and monthly records of easy-to-manipulate meteorological variables from over 1000 poorly sited observing stations across the 48 contiguous getting hotter United States." But, apparently it's the best network of it's kind in the world....
"People living on Anglesey have been left baffled about the cause of a loud noise which shook their homes and made pots and pans rattle. Anona Jones said she was in the kitchen of her home at Llanddaniel near Gaerwen when she heard a loud "rumbling" noise at 1425 GMT. A spokesman at the British Geological Survey in Edinburgh said no seismic activity had been measured in the area.
But he added that a number of calls had been received about the noise.
"It was a very obvious noise, and I thought there had been an earthquake," said Mrs Jones. "
Comment: It will be interesting if one of these 'sonic booms' does some serious damage and how our authorities try to explain it to the general public. However, at the moment, I just don't think our scientists are willing to talk about Torsion & Scalar fields fields & the behaviour of solid state plasma, because it's just too advanced, but there are no other known plausible scientific theories. Yet, it may get to the stage where the planetary refresh of plasma or 'New Energy' becomes undeniable and then we will have a very interesting scenario....

The orbit path of the sun as the locations of barycentre and planets alter is complex, as demonstrated by Fairbridge. This divergent behavior causes widely varying outputs of energy from the sun on a regular basis, and these variations in the interactions between the sun and the planets have been assessed by various geological and related studies. The variations in energy correlate with uncanny precision with past vagaries of the Earth's climate on a cyclical basis, the periodicity being about 179 years. The correlations with recurring periods of very cold weather, as evidenced by historical data, can only be described as irrefutable."
Comment: Another global warming sceptic with another line of argument related to the Earth's climate being regulated by the solar system. If you are new to this blog, the sceptism by many scientists from many different disciplines, is not about whether we are experiencing climate change, the scepticism is about whether we are experiencing "global warming" caused by man-made carbon emissions and the scientific arguments are now looking very tenuous.

Comment: Well, it looks like we have a new "green" US president, but thankfully, he is talking about climate change rather than global warming, even though his facts sound like they come straight from Al Gore's 'Inconvenient Truth'.

"Things may seem bad now - with fears of a world recession looming - but they could be set to get much worse. A real-world analysis of a controversial prediction made 30 years ago concludes that economic growth cannot be sustained and we are on track for serious economic collapse this century.
In 1972, the seminal book Limits to Growth by a group called the Club of Rome claimed that exponential growth would eventually lead to economic and environmental collapse. The group used computer models that assessed the interaction of rising populations, pollution, industrial production, resource consumption and food production.
Comment: Well, it obviously needs a crisis for people to start paying attention to predictions that have been coming true for decades. What's encouraging about the current analysis is that there is some hope that we can move away from an "unsustainable trajectory" to a "steady state economy, stopping population growth, resource depletion, and pollution." It will be interesting to see if our leaders pay attention and change course.

Using recent NASA satellite data, researchers have estimated more precisely than ever the heat-trapping effect of water in the air, validating the role of the gas as a critical component of climate change. Andrew Dessler and colleagues from Texas A&M University in College Station confirmed that the heat-amplifying effect of water vapor is potent enough to double the climate warming caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere." "Water vapor is the big player in the atmosphere as far as climate is concerned.""
Comment: What is of more interest, is how a positive feedback from water vapor causes the trivial amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to be so catastrophic because there is no evidence cited here? The scientists are implying that any warming is largely unrelated to the amount of carbon, rather the determining factor is the amount of water vapour!
"VAST numbers of marine "jelly balls" now appearing off the Australian east coast could be part of the planet's mechanism for combating global warming.
The jellyfish-like animals are known as salps and their main food is phytoplankton (marine algae) which absorbs the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide in the top level of the ocean. This in turn comes from the atmosphere."
Comment: Is this a Mother-Earth solution in operation, to balance the sea's marine life due to the increased carbon in the ocean? Whatever, nobody can seriously doubt that the Earth's ecosystems have the ability to maintain an overall balance, as this has been clearly demonstrated over billions of years of it's existence.

"Commercially bred bees used pollinate greenhouse crops may be spreading diseases to wild populations, according to a study conducted by researchers from the University of Toronto and published in the journal PLoS ONE.
Bee populations have been collapsing across North America in recent years, alarming not only scientists but also the food industry. Honeybees alone pollinate 130 different food crops, responsible for $15 billion worth of food and ingredient revenue each year." ""All of the different species of bumblebees that we sampled around greenhouses showed the same pattern: really high levels of infection near greenhouses and then declining levels of infection as you moved out," researcher Michael Otterstatter said. "It was quite obvious that this was coming from the greenhouses and it was a general adverse effect on the bumblebees.""
Comment: The reports about the bee die-off has largely waned but the problem has not gone away. So far, only organic bee-keepers have reported virtually no losses.
"A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore's chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record. This was startling. Across the world there were reports of unseasonal snow and plummeting temperatures last month, from the American Great Plains to China, and from the Alps to New Zealand. China's official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its "worst snowstorm ever". In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration registered 63 local snowfall records and 115 lowest-ever temperatures for the month, and ranked it as only the 70th-warmest October in 114 years."
Comment: Interesting to see this being reported in the mainstream press. It will be even more interesting if the epic series "How not to measure temperature" mainly organised by Anthony Watts and his supporters, on his popular blog WattsUpWithThat.com is publicised. Then the wider public will realise just how poor the world surface temperature data measurements really are. Update This is a report from Steve McIntyre for people who like raw data & the FACTS!

Comment: I think this is an attempt at diverting attention away from declining world temperatures and to get the focus back on business backed carbon emission initiatives. Yes, we do need to clean up man-made pollution for obvious reasons, but until now, this has been ignored because of the cost to businesses. This has all changed. Now, it seems the UN and other "independent" authorities are trying to influence public opinion, some governments are willing to tax to the hilt and companies are now ready to profit in the process of saving the Earth.

Climate change knows three realities: science reality, which is what working scientists deal with every day; virtual reality, which is the wholly imaginary world inside computer climate models; and public reality, which is the socio-political system within which politicians, business people and the general citizenry work.
The science reality is that climate is a complex, dynamic, natural system that no one wholly comprehends, though many scientists understand different small parts. So far, science provides no unambiguous evidence that dangerous or even measurable human-caused global warming is occurring."
Comment: I would also like to add that besides honest science, we need to have meaningful metaphysical insight into understanding our reality. This means that for humanity to move forward there has to be an integration of science and spirituality that helps us to navigate various realities that exist within the universal order.
Comment: 57 photos in 2 parts and some of the UFOs are bizarre. There are a few pictures here that look as if they could qualify as being plasma entities, rather than the standard extraterestrial/manmade UFO designs.

Reports Thursday afternoon of a bright light and trail of smoke in the sky and a separate call about a crashing sound in Lake County northeast of Cleveland sparked a search that involved three helicopters, several police and fire departments and the State Highway Patrol. Madison Township police Sgt. Rick Barson says based on what the witnesses reported, investigators believed an ultralight plane had gone down. But Barson says no wreckage was found.
He says a meteor would be "highly unusual," though he says even a small one has an explosion on impact. By nightfall, no evidence of a meteor had turned up either."
Comment: It was not that long ago that US scientists were trying convince the general public that these fireball events were "once in a life-time", now we are seeing multiple reports in a week....
"It has plagued scientists and politicians for decades, but scientists now say global warming is not the problem. We are actually heading for the next Ice Age, they claim. British and Canadian experts warned the big freeze could bury the east of Britain in 6,000ft of ice. "
Comment: From one extreme to another..... see previous entries on predictions of global cooling and the likelihood of a coming Ice Age.

These formulations are then converted to a programming language so that they can be solved on a computer and integrated forward in discrete time steps over the chosen model domain. A global climate model needs to include component models to represent the oceans, atmosphere, land, and continental ice and the interfacial fluxes between each other."
Comment: In the art of persuasion, computer models are powerful tools, however they are only as good as the input, hence the maxim, "garbage in, garbage out".
"The past two years have seen a "remarkable" downturn in hurricane activity, contradicting predictions of more storms, researchers at Florida State University say. The 2007 and 2008 hurricane seasons had the least tropical activity in the Northern Hemisphere in 30 years, according to Ryan Maue, co-author of a report on Global Tropical Cyclone Activity. "Even though North Atlantic hurricane activity was expectedly above normal, the Western and Eastern Pacific basins have produced considerably fewer than normal typhoons and hurricanes," he said."
Comment: Obviously very disappointing news for those in the media trying to generate global warming hysteria amongst the public.
"An inexplicable new broad region of auroral light has been photographed at Saturn's polar cap. "We've never seen an aurora like this elsewhere," said Tom Stallard, an RCUK Academic Fellow working with Cassini data at the University of Leicester. "It's not just a ring of aurorae like those we've seen at Jupiter or Earth. This one covers an enormous area across the pole. Our current ideas on what forms Saturn's aurorae predict that this region should be empty, so finding such a bright one here is a fantastic surprise."
""Saturn's unique auroral features are telling us there is something special and unforeseen about this planet's magnetosphere and the way it interacts with the solar wind and the planet's atmosphere," said Nick Achilleos, a scientist on the Cassini magnetometer team at the University College London. "Trying to explain its origin will no doubt lead us to physics which uniquely operates in the environment of Saturn."
Comment: Another example of the rapid planetary changes taking place across the whole of our solar system.

Comment: According to metaphysical sources, there has to be a small group of very special people on the planet that perform a role of maintaining a balance of human consciousness. I am not entirely sure how this works and I have no idea if this 18 year old is one of these few people. Apparently, there are thousands of people on the planet 'living off light' and don't eat food, so I agree with the assessment he does not have to be the reincarnation of Buddha.

Comment: Well, this is all so bizarre! It makes you wonder about the capability of all those extremely expensive telescopes and space probes. I think we are traversing a region of space that is highly charged and littered with debris. Rather like a fast highway with lots of the remains of previous car crashes. This is the only explanation for the increased number of reports of meteorites and fireballs that are supposedly once in a life-time events, the only issue is that they keep happening every week!
"A woman claimed yesterday to have seen two balls of lightning in her house in West Wales. Annie Dobson, from Kidwelly, said she was terrified to see the mysterious phenomena bouncing around her home. BBC weather presenter Derek Brockway said the incident was very unusual and potentially deadly."
Comment: It will be interesting to see if there is an increase in these kind of reports as the Earth becomes more charged and the current exchange of Earth's plasma energy generates more electromagnetic chaos.
"Amateur team finds NASA error similar to one they discovered a year ago.
NASA'S Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) is one of the world's primary sources for climate data. GISS issues regular updates on world temperatures based on their analysis of temperature readings from thousands of monitoring stations over the globe. GISS' most recent data release originally reported last October as being extraordinarily warm-- a full 0.78C above normal. This would have made it the warmest October on record; a huge increase over the previous month's data.
Those results set off alarm bells with Steve McIntyre and his gang of Baker Street irregulars at Climateaudit.org. They noted that NASA's data didn't agree at all with the satellite temperature record, which showed October to be very mild, continuing the same trend of slight cooling that has persisted since 1998. So they dug a little deeper."
Comment: It seems Steve McIntyre et al. at Climateaudit.org. are being kept fairly busy making sure that NASA maintains high data standards, especially as this data is being used to influence public opinion on global warming. I imagine there are quite a few red faces at NASA.....
"BERLIN: German police wielding truncheons yesterday beat back environmentalists trying to block a train carrying radioactive nuclear waste from western France to a dump in Germany. In the largest and most violent anti-nuclear protests in Germany since 2001, activists set fire to barricades on the tracks in the north of the country. Police extinguished the blaze with water cannon, and several protesters and police were injured in the confrontation, police said."
Comment: This is exactly what Al Gore has been advocating.
"The surface of the largest known 'plutoid' appears to have changed in recent years, according to new measurements of how elements are layered on its icy surface. But astronomers cannot explain the cause of the apparent change. Eris is the largest known object beyond the orbit of Neptune, weighing nearly a third more than Pluto. It travels on an elongated path around the Sun that takes about 560 years to complete. Astronomers think the distant world is covered by a layer of frozen methane and small amounts of nitrogen ice. When it comes near the Sun, these ices are thought to vaporise from sunlit portions of the surface and condense onto regions in shadow. Eris is now near its farthest point from the Sun, so it is expected to be cold and inactive. But a new study suggests the dwarf planet's surface may have changed in the last few years. "We're really scratching our heads," says author Stephen Tegler of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff." "One possibility is that Eris experienced some recent change in weather that
altered the top several centimetres of its surface, Tegler says. But changes in weather are difficult to explain when Eris is so far from the Sun. "It's very hard to imagine that something that dramatic would be happening on a relatively short time scale", says Mike Brown of Caltech, who was not involved in the study."
Comment: Another example of the rapid planetary changes taking place across the whole of our solar system effecting all the planets and even other objects like this plutoid Eris. Some changes are taking place in a few years and our astrophysicists are really struggling to understand how these changes could take place so rapidly.
"However, some of the most incredible minds on Earth lack this ability to filter irrelevant facts, or perhaps it is more accurate to say that to a savant, the irrelevant IS relevant, and incredibly so. Somehow their brains are able to store and access incredible loads of information, even perceiving and relating to this information in an entirely different way.
Stephen Wiltshire is considered an autistic savant. He has an ability which can certainly be described as a "super power". Sometimes referred to as the "human camera", Wilshire has the unnerving ability to draw exact replicas of intricate structures, buildings and landscapes—virtually anything he lays eyes on—after a quick glance. Without taking notes or drawing rough sketches, Wiltshire methodically replicates what his eyes have seen down to the exact number of windows in tall skyscrapers."
Comment: I find it really interesting that various organisations and military establishments have been investigating and developing the use of certain "super powers" like remote viewing for decades, but in the mainstream media these same "super powers" are questioned. I radically changed my opinion about the use of intuition and other "super powers" after the Asian Tsunami in December 2003 when I heard about animals and isolated tribes running for the hills, but saw the most terrible pictures of hundreds of the rotting bodies of tourists caught by the tsunami. In a so-called modern technological world, there wasn't even the ability to warn people by mobile phone using an emergency text messaging system. I was absolutely apalled, people have been so fooled.

Comment: How do scientists know whether these are new discoveries or examples of rapid evolutionary change if they have never seen these species before?
"The sun is nearly 150 million kilometres away, but it seems to have Earth's rivers on a leash. The flow of a huge South American river - and thus the rainfall that feeds it - appears to rise and fall with the number of sunspots. " "Pablo Mauas of the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina and his colleagues decided to take a different tack by studying the 4000-kilometre-long Paraná river in South America. It has the fourth-largest streamflow in the world and so acts as an indirect indicator of rainfall right across the continent. A gauging station in Corrientes, Argentina, has been measuring the Paraná's streamflow for trade ships since 1904 - unlike on similarly large rivers such as the Amazon or Congo. That meant the team had access to a century's worth of daily measurements. Mauas's team compared the streamflow with an indicator of solar activity: the number of sunspots seen each year on the sun's surface. The more there are, the greater the sun's activity. The researchers found that over a timescale of decades, the streamflow in the Paraná increased and decreased in accordance with the number of sunspots. "There is less than a 0.01 per cent chance that this correlation is by chance," says Mauas (Physical Review Letters, vol 101, p 168501)."
Comment: The link between sunspots and rainfall is well established. I note but this report was keen to reject a link between the sun's activity and global warming.
"Israeli police have had to restore order at one of Christianity's holiest sites after a mass brawl broke out between monks in Jerusalem's Old City.
Fighting erupted between Greek Orthodox and Armenian monks at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the traditional site of Christ's crucifixion. Two monks from each side were detained as dozens of worshippers traded kicks and punches at the shrine, said police. Trouble flared as Armenians prepared to mark the annual Feast of the Cross."
Comment: Well these monks have quite a record of disorderly conduct, but watching the video here of monks kicking and punching being watched by shocked pilgrims is quite an eye opener. I'm sorry to say this, but at least every one knows these guys hate each other. It's better than the charlatans who pretend to be spiritual but secretly plot to stab their enemies in the back and worse.

In another study, at the Bronx V.A. Medical Center, Hare, Joanne Intrator, and others found that psychopaths processed emotional words in a different part of the brain. Instead of showing activity in the limbic region, in the midbrain, which is the emotional-processing center, psychopaths showed activity only in the front of the brain, in the language center. Hare explained to me, "It was as if they could only understand emotions linguistically. They knew the words but not the music, as it were.""
Comment: I have a certain fascination with psychopaths after my own experience with various New Age people, who I now realise must have had some degree of psychopathic behaviour. Researchers estimate that 1 percent of the population are psychopaths with deceptive predatory type natures. It is claimed here that they are capable of "concealing behind a perfect mimicry of normal emotion, fine intelligence, and social responsibility a grossly disabled and irresponsible personality." As the report clearly states, there are "successful psychopaths" who can avoid being locked up. It seems that one of my life lessons is to learn how to identify these type of people and learn how to protect myself and/or walk away. It can be a hard lesson. Despite the serious nature of this article, the way that Eskimoes deal with psychopaths just made me laugh.... "The Yupik Eskimos use the term kunlangeta to describe a man who repeatedly lies, cheats, steals, and takes sexual advantage of women, according to a 1976 study by Jane M. Comment: Well, I really don't want to keep posting UFO/UAP sightings, but this is mainstream news and some of this activity is incredible.

Comment: The Queen sounds like she is just as shocked as everybody else and I wonder how much of her money has gone up in smoke? Whatever, it must be queried, have we encountered an event that was totally unforeseen, an "unknown unknown", a 'Black Swan'? After the volumes being written in the mainstream and alternative media, it is really starting to look like the majority of economists really did not see the massive risk to world financial systems that globalisation could produce. The proverbial butterfly flapped it's wings at the wrong time and place and the dominoes started to fall! (Yes, I know about the mixed metaphors!) Of course there are always the few heretics that give warnings, but whilst the music is playing they are mostly ignored. Hence, there must be a massive crisis of confidence taking place now, nevermind that financial institutions no longer trust each other, how do the worst hit re-build their financial systems when they have been failed by poor risk management analysis that was prevalent throughout the financial world.

Comment: So the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has been censuring scientists who don't "toe the line". David Bellamy was loved by millions of viewers at the peak of his career so I suppose his opinions would have carried a lot of weight. The powers that be must really be in real distress now that so many scientists are prepared to fight the distortion of science and stand up for what they believe in, based on intellectual analysis of the facts.

Possible causes include inbreeding, parasites or pollution that permeates the animals' skin. The mysterious deformations have included five-legged salamanders, frogs with extra limbs and other amphibians born so messed up that they can't survive to reproduce." "High rates of amphibian malformation concern scientists because they threaten the survival of certain important species. And as with the alarming and widespread decline of frogs tied to global warming, the plight of amphibians is thought to suggest something about the overall health of the environment. "Amphibians are a good bio-indicator species — real canaries in the coal mine," Williams said."
Comment: Some research link amphibian deformities with the increase in ultra-violent light caused by a fragile ozone layer. In 2005, there were reports in Europe of

Comment: This article has not got much coverage, even in the alternative
media. I suspect that some may reject certain green initiatives as being too austere, especially when even U.S. prisons are boasting of cost savings and their green credentials.

Comment: Now the human electromagnetic toroidal energy field is evolving to provide the EXACT same function, as the Earth's natural shielding continues to decline and we are increasingly exposed to Space Weather. Comment: Option 2 "Shoot Mirrors Into Space" seems like a different version of the crackpot geo-engineering idea listed last week. Again, constant geo-engineering articles in the media, highlights the increasingly high levels of desperation to prevent evolutionary change. Global temperatures are going down but Space Weather is up! The ozone holes are as big as ever, galactic cosmic rays are flooding the planet and the sun has just started to kick off, predicted by NASA to blast the planet with solar radiation at historic levels.... Removing CO2 will not prevent DNA mutations and evolutionary change, but nobody's talking about that....

Comment: Maybe this is the reason why in metaphysical circles raising Kundalini energy is considered important to rejuventate the brain and body. This often occurs natutally at around age 39, which is EXACTLY when it happened to me. It seems the body and brain are basically refreashed with an additional energy that most sources describe as "stored" in the based of the spine. However, from my own experiences, I think this explanation is too simplistic. I see this energy point like a tap that for most people is shut off, but through spiritual practices it can be loosen to allow an additional flow of energy from cosmic and Earth forces. In the brain, the additional flow of Kundalini energy seems to have the ability to open up new circuits and that explains why "raised" Kundalini is a strongly association with the occurrence of new psychic and intuitive insight. This is my explanation based on my experiences with Kundalini, some of which I have NEVER seen documented anywhere.

AIG built a lot of models which attempted to quantify risk and uncertainty in their financial instruments. They, like many other firms, tried to verify how well these models did, but they only did so on the very data that was used to build the models. Now, if you are a regular reader of this blog, you will know that we often talk about how easy it is to build a model to fit any set of data. In fact, with today's computing power, doing so is only a matter of investing a small amount of time." "What the AIG models failed to account for were the "unknown unknowns" — to use Donald Rumsfeld’s much maligned quotation. They did not quantify the uncertainty of events which they did not know about. They thought that the models quantified the uncertainty of every possible thing that would happen, but of course they did not. Meaning that they were overconfident. AIG's failure is yet another in a long series of lessons that the more complex the situation, the less certain we should be."
Comment: This article is basically about the failure to understand risk and it is quite topical at the moment with the ongoing meltdown of the financial system. I note the reference here to Donald Rumsfeld's hilarious and now famous quote,

Comment: I actually find this quite amusing, because when scientists originally started to discover lots of new sub-atomic particles, some started to suspect that the consciousness of the researchers was actually involved with the experiment, interacting with and creating these new particles. Thus, it seems ironic that just when this Fermilab Collider is being shut down, new particles just appear......

In an interview with Reuters last year, Hawking said he was "not religious in the normal sense." "I believe the universe is governed by the laws of science," he said. "The laws may have been decreed by God, but God does not intervene to break the laws." The Catholic Church teaches "theistic evolution," which accepts evolution as scientific theory. Proponents see no reason why God could not have used an evolutionary process in forming the human species.
Comment: The pope addressing a group of scientists is very interesting, especially after their well known history of brutal repression of the most brilliant minds like the astronomer Galileo, who was only recent pardoned in 1992! I have not always been that nice about cosmologist Stephen Hawkins, but I can't disagree with his statement highlighted here. I am totally fascinated, I wonder what the Catholic Church are up to, maybe they realise that rapid evolutionary change is on the way, driven by spiritual energy from cosmic origins and they want to stay ahead of the curve.......who knows?
"LHASA -- The death toll has risen to seven, and one person remains missing, as a result of the worst snowstorm on record in Tibet, local authorities said Thursday. The seven people killed either frozen to death or were crushed by collapsing buildings. About 144,400 heads of livestock died in the storm, which also knocked out telecommunications and traffic in parts of Shannan prefecture. In Lhunze County, 1,348 people stranded by damaged buildings or blocked roads had been rescued, the county government said. Rescue operation for the remaining 289 trapped was still underway. The worst-hit county had 36 consecutive hours of snowfall from Sunday, with an average snow coverage of 1.5 meters. Four people died and one remained missing in the snowstorm.

Comment: Basically, it seems that if you are not happy within yourself you are less likely to be happy with your partner, but I am sure there are plenty of battle scarred individuals that don't need a researcher telling them something they know from their own experience....

A magnetic portal will open, linking Earth to the sun 93 million miles away. Tons of high-energy particles may flow through the opening before it closes again, around the time you reach the end of the page. Comment: The formation of these "magnetic portals" or Birkeland currents is very much dependent on the region of space, the amount of plasma (ionised particles) and the strength of the local magnetic field. So, this report tells us that there now exists a quick delivery mechanism for particles from the Sun to the Earth, proving that those who still believe that the Earth is isolated in space are as ignorant as those who once thought the Earth was flat. Anyway, this has major implications for when the Earth's atmosphere is suddenly struck by highly charged particles. Therefore Space Weather is now a real issue and of interest for those who are interested in staying balanced, in extreme geomagnetic conditions.

However, since all worldwide levels rose simultaneously throughout the same year, it is now believed this may be part of a natural cycle in mother nature - and not the direct result of man's contributions." Findings like these tell us it's too early to know for sure if man's impact is affecting things at the political cry of "alarming rates." We may simply be going through another natural cycle of warmer and colder times - one that's been observed through a scientific analysis of the Earth to be naturally occuring for hundreds of thousands of years."
Comment: The science is very confused here, methane is supposed to have a "global warming potential" 25 times that of CO2, but studies show that methane is burned off naturally by lightning and then converted to ozone. But separate studies show the destruction of ozone can also destroy methane. However, not many scientists are studying the impact of a decaying magnetic field which also impacts the production of ozone. No wonder the scientists are baffled!

Comment: When I first came across ideas to curb global warming, I thought some of the ideas bordered on the crackpot but as time progressed, the case for global warming has waned, but the ideas for geo-engineering have persisted. Moreover, NASA have informed the world that we are now more exposed to galactic cosmic rays and the phenomena of Space Weather, which some scientists have dared to claim actually effects weather on Earth. It seems obvious to me, that this is the real reason for the panic. OK, it is possible to surmise that we have entrepeneurs desperate to find an idea that will sell and they may or may not get these extreme ideas funded. Yet, there must be considerably disquiet amongst the more astute academics, who know that the paleoclimatic evidence clearly demonstrates that climatic changes are also accompanied by extinction events and evolutionary change.

Comment: Maybe "debate" is too strong a word and "giving the nod" is more appropriate, despite the lack of popular support, see

Scientists studying the physical nature of hate have found that some of the nervous circuits in the brain responsible for it are the same as those that are used during the feeling of romantic love – although love and hate appear to be polar opposites." Comment: The research seems to be telling us that if we hate someone, there's usually a good reason..... Seriously, maybe at some level of our consciousness when we are "in love", it's a matter of choice whether we decide to let all reason and judgement fly out of the window..... Realistically, love-hate relationships exist where people have a poor connection to the source of all love, so normally the most unconnected person, attempts to extract second hand energy by creating episodes of massive drama. This kind of relationship is very unhealthy and completely undesirable for those who are properly connected to source.

Comment: The above conclusion provides us with an opinion based on current scientific methods and these scientists are not alone, many others have come to the same conclusion; "Skelly et al. say that the case for rapid evolutionary responses among many other species "has grown much stronger (e.g., Stockwell et al., 2003; Berteaux et al., 2004; Hariston et al., 2005; Bradshaw and Holzapfel, 2006; Schwartz et al., 2006; Urban et al., 2007)." Epigenetics suggests that the genome can "remember" certain influences to which it is exposed, particularly early in life, which cause modifications to DNA that in turn alter the way it operates. On occasion, these changes may even be passed on from one generation to the next."
Comment: I suppose this gives us a basis to consider how other environmental factors, that we may not have much control over, have the ability to reprogram our genes.

Comment: It's really easy to understand the global warming hoax if you realise that a desperately needed scientific concensus can be used as an engine to create the next major speculative bubble. Think tulips, South Sea Bubble, railways, canals, dot.coms and internet related, and the mortgage and credit bubble currently bursting spectacularly. I think this latest episode is even more insidious because it piggy-backs on a widespread shift in human consciousness that can be related to environmentalism.

But more and more evidence now points to a new theory that the cosmic rays (energy particles that originate in space) play a major role." "Satellite data in the period of 1980-2007, covering two full 11-year solar cycles, demonstrate the significant correlation between cosmic rays and ozone depletion."
Comment: Here we have another example of a cosmic caused phenomenon that has been wrongly attributed to human (anthropogenic) causes. It seems that in this report, scientists are attempting to set the record straight by linking the ozone hole to cosmic rays, whilst others also cite the decline of the Earth's magnetic field. The destruction of the ozone layer is held in check by the horizontal component of the Earth's magnetic field which is strongest at the equator and this explains why the ozone hole is over the polar regions (70% Antarctica, 30% Artic). Theory would dictate that the mid-latitude northern hemisphere, the location of the most industrialised and polluted parts of the world, where ozone destroying man-made chemicals, chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) compounds and ozone depleting substances (ODS) are to be found, should be the location of the ozone hole, NOT Antartica which is one of the most pristine places left on the planet. Thus, we can see why the 
"Since 6.30pm on Wednesday, The Evening Telegraph has been inundated with calls and e-mails from readers who saw a strange fireball cutting a swath across the heavens for several minutes." "The most likely explanation, according to RAF Wittering-based Met Office weather forecaster and keen astronomer Julian Cooke, is that it was an "unusually large" meteor." "Another astronomer, 38-year-old Jason Hart, of Orton Brimbles, Peterborough, reckons the spectacle could also have been an "iridium flare" – when the light of the sun hits reflective surfaces on satellites orbiting the earth, creating a streak of bright, white light. But if the accounts of regulars and staff at the Dragon pub in Werrington are to be believed, the phenomenon was more in keeping with Mr Cooke's fireball explanation. Pub manager Janek Skutela said: "It looked like a bright orange ball, and about 20 of us went outside the pub to watch it after one regular came in and said he could see a UFO. "At first it shot across the sky really fast but then it went really slowly before disappearing into the distance. All in all it lasted about seven or eight minutes. "We couldn't work out what it was but there were reports of a similar thing happening a fortnight before. One of our customers saw it but didn't say anything because he was scared everyone would take the mickey out of him.""
Comment: Well it's all happening in the UK! So here we have the new phenomena of an "unusually large" fireball shooting across the sky, and then slowing down to go about it's business at a more leisurely pace! I think we have another example of the arrival of a magnetospheric plasmoid and the general public have no idea because this would most certainly upset the prevailing understanding of reality! This is really exciting stuff!
"A Polish white van man who was too sure of his sat-nav ended up neck-deep in a lake after ignoring road signs warning of a dead-end ahead, Polish police said today. The road hasn't been used for a year after it was flooded out when an artificial lake was created. It was dark and the un-named driver had been drinking, but he still managed to miss three signs warning him there was a lake ahead."
Comment: I have previously discussed the issue of GPS being inaccurate when there are geomagnetic storms. Here, this incidence reminds me of someone unconscious and not taking responsibility for what is happening around them. Therefore they have been lulled into a false sense of security by the hypnotic Sat-Nav that they have falsely believed is always right. Here the guidance was simply not enough and basics like watching the road and road signs were ignored until it was too late. This is a good metaphor for many people now in shock as they have blindly trusted governments and financial agencies implicity. They are now in a state of shock as many have been well and truly mislead, but the signs that we have been headed for financial catastrophe have been there for years.

"In the past six months, the science has grown even more convincing that global warming is not a crisis. Opinion polls and political events, including the defeat of 'cap-and-trade' legislation in the U.S. Senate, also suggest this 'crisis' is over. It has been cancelled by sound science and common sense.""

"An international team of scientists has discovered microscopic, magnetic fossils resembling spears and spindles, unlike anything previously seen, among sediment layers deposited during an ancient global-warming event along the Atlantic coastal plain of the United States." "Fifty-five million years ago, Earth warmed by more than 9 degrees Fahrenheit after huge amounts of carbon entered the atmosphere over a period of just a few thousand years. Although this ancient global-warming episode, known as the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM), remains incompletely explained, it might offer analogies for possible global warming in the future."
Comment: An historical precedent for evolutionary change, magnetism and new geometry. Here, we have a real example of global warming driven by a cosmic source which drove evolutionary change as, "Almost half of the common sea bottom-dwelling microorganisms known as foraminifera became extinct", and other bacteria evolved as "a fossil bloom of bacteria that make iron-oxide magnets within their cells, but also an entirely unknown set of organisms that grew magnetic crystals to giant sizes." The report ends up by stating, "These fossils may be telling a story of radical environmental transformation." Now, in this current episode of transformation, humans are also required to encorporate a higher level of magnetism or else they will become extinct. Please note that according to these scientists, the unique "spearhead" geometry, not found anywhere else in the paleontological annals, was caused by "strange climate conditions". Thus, it seems life on Earth responding to atmospheric changes by changing geometry is not unprecedented.
"MADRID (AFP) — Former Spanish prime minister Jose Maria Aznar Wednesday dismissed climate change as a "new religion" that is drawing hundreds of billions of euros at a time of economic crisis. Aznar made the remarks at the presentation of a book by Czech President Vaclav Klaus, "Blue Planet in Green Shackles", in which he also questions the widely held theories about climate change. "In these times of global cooling of the international economy ... the standard bearers of the climatic apocalypse demand hundreds of billions of euros" to combat global warming, said Aznar."
Comment: There is an interesting blend of global warming heretics these days...
"While a pink sky at night might be a shepherd's delight, London residents were left scratching their heads last night as a mysterious pink cloud drifted over the city. Bemused bystanders in Mayfair craned their necks to witness the strange alien-like cloud that appeared for just under an hour at around 8:30pm. It hovered over buildings before breaking up and slowly disappearing."
Comment: Nice pictures. I think this is another example of "old energy" that have been forced out of the Earth as part of the massive cleanse now taking place worldwide. The pink is reminiscent of the one of the colours seen in the upside rainbow clouds that occurred just before the massive Sichuan Earthquake in China, see YouTube video (3:23)
"The U.S. government has approved the first non-invasive brain stimulator to treat depression - a device that beams magnetic pulses through the skull. The pulses trigger small electrical charges that spark brain cells to fire.
The stimulator, called 'Transcranial magnetic stimulation' or TMS, causes less risk than other methods such as surgically implanted electrodes or the last resort of shock therapy." For depression, psychiatrists aim the magnet at the left front of the head, the prefrontal cortex. TMS did prove to be very safe: Patients in the NeuroStar study suffered no seizures or memory problems like shock therapy can cause, or other reactions throughout the body. The chief complaint from the sessions was headaches."
Comment: Humans are electromagnetic beings and the brain functions electromagnetically. Research has shown that when the two hemispheres of the brain are not in balance then depression will ensue. Here scientists are using the TMS to re-balance, yet alternative practitioners are also able to work with the human electromagnetic field and specifically the higher dimensional 'rings of energy' seen around the head by intuitives to re-balance.
"The evening of September 5, 2008, ESA (the European Space Agency) successfully flew its unmanned "Rosetta" spacecraft within 500-miles of a tiny (~ 3 miles across), newly-discovered (1969) asteroid, known as "2867 Steins." The diminutive asteroid was not the prime objective of Rosetta's eleven-year projected Mission ... but only an interim "port of call" (one of two asteroid fly-bys on Rosetta's highly involved itinerary."
Comment: Honestly, I am not sure about this report that suggests that Steins is a purely artifical hollow "three-mile-wide, space platform" subject to a massive blast 65 million years ago. However, there are many interesting observations and the classification of Steins as an "E-class" asteroid which is historically shown to have unique reponses to reflected radar signals is very interesting. Hence the comparison given here with the Apollo Project, in designing arrays of optical, diamond-shaped prisms for the "Moonbounce laser experiments". We are told that the "diamond cut" has the unique property of reflecting the incoming energy (be it light or microwaves ... ) directly back along the incident path ... a property called "retroreflection". Thus the diamond-shaped prisms act as "passive beacons". This reminds me of Dr Paul LaViolette's claims that there is evidence for the existence of interstellar radio beacons of extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI) origin (pulsars) that are beaming signals toward our solar system. "Despite thousands of years of research, astronomers know next to nothing about how the universe is structured. One strong and accepted theory is that large galaxies are clustered together on structures similar to giant soap bubbles, with tinier galaxies sprinkled on the surface of this "soapy" layer.
New observations from Tel Aviv University are giving new strength to this theory. A team led by Dr. Noah Brosch, Director of the Tel Aviv University-owned Wise Observatory, is the first in the world to uncover what they believe are visible traces of a "filament" of dark matter -- an entity on which galaxies meet, cluster and form. A filament can originate at the junction of two "soap bubbles," where the thin membrane is thicker."
Comment: Astronomers may know next to nothing about how the universe is structured, but plasma cosmologists have been able to correctly predict these cosmic features and reproduce them in the laboratory!
"Dr David McComas, principal investigator on the IBEX mission, said: "It is a fascinating interaction that our sun has with the galaxy surrounding us. This million mile an hour wind inflates this protective bubble that keeps us safe from intergalactic cosmic rays. "With less pressure on the inside, the interaction at the boundaries becomes weaker and the heliosphere as a whole gets smaller." If the heliosphere continues to weaken, scientists fear that the amount of cosmic radiation reaching the inner parts of our solar system, including Earth, will increase. This could result in growing levels of disruption to electrical equipment, damage satellites and potentially even harm life on Earth. But Dr McComas added that it was still unclear exactly what would happen if the heliosphere continued to weaken or what even what the timescale for changes in the heliosphere are. He said: "There is no imminent danger, but it is hard to know what the future holds. Certainly if the solar wind pressure was to continue to go down and the heliosphere were to almost evaporate then we would be in this sea of galactic cosmic rays. That could have some large effects."
Comment: Dr McComas is braver than me and has dared to suggest that the heliosphere might "evaporate". Yet, in presenting the facts mixed with speculation by NASA scientists, the general public are not being told that this is happening in conjunction with galactic cycles and Earth's precession (slow wobble on it's axis that takes approx. 26,000 years) where we are now directly aligning with the center of our galaxy, so we will be fully exposed to galactic space weather. Nevertheless, the world has now received official notification and validation of prophecies by Mayan Elders, that we are entering a New Age dominated by space or the aether. Moreover, the implications are that we will experience tremendous evolutionary change as the Earth is bombarded by increasing amounts of highly electromagnetic sources of energy, as discussed in my book, Tuning the Diamonds: Electromagnetism & Spiritual Evolution. "The Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) is on a two-year mission to take pictures and chart the mysterious confines of the solar system, located billions of kilometers (miles) from Earth. The IBEX is equipped with instruments that will allow it to take images and for the first time chart a remote region known as the interstellar boundary, where the solar system meets interstellar space. The area is a vast expanse of turbulent gas and twisting magnetic fields. "The interstellar boundary regions are critical because they shield us from the vast majority of dangerous galactic cosmic rays, which otherwise would penetrate into Earth's orbit and make human spaceflight much more dangerous,"
Comment: NASA has informed the world, that the natural shielding of our solar system, generated by the solar wind, is rapidly declining as part of a long term trend. This is at the same time that the Earth's magnetic field, which acts as another level of defense is also dropping, permitting more cosmic radiation to penetrate Earth's atmosphere with greater ease. My research indicates that we have entered a region of space that is filled with birkeland currents or cosmic string which is delivering highly catalytic energies to Earth and driving evolutionary change. An analogy would be that we have hit an area that is like a spoke in a wheel filled with more highly charged energies fast-tracked from the galactic centre. The evidence is discussed in my book and on this weblog. Research shows that the Earth is experiencing "Extensive Air Showers" and NASA will admit there is a signifcant jump in high energy (GeV) electrons by about 20%, a minor but telltale component of cosmic rays around Earth. Hence, we can conclude that the minimum effect will be increased DNA mutations that will be passed on to future generations.
"University of Arizona scientists experimenting with some of the coldest gases in the universe have discovered that when atoms in the gas get cold enough, they can spontaneously spin up into what might be described as quantum mechanical twisters or hurricanes." Comment: Here we must understand that scientists are now modelling the aether as a superfluid, so this research with Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) helps us to understand the nature of 'cold' plasmas and what has been called the 'The Cosmic Lattice'. Thus 'holes' or 'hurricanes' in the aether follow geometric patterns and exist at the microscopic and macroscopic levels. This research is mentioned in my book along with Harold Aspden's Aether lattice Theory, which provide some theoretical explanation for origins of 'cosmic string' or 'topological defects', which are described three dimensionally here as 'hurricanes'. At the macroscopic level, cosmic string traverses the universe and are also described as 'celestial superhighways', at the microscopic level, they exist at the level of our DNA, permitting a crossover of higher dimensional energy.

Comment: I have recently moved to the beautiful country of switzerland. In sharing about my book and beliefs, I was told that the Swiss were very conservative and would not be interested in my message that the world is facing evolutionary change being driven by space weather or 'New Energy'. My informer had a genuine belief that Switzerland was immune from the changes taking place on the planet and somehow was ring-fenced.... somehow cosmic radiation would side-step Switzerland..... Now, not even a month or so later, the country's prized financial reputation is on the line and Switzerland is being compared to Iceland, to many this turnaround is totally incredible! Yet, in the the process of evolutionary change, everything is being inspected, including the financial world and if necessary changed, in order to support a new higher level of consciousness for mankind.
"New research suggests that lightening and volcanoes may have sparked early life on Earth." "It is commonly thought that early Earth was comprised of many small volcanic islands. This study suggests that lightning and the release of gases associated with these volcanic eruptions could have produced the necessary chemical components to give rise to early life."
Comment: Scientific experiments prove that without the catalyst of electromagnetic energy, the divine "spark", there can be no life. Yet it seems that electromagnetic energy is not enough and scientists tell that the pieces that make up complex biomolecules do not readily come together by themselves. This has been a major obstacle for origin-of-life theories, but this has been overcome by suggesting diamonds can impose a rigid order on molecules near its surface, enabling biomolecule manufacturing. What's more, this is most likely to occur in or in the vicinity of volcanoes on early Earth. Astrobiologists suggest that the diamond geometry has very special properties that have unique ordering effects and promote greater molecular complexity. This understanding is especially relevant as it is now raining diamonds (highly catalytic electromagnetic plasma) and the metaphysically astute are being encouraged to use the diamond geometry to facilitate their evolutionary progression. Comment: Officially it's a no-show. Blossum Goochild gives a message here where she is clearly very very upset. Obviously, the main lesson here is discernment. Just because you can channel, ie pick up information from a transpersonal source, does not mean that the information is worth listening to. As previously stated, I was really interested in the speculation about 'diamond light ships', which I interpreted as being related to the 'diamond rain' phenomena. However, there was certainly no obvious space weather event that could be related to the 14th October.

Comment: Spiritual leaders vary in their intelligence, education and ethics, yet they are given a disproportinate level of power by people in their sphere of influence. Nevertheless, it is part of an individuals spiritual evolution to learn discernment and acquire wisdom to process information through their own consciousness to support their wellbeing. My suggestion is that if you think you need a spiritual leader, then find one who knows how to empower, rather than someone who attempts to control as many aspects of your life as possible.....
"Scientists Challenge UK Govt Climate Committee to 'Drop flawed science and the Climate Change millstone - Save the economy'. CO2 is the Gas Of Life ('GOL'), it is not a problem. The recommendation that the UK cut its greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80 per cent* is "total madness based on false science" said Piers Corbyn of WeatherAction long range forecasters.
"There is no evidence that Carbon dioxide has ever controlled, is controlling or will ever control world temperatures or climate and I challenge the promoters of this nonsense to produce evidence to justify their policies - or drop them, just as 13 world scientists** have similarly challenged the UN.
Comment: Please remember, global warming lies are being perpetuated by the same kind of people who have driven the world to the brink of financial destruction and now see the chaos of evolutionary change as the next big business venture.

Comment: This just goes to show that our scientific understanding of how to balance humans electromagnetically to generate healing is still at it's infancy and there is a still a very long way to go.
"The 200-foot-long toy rabbit lies on the side of the 5,000 foot high Colletto Fava mountain in northern Italy's Piedmont region. The pink rabbit was knitted by Gelitin, the Viennese art collective, as an outdoor sculpture for people to climb on, sleep on, and generally play with. It is made of soft, waterproof, materials and is stuffed with straw. Gelatin say it was "knitted by dozens of grannies out of pink wool". Wolfgang Gantner, a group member said: "It's supposed to make you feel small, like Gulliver. You walk around it and you can't help but smile."
Comment: LOL!! Sorry, I could not resist this and reminds me of Wallace and Gromit.... I am sure the kids would love it but our extra-terestrial onlookers might see this as another example of crazy humans, who knows?
"Canberra - An error in the automatic pilot system caused an Airbus jet to plummet last week, injuring scores of passengers on a Qantas flight from Singapore to Perth, Australia's air safety agency said on Tuesday. The incident was an "unique event", but was serious enough to prompt Airbus to issue emergency guidelines to airlines worldwide operating the Airbus A330-300 in the event of a similar emergency, Australian Transport Safety Bureau director Julian Walsh told reporters in Canberra. "Incorrect values led to the flight control computers commanding a nose down aircraft movement and the aircraft pitching down," Walsh said."
Comment: Obviously the report is still quite vague but we are told, "The glitch occurred in an air data inertial reference unit, which feeds information to the aircraft's main computer and had never been encountered during any previous A330-300 flights, Walsh said. The flight sensor led the computer to incorrectly determine the jet was climbing when actually in level flight...". The question here is; are they seriously trying to tell us that software that controlled the auto-pilot has not been throughly tested.... and they have just discovered a 'computer bug'..... I have spent many years working with software packages and this statement is absolutely incredible when you consider that lives are at risk....

The house of cards has fallen down, and revealed a hole of derivatives-based debt that could not be filled, literally, by all the money in the world, much less by the mere trillions that national governments are frantically throwing at it today."
Comment: Some interesting facts here about Barclays Bank UK, like most people, I was taken in by the make believe air of invincibility surrounding this bank, yet we find, "...a single bank in Britain, Barclays again, holds more than $2.4 trillion in credit default swaps, the tradable "insurance" mechanism against securities default. This is more than the entire GDP of Great Britain. If all this paper goes bad, there are not enough assets in the entire country to pay it off. And that's just one bank, in one country." Remember the recent July 2008 Bloomberg report

The Hubble Space Telescope observed the comet, but provided few clues. And now, observations taken of the comet after the explosion by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope deepen the mystery, showing oddly behaving streamers in the shell of dust surrounding the nucleus of the comet."
Comment: Nice to see a follow-up article on Comet Holmes, which caused great excitement in the astronomical community back in October 2007, if not some embarrassment when a supposedly inoculous lump of rock and ice miraculously light up like a fairy light on a christmas tree and then became the largest object in our solar system, yes bigger than the Sun. Oh happy days....
"The Sun is now in the quietest phase of its 11-year activity cycle, the solar minimum - in fact, it has been unusually quiet this year - with over 200 days so far with no observed sunspots. The solar wind has also dropped to its lowest levels in 50 years. Scientists are unsure of the significance of this unusual calm, but are continually monitoring our closest star with an array of telescopes and satellites."
Comment: Amazing quality pictures of the Sun, yet the most interesting is image 3, which shows "Space Weather", in this case a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), causing the detachment of a comet's plasma tail.
"The 2008 tornado season is on track to set a record for the number of tornadoes in the USA, according to National Weather Service data.
Through July, 1,390 tornadoes were officially recorded in the first seven months of a year — the most ever. The annual record for tornadoes in the USA is 1,817, set in 2004. "This year, every month has been above average for tornadoes," says Greg Forbes, of the Weather Channel."
Comment: The high tornado count is highly symtomatic of the chaotic electromagnetic environment and simply does nor represent the result of clashes of hot moist air and cold air often cited by scientists. Since global mean temperatures have declined, theory suggests that tornadoes should decline too, but obviously there are other factors at play that are giving us an increase in tornadoes and some in places that have rarely experienced them before. However, if you want the conventional rebuttal, here is the opinion of Professor Tim Ball, 
"Sources quoting officials told NAK that Fire broke out in the Chui Draman village late last night under mysterious circumstances and it soon engulfed the entire village, sources said adding the initial reports available with the district administration reveal that 58 residential houses, 58 cowsheds, 8 shops and a local Masjid has suffered total damage in the devastating fire, while 21 other residential structures were partially damaged."
Comment: Well, it's inevitable that some of these fireballs will hit a populated region and cause a serious fire, but in recent times, only relatively small incidents like this have been recorded. Researchers suspect the Great Fire of London in 1666 and the Chicago Fire in 1872 were cometary in origin because the evidence shows many fires broke out simultaneously over a wide area. In the case of the Chicago Fire, it was linked to the break-up of Comet Biela and other similar events that lasted over a period of months. The eye witness accounts are terrifying and rank with ancient accounts of similar conflagrations. You can find some incredible footage of a desert meteorite/fireball video (29 secs) on YouTube 
"All barn owls are precious, but none more than this jet-black two year old.
Sable has melanism - a 100,000-to-one gene mutation that makes her the opposite to an albino." "'Strangely, Sable is much stronger than a normal barn owl whereas an albino is weaker and has a bad immune system. However, if she got out into the wild she'd be dead in 12 hours. You would think black would work at night but in reality she would be mobbed and killed by other owls.'"
Comment: I am happy to report another example of a rare mutation and I suggest that there will be many more to come as part of the evolutionary change now gripping this planet.
"The white feathers, which are very rare, are the result of a condition known as leucism. This affects the pigmentation of the skin but unlike albinism it does not turn the eyes pink. Sometimes leucism affects just parts of a bird's body, so you get blackbirds with white heads or wing patches. 'It is not too rare to see part white sparrows but I think this is a little bit unusual because this one is completely white,' said Mr Lloyd. 'I have read that these white sparrows are picked on and sometimes its own kind can turn against it. What I found unusual is that this one was so comfortable with the rest of the sparrows.' An RSPB spokesman said the bird could have a shorter lifespan than usual, adding: 'Sometimes they can live absolutely normal lives with no problem at all, but equally if it doesn't benefit from the same camouflage characteristics as the other birds it can be more prone to predation from natural predators like sparrowhawks.'"
Comment: The 'rarities' are becoming much more common and so at this time, we can only take note and see if there is a clear evolutionary trend taking place.

Comment: Please note that in the opening paragraphs, the subject of human evolution is side-stepped and we are encouraged to consider evolution at the galactic scale. We are then given details of objects in space that are clearly symptomatic of plasma phenomena in an electromagnetic universe, but instead we are offered extremely poor explanations like "tidal forces", "hot gas" and "fireballs". It is apparent, that there is a very definite tier system within the scientific community and when trying to work out the truth, we have to identify who is blindly following old text books and who are the real scientists, using the true scientific method that include theory, observational data and laboratory experimentation to backup their conclusions.
"A poor soldering job on one of 10,000 connections is the most likely cause of the failure that sidelined the world's largest atom smasher days after the start of the new collider, a senior scientist said. "It is very probable that there was a connection that wasn't good," said Lyn Evans, project leader of the new Large Hadron Collider at CERN, the European Nuclear Research Organisation. Mr Evans said the source of the problem was small.
"It happens quite often in electrical connections," he said, adding that he thought the fault resulted from human error on one electrical connection.

Comment: Well, as the Earth's shielding drops and cosmic and galactic radiation floods our planet, DNA mutations WILL become more prevalent and most scientists are in no doubt that this will FORCE evolutionary change. The evidence shows this has happened before in the past and has to be considered regardless of whether there is enough evidence that suggests the blueprints that control DNA processing will or have already been changed. This understanding explains why some in the metaphysical community have been actively working with "New Energy" to protect their energy field which holds the information for our physical, mental, emotion and spiritual nature and have sought to allow themselves to evolve to comply with the evolutionary destiny of mankind.

Comment: Here scientists are admitting the failure of "reductionism" and that "unknown" properties influence the behaviour of individual parts. Depending on which scientists you talk to, some have evidence of an "unseen" world that they can substantiate with sound theoretical explanations. Most importantly, when scientists try to model living systems, including the Earth's biosphere, they certainly don't have all the parameters to make sound predictions.

Though to read his latest update on 10/03/08 at his prediction page here, you wouldn't know it, because the page is mostly tech speak and reviews of semi relevant papers." Comment: This is an update on the anticipated mass UFO sighting predicted by Blossom Goodchild. It is now being speculated that we will have a visitation of diamond light ships!!!!! Now I'm intrigued! However, if someone channelled that we would have a major blast of space weather with many reports of plasma generated diamond light phenomena, I think the whole scenario would be more believable. Please note the comment, "We are coming in light ships that look like diamonds. This alone will dazzle you and hold you in speculative captivity long enough for you to lose control of your rational linear thinking." At this moment of time, I would prefer to keep my wits about me and that's my personal choice.

Comment: Scientific fraud has always been an issue, even in the nost genteel of the sciences, botany. Here, the article laments why an eminent botanist would "...would waste so much time and effort when botanists have just as much chance of becoming famous by finding real discoveries." The real question is; why would someone want to cause doubt that Scotland had experienced an Ice Age? Maybe, we should consider that this seemingly strange behaviour, as part of ongoing efforts to manipulate the evidence of Earth's true history, which on more than a superficial basis, reveals cycles of change that sometimes bring catastrophe for mankind.

Comment: The research highlighted by these awards does tend to border on the crackpot, but in the past some highly controversial and serious research has also been given an award, thus tarnishing the reputation of the scientists involved and their cutting edge scientific research.
"Committed to the Kyoto Protocol, New Zealand promised to cut its emissions to 1990 levels. The country's biggest source is methane from cattle, and as Stephen Evans discovers, the issue is raising a stink among local farmers." "First, the New Zealand government came up with the idea of putting a levy on the global-warming emissions of sheep and cows.
These ruminant animals, as they are called, these hoofed beasts which chew the cud in the various compartments of their stomachs - produce methane which they then emit. And this methane is by far the biggest global warming polluter in New Zealand, about half the total, in fact, there being little manufacturing to speak of. And New Zealand, seeing itself as a good global citizen, committed itself to reduce its global warming emissions to 1990 levels.
Hence the levy, or "tax" as farmers like Frank immediately called it. In fact, a "Fart tax" - Fart, standing of course, for the Fight Against Ridiculous Taxes."
Comment: There can be no doubt that some have already fallen into total insanity.....
"New research published in the journal Science explains why individuals seek to find and impose order on an unruly world through superstition, rituals and conspiratorial explanations by linking a loss of control to individual perceptions. The research finds that a quest for structure or understanding leads people to trick themselves into seeing and believing connections that simply don't exist." "Through a series of six experiments, the researchers showed that individuals who lacked control were more likely to see images that did not exist, perceive conspiracies, and develop superstitions.
"The less control people have over their lives, the more likely they are to try and regain control through mental gymnastics," said Galinsky. "Feelings of control are so important to people that a lack of control is inherently threatening. While some misperceptions can be bad or lead one astray, they're extremely common and most likely satisfy a deep and enduring psychological need." "
Comment: People who have this deep seated need for control reflects where they are in their evolutionary progression, which can be calibrated by various psychological yardsticks developed over many decades. The conclusion that people can regain feelings of control by focusing on important personal values which then normalizes their perceptions and behaviors is enlightening.

Comment: Vaclav Klaus appeals to the politically astute and his perspective is from a politician who has seen the misuse of power with communism. To his great credit, Klaus also understands that we are at the point where there can be a "spontaneous evolution of human society", which he has stressed before and he sees the political framework being adjusted to suppress this evolution. There does not seem to be many others in high office that understand this unfolding reality and are prepared to challenge the status quo.
"Tree power might sound like a hippie battle cry, but scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have literally tapped into the tiny electrical current carried in trees and created a company, Voltree, to capitalize on it as a power source. "People have known about this phenomena for many years and have tried to explain it by various exotic mechanisms," said Andreas Mershin, a postdoctoral researcher at MIT who is involved in the research. Comment: It is scientific FACT discovered 4 decades ago that tree voltages react to cycles of the moon, geomagnetic storms and sunspots, the same as humans.
"A test spacecraft for Europe's future satellite-navigation system has been rocked by a surge of space radiation. The incident forced the Giove-B satellite to adopt a "safe mode" for two weeks in which only essential power systems were kept running. European Space Agency (Esa) engineers have brought the satellite back up and are now studying what happened."

Comment: It is really starting to look like organised chaos, but how many are awake enough to organise themelves to cope with the disruption. I suppose government organisations and the elite will have their own generators so they will manage, but everybody else will be on their own. I believe it's time for the free energy devices to be bought and sold commercially so that people can be given some choice. If governments can not provide, then people have to provide for themselves.
