The News of The Imbalance blog is an attempt to provide pertinent information concerning the new phenomena of space weather driving massive evolutionary change. In 2006, I self-published the book Tuning the Diamonds: Electromagnetism & Spiritual Evolution (2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 ), because I believed that Modern Mayan Elders were trying to point out that the citizens of planet Earth were entering a New World Age dominated by aether or space. GREEN FLASH, BLUE FLASH: Green flashes at sunset are rare. Indeed, they were once thought mythological. Blue flashes are rarer still. On June 21st Göran Strand of Frösön, Sweden, saw them both in a single sunset:

"Tonight the weather was incredibly clear and fine, so I went out to photograph the sunset--and this was the result," says Strand. "The time interval between the first and last frames is 1 minute and 14 seconds."

Green flashes are formed when the prismatic action of the atmosphere splits the setting sun into basic R-G-B colors. Temperature inversions create a mirage, magnifying the green into an eye-catching flash.

Blues flashes are formed in the same way, but they are generally harder to see than green flashes, because blue flashes blend into the surrounding blue sky. When the air is exceptionally clear, however, the blue flash emerges.

It was initially thought that this was mainly due to alpha particles emitted by contaminants in chip packaging material, but research[1] has shown that the majority of one-off ("soft") errors in DRAM chips occur as a result of background radiation, chiefly neutrons from cosmic ray secondaries, which may change the contents of one or more memory cells or interfere with the circuitry used to read/write them.

  Could cosmic rays affect electronics here on Earth? Yes, absolutely. Could cosmic rays be what's causing the mysterious accelerator problems in Toyota cars? Maybe. That's one of the reasons why a NASA engineering team has been called in to assist in a federal investigation.
  
  The team - drawn from the NASA Engineering and Safety Center, or NESC - serves as the space agency's rapid-response unit for engineering expertise. It was set up in the wake of the 2003 Columbia tragedy, in response to investigators' concerns that NASA didn't have an independent safety watchdog.
  
  Comment: The solar wind used to be described as a bullet proof vest that batted away most cosmic rays but now it's flagging at an all time low and the heliospheric current sheet is flattening out, NASA are expecting if this happens cosmic rays will go up another 30% above the current high, see Cosmic Rays Hit Space Age High! The European Space Agency ESA) have told us straight that the Earth's magnetic field is full of rifts and occassionally disappears on the daylight side see, Multiple rifts in Earth's magnetic shield but at the time, they had forgotten to update their own tutorial that tells us that we don't have to worry about cosmic rays as we are protected by Earth's "strong magnetic field". So far, space agencies appear very coy about providing any statistics about how much protection is now being provided in comparison to historical levels. However, the ESA did claim that there is no need to worry as the Earth's atmosphere acts like a bullet proof vest but if that was true, then we would not have the influence on cloud formation and 10,000 muons (secondary particles generated from primary cosmic rays) would not be passing through our bodies every minute. It is also worth noticing that scientists have been telling us that there are discreet sources that seem to be 'targetting' Earth and even talk of dark energy sources that are being directly aimed at Earth. At the time, these reports were noted, but it has to be said they have been mostly short on quantitative facts and figures. However, we do know there is an issue as international efforts have been set up to monitor the situation as described in my book, Tuning the Diamonds: Electromagnetism and Spiritual Evolution. The use of the term “denier” does your journal a disservice, both for its vagueness and for its insulting overtone.  

What does a “denier” deny? Certainly not Climate Change: nor global warming since records began in the late 19th century: nor the likelihood of human influence on temperatures. What, then?

"But surely there are more people in the New Age and New Consciousness movements who are scientifically literate enough to reject Hawkins' contrived calibration? How come so many seem to be silent in this debate?"

Louis J. Lanzerotti, distinguished research professor of physics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Center for Solar-Terrestrial Research, provided a history of the impacts of space weather on electrical technology. “We have a vast array of unseen physical processes in the space around the Earth that can affect our technologies as we go forward.As the complexity of systems increases, including their interconnectedness and their interoperability, they become more susceptible to space weather effects,” said Lanzerotti, editor of Space Weather: The International Journal of Research and Applications, which is published by AGU. He added that it is not a matter of whether space weather affects the Earth but rather when solar events might occur and how big they might be.

Lanzerotti said large solar disturbances can also occur during or near solar minimums, not only during solar maximums. He also expressed concern regarding how to predict some solar events. Lanzerotti said that modeling for CMEs is getting better, “but we have absolutely no clue as to how to predict the intensity of a solar X-ray event that can modify the ionosphere, or a solar radio event.”

GEOMAGNETIC STORM ALERT: Geomagnetic storms are circling Earth's poles in the wake of a double CME impact on June 16th. According to analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, the hit strongly compressed Earth's magnetic field, directly exposing some geosynchronous satellites to solar wind plasma. After nightfall in North America, blue and purple auroras spread along the US-Canadian border. Justin Phillips sends this photo from New Auburn, Wisconsin:

"Fireflies added to the colors of extremely bright pink and purple auroras in west central Wisconsin," says Phillips. "What a night!"

Solar wind conditions in the wake of the CME favor continued disturbances. NOAA forecasters estimate a 55% chance of more high-latitude geomagnetic storms during the next 24 hours.

WEAK IMPACT: As expected, an interplanetary shock wave associated with the "double CME" of June 13-14 hit Earth's magnetic field today around 0900 UT. The impact was weak. The solar wind speed in the wake of the CME barely upticked to 400 km/s, and the impact did not trigger a geomagnetic storm.

Treasure hunters confirm they have found something abnormal in the seabed

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 15, 2012

The Ocean X Team dove down to the circle-shaped object in the Baltic Sea and met something they never experienced before. First they thought it was just stone or a rock cliff, but after further observations the object appeared more as a huge mushroom, rising 3-4 meters/10-13 feet from the seabed, with rounded sides and rugged edges. The object had an egg shaped hole leading into it from the top, as an opening. On top of the object they also found strange stone circle formations, almost looking like small fireplaces. The stones were covered in something resembling soot.

“During my 20-year diving career, including 6000 dives, I have never seen anything like this. Normally stones don’t burn. I can’t explain what we saw, and I went down there to answer questions, but I came up with even more questions “, says Stefan Hogeborn, one of the divers at Ocean X Team.

The path to the object itself can be described as a runway or a downhill path that is flattened at the seabed with the object at the end of it.

“First we thought this was only stone, but this is something else. And since no volcanic activity has ever been reported in the Baltic Sea the find becomes even stranger. As laymen we can only speculate how this is made by nature, but this is the strangest thing I have ever experienced as a professional diver“, continues Peter Lindberg, one of the founder Ocean X Team.

CME TARGETS VENUS, EARTH MARS: Active sunspot AR1504 erupted on June 13th at 1319 UT, producing a long-duration M1-flare and hurling a CME into space. According to analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, the cloud will deliver a glancing blow to three planets: Venus on June 15th, Earth on June 16th, and Mars on June 19th. NOAA forecasters estimate a 25% - 30% chance of geomagnetic storms when the cloud reaches Earth. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.

ELECTRIC-BLUE NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS: Data from NASA's AIM spacecraft show that noctilucent clouds (NLCs) are like a great "geophysical light bulb." They turn on every year in late spring, reaching almost full intensity over a period of no more than 5 to 10 days. News flash: The bulb is glowing. Flying photographer Brian Whittaker photographed these NLCs over Canada on June 13th:

"I was very happy to see my first noctilucent clouds of 2012," says Whittaker. "They were visible to the north for about 3 hours as we flew between Ottawa and Newfoundland at 35,000 feet."

These electric-blue clouds are hanging 85 km above Earth's surface, at the edge of space itself. Their origin is still largely a mystery; various theories associate them with space dust, rocket exhaust, global warming--or some mixture of the three. One thing is sure. They're baaack ... for the summer of 2012.

"The auroras lasted just a couple of minutes, [but they were beautiful]," says photographer Bart Firth. "They were blue to purple in color."

The storm was sparked by an episode of "negative IMF." That is, south-pointing magnetic fields in the solar wind opened a crack in Earth's magnetosphere; solar wind poured in and fueled the display. NOAA forecasters estimate a 10% to 20% chance of similar storms in the next 24 hours as the solar wind continues to blow.

The word crepuscular means “relating to twilight,” and they occur when objects such as mountain peaks or clouds partially shadow the Sun’s rays, when the Sun is low on the horizon. These rays are visible only when the atmosphere contains enough haze or dust particles so that sunlight in unshadowed areas can be scattered toward the observer. The light rays are actually parallel, but appear to converge to the Sun due to “perspective,” the same visual effect that makes parallel railroad tracks appear to converge in the distance. No, this isn’t a joke, it isn’t a fake document, and it isn’t a misinterpretation. It is a paper published by Dr. James Hansen (and the GISS team) in PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences). In the paper (published in 2000, but long since buried) they make these two bold statements (emphasis mine):

..we argue that rapid warming in recent decades has been driven mainly by non-CO₂ greenhouse gases (GHGs), such as chlorofluorocarbons, CH₄, and N₂O, not by the products of fossil fuel burning, CO₂ and aerosols..

If sources of CH₄ and O₃ precursors were reduced in the future, the change in climate forcing by non-CO₂ GHGs in the next 50 years could be near zero. Combined with a reduction of black carbon emissions and plausible success in slowing CO₂ emissions, this reduction of non-CO₂ GHGs could lead to a decline in the rate of global warming, reducing the danger of dramatic climate change.

Now that I know that psychologists have a scale of 0 - 24 and 18+ is a psychopath, then I think that it only makes sense if we consider this to be a logarithmic scale... The reason being is I have serious difficulties with people like Magnotta being compared to James Ray, who are both psychopaths but to a different degree... It can NEVER be forgotten that James Ray abandoned people lying on the ground turning blue and dying and went off to have a shower and a sandwich. He actually got angry when someone sane phoned for paramedics after his fatal sweatlodge where he deliberately tried to provide an environment where people could experience heat stroke so they could become delirious and believe they were having a spiritual experience. Even after 3 deaths and 20+ people in trouble, his response to all this was to carry on as if nothing had happened because the lives of the people who had died and nearly died meant nothing in comparison to his pursuit of becoming a billionaire... I will accept that maybe he was careless and that just makes him a malignant narcissist, but I would imagine he would still be 16 - 18 on the scale.... Well, I am sure that social scientists will want to keep Magnotta alive just so that he can be studied, but I would be interested to know the results of some basic tests...

"I've been really pondering these recent cannabalism and zombie occurences, and as you've noted, they're generating quite a lot of discussion. Since one of these cases happened in my home state of Maryland, only about 40 mins from where I live, it's quite disconcerting.

My strong first impressions and feelings about what's going on is that it appears to be some type of reality bleed-through. In the past couple of years zombie movies games, etc. have begun to outpace vampires in popularity in the general population. I know people who are absolutely addicted to TV series "The Walking Dead", which made it's debut last year. And zombies seem to be the "in thing" now.

It's as if the movies & games are starting to "bleed through" into our 3rd dimensional reality. Maybe it's because the new energies hitting our planet are causing thoughts and feelings to manifest more strongly and quickly......thus we will need to guard our thoughts and feelings more rigorously. Not to mention the collective consciousness of any given group.

Or maybe the "powers that be" want to amp up the fear energy and have introduced a new "program" into this reality construct/framework.

Whatever the case may be, this ride is getting wilder by the minute.

1. The Return of Christ ENERGY is a problem for the Vatican because it seems to have a function of re-balancing human consciousness amongst many other functions. Any negative and malignant force that has sprung up that impacts on the growth and evolution of human consciousness and poses a threat to humanity is therefore set for elimination. A direct comparison can be made here with ecosystems and what happens at times of great environmental stress when the agents of stress are eliminated to restore balance. This is briefly but well explained by biologist Bruce Lipton during an interview with Laura Lee in 2004, where Lipton explains new scientific evidence provided in the journal Nature, that suggests Darwin was wrong and it is not survival of the fittest, it is what the community of organisms contribute to a well functioning ecosystem environment. Bruce Lipton states that "evolution is selected by complementarity to the environment, organisms that push the environment to extremes are ultimately eliminated from the environment", see Bruce Lipton - DNA & The Environment 3of4. Hence the reason the Vatican insiders who know these ultra truths are terrified because their 'type' has seen destruction over and over again on this spiritual school called planet Earth. Why do you think the Vatican has its own state-of-the-art astronomical observatories and sends out astronomer priests like (Brother)(Dr) Guy Consolmagno, into the Antarctica to check if there is anything big coming from certain directions in the sky that are usually difficult to monitor? The Vatican takes its own destruction very seriously because they KNOW they are a negative malignant force operating as predators on humanity and they know that universal conciousness will regularly wipe them off the planet for everybody elses' good. Why do you think the astronomer priests made sure the bit in the scriptures, "Judgement will start at the house of God" was NOT removed? Why do you think there is such a cosy relationship between NASA and the Vatican? Well, these modern astronomer priests have a lot in common... Overall, I think it is fair to say the Vatican do could not care two hoots about humanity, 2012 and the return of the Christ energy is all about their self preservation.

The Vatican have major theological problems because if they can survive the evolutionary changes and their "judgement", people will eventually wake up and realise that there is a Shadow Biosphere on this planet and extraterrestrial life exists throughout the universe, thus we can anticipate that there is going to be some trauma. The Moon has an external magnetic field of the order of one to a hundred nanoteslas, less than one-hundredth that of the Earth. It does not currently have a global dipolar magnetic field, as would be generated by a liquid metal core geodynamo, and only has crustal magnetization, probably acquired early in lunar history when a geodynamo was still operating.[73][74] Alternatively, some of the remnant magnetization may be from transient magnetic fields generated during large impact events, through the expansion of an impact-generated plasma cloud in the presence of an ambient magnetic field—this is supported by the apparent location of the largest crustal magnetizations near the antipodes of the giant impact basins.[75]

In the spring of 1951 US soldiers were mounting an attack on a Korean village when a glowing, disc-shaped UFO approached them. A private fired at it with armour-piercing bullets and heard the sound of metal hitting metal. The object 'went wild' and began to move erratically and flash its light off and on. The men then heard a sound like the revving of a generator, and were swept by some form of a ray, producing a burning, tingling sensation. 3 days later they had to be evacuated by ambulance as they were too weak to walk [29].

Bullets hitting UFOs, and also humanoid beings, are often reported to sound as if they are hitting metal -- but this could mean that physicalized etheric matter can assume properties like those of metal rather than flesh. The 'mica-like' body and 'wiry froth' associated with the creatures seen by Don Wood on Flat Mesa seem to support this idea. In mid-1964 a 'metallic' lifeform began appearing in Rio Vista, California. Reports described it as cigar-shaped, about 5 ft in diameter and 12 to 15 ft long. It glowed a soft red and moved silently. On 22 September 1965, 300 to 400 persons stood in the dark on a hilltop around a water tower where the object was generally observed. It appeared and was seen hovering or moving slowly a couple of hundred feet above the treetops or the top of the water tower. Boys with .22 rifles shot at the object one night, and the bullets made a metallic 'twang' and caused the object to flare up bright red for a second [30].

'Saucer nests' have been reported in Northern Queensland, Australia. One morning in January 1966, a farmer near Tully was driving a tractor near a lagoon. He was surprised to see a large, disc-shaped object suddenly ascend from the water reeds 25 yards away. It rose to an altitude of about 60 ft, then tilted a little to one side and vanished speedily to the southwest. In the reeds the farmer found a circular, flattened area, about 30 ft in diameter, within an otherwise undisturbed, dense reed growth. The flattened stems were radially distributed in an anticlockwise manner. The reeds had been torn free of the bottom so that the whole mass was floating on the surface of the water. By the evening, the upper surfaces of the flattened reeds had turned brown. Other nests were subsequently found in the same area, and have also been reported in other parts of the world [31].

The anticlockwise flattening of the reeds is significant, as evidence of anticlockwise, energetic motion around discoid UFOs is found in numerous incidents. A typhoon involves an anticlockwise motion and levitates millions of tons of water as it crosses the ocean. Trevor Constable believes that UFOs which levitate themselves make use of the same etheric or orgone energy. The high orgonotic potential associated with the Tully creatures withdraws the orgone charge in the reeds under them and pulls them free of the bottom. The browning of the upper edge of the flattened reeds could be caused by the whirling plasma around the creatures.

The Queensland UFO nests seem far more like a nesting area for living creatures than a base for space beings. The nesting of UFOs on water amid the reeds is reminiscent of living organisms that fly, such as geese and ducks. The object taking flight when a noisy tractor approached is reminiscent of startled wildfowl. In the same area of Queensland, a discoidal UFO was observed pacing an airliner at high altitude. 1. The Return of Christ ENERGY is a problem for the Vatican because it seems to have a function of re-balancing human consciousness amongst many other functions. RADIATION OVER-EXPOSURE TO PASSENGERS AND CREW Information!

The principal space weather hazard to humans is exposure to cosmic radiation while flying, which is caused primarily by GCRs. The dose rate at an altitude of 39,000 ft (12 km) in mid-temperate latitudes is typically up to about 6 microSieverts (microSv) per hour, but near the equator only about 3 microSv/hr. Typically, a London to Los Angeles flight in a commercial aircraft accumulates ~65 microSv (6 microSv/hr); however, the solar cycle can give plus or minus 20% variations in dose from solar minimum to maximum.

However, of concern are those SEPs [Solar Energetic Particles] that increase the dose at aircraft altitudes. Using data collected onboard aircraft and then modelled to large SEP storms (ie, 23 February 1956, 29 September 1989) it is estimated that the additional radiation dose received at 40,000ft (12km) on a subsonic transatlantic flight would have been approximately 10 mSv and 2 mSv respectively.

Under present ICRP guidelines, the recommended dose limit for the general public is 1mSv, and for aircrew in the EU a maximum working level of 6 mSv has been adopted by the airlines.

While some of the energetic beta particles followed the Earth's magnetic field and illuminated the sky, other high-energy electrons became trapped and formed radiation belts around the earth. There was much uncertainty and debate about the composition, magnitude and potential adverse effects from this trapped radiation after the detonation. The weaponeers became quite worried when three satellites in low earth orbit were disabled. These man-made radiation belts eventually crippled one-third of all satellites in low earth orbit. NOAA Region 1476, now poised just to the east of center on the solar disk, produced an impulsive R1(Minor) Radio Blackout at 1232 UTC (8:32 EDT) today. The region is quite prominent, although just one-third in area of the large regions of the Halloween Storms in 2003, and exhibits a slight degree of magnetic complexity. It will be in direct alignment with earth in a few days, so CME's then would be likely to spawn geomagnetic activity.

Solar poles to become quadrupolar in May [2012]

Magnetic field polarity at the solar poles will reverse and become quadrupolar in May, meaning positive fields will emerge in the North and South poles and negative fields will emerge on the equator, according to the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan and other institutes.

When a similar phenomenon occurred about 300 years ago, the Earth's average temperature fell slightly.

A research team led by Saku Tsuneta, a professor at the observatory, analyzed solar magnetic fields data using Hinode, an observational satellite, and confirmed that the polarity of the magnetic field at the North Pole began to reverse in July last year.

The researchers also found the magnetic field at the South Pole, which was expected to reverse along with the North Pole, maintained a positive polarity, ensuring the formation of a quadrupole magnetic field.

Then there is the abuse caught on film of the documentary film maker where Sam is just off the charts nasty... I suppose that is where people start to sense the evil, and when you realise this is not a normal person.... Sam will not even admit that he is human..... Yes, I know what the psychologists are saying but to hear it from the horse's mouth is still shocking.... Seriously, this documentary is brilliant.... you even start to question those who are not diagnosed as psychopaths like his partner who seems to be happy to be abused on a regular basis .... I have made my views clear about those who become the end-product of a psychopath based on the opinion of psychologists who are experts on cult leaders and those who have been in cults. This is where psychopaths have perfected their ability to turn their victims into robots or zombies and the documentary even highlights cult leaders because they have the common trait of a psychopath who projects their own characteristics onto their followers and/or victims .... I think the research over at least 50 years substantiates my claim that psychopaths in the Cultic Milieu create "mini-me" psychopaths and the narcissim and sense of entitlement that is so strong is exactly what we should expect. I have had to learn some tough lessons, but my primary lesson is that you will not learn about spiritual evolution from people with personality disorders...
  

The more extreme manifestations of an absence of spirit is known in psychology as psychopathic, sociopathic, or narcissistic personality disorders. Spirited people who fit this condition are misguided and held hostage by their egos, but they can be rehabilitated. Instead of lacking empathy, their empathy is either suppressed or displaced. NOTE: LACK OF DATA UPDATES. SOHO went again into "Emergency Sun Reacquisition" (ESR) mode on Wednesday, May 8, 2012 at 20:34 UT. The ESR was again caused by a false trigger of the Coarse Sun Pointing Attitude Anomaly Dector. We are working on the recovery of the spacecraft to normal mode. It will take several days to return to normal science operations.

Special Interest

Twelve to eighteen hours after the initial flare, a massive CME will approach the Earth. If a solar wind monitor upwind of Earth survives the initial energetic particle storm, it will detect the on-coming CME and indicate its potential to trigger an extreme geomagnetic storm. At this point, SWPC will issue a G5 warning, with 30-60 minutes of lead time. The societal consequences, if any, after the CME impacts the Earth remains to be determined.

  Wi-fi internet access and other communications are at risk from global warming unless measures are taken to protect them from rising temperatures and stormier weather, a government report warned on Monday.
  
  Presenting the report, the secretary of state for the environment, Caroline Spelman, said that higher temperatures can reduce the range of wireless communications, rainstorms can impact the reliability of the signal, and drier summers and wetter winters may cause greater subsidence, damaging masts and underground cables.

• Wichita experiences rare 'heat burst' overnight

  WICHITA, Kansas -- Last night Wichita experienced a very rare weather phenomenon known as a “Heat Burst.” At 12:22 a.m. the temperature at Wichita’s Mid-Continent Airport was 85 degrees. At 12:44 the temperature spiked to 102 degrees. This was a 17 degree increase in only 20 minutes. Winds also gusted between 50 and 60 MPH. The heat burst winds and temperatures rapidly dissipated as they spread across Sedgwick and Southern Butler Counties.
