The News of The Imbalance blog is an attempt to provide pertinent information concerning the new phenomena of space weather driving massive evolutionary change. In 2006, I self-published the book Tuning the Diamonds: Electromagnetism & Spiritual Evolution (2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 ), because I believed that Modern Mayan Elders were trying to point out that the citizens of planet Earth were entering a New World Age dominated by aether or space. The basic premise of my book was that the dramatic increase and impact of Space Weather was predicted.

Since 2006, the major significance of Space Weather has become more apparent. What's more, it has now been proven that major religious institutions, metaphysical and esoteric groups have been tracking the date 2012 as the end/start of a major astronomical cycle. Geoscientists worldwide are adamant that our planet is experiencing a “global energy leap” and the inevitable consequence will be more mega-disasters. World governments have been warned that there is a new need for disaster preparedness and there is now a new sense of urgency. This blog provides my unique perspective as a Truth Seeker, based on the integration of science, metaphysics and ancient knowledge.

National Response to a Severe Space Weather Event

The effects of space weather, while disruptive and potentially costly, are generally limited in scope, as described by NOAA's Space Weather Scales (http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/NOAAscales/). However, as a recent National Research Council (NRC) workshop report notes, severe space weather can have significant societal and economic impacts [NRC, 2008], including regional power outages [Kappenman, 2010], damage to satellites [Odenwald et al., 2006], and degradation of service provided by space-based systems (primarily navigation and communication) [NRC, 2008]. Over the past few years, there has been increasing governmental concern about the prospect of an epic space weather event that could cause widespread damage with long-lasting effects [National Defense University, 2011; Holdren and Beddington, 2011; U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency et al., 2010]. In the spring of 2012, Florida's Division of Emergency Management will conduct a series of exercises focused on the potential impacts of a geomagnetic storm [Florida Division of Emergency Management, 2011]. These exercises will be used as a model for similar operations in other regions.

Events that are rare but potentially catastrophic are often described by the risk-management community as low-probability/high-consequence. Such high-impact, unexpected, but predictable crises are also known as "black swans" [Taleb, 2010]. In the space weather realm, the prototype for a black-swan event would be a recurrence of the Carrington superstorm that occurred in September 1859 [Cliver, 2006]. This article describes the policies now in place to coordinate nationwide preparation for and response to a major space weather event. It will also briefly discuss how the space weather community can contribute to the development of these policies.

Comment: I have been waiting for a document like this that explains how the authorities are going to manage the situation in the event of a G5 geomagnetic storm, but I burst out laughing when I read the following....

Twelve to eighteen hours after the initial flare, a massive CME will approach the Earth. If a solar wind monitor upwind of Earth survives the initial energetic particle storm, it will detect the on-coming CME and indicate its potential to trigger an extreme geomagnetic storm. At this point, SWPC will issue a G5 warning, with 30-60 minutes of lead time. The societal consequences, if any, after the CME impacts the Earth remains to be determined.

Seriously, this is very disappointing... In plain English, the citizens of planet Earth MAY get a warning if our warning system is not destroyed first by fast streaming radiation before the main destruction arrives... When this document was published, the ACE satellite as the no.1 solar wind monitor had only just come back online after disappearing for about a friggin week... truly pathetic... I could keep moaning but I can't be bothered... I think we can assume that if we are just 'unlucky' and a bad geomagnetic storms hits, it will be a bolt from the blue, millions of people's lights will go off and they won't come back on again, but I presume that some places will be more prone to transformers being destroyed than others, but I doubt if the public will be told if they are in one of those danger zones...

The term “space weather” refers to the variable conditions on the sun and in space that can influence the performance of technology we use on Earth. Extreme space weather could potentially cause damage to critical infrastructure – especially the electric grid – highlighting the importance of being prepared.

In order to protect people and systems that might be at risk from space weather effects, we need to understand the causes of space weather.

The sun is the main source of space weather. Sudden bursts of plasma and magnetic field structures from the sun's atmosphere called coronal mass ejections (CME) together with sudden bursts of radiation, or solar flares, all cause space weather effects here on Earth.

Space weather can produce electromagnetic fields that induce extreme currents in wires, disrupting power lines, and even causing wide-spread blackouts. Severe space weather also produces solar energetic particles, which can damage satellites used for commercial communications, global positioning, intelligence gathering, and weather forecasting.

Comment: This is affectively a Ready.gov advice sheet on Space Weather.. For the naysayers, solar storms are nothing new, but it is the fact that the transmitting properties of space have changed and therefore if we get huge solar coronal mass ejections coming our way, then they will have a bigger impact. This is combined with the issues that Earth's magnetosphere (magnetic shielding) is less affective. Earth's magnetic shield has "cracks" in it as well as sometimes there are massive breaches where the magnetic field affectively disappears on the daylight side. What this means is the planet can be "zapped" by large large flows of charged particles from the Sun (BIG electrical shocks) and if this is too severe there is a danger of national power grids being knocked out. Of course on a personal level, every single brain on the planet is also getting some big shocks too as the big and small shocks are detected by human brains that are wired into the environmental Schumann Resonances - but there are other environmental signals that humans can pick up that are not so beneficial. I wrote about this in my book Tuning the Diamonds: Electromagnetism & Spirtual Evolution and nothing has changed in my analysis. Now, we only have more revelations from the space agencies about geomagnetic conditions getting worse and worse. The planet is now regularly ringing like a bell with spacequakes.

Unexplained sounds, flashes spark rumors in Roslindale, Boston

Roslindale may soon be called Roswell-lindale after a series of unexplained sounds and flashes of light were witnessed over the weekend. Both Friday and Sunday, around the same times, residents reported hearing "booms" in the area of Zeller Street near the Fallon Field.

Some residents said the sound wasn't consistent with the noises made by fireworks during a July 4 celebration. The mysterious blasts were reportedly heard from Dorchester Fields to Jamaica Plain, but no one had an answer for the strange phenomenon.

Comment: This article links to the Linda Moulton Howe broadcast [15:10] (see below).... it seems that the only way to wake people up is to jolt them to the bone.... Besides that, if there is no evidence of earthquake activity then it has to be coming from the sky, but I imagine the authorities would rather pretend nothing was the matter that admit the noise was coming from the atmosphere and the seriousness of the magnetosphere breaking down... At this moment, are we hearing sonic booms being caused by the solar wind slamming into the magnetosphere? It looks like the answer is most likely yes,

SOLAR WIND SQUEEZES SOME OF EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE INTO SPACE

Researchers using NASA's Polar spacecraft have found the first direct evidence that bursts of energy from the Sun can cause oxygen and other gases to gush from Earth's upper atmosphere into space. Scientists first saw this effect September 24-25, 1998, when a storm from the Sun smacked into the Earth. Using particle detectors on Polar, they found that the flow of "polar wind" out of Earth's upper atmosphere increased substantially when the storm hit. In effect, pressure from the solar ejection squeezed gas out of the ionosphere. [...]

"This solar wind energy essentially 'cooks' the upper atmosphere off of the Earth." Moore's observations were presented on December 8 in San Francisco, CA, during the fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union.

On September 22, 1998, the Sun ejected a mass of hot, ionized gas (known as plasma) toward Earth. This magnetic cloud of plasma (called a coronal mass ejection) increased the density and pressure of the solar wind and produced a shock wave similar to a sonic boom. When that shock wave arrived at Earth late on September 24, it rammed into and compressed Earth's magnetic shell in space (the magnetosphere). This shock to the magnetosphere excited the plasma trapped in Earth's ionosphere to a point where some ions gained enough energy to escape Earth's gravity and flow downwind of Earth. The amount of oxygen and other gases lost from the ionosphere amounted to a few hundred tons....

Well, I have been suspecting this all along, but it looks like instead of this ionized air escaping downwind of the Earth (literally being gouged out and flung out into space) this ionized air is creating sonic boom direct 'hits' over the United States and elsewhere..... The conclusion here is that this is from the Earth but only as far as a mile deep so that it is not being registered by seismic monitors, but I still think this is implausible as seismic waves would still travel through the ground and not just disappear....

Why climate science is a textbook example of groupthink

The result is what Janis calls “the groupthink syndrome.” This consists of three main categories of symptoms:

1. Overestimate of the group’s power and morality, including “an unquestioned belief in the group’s inherent morality, inclining the members to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their actions.” [emphasis added]

2. Closed-mindedness, including a refusal to consider alternative explanations and stereotyped negative views of those who aren’t part of the group’s consensus. The group takes on a “win-lose fighting stance” toward alternative views.[5]

3. Pressure toward uniformity, including “a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgments conforming to the majority view”; “direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group’s stereotypes”; and “the emergence of self-appointed mind-guards … who protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions.”[6]

Comment: This is an excellent article..... but, despite the intellectual argument here, I still think the reality is that herds of scientists can be lead by the nose by grants. In fact, as one scientist remarked, they are trained like dogs, where grants and 'reputation' represent the 'dog biscuits' and they only get the grant if they behave and conform. That is why truth that threatens the status quo can take many many decades to be accepted. People who don't understand this do not understand how science works and why some of the real pioneers and heroes have an extremely difficult time. However, there are variations as not all countries have the same set of values and there is competition for Nobel Prizes... Btw, scientists are not the only other groups subject to 'groupthink', and for some groups, a better description would be the preference for 'doublethink'....

It has been the wettest April in the UK for over 100 years, with some areas seeing three times their usual average, figures from the Met Office show.

Some 121.8mm of rain has fallen, beating the previous record of 120.3mm which was set in 2000.

Scientists: Mars 'Egg' Proof of Life

A team of UK scientists are making the latest controversial claim to have found signs of life in a meteorite from Mars. They say their evidence lies in a fragment from a chunk of rock that fell in the Sahara Desert in Morocco in July last year.

Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe said the globule from the rock named Tissint is rich in carbon and oxygen and insisted they could only have been produced by living organisms.

He added that they could not have been caused by contamination when they fell to Earth.

Prof Wickramasinghe, 72 — famous for controversial ideas such as that the flu virus and even life itself was brought to our planet by comets — said: "It is impossible to understand how carbon-rich particles of such uniform sizes and shapes got inside a rocky matrix if they are not relics of some algal species.

Comment: Yet, it is not that long ago that Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe and his Journal of Cosmology were in big trouble.... The Journal published evidence of extraterrestrial microfossils of bacteria in meteorites older than Earth that had been discovered where scientists were not able to disprove the findings.... Due to the great publicity, Wickramasinghe had his astrobiology centre shut down (reported in March last year) even though the Cardiff Centre for Astrobiology was run on a shoestring, the University of Buckingham was most likely put under some pressure to dish out some punishment.... So, this latest burst of publicity is all rather curious and I think things are so bad that educating the public has now become a matter of urgency... I could be wrong but I am seeing similar articles every day now... Whatever, as far as I am concerned, "Disclosure" is about the spiritual evolution of humanity as we realise that life is ubiquitous in the cosmos.

Odds of Finding Alien Life Boosted by Billions of Habitable Worlds

A new estimate of the number of habitable planets orbiting the most common type of stars in our galaxy could have huge consequences for the search for life.

According to a recent study, tens of billions of planets around red dwarfs are likely capable of containing liquid water, dramatically increasing the potential to find signs of life somewhere other than Earth.

Red dwarfs are stars that are fainter, cooler and less massive than the sun. These stars, which typically also live longer than Class G stars like the sun, are thought to make up about 80 percent of the stars in the Milky Way, astronomers have said.

Comment: There seems to be a war going on in the media about the probability of finding life in the universe. Quite frankly, those who say that life here is unique seem to be those desperate to keep people uninformed about the sheer vastness of space and the HUGE number of stars that could support certain forms of life. Thus, it is hard to imagine just how primitive some people's thinking must be.... Even the argument used here is based on a poor assumption, maybe there are other forms of life that don't need water...

A huge "structure" of satellite galaxies and star clusters has been found wheeling around the Milky Way, according to a new study. The discovery surprised scientists, in part because the structure might spell trouble for theories of dark matter, the mysterious, invisible substance that's thought to make up about 23 percent of the mass in the universe.

The finding is only the latest to question dark matter's existence—last week, for instance, astronomers announced that they'd failed to detect dark matter in the sun's neighborhood, even though the substance should be there, according to accepted theory.[...] According to this idea, the Milky Way stripped material from the other galaxy, and gravity gathered the debris to form dwarf galaxies and globular clusters, which have remained in a plane around the Milky Way ever since, study leader Pawlowski said.

The team asserts that this model deals a significant blow to dark matter, since it shows that galaxies can form without the theoretical substance. "It means that we have to completely and utterly rethink cosmology," Kroupa said. "Cosmology is basically in a shambles now."

Comment: Cosmology has been in "Shambles" for a long time according to plasma cosmologists and Electric Universe theorists but there are others who hate all the Big Bang religious stuff and the idea the whole universe appeared from nothing but people are now so skeptical that the standard retort these days is to just say, well what banged? Anyway, I suppose this is good news.... This is such a difficult subject because the belief in the unknown by astronomers is very strong... there is some real love for the metaphysics.... The only thing that puzzles me is that there must be some particles that are invisible to detection and are therefore 'dark' the best example being the neutrino that is no longer 'dark' due to advances in technology.... However, when plasma physicsts create galaxies by computer simulation and even tiny mini-galaxies in the lab by knowing how plasma behaves and the known laws of physics they don't need to take into account any dark matter... So, some believe there is no 'missing' or 'dark' matter but I am not so sure it can be so easily dismissed...

Sorry I don't believe the extra-dimensional entities have created the universe, but this is an issue which is up for debate in my mind, because some are acting as guardians for this planet and seem to organise/manage new deliveries of resources and life and 'trash' removal off the planet... In religious terms, that would make them angels and of course in religious terms some would think there are demons too..... Do the research and you will find highly 'informed' people have believed this in the past.... Whatever, I believe these entities have been here a long time before us as they MUST be a primordial form of life .... Despite the comments I have seen elsewhere, this is not a 'New Age' message as most New Age leaders seem to be clueless about what is happening on this planet... and are still trying to get people to believe in the Law of Attraction and other such abstractions and distractions... Comment: Well, Bolden certainly knows how to let the cat out of the bag.... if this report is true, then we can forget about a new discovery, the evidence has been in plain sight for many decades, infact since the invention of radar... Well, if Bolden is prepared to make this statement, it makes you wonder why there is such effort by some to desperately fight the notion that humans are not alone. Please note: the astronaut talk is about alien LIFE NOT alien CRAFT. So, I might be on my own here, but I believe any anouncement will be about a Shadow Biosphere, which is the sensible thing for NASA to do, as the dimensional shift is clearly still accelerating.

According to the report, a crack in the main crater causes higher emissions and a sound similar to a jet engine. Specialists of the National System for Prevention, Mitigation and Attention to Disasters (SINAPRED) and the Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies (INETER), told the press that they detected this unusual behavior several days ago, but for now there is no reason for alarm.

Enormous LSST Telescope Set for Chile Mountaintop in 2014

Plans for an enormous telescope, equipped with a 3.2 billion-pixel camera, are ready for detailed designs, its creators announced on April 24. When completed, the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) will take photos of every inch of visible night sky every week for 10 years in a kind of time-lapse picture that will provide scientists with unparalleled views of the universe. The telescope is projected for ‘first light’ in 2014 atop the Cerro Pachón mountain in Chile's Atacama Desert -the world's Southern Hemisphere space-observatory mecca. Researchers have started work on its 8.4-meter (27.6-foot) mirror and on preparing its construction site.

The 8.4-meter telescope will be able to survey the entire visible sky deeply in multiple colors every week with its 3-billion pixel digital camera. The telescope will probe the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy, and it will open a movie-like window on objects that change or move rapidly: exploding supernovae, billions of galaxies, potentially hazardous near-Earth asteroids and distant Kuiper Belt objects, and multiple probes of the mysterious dark matter and dark energy.

Comment: Well, due to Space Weather and Earth being inside an interstellar debris field (cosmic bowling alley that is delivering lots of big and small asteroids), I imagine this new telescope will be very useful. A woman living in the east of Switzerland who believed she could survive on light alone was found starved to death, it has emerged. Anna Gut (not her real name) was in her early fifties when she saw the film, “In the beginning there was light,” a documentary in which two men claim to survive entirely on light, newspaper Tages Anzeiger reported.

The film, which ran in Swiss cinemas in 2010, portrayed two men, 62-year-old Swiss Michael Werner, an anthroposophist with a doctorate in chemistry, and 83-year-old Indian yogi Prahlad Jani. Both men claimed to derive sustenance from spiritual means rather than the intake of food. Werner claims he has lived this way since 2001, while Jani says he has lived for 70 years not only without food but also without water. [...]

Dr. Dee Dawson, a British specialist in eating disorders, was in no doubt about the dangers of breatharianism.

"It's suicidal," she told The Local.

We tend to think of our time as one uniquely shaped by the advance of technology, but more and more I suspect that this will be remembered as an age of cosmology---as the moment when the human mind first internalized the cosmos that gave rise to it. Over the past century, since the discovery that our universe is expanding, science has quietly begun to sketch the structure of the entire cosmos, extending its explanatory powers across a hundred billion galaxies, to the dawn of space and time itself. It is breathtaking to consider how quickly we have come to understand the basics of everything from star formation to galaxy formation to universe formation. And now, equipped with the predictive power of quantum physics, theoretical physicists are beginning to push even further, into new universes and new physics, into controversies once thought to be squarely within the domain of theology or philosophy.

Comment: No, even though the argument here is out of date pseudo-scientific and bordering on intellectual snobbery, I still think we need physics and science combined with philosophy (for those with an interest) so that people can defend themselves against the religious frauds and the vermin that haunt the Cultic Milieu... I do have lots of nasty thing to say about science and how it is conducted, but quite frankly, it is still a good enough antidote to the madness of the worse fanatical elements -- the religionistas and the cult fiends -- that the world can do without. Over the years, I have come across people who can only be described as %&ç*"/& ignorant and in their ignorance, they try to pretend they know what they are talking about about,[the quote is relevant here: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." ] but when these type get involved with cults they become extremely dangerous.... I suppose they brainwash easy.... Now, we all know that bullshit is very much an art form in modern society and I have even found an intellectual treatise called On Bullshit written by one of the world's most influential moral philosophers, Princeton University, Professor Emeritus Harry G. Frankfurt. Ironically this book has become a cult classic, see archives for more details or download a chapter here. But sometimes, the truth really matters and that is the problem. So, whilst some real truth has been hidden in archives and metaphysical messages have been given to the metaphysical community for years, very few have the intellectual abilities to correctly interpret the information and actually DO SOMETHING useful. So, now that the Earth's magnetic shielding is breaking down very few outside the metaphysical community realise that evolution and devolution is on the cards and outside of certain technical fields few realise that our modern technological society is at risk. A scientific and analytical approach may just save some from being mercilessly defrauded by the worse elements in the Cultic Milieu.

When the Russians had a nuclear disaster they did their best to contain it, but the Japanese authorities just tell lots of lies and don't do anything to prevent serious disaster and then decide to make sure all their citizens share the radiation load and are burning radioactive debris all over the country..... I am sorry to say this but Japan needs to fall into the bottom of the sea to preserve some life on this planet... What's more, the way things are looking this is starting to look like we could get a post apocalyptic "Zardos" world.

For decades, companies have tailored public weather data for private customers from farmers to airlines. On Wednesday, a group of businesses said that they are on the cusp of developing a new market: fine-tuned space weather products for customers as varied as electrical utilities and satellite operators.

Space weather is caused by magnetic storms in the Sun's atmosphere, which release streams of particles into space that boost the energy of Earth's magnetic field. These geomagnetic storms can push satellites out of position in orbit and ramp up the current in electricity grids, sometimes causing sudden blackouts of communications and power.

The push to develop a commercial forecasting enterprise for space weather came at workshop hosted by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Boulder, Colorado [...]

“You can’t have the SWPC calling every electrical utility in the country every time there is a space weather event.”

But SWPC physicist Doug Biesecker says that before customers are willing to pay for such private forecasts, the bedrock predictions provided by NOAA need to improve. Sometimes, the SWPC offers warnings for solar events three days in advance, but these are very uncertain. Further research into the processes of magnetic field reconnection within the Sun — the mechanism responsible for solar flares and coronal mass ejections, the two main drivers of solar activity — could help to improve forecasting models.

“We’re in a grey area,” says Onsager. “The quality of the information is right on the edge of being actionable.”

Comment: Hmmmm..... the world and our reality has changed and only a few have noticed. But some interested in keeping their businesses viable are taking an interest... and so they should... Btw they are not joking when they say the quality of the information has to improve.... seriously....big business needs to DEMAND a new solar wind monitor before they pay any money out and even then space weather prediction is in its infancy and unreliable. I can't even believe the storms we have had in the last week seemingly provoked by not much solar activity.... Well, space weather forecasters cannot use the past to predict the future because we are in completely unchartered territory.

The Sun’s magnetic field is reversing, South becoming North, as it does approximately every 11 years on a cycle, but this time, something even stranger is going on: The North is moving much faster than the South, and space scientists aren’t sure why.

“Right now, there’s an imbalance between the north and the south poles,” Jonathan Cirtain, NASA’s project scientist for a Japanese solar mission called Hinode, in a recent article on NASA’s website. “The north is already in transition, well ahead of the south pole, and we don’t understand why.” [...]

“This usually leads to a double peak in the sunspot number and CME rate as a function of time,” Nat Gopalswamy, a solar scientist NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., in an email to TPM.

Comment: Hmmmm.... I wonder whether it is possible to date the start of the irregularity with the Sun from 1989, when we had The Great Magnetic Storm during solar cycle 22? At the moment, there are no other candidates because NASA started to notice a decline in the solar wind in the mid 1990s and we had some major blowouts in 1999, 2001 and 2003 during solar cycle 23, where solar maximum seemed to have a double peak with some extraordinary blowouts... Then solar cycle 24 has been just bizarre as it has been extraordinarily quiet with the deepest Solar Minimum in 200 years, combined with some new funny business of another strange magnetic field reversal that also happened in 2000....This solar maximum is causing some major unease because it does not seem to matter if the Sun is quiet, the Sun could still have unleash a super massive blowout whilst our magnetic defences are down.... It only has to happen once during solar maximum for there to be major consequences... I am currently thinking about the naysayers and those who are totally oblivous to what is happening.... We could have a situation where the first that some people realise that our reality has changed for ever is when there is a major geomagnetic storm and all the lights go off and don't come back on EVER.... I realise that most take electricity for granted and are completely oblivious that our dependence on electricity is a major problem, so when and if it disappears, absolutely nothing will work.... Why do you think some can't believe the nonchalant attitude of the totally ignorant people? What is worse is that some scientists are saying this might happen in the next decade or so....No doubt some solar scientists are comparing the strange behaviour of the Sun to previous solar cycles where there have been major geomagnetic storms..... it could be making some very nervous, but as I keep saying, we can't make comparisons because some fundamentals have changed like the state of Earth's magnetic shielding and it seems we could get a major event delivered by not such a major geomagnetic storm...

Comment: This is an interesting read with some classic one-liners written by someone who can THINK. This is a long article, but interesting for me as I have found myself lost and alone amongst those who refuse/can't think. I have days where I crave some quality, not involving people who are brainwashed and/or desperate to brainwash me into their way of thinking. Yes, you know who I am talking about.... As the article outlines, academics have their own set of problems and that is why one of their own can be 20, 30, 40 50, 80 years ahead of their peers and die lonely because the lemmings prefer to stick to the current paradigm even when the data staring in the face is telling them they are wrong. I have realised the savants in the metaphysical community have managed to provide some relevant insights into what is taking place on this planet but the issue with savants is the perspective is very limited and you certainly can't expect them to totally understand what they are saying, if anything at all.... The information needs to be thought about and integrated but very few want to engage brain and think.... Seriously, real modern Mayan Elders warn of the return of the aether/space and nobody before I published my book in September 2006 and made the specific link with space weather, even as it had been steadily getting worse since 1989 when we had The Great Magnetic Storm. I am still waiting 5 and half years later to find out who else made this specific link (surely they MUST exist?). I will accept that the Russians know more than most and I am grateful that a few decided to write The Planetophysical Report (1997, 1998) to shared their understanding of a solar system wide transistion being driven by energy from outside our solar system, where they told us that the properties of spacetime were changing.... Yes, I suppose I must be grateful for those who could see what the vast majortiy were not able to see....

The research, conducted by University of British Columbia psychologists Will Gervais and Ara Norenzayan, does not take sides in the debate between religion and atheism, but aims instead to illuminate one of the origins of belief and disbelief. "To understand religion in humans," Gervais says, "you need to accommodate for the fact that there are many millions of believers and nonbelievers."

Comment: Hmmmm.... From this story I get the impression that the researchers are trying to prove something they want to prove which is an issue from the get go..... This is an interesting read but as usual, the title and the first few paragraphs are a little misleading.... I consider myself to be intuitive but it does not stop me being analytical.... These days, the synaesthesia kicks in hard with people and I KNOW that something is not right and then the detective archetype comes right out and I start to keep records of what exactly is going on with some people. I don't have or want religion, and I am not interested in getting involved with anyone's culty little religion either... Therefore, I can't really take this research that seriously when there are so many other considerations concerning human development that have to be understood.

Baseball sized hail found in northeast Gatlinburg Thursday

Viewers in Sevier County are reporting large hail stones, some as big as golf balls and baseballs, pounded the area Thursday afternoon.

Dispatchers reported they had received reports of vehicles being damaged in the Gatlinburg area. The area hardest hit was near the Food City, where firefighters said some of the hail was as large as baseballs. There were several reports of broken windows.

Closer to downtown Gatlinburg, the hail was smaller, marble to pea-sized. There was also some damage at the Gatliburg Welcome Center on the Spur.

Comment: Long termers know that I have a thing about hail.... it's just bizarre.... Anyway, what is amazing is NOBODY wants to talk about the severe electromagnetic conditions in the atmosphere that can keep hail in the atmosphere long enough for it to defy gravity and GROW to baseball sized! Warm 'updrafts' simply don't cut it for me, and I would be interested to find any experiment where hail can be suspended in the air and grow to the size of a baseball in any kind of 'warmth'....

UFO hunters have spotted a curious object near the sun in a new NASA image. It is, in the words of a blogger for the website Gather, "what looks like a metallic, jointed spaceship with a gigantic extension, perhaps a boom arm, anchored off its lower end."

The YouTube video drawing attention to the object has quickly made its way to discussion forums and the tabloid press, and many seasoned UFO believers are calling it a definite "spot." [...]

As a cosmic ray passes through a camera's image sensor, it deposits a large amount of its electric charge in the pixels that it penetrates. If the particle passes through at a shallow angle to the plane of the camera, it affects several pixels along its path. The result is a bright streak on the image.

In the image in question, a burst of cosmic rays happen to hit the camera lens at just the right angles to create the form of a hinged spaceship. The "boom arm," angled at a slant across the rows and columns of pixels, was formed by a cosmic ray streaking through the camera sensor diagonally and at a shallow angle, depositing charge in several pixels along a diagonal line.

Comment: Hmmmm.... well, it does looks like a spaceship to me, but due to the nature of UAPs, it could be something quite exotic.... whatever, this is mainstream news now.... NASA's "excuses" are truly pathetic... I would have had more respect if they had decided to tell people that Stephen Hawking who seems to have stolen Fred's Hoyle's idea from the sci-fi book The Black Cloud (see the documentary "Into The Universe with Stephen Hawking"), could be right all along.... LOL!

In England, first the MoD said it did not know what the loud boom was and then changed to the sound barrier being broken by a U. K. Typhoon jet responding to an unusual emergency call from a small helicopter over Bath in Somerset County. (See more in report below). In all four American cases, there were no military confirmations of sound-barrier-breaking aircraft and no USGS evidence of local seismic events. As in many other parts of the U. S. and Canada since at least February 2012, one earwitness in Lacey says, “it sounded like the metallic collision of railroad cars followed by rumbling.”

Comment: There is an MP3 interview with various witnesses, but a transcript is provided. I have heard a recording of these loud metallic sounds (see below) and it is incredible.... I am wondering when a few more people will start to join the dots and come to the conclusion that the magnetosphere is breaking down hence the auroras that are appearing over the United States when the aurora season is supposed to be well over, never mind being seen as far south as Kansas in the United States due to 'minor' geomagnetic storms.... I think the UK booms are no comparison in coverage to what is taking place over the United States, but you can judge for yourself, see below. My theory is that the atmosphere is somehow badly damaged over the United States. I don't think anyone who has studied the decades of military madness and tinkering with the atmosphere would doubt this, the only problem is the need for proof, but that does not mean it does not exist...

A woman starved to death after embarking on a spiritual journey which involved giving up food and water and attempting to exist on nothing but sunlight. The Swiss woman, who was in her fifties, apparently got the idea after watching the documentary film 'In the Beginning, There Was Light' which features an Indian guru who claims to not have eaten anything in 70 years.

The Zurich newspaper Tages-Anzeiger reported Wednesday that the unnamed woman decided to follow the radical fast in 2010 The paper claimed there have been similar cases of self-starvation in Germany, Britain and Australia.

Comment: I seriously, wonder whether this is about a need to feel superior to everybody else. Due to my own experiences with people, I have got the impression that some meditators think they are spiritually superior but according to long term meditator Tom Kenyon, many become dependent on the psychoactive substances produced by the brain during certain types of meditation. I have also noted other ways that people who think they are spiritual assume they are superior to others because they have certain abilities. In my limited experience, after having run-ins with some of these people, I have never been impressed with their ethics and it seems taking heed of the dangers of spiritual pride is not particularly fashionable these days.

Mysterious green clouds have been spotted over the Russian capital, sparking fears of a chemical disaster and even some doomsday theories.

But the Emergencies Ministry is advising the public to calm down. It says the clouds are actually composed of birch pollen, not of chemicals from an allegedly burning factory in the Moscow region, as some reported.

Some people, however, got so scared that even the official comments could not convince them. Russian Twitter users have been posting alarming messages like “Moscow schools are closed because of the blast! Children are sent home,” “Sky has turned completely green in Moscow’s south!” and “The factory in Kaluga is destroyed!” A flood of 911 calls was also registered.

Others believe that the authorities are hiding information from the public: “Pollen is just an excuse. It might as well be the beginning of the Apocalypse!” one popular Russian blogger posted to his readers.

Comment: This is quite incredible to be having such geomagnetic storms and highly respectable auroras so far south (kansas & Northern Ireland?) based on a few passing CMEs that did not even hit us directly... Wanted: fragments of a minivan-sized meteor that exploded over northern California and Nevada on Sunday morning and may well have survived to strike Earth.

Meteorites – meteors that make landfall – can provide crucial information about the chemical composition of the early solar system. "It's like getting sample return without having to go there," says Bill Cooke of NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office at the Marshall Space Flight Centre in Huntsville, Alabama.

However, meteorites are rare. Though meteors frequently streak across the sky, they tend to burn up before reaching the ground or they land in the sea. There's reason to think the recent meteor is different.

Apart from exploding over land, it created a sonic boom, so it must have stayed intact for long enough for it to get down into the denser air low in the atmosphere – just 16 kilometres above the Earth's surface, Cooke reckons – raising the chance that some of it hit the dirt.

Comment: I suppose I am struggling with the idea that a rock the size of van went undetected.... it all seems very strange to me when astronomy glossaries only want to talk about meteors being made up of 'dust' and 'small' rocks...

Comment: This is seriously shocking.... people with no love who seem to get some kind of buzz from controlling and bullying, even disabled children.... calling these people scum is not really appropriate. Due to the research into psychopaths by psychiatrists, it is well established that there is a sub-species of human 'type' on this planet. Some psychologists are so appalled by these people that they are referred to as 'aliens'. Maybe, what we have are those who look like humans but they so spiritually unevolved that they should be classified as 'sub-humans' or even aliens and people need to be informed that they exist in quite large numbers. The problem that I have found is that some of these types come very cleverly disguised...and parts of society has made being a psychopath quite respectable..... Due to celestial epigenetics removing anything that is not in harmony with new universal directives, long term I don't fancy the chances of the sub-species but I think in the short-term, they will continue to cause unpleasantness for 'real' humans.

We are surrounded by a constantly changing magnetic field, be it Earth's or those emanating from devices, such as cell phones. Carlos Martino, an assistant professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, is interested in understanding how these magnetic-field fluctuations change biochemical reactions inside us.

Martino explains that the subject is controversial. "Our research shows that exposure to different types of magnetic fields affect biological response," he says. "More importantly, the exposure levels are well below the standard levels" approved by the World Health Organization. "This raises the concern of safety issues," he adds. Martino presented some of his work at the Experimental Biology 2012 meeting in San Diego, California on April 23.

Comment: It looks like this is an update on biologically active magnetic fields but the article does not make it clear whether these are environmental or artificial magnetic fields. I suppose I need to find a research paper and try and read it...

Regarding Wilson’s predictions, U.K. scientist and professor emeritus of Biogeography at the University of London Philip Stott commented, “The Earth has gone through many periods of major extinctions, some much larger than even being contemplated today.” He went on to say “…the idea that we can keep all species that now exist would be anti-evolutionary, anti-nature and anti the very nature of the Earth in which we live.” [Yes, this applies to humans too...]

Comment: Very few people understand that evolutionary change is energy driven. All life on Earth cannot just change without an input of energy from somewhere (basic physics) and since Earth is NOT a closed system, the only way Earth will get New Energy is if it literally arrives from space. Well, energy has been arriving (or blasting the planet, depending on your perspective) in ever increasing amounts. We have now got to the stage where scientists refer to hurricanes in space, this is one of my favourite space weather quotes:

Comment: So instead of auroras disappearing we get lots of auroras spotted in more than a dozen US states.... from a few insignificant CMEs when Earth was not even hit directly (auroras were caused by Earth passing through the wake of a CME), according to spaceweather.com.... Whatever, I was most impressed with this photograph of auroras in Giants Causeway, Ireland. This is a long way south for PURPLE auroras from a so-called 'mild' geomagnetic storm... Co. Antrim Coast, Giant's Causeway and Ballintoy Harbour Quite frankly, if this keeps up, some will have to come to the conclusion that something fundamental has changed with Earth's magnetosphere....

Because this group, the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, has had significant influence on scientists’ attitudes toward UFOs over the years—by constantly promoting the idea that there is nothing worthwhile to study—a closer examination of its role in debunking the phenomenon is warranted.

Simply put, my opinion is that the U.S. government does not have the right to keep the American people and the rest of humanity in the dark, decade after decade, about the UFO reality and the now well-documented interest on the part of their pilots in our nuclear weapons. The headline 'science and UFOs' is misleading because most of the article is whingeing about a paid skeptic ---- oh so what's new... Considering the fact that elite scientists have already had some very interesting insights about UFOs combined with the ongoing scientific research, people who don't realise that Earth has a shadow biosphere are just simply uninformed and for the naysayers and those who have not been convinced by having an encounter, they obviously don't have much ability to engage brain and think. Well, as the planet is beginning to swarm with orbs and UAPs, it will be interesting to know how skeptics can continue to ignore reality.

Today the Royal Astronomical Society in London publishes (online) Henrik Svensmark’s latest paper entitled “Evidence of nearby supernovae affecting life on Earth”. After years of effort Svensmark shows how the variable frequency of stellar explosions not far from our planet has ruled over the changing fortunes of living things throughout the past half billion years. Appearing in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, it’s a giant of a paper, with 22 figures, 30 equations and about 15,000 words.

Comment: Svensmark has a special place in my heart, he is a TRUE scientist... He has some real gumption to go up against the establishment and beat them at their own game.... A class act... Well, this has given me something to chew on.... I already knew that scientists could link massive evolutionary change with changes in the cosmic environment, now I have a new research paper on supernovae affecting life on Earth that is completely up to date. Well done Henrik Svensmark! I like this comment: "A mark of a good hypothesis is that it looks better and better as time passes." This is the same with the basic premise of my book that Space Weather was the promised arrival of a New Age dominated by aether or space made by genuine modern Mayan Elders.... As time has gone by, validation by the various space agencies has continued to roll in. There are lots of interesting comments here. I note the mention of Betelgeuse which I also thought of as I know a few savants in the metaphysical community are expecting a blast from Betelgeuse coming our way...

Holliger and his team engineered enzymes that helped the six types of XNA to assemble and replicate genetic messages. The enzymes transcribed DNA into the various XNAs, then back into new DNA strands — with 95% accuracy or more. [...]

“For the first time, this confirms that replication, heredity and evolution are possible in these alternative backbones,” says Holliger.."This is very interesting with respect to the origin of life," says Jack Szostak of Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

This suggests XNAs might form the basis of life on other planets, where different environments led to different chemistry. "I would be surprised if we find truly extraterrestrial life that was based on DNA and RNA," Holliger says. "There might have been an XNA-world on a different planet."

Comment: I am not a biologist or astrobiologist, but it is difficult to comprehend why they have been so limited in their thinking about other forms of life. Now, this article casually mentions that alternatives to DNA & RNA could exist.... seriously.... why is the concept of diversity in the universe so hard to comprehend?

Speaking to MSNBC, Lovelock admitted spicing up his books with headline-catching doomsday predictions.

In 2006 Dr Lovelock predicted the Earth “would catch a morbid fever” that would destroy six billion people - "the few breeding pairs of people that survive will be in the Arctic where the climate remains tolerable,” he predicted. In 2009, he was telling the Guardian that "we may face planet-wide devastation worse even than unrestricted nuclear war between superpowers".

"I made a mistake," the 92-year-old scientist now says.

Comment: Hmmmm... I suppose the original alarmists thought the build up of cosmic energy would fry the planet, but instead we have a problem with an energy build up setting off volcanoes and massive earthquakes which creates a different problem. Some people are being fried, but that can't be helped as they won't have a decent energy field and there is no other kind of mitigation for certain kind of harmful energies. Hence, the talk of evolution and devolution....

SIERRA FIREBALL DECODED: On Sunday morning, April 22nd, just as the Lyrid meteor shower was dying down, a spectacular fireball exploded over California's Sierra Nevada mountain range. The loud explosion rattled homes from central California to Reno, Nevada, and beyond. According to Bill Cooke, head of NASA's Meteoroid Envronment Office, the source of the blast was a meteoroid about the size of a minivan.

"Elizabeth Silber at Western University has searched for infrasound signals from the explosion," says Cooke. "Infrasound is very low frequency sound which can travel great distances. There were strong signals at 2 stations, enabling a triangulation of the energy source at 37.6N, 120.5W. This is marked by a yellow flag in the map below."

"The energy is estimated at a whopping 3.8 kilotons of TNT (about one fourth the energy of the 'Little Boy' bomb dropped on Hiroshima), so this was a big event," he continues. "I am not saying there was a 3.8 kiloton explosion on the ground in California. I am saying that the meteor possessed this amount of energy before it broke apart in the atmosphere. [The map] shows the location of the atmospheric breakup, not impact with the ground."

"The fact that sonic booms were heard indicates that this meteor penetrated very low in atmosphere, which implies a speed less than 15 km/s (33,500 mph). Assuming this value for the speed, I get a mass for the meteor of around 70 metric tons. Hazarding a further guess at the density of 3 grams per cubic centimeter (solid rock), I calculate a size of about 3-4 meters, or about the size of a minivan."

"This meteor was probably not a Lyrid; without a trajectory, I cannot rule out a Lyrid origin, but I think it likely that it was a background or sporadic meteor."

Comment: I noticed last week there was an awful lot of asteroids in the spaceweather.com table of 'Recent & Upcoming Earth-asteroid encounters'.... I think these must be smaller asteroids that are simply too small to detect, but it seems they are big enough to be spectacular as they burst through Earth's atmosphere and mostly burn up...

The massive European satellite the size of a school bus that has mysteriously stopped communicating with Earth has been spotted by another satellite in orbit.

The giant Envisat satellite, which is the world's largest imaging satellite for civilian use, was photographed in stunning detail by a French spacecraft that is also designed to snap high-resolution images of Earth, officials with the European Space Agency (ESA) said Friday (April 20).

The photo of Envisat in space reveals that the $2.9 billion spacecraft is intact and that its huge solar array is deployed. Envisat is a huge satellite that weighs about 17,600 pounds (8,000 kilograms). It is about 30 feet long (9 meters) and 16 feet wide (5 m), not counting the solar wing.

Comment: Hmmmm.... $2.9 billion spacecraft... I was worried when I updated my book so I refrained on the price tag of these satellites and only stated the military spacecraft were about a billion dollars, because I did not have much information to go on, and now it looks like I was too cautious...

(Phys.org) -- In the business of everyday life, it’s easy to overlook things that could cause a serious disruption to how life is lived; floods happen, hurricanes, volcanoes and tsunamis like the one that devastated Japan last year. And now it seems, there is one more potential disaster we should add to the list: geomagnetic storms caused by coronal mass ejections from the sun. Mike Hapgood head of the space environment group with RAL Space, part of the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council, has written a commentary published in the journal Nature, suggesting that it’s time we quit burying our heads in the sand regarding the devastating impact a serious solar storm could have on modern populations.

The problem he points out, is that we’ve become so dependent on electricity and electronic communications, that a big solar storm could cause power grids the world over to go down, and for GPS to become non-functional for an unknown amount of time, causing havoc across a wide spectrum of systems such as those used by the military, the Internet, financial institutions and of course aviation. And what’s more, he says, it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way because there are many things that could be done to prevent such a nasty outcome.

Comment: Thank God for the few with some intelligence and commonsense.... but quite frankly, you do not need to be too bright to understand what a serious threat we are under... If there is no electricity, then millions and millions of people are going to be dead within one year. This is a test of human intelligence by universal consciousness and so far too many people are failing badly....

"The Great Switch" --Sun's Magnetic Field Does a Complete Reverse Every 11 Years

The microwave radiation technique described in the second paper makes use of the discovery in 2003 that as the sun moves toward solar maximum, giant eruptions on the sun, called prominence eruptions – which during solar minimum, are concentrated at lower solar latitudes -- begin to travel toward higher latitudes near the poles. In addition, the polar brightness in the microwave wavelengths declines to very low values.

"These prominence eruptions are associated with increased solar activity such as coronal mass ejections or CMEs, so CMEs originating from higher latitudes also point to an oncoming solar maximum," says Nat Gopalswamy. Gopalswamy is a solar scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, who is the first author on the microwave observations paper, which was accepted by The Astrophysical Journal on April 11, 2012. "When we start to see prominence eruptions above 60 degrees latitude on the sun, then we know that we are reaching solar maximum."

Comment: More strangeness.... I think the talk of yet another solar model that requires modification is par for the course.... My main interest is whether this allows in more cosmic dust or not but we are not provided with any info here.... the dust, the dust the glorious dust.... sorry, I got a little too excited there.... Instead of passing out of the hen's body and being incubated outside, the egg was incubated in the hen for 21 days and then hatched inside the hen. The chick is fully formed and healthy, although the mother has died. The government veterinary officer in the area said he had never seen anything like it before.

"It's not a sudden flip, but a slow process, during which the field strength becomes weak, very probably the field becomes more complex and might show more than two poles for a while, and then builds up in strength and [aligns] in the opposite direction," said Monika Korte, the scientific director of the Niemegk Geomagnetic Observatory at GFZ Potsdam in Germany.

The scientists say it's the weak in-between phase that would be roughest on Earthlings.

According to John Tarduno, professor of geophysics at the University of Rochester, a strong magnetic field helps protect Earth from blasts of radiation from the sun. "Coronal mass ejections (CMEs) occasionally occur on the Sun, and sometimes hurtle directly toward Earth," Tarduno said. "Some of the particles associated with CMEs can be blocked by Earth's magnetic field. With a weak field, this shielding is less efficient."

The charged particles bombarding Earth's atmosphere during solar storms would punch holes in Earth's atmosphere, and this could hurt humans. "Ozone holes, like that over Antarctica (which today are due to an entirely different cause related to man) could form as solar particles interact with the atmosphere in a cascade of chemical reactions. These 'holes' would not be permanent, but might be present on one- to 10-year timescales — arguably important enough to be a concern in terms of skin cancer rates," Tarduno said. Comment: I totally agree with comment that it's when the Earth's magnetic field is weak that I think HUMANS WILL HAVE A PROBLEM AND A STRONG PERSONAL ENERGY FIELD IS REQUIRED. We already have the European Space Agency telling us Killer electrons are being beamed into our atmosphere during bouts of space weather, but recently, NASA said the Killer electrons are beamed out into space.... who do you believe? According to widely accepted theories, the solar neighbourhood was expected to be filled with dark matter, a mysterious invisible substance that can only be detected indirectly by the gravitational force it exerts. But a new study by a team of astronomers in Chile has found that these theories just do not fit the observational facts. This may mean that attempts to directly detect dark matter particles on Earth are unlikely to be successful.

Comment: How wrong is wrong? Many people think the "science" is basically good metaphysics, but I have found that most don't understand the metaphysics either... I have a question: what burnt out the Tether in one of NASA's most embarrassing experiments when the joint venture with the Italian space agency, known as the Italian tethered satellite experiment (TSS-1R) on the STS-75 mission that went horribly wrong? Besides frying the computer aboard $442 million Italian satellite that was designed to process the experimental data, the "current" melted the tether and left the one end that was retrieved, looking like "curly french fries".... In a sign that mainstream media is beginning to pay serious attention to the unidentified flying object phenomenon, local Arizona TV news affiliate ABC15 did a two-minute news segment on the fireball which was reportedly streaking across the sky as the newscast aired live. Witness photographs and videos were shown on-screen, and this one, showing an irregular flight path of the object, was broadcast.

Comment: Crazy - The media news calls this a GIANT ball of light.... But, we have a claim from a reporter standing around and he says he saw 2 orbs/ufos within an hour... I can only presume there was a lot of activity in the sky, there could even have been a big green meteor but the orange streak in the media image looks like a fiery orb... the exposure for the photo is too long hence the streak effect... Really, this is like deja vu, over and over again... It's not groundhog day, it's ground 'orb' day and night.... But wait a minute, this news reports says NASA admit there is another satellite expected to fall out of the sky at the end of the month .... I can't keep up with this...

Sometimes, it's hard to know what to say... Well, I have worked hard for 7 years and at least I understand enough about what is going on to inform others, but more importantly I understand WHY.... Basically, the sounds of the apocalypse are warning of what is coming and the same was heard in ancient times. The magnetosphere is breaking down to allow in huge volumes of cosmic and galactic energy and the result will be evolution or devolution right here on planet Earth. So far, most seem to be oblivious and that also reflects the stance of ancient civilisations that were generally wiped out with only a few survivors in the past. This time, I understand things will not be so severe, but poor geomagnetic conditions may only be the best case scenario.

(Reuters) - A sleepy Air Canada pilot first mistook the planet Venus for an aircraft, and then sent his airliner diving toward the Atlantic to prevent an imaginary collision with another plane, an official report said on Monday.

Sixteen passengers and crew were hurt in the January 2011 incident, when the first officer rammed the control stick forward to avoid a U.S. plane he wrongly thought was heading straight toward him.

"Under the effects of significant sleep inertia (when performance and situational awareness are degraded immediately after waking up), the first officer perceived the oncoming aircraft as being on a collision course and began a descent to avoid it," Canada's Transportation Safety Board said. "This occurrence underscores the challenge of managing fatigue on the flight deck," said chief investigator Jon Lee.

Comment: ?????????? I don't think this is just about fatigue, as I keep saying, pilots and flight crews are now working in extreme geomagnetic conditions. The brain is being affected as well as emotional issues being brought up by electromagnetic signals literally twanging the human energy field.... Well, we will all soon find out what this is like as conditions at ground level get progressively worse too. Another thought, maybe the pilot saw a UFO and panicked.... Professor Cornelis de Jager from the Netherlands has put a new publication on his website. It is a study of Dirk K. Callebaut, Cornelis de Jager and Silvia Duhau. They conclude that planetary effects are too small by several orders of magnitude to be a main cause of the solar cycle. A planetary explanation of the solar cycle is hardly possible.

The paper is titled: The influence of planetary attractions on the solar tachocline

Abstract: We present a physical analysis of the occasionally forwarded hypothesis that solar variability, as shown in the various photospheric and outer solar layer activities, might be due to the Newtonian attraction by the planets.

Comment: Interesting.... solar scientists did not even know 'The Tachocline' even existed until a decade or so ago, but now they agreeing that this is where the Sun's magnetic field originates. Here, we have some proper nonsense telling us that the incredibly weak gravitational planetary forces cannot affect something inside the Sun that is supposed to be generating magnetic fields? This kind of 'science' just boggles the mind... I could have told them that and they could have saved themselves some trouble.... A leading earthquake scientist has warned that the planet could be cracking up after a series of massive quakes in just 48 hours. Expert Gheorghe Marmureanu - from Romania's National Institute of Earth Physics - says 39 quakes had hit the globe within two days.

The series started with two massive quakes in Indonesia measuring 8.6 and 8.2 on the Richter scale rapidly followed by three more only slightly smaller in Mexico within hours. "There is no doubt that something is seriously wrong. There have been too many strong earthquakes," said Marmureanu.

He added: "The quakes are a surprise that cannot be easily explained by current scientific knowledge. With the Indonesian quake for example, statistically, there should be one big earthquake in this part of Asia every 500 years. However, since 2004, there were already three quakes with a magnitude of over 8, which is not normal.

Comment: From a geophysical point of view, this is a very serious claim. However, as there has been a massive build up of energy on this planet, this is the time when we can expect some serious changes.... The geological record is evidence that changes can take place very quickly. Yes, that is why some countries have been doing huge earthquake drills, it seems that experts have already tipped off governments that we can expert some trauma... I believe we can make a link with the delivery of massive amounts of energy from deep space and the predictions it is about to get serious....

Comment: Tom Kenyon thinks it's going to hit the fan..... The Hathors don't tend to use such language....I don't know.... All I know is that The Hathors bothered to mention some important information that humans are subject to harmful Earth energies that can flash fry the human energy field. (De-gassing Earth energies prior to earthquakes that act as earthquake precursor signals that can be picked up by satellites.) Due to my normal pursuit of chasing down information, I have found more than enough scientific evidence that this is true. They talk about devolution, yes, I even mentioned devolution in my Planetary Challenges report, but the need to clean up the human energy field is an old message given by the few really faithful in the metaphysical community.... you know, the nobodies.... Update: I have been thinking... I guess The Hathors KNOW that when the Venus Transit in (June 5–6 in 2012) occurs that 'something' is going to 'switch back on' in the Sun and then there is going to be hellfire.... Well, I have said I would not make any predictions until we see if the long term Ap (the solar geomagnetic index) on the Sun recovers, see archives for graphs and links. I know what the best solar forecasters are saying, but so far, solar scientists as a whole do not have a great track record predicting the behaviour of the Sun. What amazes me, is the severe reaction around our planet to the occasional solar gusts in the last few months, we are not even talking hurricane strength solar blasts.... If we get an X20+ solar flare and then a few big CMES, it is going to be horrific.... but that is not a prediction because as I say, I want to see some evidence first that something has changed in the Sun....

"[Pilots] have done evasive maneuvers to get out of the way, but that's what we're trained to do," McDonald, the new international director of the Mutual UFO Network, told The Huffington Post. "Whether [the UFO] would have veered off, it's really hard to say if they are a hazard to flight or not."

Comment: Well, it has been quite week for UFO sightings and the trend for sightings will either keep going up or hover around these high levels, because our reality has fundamentally changed. As I have reported on this website, NARCAP advises pilots to not make sudden dangerous movements to avoid UFOs/UAPs, because the UFOs/UAPs can move much faster than airplanes.... this is the same advice provided by the UK MOD to their pilots. I now believe that it might take a few more years but every man and his dog will have their own UFO/UAP stories as it becomes obvious that our planet hosts a shadow biosphere. The scrambled warplanes were seen intercepting a mystery object hovering over Somerset. Dad-of-three Richard Bird, 38, told how the supersonic jets probed the “strange sock-shaped” entity above his garden in Bath. He said: “They were having a really good look.”

Comment: The story is still bogus. Even if it's true fighter jets were investigating a ufo, why would the MOD jet fighters draw attention to what they were doing by making such a racket? The libraries said the digitised collections will centre on three subject areas: Greek manuscripts, 15th-century printed books and Hebrew manuscripts and early printed books.

Comment: Hmmmm..... Due to all the other activity of moving books underground (in the UK books are being placed in salt domes for "preservation", the Vatican are doing the same with books) and the Vatican/NASA combined effort to digitise rare Vatican manuscripts, I imagine this is part of a greater effort to preserve information just in case there is some major disaster, hence the new doomsday vault in Svalbard, Norway for seeds. I even wonder if that is why Google have been digitising books too.... I imagine that efforts are being made to back anything up of great importance and considering what is taking place on this planet, we are waiting for the Sun to really wake up (the long term Ap, the solar geomagnetic index to recover), before we can really assess what life will be like on this planet in the future. BUT, if we go into a Maunder-like Minimum, I am still not sure what that would mean because the magnetosphere seems to be breaking down and we are in completely uncharted waters for what life would be like in severe geomagnetic conditions.

LUCKY MAGNETIC STORM: A solar wind stream hit Earth's magnetic field on April 12th, sparking a geomagnetic storm (Kp=5) that peaked during the early hours of Friday the 13th. Northern Lights were sighted over the USA as far south as Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. In Beecher, Wisconsin, photographer Brian Larmay made this lucky shot of the International Space Station flying through the display:

The auroras were very impressive here in northeastern Wisconsin," says Larmay.

Another photographer, Shawn Malone of Marquette, Michigan, sends this report from the shores of Lake Superior: "The sky was ablaze in light. Northern lights were so bright they lit up the beach! It was an amazing night."

Comment: Well, I did note on the 9th April 2012, spaceweather.com provided the snippet LAST AURORAS OF THE ARCTIC SEASON? ... Apparently, we are approaching the end of the aurora season, but all this means is that the sun makes the auroras harder to see.... Well, I think I will make a prediction that spaceweather.com will soon be reporting daylight auroras because we have already had a report back in August 2010. Like so many atmospheric manifestations, rarely is something brand new, the difference with the extreme conditions on this planet is the 'rarity' happening on a weekly basis. The reason why is that our little planet is getting severely buffeted by space weather. For those who are long termers, please note we are now getting some severe so-called magnetic reconnection events that are so bad those who are less educated are shouting they think the magnetosphere is now temporarily reversing...

Comment: Yes, I have noticed the great efforts to dumb people down and it is clear it has worked. "Just heard a very weird noise so tried to capture it out of our window! Around 6pm-ish 12/04/2012. Was going on for a good 10mins or so, kept cutting in and out like that. Lots of storm clouds in the distance so we wondered if it was a strange phenomenon where a noise from a plane or thunder could bounce/echo around the clouds or something? First thing I've ever uploaded to youtube as I've never heard anything like it in my life! Sorry my hand's a bit shaky!"

Comment: Well, well, well, this might a disturb a few... this is quite a roar... in fact, 10 minutes of roaring but only 3 minutes provided here.... The uploader also writes that the MOD declared this was caused by TWO RAF jets, so presumably the UK MOD decided jets going round and round in circles for a while was a great idea... (Yes, I have picked up the rubbish that there was a jet in trouble but it would not be travelling at a speed to create sonic booms if that was true....) Whatever, I think this is a classic video... North Devon to the West Midlands is a long way for a sonic boom to be heard... Oh well, people think the magnetosphere breaking down is some kind of joke, but I don't think it will remain a joke for much longer...

Flood of calls The MoD said the Typhoons, from the Quick Reaction Alert (QRA), based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, were scrambled and authorised to go supersonic after the small civilian helicopter had emitted an emergency signal.

A spokesman said the frequency was only used when an aircraft was in particular trouble, such as a hijacking. He said the aircraft were already on their way to the helicopter by the time the helicopter pilot realised he was transmitting on the wrong frequency and switched to the correct one."

This "news" report from the BBC is a garbled mess.... Listen to the actual recording which is supposed to be only 3 minutes from 10 minutes of roaring in Bath, UK....Remember, the sound was heard over a large area... Why would the fighter jet(s) go sonic AFTER doing "tight" circles and when the emergency was over? It is difficult to comment on a story that is so badly concocted.

"NASA is swiping back at a group of nearly 50 of its former scientists and astronauts who wrote to accuse the space agency of advocating the “extreme” position that global warming is the result of man-made carbon dioxide."

In a March 28 letter addressed to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, 49 former employees said the “unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASA’s history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements.”

But NASA responded on Wednesday by saying they don’t “draw conclusions and issue ‘claims’ about research findings.”

Comment: I really don't think NASA should be picking a fight with these people, I am sure these people know the whereabouts of some BIG skeletons in some BIG closets if you know what I mean... My advice to NASA is don't provoke them because things could get really nasty... Contact has been lost with the European Space Agency's (Esa) flagship Earth observation mission - Envisat. Controllers stopped receiving data from the eight-tonne spacecraft on Sunday, and have not as yet been able to re-establish communications.

Envisat was launched in 2002 and is already operating five years beyond its planned mission lifetime. Esa was expecting to turn off the spacecraft in 2014, once the first in a series of follow-ons had been launched.

Contrail or Meteor? A bright object that streaked across the Texas sky during the day April 4, originally believed to be a meteor burning up as it entered Earth’s atmosphere, was actually a flying jet and its contrail, a NASA scientist has confirmed. Space.com

Comment: The reason for the flip-flop is simple, these fireballs are so huge and slow they cannot be classified as fireballs or meteors. I think they are some kind of plasma manifestation but in the past I have compared them to 'ghost rockets' because there is already a lot of historical UFO reports about this particular type of sighting. Well, I have great difficulty classifying these things because lightning and sprites are plasma phenomena but I don't think they demonstrate 'intelligence' in the same way as orbs and UFOs that seem to react to humans. Yet, these things are strange because they are big and slow but then can decide to turn in the sky for no reason that we can understand... Personally, I would prefer to believe this is some kind of 'placeholder' entity (a planet sized neuron) and it will go into the Earth at a particular location and that will be the last we see of it, but then of course, the traffic of these things is not really slowing down just yet. Comment: More cosmic neighbours arriving to take up residence on planet Earth.... Hmmm.... I wonder why some of these orbs are so geometrical... Could this be a data drop as opposed to an entity? Gleick, president of the Pacific Institute, who committed theft, fraud, and defamation in the “Fakegate” scandal – all potential crimes and an affront to scientists everywhere.

Gleick is slated to deliver a lecture on “The Human Right to Water” at the prestigious university just weeks after he admitted to stealing the identity of a board member of The Heartland Institute to obtain confidential documents – including personal information of Heartland employees and board members – which he subsequently sent to environmental activists and sympathetic journalists.

Comment: The problem is when deceit and lying is deeply embedded with beliefs, hence all the articles that I have blogged about climate scientists who believe lying is OK to further the agenda of everyone agreeing that something has to be done about climate change. Even though it is now quite certain that climate change on Earth is being driven by changes in the cosmic environment. These people are no longer 'real' scientists they are "believers" and therefore can become dangerous and untrustworthy. After my own issues with people claiming to be 'enlightened' and then finding out that they were corrupted and you could trust them as far as I could throw them, which is not very far.... I felt driven to understand my experiences and find out what was really going on. The result is my essay Spiritual Evolution in the Cultic Milieu, which I feel was a milestone for me. I realise that some people are desperate for power and recognition, so the lying and deceitfulness can border on being psychopathic, but their followers are programmed with the same values. It does not matter what is being said verbally, energy and information is transferred at another level and this explains why when someone gets into a position of power the same pattern of behaviour repeats. That is why I think the New Age idea of people transfering 'their' templates is one hell of a bad idea, especially if they have very 'culty' templates. Someone like James Ray, who was purely motivated by power and greed, was happy to tell people he wanted to become a billionaire. There are a few others out there that have dreadful track records and also claim loudly they want to become billionaires. Yet, the treatment of people in their care indicates strongly that these people are psychopaths. What is so frightening is why so many people deliberately overlook the really awful behaviour and somehow get a buzz from being around these people. Personally, I don't get it at all.... even after a good thousand hours of study in the last four years... I don't know all the answers... I have come across a few really nasty people who seem to be compulsive liars one of them was even trying to tell me about spiritual evolution... Some of the things I have experienced I would have never had believed was possible, but I suppose I needed some education...

But after 20 minutes during which he sat at reception and calmly smoking a cigarette, the obstetrician returned to the Suzuki and began ramming the salon window.

Comment: Can you imagine that this was a professional person who delivers babies! I know there are lots and lots of crazy stories but someone losing their temper over being forced to wait 20 minutes is just peculiar. I think this is so bizzare that it might have been an example of someone who was "triggered" by bad geomagnetic conditions.

A dark matter particle smacks into an average person’s body about once a minute, and careens off oxygen and hydrogen nuclei in your cells, according to theoretical physicists. Dark matter is streaming through you as you read this, most of it unimpeded.

Dark matter is arguably the greatest mystery in modern physics. Observations from multiple sources across a few decades now shows that most of the universe is made of matter we can’t see — hence the name — but no one has been able to find it. One strong candidate for this dark material is called a WIMP, for weakly interacting massive particle, and there are a variety of observatories in Europe and the U.S. that are looking for these things. Some have found promising hints, but others have seen a whole lot of nothing.

Still, cosmologists generally agree there’s a halo of dark matter particles out there, and our solar system and our planet are flying through it. In a new paper, Katherine Freese at the University of Michigan and Christopher Savage at Stockholm University in Sweden thought about what this means for our bodies.

Comment: Only once a minute?...the research paper abstract actually says:

We investigate the interactions of Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) with nuclei in the human body. We are motivated by the fact that WIMPs are excellent candidates for the dark matter in the Universe. Our estimates use a 70 kg human and a variety of WIMP masses and cross-sections. The contributions from individual elements in the body are presented and it is found that the dominant contribution is from scattering off of oxygen (hydrogen) nuclei for the spin-independent (spin-dependent) interactions. For the case of 60 GeV WIMPs, we find that, of the billions of WIMPs passing through a human body per second, roughly ~10 WIMPs hit one of the nuclei in the human body in an average year, if the scattering is at the maximum consistent with current bounds on WIMP interactions.

The headline gives the impression that only the physical body matters but of course that is just old obsolete thinking.... There are problems with the definition of 'dark' because most people don't realise that these particles are real. Just because scientists can't measure sub-atomic particles does not mean they are not physical.... The real issue for those interested in the metaphysics is how this energy interacts with the human energy field and especialy the morphogenetic fields that controls the physical body. The statement that "there’s a halo of dark matter particles out there, and our solar system and our planet are flying through it" is interesting and presumably there is a link with the band of ultra high energy photons that have been discovered... Whatever, it is a fact that various scientists believe that this planet and everything on it is now experiencing of a new flow of dark matter.... Apparently, this is something that happens on a regular basis. As far as I am concerned this is just more confirmation that it is possible to integrate science and metaphysics.

Comment: Wow.... I think this is interesting because the people complaining are extremely pro establishment and they are basically saying they have NO FAITH in current climate models that are blatantly wrong.... BUT, I can't imagine these people don't understand what is really going on... Regardless, I think many establishment people are embarrassed by Hansens's behaviour who seems to be acting like he is on a crusade... Personally, I would be interested to know if Hansen really believes that CO₂ is causing climate change or whether he just wants some kind of drastic geoengineering solution. I would also like to know whether he realises that this is really about space climate change driving climate change on Earth.... As I have stated before, the reasons for removing CO₂ from the atmosphere has NOTHING to do with helping to geoengineer the climate, it is much more esoteric than that...

TEXAS CITY — A series of red lights in the skies over Moses Lake on Saturday night have plenty of residents curious if the city was visited by out-of-this world aliens who might have been in town for the holiday weekend. Residents captured the glowing objects on video and photos and posted them on social media sites.

Facebook was alive with posts about the red objects, and YouTube had some rather interesting video posts. Even the city’s head of homeland security wants to take a look at the videos and photos.

Comment: How long can this denial go on? Well, I suppose if someone was in complete denial, they could say these are flares that can defy gravity.... Anyway, I suppose the real problem is that not so many are interested in reality.... I am now quite convinced that the elite who rule this world have always known that this planet hosts a shadow biosphere that occasionally manifested, have you read the so-called science "fiction" book Sinister Barrier? There are a few other books out there that make it quite obvious certain people are in the know... I presume the shadow biosphere became more of an issue when airplanes were invented and then in World War II, pilots had to cope with the "foo fighters". Yet, based on the discovery of radar and its use from the 1940s, world authorities have known for sure about the "radar angels" and just decided to ignore them, telling pilots, military and civilian to say nothing if something was seen or risk losing their employment... Of course, the existence of earthlights has always been part of folklore... Well, since the fabric of space-time has been slowly slowly changing and in recent years there has been an acceleration in the change, the "radar angels" are now being seen over and over again, they are no longer just seen in remote regions, they are now buzzing major cities.... BUT, in the 1970s, a few ufologists had worked this out but hardly anyone would damn well listen. Humans are generally ignorant and arrogant, we want to believe that in a universe of sextillion stars (1 with 23 zeros) we are the only form of life.... ANTARCTIC MOON HALO: In the icy lands around the south pole, ordinary things take on an exotic quality. Count moon haloes among them. On April 5th, Sam Burrell photographed this specimen rising above the Brunt Ice Shelf in Antarctica:

"Around midnight, the air on the Brunt Ice Shelf the air was filled with diamond dust," says Burrell. "As the moon rose, we caught this show."

Diamond dust is the atmospheric optics term for tiny, jewel-like crystals of ice. They form on cold days in the air near ground level. When they catch the rays of the low-hanging sun or moon, the results can be spectacular. "In this single display, we could see a moon halo, moondogs, and hints of a moon pillar," says Burrell.

Comment: I don't have time to check the archives, but it looks like we have the same distortion affects caused by cosmic 'diamond' dust that makes the moon look like a diamond. This is similar to the affect that is being routinely seen with the Sun ..... truly fantastic, see archives for more information.

Silver Pheasant’s sex change stuns zoo

In a rare and a first-of-its-kind phenomenon, a Silver Pheasant, a bird belonging to the peacock family, has changed its sex from female to a male.

Confirming this and terming it a kind of “sex dimorphism”, zoo director Renu Singh told IANS that the phenomenon had surprised most of the staff in the zoo. The change was noticed by her some time back when she found the female in the bird enclosure shed not only her diminutive shape and size but also change her dull brown colour to a more vibrant colour of a male, which is often used by the polygamous male to win over female species. The female has also stopped laying eggs and has undergone all “phenotypic changes” though from a distance there seem to be no changes anatomically, Renu Singh said.

Comment: Well, there are a few stories in the archives of cocks becoming hens and laying eggs.... isn't that the same?

A clue to the identity of the UFOs is their flight formation; they appear in a more or less vertical column. The video is very shaky, making it difficult to accurately judge the movement of the lights, but it's clear that the unidentified flying objects are not hovering in a stationary position like many alleged UFOs. Instead, they're in constant motion, like an airplane or animal would be.

Another clue is the exact location of the UFOs: The mysterious lights appear in only one place in the Las Vegas skyline, directly above the Luxor Hotel.

Why is this important? Because mounted atop the 30-story pyramid is a 42.3 billion candlepower spotlight, the Luxor Sky Beam, which is the strongest beam of light in the world. The spotlight is a brilliant marketing tool that attracts millions of visitors each year — and also tons of moths and other flying insects.

Comment: LOL! The Luxor 'Pyramid' Hotel has now got a problem with flying animals, i.e. birds and bats.... Seriously? And this made the mainstream news? The Luxor light beam is a little in-joke by those who realise what pyramids are truly about, but it seems the joke is now backfiring.... So, as I keep repeating to anyone interested in a little bit of reality, the planet has been charging up like a battery with aetheric energies (space weather is delivering 'dark' and borderline detectable aetheric energies) and the pyramids have kicked in to help balance cosmic and terrestrial flows. Although we think of space as being empty, there is more out there than meets the eye – dust, for example, is everywhere. If all the material between the Sun and Jupiter were compressed together it would form a moon 25 km across. Now a new research program will try to see how much of this dust enters the Earth’s atmosphere and its impact on climate change. Metals from the cosmic dust play a part in various phenomena that affect our climate. An accurate estimate of dust would also help us understand how particles are transported through different layers of the Earth’s atmosphere. Professor John Plane of the University of Leeds will present the Cosmic Dust in the Terrestrial Atmosphere (CODITA) project on Friday 30 March at the National Astronomy meeting in Manchester, England.

CODITA has received a €2.5 million grant from the European Research Council to investigate the dust input over the next 5 years. The international team, led by Plane, is made up of 11 scientists in Leeds and a further 10 research groups in the US and Germany.

Comment: How interesting... do you remember the article not so long ago about dust exploding? (see archives...) Well, it is now patently obvious that cosmic dust is causing all the previously extremely 'rare' atmospheric affects that are now appearing on a regular 'weekly' basis, see archives.(I will say I was truly impressed with the orange/pink "bubble rainbow" in the sky seen in Windsor Ontario, Canada in March, and I don't think it should have been just labelled a full rainbow....) Whatever, the estimate for cosmic dust falling on our planet seems far too low... what the hell is a few hundred tonnes of dust? Philip Pullman’s "His Dark Materials" (2006)

Once upon a time a young adolescent studied John Milton's Paradise Lost at school and was fascinated by it. Several years later, Philip Pullman -- for it was him -- wrote his masterpiece entitled His Dark Materials after a passage from Milton's poem. This title refers to what Pullman calls "Dust" in his story. But the real source of inspiration for Dust is the scientific term that exists in our world and is called "dark matter". Of course, dark matter is not Dust. The concept of Dust with a capital D is completely invented by Pullman. It is a materialisation of consciousness. The name "Dust" comes from the Bible: "For dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return" (Genesis 4:19).

Comment: This is a dissertation written by someone French and clever. Sometimes it's a relief to find real intellects on the planet. I am thrilled by this essay and thrilled that whatever happens, I am happy that I cracked the nut of the real significance of Space Weather. It won't be long now as more intellectuals with some interest in genuine spirituality start to realise what is really going on. Solar 'climate change' could cause rougher space weather

(PhysOrg.com) -- Recent research shows that the space age has coincided with a period of unusually high solar activity, called a grand maximum. Isotopes in ice sheets and tree rings tell us that this grand solar maximum is one of 24 during the last 9300 years and suggest the high levels of solar magnetic field seen over the space age will reduce in future. This decline will cause a reduction in sunspot numbers and explosive solar events, but those events that do take place could be more damaging. Graduate student Luke Barnard of the University of Reading presented new results on ‘solar climate change’ in his paper at the National Astronomy Meeting in Manchester.

[...] The main sources of radiation are galactic cosmic rays (GCRs), which are a continuous flow of highly energetic particles from outside our solar system and solar energetic particles (SEPs), which are accelerated to high energies in short bursts by explosive events on the sun. The amount of radiation in the near-Earth environment from these two sources is partly controlled in a complicated way by the strength of the Sun's magnetic field.

There are theoretical predictions supported by observational evidence that a decline in the average strength of the Sun's magnetic field would lead to an increase in the amount of GCRs reaching near-Earth space. Furthermore there are predictions that, although a decline in solar activity would mean less frequent bursts of SEPs, the bursts that do occur would be larger and more harmful.

Currently spacecraft and aircraft are only designed and operated to offer suitable protection from the levels of radiation that have been observed over the course of the space age. A decline in solar activity would result in increased amounts of radiation in near-Earth space and therefore increased risk of harm to spacecraft and aircraft and the astronauts and aircraft crews that operate them. [...]

In presenting his results, Mr. Barnard comments: “Radiation in space can be a serious issue for both people and the delicate electronic systems that society depends on. Our research shows that this problem is likely to get worse over the coming decades – and that engineers will need to work even harder to mitigate its impact.”

Comment: NASA have already told us straight that things are expected to get far worse, see It's Official; The New Cosmic Age has arrived!, but few seem to understand the implications. This is especially so as Earth's magnetosphere (magnetic shielding) is 'leaky' and seems to be unstable as it can disappear when space weather gets rough... There is no doubt that there will be an impact on Earth's geomagnetic and atmospheric stability, the impact on our modern technological world and also on humans functioning in a highly unstable geomagnetic and electromagnetic environment.

Sprites are electrical discharges that come out of the top of thunderclouds, opposite ordinary lightning bolts which plunge toward Earth. Sprites can tower as high as 90 km above ground. That makes them a form of space weather as they overlap the zone of auroras, meteors, and noctilucent clouds.

Comment: So we have gone from atmospheric scientists ignoring this phenomena before 1989, to "surprise" that electrical conditions in the atmosphere have intensified enough such that sprite "season" will soon be all year round constant activity... The place lies in Jorhat, some 350 km from Guwahati by road, and it wasn't easy for Sunday Times to access him. At one point on the stretch, a smaller road has to be taken for some 30 km to reach the riverbank. There, if one is lucky, boatmen will ferry you across to the north bank. A trek of another 7 km will then land you near Payeng's door. Locals call the place 'Molai Kathoni' (Molai's woods) after Payeng's pet name, Molai.

It all started way back in 1979 when floods washed a large number of snakes ashore on the sandbar. One day, after the waters had receded, Payeng , only 16 then, found the place dotted with the dead reptiles. That was the turning point of his life. [...]

The Assam state forest department learnt about Payeng's forest only in 2008 when a herd of some 100 wild elephants strayed into it after a marauding spree in villages nearby. They also destroyed Payeng's hutment . It was then that assistant conservator of forests Gunin Saikia met Payeng for the first time.

"We were surprised to find such a dense forest on the sandbar. Locals, whose homes had been destroyed by the pachyderms, wanted to cut down the forest, but Payeng dared them to kill him instead. He treats the trees and animals like his own children. Seeing this, we, too, decided to pitch in," says Saikia. "We're amazed at Payeng. He has been at it for 30 years. Had he been in any other country, he would have been made a hero."

Comment: There are lots of version of this story but I choose this one because the Times of India actually bothered to send a reporter. This is an amazing story, to think that he decided he could make a difference and just kept going when the experts told him it was impossible, the "authorities" only found out after 25 years and the forest had sprung up.... I am full of admiration for this person.... incredible.... There are many comments from others who appreciate the effort.... Well, Payeng is the only kind of environmentalist that I like... people who just get on with it.... In my research I talk about a Planetary Refresh where New Energy is replacing Old Energy and this is causing a massive flux that humans are susceptible too if they don't have strong and protective energy fields. Comment: I ignored so many of these images until one day I decided to propose my belief that we seeing highly charged images held in the aether that are appearing in our reality due to high levels of aetheric energy on the planet. In metaphysical langage, this is information held in the Akashic Records. Dr. Michael Persinger, the famous Neuroscientist at Ontario University, believes that human memories are being directly stored in the Earth's magnetic field, but I think this is a little different scenario. It is more likely that images of Jesus are appearing more often than others because as a God-man, he was a figure of adoration and so this would have set up a very strong psychically charged field of energy somewhere in the aethers. This would have been continously re-charged supposedly over two millenia, (but I imagine this really started when the Catholic Church first encouraged the use of icons). These reports will not go away but, I don't know anyone else who is bold enough to explain the science even though I waited a long time before I would say anything. I now think this is totally clear that these imprints on other materials are being caused by a deluge of celestial energy with a high aetheric component due to the new phenomenon of spaceweather. The same reason why the normally invisible shadow biosphere is appearing en masse...Please note: there is even strange examples of writing appearing on human flesh and I believe this is for exactly the same reason. I have no idea if the number of reports will escalate or not, we will have to see...

Hmmmm.... The ACE satellite has been knocked out since a CME hit on the 9th of March (I think some monitors were working as the last NICT computer simulations I have seen were dated the 15th March but there are no NICT movies after the 8th March). I have no idea what others systems are in place to provide the requisite space weather forecasting. I cannot provide any status of space weather forecasting because unadvertised systems have been in place for years and being used like the US Air Force had a system since 2003 where they swept the sky every 102 minutes looking for CMEs. I hear that this is now defunct too... Ironically, the satellite monitor was probably knocked out by too much space weather. Basically the only acknowledged last warning system of severe space weather for the whole planet has been gone a week now....

I have said this often enough... flight attendents and pilots are mentally vulnerable in these extreme geomagnetic conditions when they are regularly crossing backwards and forwards over so many timezones. But in reality, they are actually crossing major geomagnetic field lines or Birkeland currents in dark mode, so I imagine there is some interaction with the human brain.

This is not the first burn by a patient in recent months either.... Simply there is a lot of charge flowing about and flowing charge constitutes an electric current. Society thinks electricity is something that comes from a wall socket when it can literally flow through the air. During bad geomagnetic storms we will get electrical fires caused by electricity flowing through the air, so maybe there was too much charge on/in this women's body and that could be for a number of reasons.... At the moment, the medical world and profession only think in terms of chemicals, they generally do not consider humans as being bioelectromagnetic, but soon this is going to become a real issue.... Hence I am watching out for people burning up for no reason too. We are going to see a lot of weirdness until more people wake up to what is happening in our world (space weather and Earth becoming a high energy plasma environment), and we start doing business differently...

Our 4.5 billion-year old Solar System exits in a universe that is estimated to be between 13.5 and 14 billion years old. Experts believe that there could be advanced civilizations out there that have existed for 1.8 gigayears (one gigayear = one billion years).

“They could be staring us in the face and we just don’t recognize them. The problem is that we’re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology."

Comment: Daily Galaxy have decided to recycle some old quotes and I was tempted to repeat this info. I have great respect for Lord Martin Rees, who is officially the queen's astronomer, and I believe he is no damn fool. I am totally convinced he is in the know and realises that most people are too uneducated to be able to countenance the idea that another interdimensional lifeform lives side by side with humans. The evidence is overwhelming that elite scientists know the truth, they are elite because they are not stupid, but they will lie to maintain the big secret because it was deemed easier to keep the populace under some form of control... But, at the same time, I simply cannot believe that more people are not working this out, because there is a lot of information in the public domain and so many people are seeing Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAPs (UFOs and orbs). The real issue is those who refuse to believe that a structured entity that looks like a spacecraft is a lifeform. Then there a few UAPs that can change shape in a blink of an eye. I personally think it is a matter of education because it seems that we have discovered a sea creature, the Mimic Octopus that can shapeshift as and when it wants. Once we get this principle, we can be very confident that the original anomalist Charles Fort was right about diversity in the Universe. The planet is swarming with UAPs right now and if you look in the archives, I have been fairly certain there are attempts to slowly acclimatise the general public to the notion of alien life, see Best of the Blog The Search For Extraterrestrial Life. My opinion has been the authorities need to get real and start talking about shadow life and a shadow biosphere on Earth.

Yet Another 'Rare' Atmospheric Phenomena - The Blue Flash

BLUE FLASH: We've all heard of the green flash, the fleeting emerald light that sometimes appears just above the setting sun. Once thought to be a fable, the green flash was popularized by Jules Verne in his 1882 novel "Le Rayon Vert" (The Green Ray). Now it is generally known to be real.

But what of the even rarer blue flash? Turns out, that's real too. Peter Rosén photographed one from Stockholm, Sweden, on Feb. 29th:

"I was shooting the sunset when, suddenly, just as the sun was about to disappear behind the treetops, there was a mighty blue flash," says Rosén.

Blues flashes are formed in the same way as green flashes: a mirage magnifies tiny differences in the atmospheric refraction of red, green and blue light. Blue flashes are generally harder to see than green flashes, because blue flashes blend into the surrounding blue sky. When the air is exceptionally clear, however, the blue flash emerges.

Extraterrestrial Life Is A Censored Subject Says Famous Professor

It is not often scientists are willing to openly discuss the possibility of extraterrestrial life. According to a famous astronomy professor there is a reason why a majority of scientists avoid the subject - it is censored!

Even though the general public embraces ideas of extraterrestrial life, science is expected to shun this subject no matter how strong the evidence, albeit through a conspiracy of silence.It is an unwritten doctrine of science that extraterrestrial life could not exist in our immediate vicinity, or, that if such life did exist, it could not have a connection with Earth.

Professor N. Chandra Wickramasinghe was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on January 20, 1939.He studied astrophysics at Cambridge, where he was a student of Hoyle's. [...]

Comment: But of course.... On May 10, 1971, the noted British Astrophysicist and Astronomer, Sir Fred Hoyle (deceased) who had a close working relationship with Wickramasinghe, called a news conference and made the following, startling announcement:

“Human beings are simply pawns in a great game, being played by alien minds, which control mankind’s every move.
“These alien minds come from another universe, one with five dimensions. Their laws of chemistry and physics are completely different from ours. They have learned to shatter the TIME/SPACE barriers that restrict us.
These super-intelligent entities are so different from us that to apprehend them or to describe them in human terms, is impossible.
These entities seem to be totally free from any such physical restrictions as bodies, and they are more like pure intelligence.
They seem to have the ability to be almost anywhere in the universe in a matter of seconds.
These aliens are everywhere—in the sky, on the sea, on earth. They have been here for countless eons and they have probably controlled the evolution of Homosapiens. All of what man has built and become was accomplished because of the ‘tinkering’ of these intelligent forces.

Professor Hoyle went on to say: “The only reason that I have called this press conference is that no Government on earth would release this information. All Governments fear panic among their people and think that if people knew the truth and knew some alien intelligent force and power is controlling them, that the people would no longer listen to or obey their government.”

I read this quote at least 10 years ago but it was like water off a duck's back, because I knew nothing about the existence of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Sir Fred Hoyle like many others (some who have written science 'fiction' books...) believed that some of these entities are manipulating humanity and there is a possibilty that some of them have, but I strongly maintain that we are talking about a massive Shadow Biosphere with a wide variety of characteristics. Regardless, nowadays, the existence of 'alien' lifeforms is commonplace, but as usual, few are thinking.... I found the following just a few days ago and I was shocked after the recent furore re arsenic based life, see archives....

That is a part of Taylor Glacier, specifically the Blood Falls, located in the dry valleys of Antarctica. Apparently, a lake was covered by the glacier about 2 million years ago, trapping the microbial life inside. They have evolved independently of outside life for all that time, and were discovered due to a few leaks from under the glacier.

The water coming out is red due to iron, and is incredibly salty with almost no oxygen in it. The microbes — 17 different kinds have been found there — must use sulfur as a catalyst instead of oxygen, which has never been seen before.

It’s always surprising when an entirely alien ecosystem is found on Earth.
