Hot Plasma Explosions Inflate Saturn's Magnetic Field
NASA JPL News, 14th December 2010
A new analysis based on data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft finds a causal link between mysterious, periodic signals from Saturn's magnetic field and explosions of hot ionized gas, known as plasma, around the planet.
Scientists have found that enormous clouds of plasma periodically bloom around Saturn and move around the planet like an unbalanced load of laundry on spin cycle. The movement of this hot plasma produces a repeating signature "thump" in measurements of Saturn's rotating magnetic environment and helps to illustrate why scientists have had such a difficult time measuring the length of a day on Saturn.
"This is a breakthrough that may point us to the origin of the mysteriously changing periodicities that cloud the true rotation period of Saturn," said Pontus Brandt, the lead author on the paper and a Cassini team scientist based at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Md. "The big question now is why these explosions occur periodically." [...]
A new animation showing the linked behavior is available at http://www.nasa.gov/cassini and http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov .
The visualization shows how invisible hot plasma in Saturn's magnetosphere – the magnetic bubble around the planet -- explodes and distorts magnetic field lines in response to the pressure. Saturn's magnetosphere is not a perfect bubble because it is blown back by the force of the solar wind, which contains charged particles streaming off the sun.
The force of the solar wind stretches the magnetic field of the side of Saturn facing away from the sun into a so-called magnetotail. The collapse of the magnetotail appears to kick off a process that causes the hot plasma bursts, which in turn inflate the magnetic field in the inner magnetosphere.
Scientists are still investigating what causes Saturn's magnetotail to collapse, but there are strong indications that cold, dense plasma originally from Saturn's moon Enceladus rotates with Saturn. Centrifugal forces stretch the magnetic field until part of the tail snaps back.
The snapping back heats plasma around Saturn and the heated plasma becomes trapped in the magnetic field. It rotates around the planet in islands at the speed of about 100 kilometers per second (200,000 mph). In the same way that high and low pressure systems on Earth cause winds, the high pressures of space cause electrical currents. Currents cause magnetic field distortions. [...]
"We all know that changing rotation periods have been observed at pulsars, millions of light years from our solar system, and now we find that a similar phenomenon is observed right here at Saturn," said Tom Krimigis, principal investigator of the magnetospheric imaging instrument, also based at the Applied Physics Laboratory and the Academy of Athens, Greece. "With instruments right at the spot where it's happening, we can tell that plasma flows and complex current systems can mask the real rotation period of the central body. That's how observations in our solar system help us understand what is seen in distant astrophysical objects."
Well, it's coming up to Christmas at a time when NASA thinks that not so many are paying attention, so we tend to get some of the more interesting reports associated with the massive planetary changes in our solar system. The comparison between pulsars and Saturn, as a giant gas planet or unlit star, is quite breathtaking. The NASA Cassini Mission news version has a very good animation, which gives the impression of the plasma swinging around Saturn, as pulsating like a heart. Earth has a ring current too, yet scientists don't even know why it exists, but maybe, this is the answer.
Video: Hot Plasma Explosions Inflate Saturn's Magnetic Field
NASA Cassini Mission news , 14th December 2010
"The data show how plasma injections, electrical currents and Saturn's magnetic field -- phenomena that are invisible to the human eye -- are partners in an intricate choreography. Periodic plasma explosions form islands of pressure that rotate around Saturn. The islands of pressure "inflate" the magnetic field."
Giant Stealth Planet May Explain Rain of Comets from Solar System's Edge
Yahoo News, 4th December 2010
Our sun may have a companion that disturbs comets from the edge of the solar system — a giant planet with up to four times the mass of Jupiter, researchers suggest.
A NASA space telescope launched last year may soon detect such a stealth companion to our sun, if it actually exists, in the distant icy realm of the comet-birthing Oort cloud, which surrounds our solar system with billions of icy objects.
The potential jumbo Jupiter would likely be a world so frigid it is difficult to spot, researchers said. It could be found up to 30,000 astronomical units from the sun. One AU is the distance between the Earth and the sun, about 93 million miles (150 million km).
Most systems with stars like our sun — so-called class G stars — possess companions. Only one-third are single-star systems like our solar system.
Let's say that all the conspiracy theorists who have been talking about the return of Niburu or Planet X may be partly right. Unless NASA scientists and other astronomers, that are no doubt under secrecy oaths, start telling us truthfully what they know, then it is very difficult for outsiders to to comprehend exactly what is going on. See previous comments. This mixing up of mythology with astronomy is also interesting to observe, because this is the true origin of mythology, storytelling as a way to preserve ancient astronomical knowledge. Starry starry starry night: Star count may triple
Yahoo News, 1st December 2010
A new study suggests there are a mind-blowing 300 sextillion of them, or three times as many as scientists previously calculated. That is a 3 followed by 23 zeros. Or 3 trillion times 100 billion.
[...] When scientists previously estimated the total number of stars, they assumed that all galaxies had the same ratio of dwarf stars as the Milky Way, which is spiral-shaped. Much of our understanding of the universe is based on observations made inside our own galaxy and then extrapolated to other galaxies.
But about one-third of the galaxies in the universe are elliptical, not spiral, and van Dokkum found they aren't really made up the same way as ours.
Using the Keck telescope in Hawaii, van Dokkum and a colleague gazed into eight distant, elliptical galaxies and looked at their hard-to-differentiate light signatures. The scientists calculated that elliptical galaxies have more red dwarf stars than predicted. A lot more.
"We're seeing 10 or 20 times more stars than we expected," van Dokkum said.
Yes, our scientists are telling us that they think there are 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 or 300 sextillion stars in the Universe. So, how is it possible that life has only ever developed on Earth? How is it possible that we are alone? This is a link to a previous report:
Universe may have billions more stars
Astronomers have underestimated the number of galaxies in parts of the Universe by as much as 90 per cent, according to a study, suggesting billions of stars are yet to be recorded.

How the universe evolved from a
The Telegraph, 20th November 2010
The universe was a super-hot liquid in the moments immediately after its birth, according to the first results from an experiment to recreate the conditions of Big Bang.
Scientists working at the world's largest particle smasher – the Large Hadron Collider at CERN near Geneva, in Switzerland – have found that an exotic soup more than 10 trillion degrees Celsius in temperature was created immediately after the birth of the universe.
This sticky, gloopy substance, known as a quark-gluon plasma, behaved like
a hot liquid SUPERFLUID, according to their results.
This provided the perfect environment for the first particles and atoms to form, which later led to the stars and galaxies that surround us today.
The findings have surprised physicists as they contradict the accepted view of what happened in the immediate aftermath of the creation of the universe – that the Big Bang threw out a superheated gas that clumped together to form matter.
"In the very first instances of the universe, it was actually behaving like
a very dense liquid
SUPERFLUID," explained Dr David Evans, a particle physicist at the University of Birmingham who is the UK's lead investigator in the experiment.
"These results are telling us about the evolution of the early universe, which inevitably will have had implications for how the universe looks today.
I suppose the reason for using the incorrect term of LIQUID instead of superfluid is that 99.999% of people don't know that the visible universe is 99.999% plasma and don't know this generates various different states of matter besides solid, liquids and gases. This is old news and maybe this is the scientific community doing the same type of experiment time and time again. So, why is this result a surprise? Well, up until recently, scientists didn't even realise that space was filled with sub-atomic particles that we collectively called plasma and so cosmological/Big Bang theory did not fully take this into account. So now they have the ability to recreate the hypothetical conditions, for the mythical Big Bang, they are surprised at what the physics reveals. Whatever, this has massive inmplications for how we understand how the universe works. Hannes Alfvén, an electrical power engineer and plasma physicist, stated at the end of his 1970, Nobel Prize speech, "In the beginning was the plasma."
NASA's Fermi Telescope Finds Giant Structure in our Galaxy
NASA Science News, 9th November 2010
WASHINGTON -- NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope has unveiled a previously unseen structure centered in the Milky Way. The feature spans 50,000 light-years and may be the remnant of an eruption from a supersized black hole at the center of our galaxy.
"What we see are two gamma-ray-emitting bubbles that extend 25,000 light-years north and south of the galactic center," said Doug Finkbeiner, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Mass., who first recognized the feature. "We don't fully understand their nature or origin."
The structure spans more than half of the visible sky, from the constellation Virgo to the constellation Grus, and it may be millions of years old. A paper about the findings has been accepted for publication in The Astrophysical Journal.
This is not new news see New Scientist, 3rd June 2010 Giant glowing bubbles found around Milky Way
The hour glass structure is very common feature seen in many difference perspectives in the universe. For example, The Butterfly Nebula, The Boomerang Nebula, The Ant Nebula, The Hourglass nebula, MyCn18, the Cat's Eye Nebula and many more. NASA seem to be attention seeking at the moment. See:

Unwinding the Spirals
Thunderbolts.info, 22nd October 2010
Rather than gas and dust flung out by two stars in pirouette, these structures reveal the characteristic hourglass formation of a z-pinch. Helical structures abound in the Universe. Galaxies, planetary nebulae, hurricanes: all exhibit characteristic shapes that have been identified in past Picture of the Day articles as electrically induced formations.
The term "planetary nebula" was first applied in the early days of telescopic observation, since they appeared to be round, with a faint greenish tinge, similar to the planet Uranus, so it was assumed that they might also be gas giant planets.
Planetary nebulae are observed to come in all shapes and sizes: round, elliptical, nested cylinders, and now helical spirals. Such features are said to be the result of shock waves, or stellar winds blowing off the parent star, crashing into the slower material ahead of them.
Consensus astronomy sees planetary nebulae as the final stage of senescent stars when they drive off their outer atmospheric layers because of increased internal radiation pressure. It has been suggested that stars like our Sun, middleweights in the galactic stable, do not undergo supernova eruptions as they end their lives—no explosive demise in a blaze of glory. Instead, their gaseous envelopes drift away into space.
The only way that you can explain the serious impact of Space Weather is to realise that the bombardment of Earth is highly electrical. The Electric Universe theorists have been shunned by cosmologists but quite frankly, the work of plasma physicists has to be seriously considered, as we can find answers to some of the most important questions that explain our true reality. As the bombardment of Earth is still accelerating, we need to realise that humans are being slowly electrified too.
Neutron Stars Are Doomed if Vacuum Energy Goes Wild
Space.com, 20th October 2010
A mind-bogglingly huge buildup of "vacuum energy," which would occur in just milliseconds, could lead the stellar remnants known as neutron stars to instantly collapse or explode, scientists now suggest.
What is often thought of as the empty vacuum of space is actually filled with ghostly energy and virtual particles wavering in and out of existence, a bizarre prediction of quantum theory that numerous experiments have proven true.
This "vacuum energy," as scientists call it, is usually thought of as extremely weak at best. But theoretical physicists in Brazil suggest that the immensely powerful gravitational fields of neutron stars could "awaken the vacuum," causing its energy to build up exponentially very quickly.
It seems that Earth's bombardment from deep space by magnetars has jolted a few scientists enough to consider that space is not actually empty and that the so called vacuum (zero-point field, aether etc), could be the power source for these humongous intergalactic blasts. Since there are a smorgasbord of cosmological theories, it's interesting that they have highlighted scalar fields that are purely informational. Despite the conjecture, it's still very interesting that scientists are starting to rethink what is going on, suggesting theories that are little bit more sophisticated, than the current idea of a wound up magnetic field inside the remains of a burnt out star.
The Milky Way Might Be Square
Universe Today, 14th October 2010
...a group of astronomers from Brazil. The Milky Way might be square. Not like a box, but, in places, the spiral arms are straight rather than curved, giving the Milky Way a distinctly square look. And our solar system sits right on one the straightest parts of an outer arm. It really IS hip to be square.
The map of the Milky Way has been redrawn several times since the first attempts in the 1950's using radio telescopes to trace out the spiral arms of our home galaxy. However, the concept of our galaxy having square-ish arms is not so farfetched: we know of the Pinwheel Galaxy, above, that has areas of straight and squared off arms, and a 2008 study using the Very Long Baseline Array found that instead of arms neatly circling the galactic center, the stars mapped traced a more elliptical orbit. But most of the maps of the Milky Way have assumed that the material in our galaxy orbits the center in a circular fashion, so having arms stars that don't follow this path come as somewhat of a surprise.
Maybe that should read octahedronal? If you read my book, you will see that scientists have already worked out that the galaxies in superclusters are lined up in an octahedron (diamond) lattice and this is a fractal pattern of an energetic signature, that replicates down and can even be found at the level of human DNA. When I wrote my book, there was only a theoretical understanding of energetic diamonds at the level of human DNA, but now there is more convincing observational proof.
Mysterious Ribbon at Edge of Solar System is Changing
Universe Today, 30th September 2010
A year ago, researchers from the IBEX mission – NASA's Interstellar Boundary Explorer – announced the discovery of an unexpected bright band or ribbon of surprisingly high energy emissions at the boundary between our solar system and interstellar space.
Now, after a year of observations, scientists have seen vast changes, including an unusual knot in the ribbon which appears to have ‘untied.' Changes in the ribbon — a ‘disturbance in the force,' so to speak, along with a shrunken heliosphere, may be allowing galactic cosmic rays to leak into our solar system.
We didn't understand where the ribbon came from in the first place, said David McComas, IBEX principal investigator, during a press briefing. It's even more confounding now, to know the structure can change on incredibly short timescales.
Researchers believe the ribbon forms from the interactions between interstellar space and the heliosphere, the protective bubble in which the Earth and other planets reside. The heliosphere is inflated by the solar wind, and acts as a protective shield from galactic cosmic rays that would otherwise bombard planets and perhaps prohibit life.
This feature must be completely freaking out these scientists, but at least it was predicted and I say Fulcanelli got this right... Even if this is just an 'artefact' of the boundary between our solar system and the Galactic Cloud that is pressing on the heliosphere, we know for a fact that this ribbon or "snake" (Birkeland Current in grown up Electric Universe language) is shrinking our solar system and reducing our protection against galactic and cosmic radiation from the rest of the universe. There can be no doubt, this 'ribbon' may cause serious evolutionary changes for all life on this planet.

Video: IBEX Finds Surprising Changes at Solar Boundary
NASA Science News, 30th September 2010
"One of the clear features visible in the IBEX maps is an apparent knot in the ribbon. Scientists were anxious to see how this structure would change with time. The second map showed that the knot in the ribbon somehow spread out. It is as if the knot in the ribbon was literally untangled over only 6 months!"
Comment: It's almost like NASA scientists really hate to reveal that we live in an Electromagnetic Universe, as the "knot" is clearly revealed here as a helical spiral, a common signature of the flow of charged particles in a strong magnetic field, which then puts into doubt the fact that this feature is supposed to be made up of "neutral" atoms of hydrogen. So we read:
"If you keep twisting a straight elastic string, at some moment it starts kinking in a wild way. Something similar occurs when one increases the electrical current flowing in a magnetized plasma doughnut: it takes on a wild helical shape, which spoils its performance. This phenomenon concerns scientists exploring fusion power, who use powerful magnetic fields to confine plasma during their experiments. [...]
This is basic plasma physics, nothing extraordinary at all...
Moreover, the helical state appears to be the preferred one at high current and is spontaneously chosen, or self-organized, by the plasma."
Upping the power triggers an ordered helical plasma,
Physorg.com, 2nd November 2009
"For plasmas immersed in strong magnetic fields, electric currents tend to flow along the magnetic field lines, which act like wires guiding the current. The field-aligned current creates its own magnetic field, and, when added to the original magnetic field, results in a twisted or helical magnetic field."

Quasars Hint That the Laws of Nature Change Over Time
Daily Galaxy, 8th September 2010
Precise measurements on the light from distant quasars suggest that the value of the fine-structure constant may have changed over the history of the universe. If the quasar results are eventually confirmed, our concepts of space and time are sure to change our fundamental understanding of the universe.
The fine-structure constant, or alpha, is the coupling constant for the electromagnetic force. If alpha were just 4% bigger or smaller than it is, stars wouldn't be able to make carbon and oxygen, which would have made it impossible for life as we know it in our universe to exist.
A new study show that alpha seems to have varied a tiny bit in different directions of the universe billions of years ago, being slightly smaller in the northern hemisphere and slightly larger in the southern hemisphere. One intriguing implication is that the fine-structure constant is continuously varying in space, and seems fine-tuned for life in our neighborhood of the universe
Interesting... This could be considered as supportive of the metaphysical belief that spacetime can be considered as a fractal of 64 energy states and in our world, that means there is an ebb and flow of energy states at every point in space.
Hubble Spies an Amazing Cosmic Spiral
Universe Today, 7th September 2010
The Hubble Space Telescope's Advanced Camera for Surveys has captured a remarkable image of a spiral in space. No, not a spiral galaxy, (and not another Norway Spiral!) but the formation of an unusual pre-planetary nebula in one of the most perfect geometrical spirals ever seen. The nebula, called IRAS 23166+1655, is forming around the star LL Pegasi (also known as AFGL 3068) in the constellation of Pegasus.
The image shows what appears to be a thin spiral pattern of amazing precision winding around the star, which is itself hidden behind thick dust. Mark Morris from UCLA and an international team of astronomers say that material forming the spiral is moving outwards at a speed of about 50,000 km/hour and by combining this speed with the distance between layers, they calculate that the shells are each separated by about 800 years.
This is an interesting example of a galactic sized spiral plasma formation. It's not a logrithmic spiral and it's not concentric shells that form in a crystalline plasma but something inbetween and dependent on the electric and magnetic properties of the plasma, but it's described here as a thin spiral pattern. Plasma physicists have proven that plasma will scale up a trillion fold by comparing the behaviour plasma in the laboratory and we can do our own comparisons, as we are now regularly seeing plasma formations in our atmosphere and skies that can be compared to galactic sized formations. Yes, this article maybe going viral, but how many are explaining the significance in terms of a plasma, which fills 99.999% of the visible universe and the fact that our atmosphere is becoming an increasing charged plasma? NASA's Magnetospheric Mission Passes Major Milestone
PhysOrg.com, 6th September 2010
The universe is still an arcane place that scientists know very little about, but a new NASA Solar Terrestrial Probe mission is going to shed light on one especially mysterious event called magnetic reconnection.
It occurs when magnetic lines of force cross, cancel, and reconnect releasing magnetic energy in the form of heat and charged-particle kinetic energy.[...]
In 2014, NASA is scheduled to launch a satellite that will greatly increase our understanding of this phenomenon when it launches the Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) mission, a suite of four identical spacecraft that will study magnetic reconnection in the best possible laboratory - the Earth's magnetosphere. The spacecraft will obtain measurements necessary to test prevailing theories as to how reconnection is enabled and how it progresses. [...]
MMS will carry identical suites of plasma analyzers, energetic particle detectors, magnetometers, and electric field instruments as well as a device to prevent spacecraft charging from interfering with the highly sensitive measurements required in and around the diffusion regions.
Scientists and engineers at Goddard have designed and will build one of the instruments - the Fast Plasma Instrument, which will measure the ion and electron distributions and the electric and magnetic fields with unprecedentedly high millisecond time resolution and accuracy.
This is a nice confession that the cosmology of yesteryear where we are supposed to inhabit a gravity dominated Universe, is completely irrelevant to our technological societies that are under threat from the electromagnetic properties of matter in the form of charged sub-atomic particles, as we experience a deluge of Space Weather.
"The Universe Exists Because of Spontaneous Creation" -Stephen Hawking
Daily Galaxy, 3rd September 2010
In "The Grand Design," Stephen Hawking and Caltech physicist Leonard Modinow suggest that physics and metaphysics (and religion) are merging.
The grand design which we have taken for granted since Newton is more complex than anything we ever dreamed of. Models of the universe are changing radically. Many physicists doubt the reality of a Big Bang. We live in a world in which many physicists have come to believe there are not merely three dimensions plus time, but 10, or possibly 11 -a new world view world that encompasses that includes black holes, supermassive black holes, galaxy-mass black holes, dark matter, dark energy , string theory, M-theory, alternate pasts and alternate futures.
After reading this short article, I might actually think about reading the book, after being repulsed by the stupid headline grabbing articles about whether Hawking had settled the issue of the existence of God.
University of Colardo students crash land a NASA satellite
Geek.com, 2nd September 2010
Talk about a dream project: a group of Colorado University students were hand-picked by NASA to help them on a space mission. What was that mission? To crash the hurtling, flaming debris of an out-of-control space aircraft into the Atlantic Ocean.
The satellite was one of NASA's own and known as ICESat, or Ice, Cloud and Land Elevation Satellite. For the past seven years, it had been blooping happily above the skin of the Earth, gathering data on ice sheets that could be fed into climate change models. But then, as often happens, it just stopped working and became another bit of space junk, twinkling in the sky above.
Failing to restart the satellite, NASA scientists decided to outsource the task of crashing it into the ocean to some plucky Colorado University students, who competed on their off hours over the course of many long nights and holidays to earn the job.
Well, NASA and the other space agencies have plenty of knowledge and experience about de-orbiting satellites (including space stations for that matter) that have been killed off by space weather. Hence, they probably thought it would make a nice exercise for students, who of course, would be supervised.
FIREBALL ON JUPITER:
Spaceweather.com, 23rd August 2010
On August 20th at 18:22 UT, two
amateur astronomers in Japan independently recorded an apparent
impact on Jupiter. Masayuki Tachikawa of Kumamoto city was
first to report the event. His movie
of the fireball
shows the fireball scintillating (twinkling)
along with other features on the planet -- persuasive evidence
that this is a genuine event on Jupiter. Soon after Tachikawa
made his report, Tokyo amateur astronomer Aoki Kazuo realized
that he had recorded the fireball, too:
The ~800 km separation of the two observers
rules out an event near Earth and reinforces the association
of the fireball with Jupiter. The most likely explanation:
A small comet or asteroid hit the giant planet.
This is the third time in only 13 months that
amateur astronomers have detected signs of impact on Jupiter.
OK, there is an alternative version that explains the apparent rush of fireballs or comets hitting Jupiter. Some have suggested that we are seeing eruptions and this video certainly strengthens this view. The issue now, is what is causing the eruptions? Is it a sign of the planetary change and Jupiter's core heating up?
researchers make magnetic fields breakthrough
Dundee University, 20th August 2010
Researchers at the University of Dundee have made a breakthrough in the study of magnetic fields, which enhances
our understanding of how stars, including the Sun, work.
The team from the Magnetohydrodynamics research group in the School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics
used state-of-the-art computer simulations of evolving plasmas in the Sun's atmosphere.
By following how the magnetic field and the plasma interact, they have uncovered new rules that govern what
evolutions are possible. Knowing the b
asic rules behind the apparently complex solar atmosphere gives the team
hope of predicting how it will behave.
Due to the ferocity of Space Weather, scientists have been forced to study the Sun-Earth
connection which is essentially electromagnetic. To try and mitigate the damage to our satellites, radio
communications systems and power grids, solar scientists have been galvanised into studying plasma physics. This
is because the Sun is a huge ball of plasma, that exhibits how plasma is influenced by electric currents and magnetic
and electric fields, with evidence of the influence of sound and geometry also controlling it's behaviour.
Magnetic mega-star discovery challenges black hole theory
A neutron star with a mighty magnetic field has thrown down the gauntlet to theories about stellar evolution and the birth of black holes, astronomers said today.
Telegraph, 18th August 2010
The "magnetar" lies in a cluster of stars known as Westerlund 1, located 16,000 light years away in the constellation of Ara, the Altar. Westerlund 1, discovered in 1961 by a Swedish astronomer, is a favoured observation site in stellar physics. It is one of the biggest cluster of superstars in the Milky Way, comprising hundreds of very massive stars, some shining with a brilliance of almost a million Suns and some two thousand times the Sun's diameter. The cluster is also, by the standards of the Universe, very young. The stars were all born from a single event just three and a half to five million years ago.
Within Westerlund 1 is the remains of one of galaxy's few magnetars - a particular kind of neutron star, formed from the explosion of a supernova, that can exert a magnetic field a million, billion times strong than Earth's.
The Westerlund star which eventually became the magnetar must have been at least 40 times the mass of the Sun, according to the study, which appears in the research journal Astronomy and Astrophysics. If so, intriguing questions are raised.
Now, the mainstream media are featuring Magnetars, that's good news as the planet is being blasted by massive blast of magnetic energy on a regular basis. Note the challenge to the scientific assumptions and speculation about black holes, we may be starting to see a paradigm shift coming from many quarters in the physics and astronomical community, overturning prevailing beliefs. Astronauts "Become as Weak as 80-Year-Olds"
Telegraph, 18th August 2010
Astronauts who spend months in space become as physically weak as 80-year-olds, a study has found.
Researchers in the US made the discovery after testing muscle tissue taken from crew members on the International
Space Station (ISS). The calf biopsy samples revealed that after six months in orbit the physical work capacity of
astronauts fell by 40 per cent. This was equivalent to the muscles of an astronaut aged 30 to 50 wasting away to the
level of an average 80-year-old.
Another reason why astronomer royal Martin Rees is talking about space exploration and
the need to send robots instead of humans.... According to old esoteric sources, humans will never get off this
planet until we understand some fundamental properties of the aether and how to manipulate spacetime, ie raise our
vibration to 'teleport' within spacetime, as depicted in the sci-fi TV series Star Trek.
Human race 'must colonise space or face extinction', warns
Daily Mail, 9th August 2010
Stephen Hawking has warned that unless the human race colonises space within the next two centuries it will
The famous astrophysicist says that our only chance for long-term survival is to move away from Earth and begin to
inhabit new planets. In an interview with website Big Think, Hawking said he was an ‘optimist' but the next few
hundred years had to be negotiated carefully if the human race is to survive.
He said: 'I see great danger for the human race. There have been a number of times in the past when survival has
been a question of touch and go. The Cuban missile crisis in 1963 is one of these.
‘The frequency of such occasions is likely to increase in the future. We shall need great care and judgment to
negotiate them all successfully.'
‘But I am an optimist. If we can avoid disaster for the next two centuries our species should be safe as we spread
Earlier this year, Hawking warned that humans should be wary about trying to make contact with other alien lifeforms
in space as we could not be sure that they would be friendly.
‘If we are the only intelligent beings in the galaxy we should make sure we survive and continue.'
Well, well, well, it looks like Hawking is channelling James McCanney
. Who is James
McCanney? Well, he can be described as one of NASA's greatest enemies because of his indepth understanding of
how the Universe works. In my opinion, McCanney's greatest quote is: "NASA couldn't put a mouse into space". I
laugh every time I think of that phrase. Anyway, this article is a load of wishful thinking. Space is highly radioactive
and getting worse due to Space Weather, hence the following announcement by Lord Rees, the Queen's astronomer,
"Astronomer Royal Martin Rees, Professor of Cosmology and Astrophysics at Cambridge University, believes that
planets resembling Earth may be discovered in the next two to three years - although it may take a further 20 years
before we are able to capture an image of them. Rees also believes that the need for manned space exploration is
rapidly diminishing in the face of new technologies and advances in robotics, an that explorers walking on the
surface of planets like Mars in the future are likely to be adventurers of the sort who conquered Everest, rather than
astronauts on state-backed missions of the type NASA undertake."
"The Era of Robotic Space Exploration is Here": World-leading
Quite frankly, we are not the most intelligent beings in the Universe and the thought of stupid, warlike, greedy and
selfish people being the best that the Universe can come up with, is completely shocking to me.

Three specks of matter captured by the NASA spacecraft Stardust may be stardust that has just entered our solar system. "They have all the hallmarks of interstellar dust," said Andrew Westphal of the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Westphal reported the first speck in March, and he described the second and third on Friday at a meeting of the Meteoritical Society in Manhattan. Each speck is about one-25,000th of an inch across.
The third is particularly intriguing. It is rich in carbon, raising the possibility that it is full of the molecules that could serve as the building blocks for life.
According to the European Space Agency, stardust has been entering our solar system since the 1990s and our solar system was supposed to be flooded with this interstellar star dust by 2012, so this story of an army of dusters looking for these rare specks from a small sample just seems odd to me. Anyway, is this the predicted adamantine particles that the metaphysical community have been told to expect and why are scientists so anxious to identify these particles?
Quite frankly, if metaphysical sources and scientists are both correct, then we can believe that we have entered a new period of renewal and evolutionary change because this stardust has to be highly charged to cross the plasma sheath called the heliosphere around our solar system and therefore we can expect this highly charged plasma to be life giving.
Model describes universe with no big bang, no beginning, and no end
PhysOrg.com, 29th July 2010
By suggesting that mass, time, and length can be converted into one another as the universe evolves, Wun-Yi Shu has proposed a new class of cosmological models that may fit observations of the universe better than the current big bang model. What this means specifically is that the new models might explain the increasing acceleration of the universe without relying on a cosmological constant such as dark energy, as well as solve or eliminate other cosmological dilemmas such as the flatness problem and the horizon problem.
Shu, an associate professor at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, explains in a study posted at arXiv.org that the new models emerge from a new perspective of some of the most basic entities: time, space, mass, and length. In his proposal, time and space can be converted into one another, with a varying speed of light as the conversion factor. Mass and length are also interchangeable, with the conversion factor depending on both a varying gravitational constant and a varying speed of light (G/c2). Basically, as the universe expands, time is converted into space, and mass is converted into length. As the universe contracts, the opposite occurs.
We view the speed of light as simply a conversion factor between time and space in spacetime, Shu writes. It is simply one of the properties of the spacetime geometry. Since the universe is expanding, we speculate that the conversion factor somehow varies in accordance with the evolution of the universe, hence the speed of light varies with cosmic time.
As Shu writes in his paper, the newly proposed models have four distinguishing features:
• The speed of light and the gravitational constant are not constant, but vary with the evolution of the universe.
• Time has no beginning and no end; i.e., there is neither a big bang nor a big crunch singularity.
• The spatial section of the universe is a 3-sphere [a higher-dimensional analogue of a sphere], ruling out the possibility of a flat or hyperboloid geometry.
• The universe experiences phases of both acceleration and deceleration.
It's good to see the reporting of more and more theories that do away with the Big Bang and all the inherent problems that idea has generated. The variation of spacetime being related to evolution of the universe seems to fit in with the recent understanding of the universe being a complex dynamic system that has a tendency towards critical change, this is especially useful to appreciate, as we are facing a dynamic change in our corner of the universe right now.
Revised theory of gravity doesn't predict a Big Bang
PhysOrg.com, 12th July 2010
The Big Bang theory has formed the basis of our understanding of the universe's origins since it was first proposed in 1927 by Georges Lemaitre. And for good reason: the theory is supported by scientists' latest observations and experiments, and is based on Einstein's widely accepted theory of general relativity.
But scientists are always on the lookout for any evidence that might suggest an alternative to the Big Bang.
The latest in this area of research comes from astrophysicists Maximo Banados and Pedro Ferreira, who have resurrected a theory of gravity from the early 20th century and discovered that a modified version of the theory may hold some surprises.
There is enough evidence now to suggest that there is a shift in scientific opinion taking place and that Big Bang theory is being abandoned probably for what hs been termed 'The Big Bounce'. Next, scientists will have to completely back away from the current ridiculous understanding of black holes, so even though we now have massive blasts in space emitting x-rays and gamma rays, this is being explained as black holes that formerly were supposed to swallowed everything up, as the evidence for black holes is still paltry, even for our own galactic centre. There have been rebels and heretics fighting hard within the establishment for decades now, and so it seems that common sense is now prevailing.
Brian Greene: Putting emotion back into science
New Scientist, 16th June 2010
Modern cosmology has synthesized Einstein's theories of relativity and the standard model of particle physics to give us an elegant description of the universe and its history - which some cynically describe as a modern creation myth.
Now physicist Brian Greene has left hard data and cryptic equations behind to venture into classical mythology, reimagining the Greek story of Icarus, the boy who flew too close to the sun.
In 2008, Greene came out with an illustrated book version of Icarus at the Edge of Time (watch New Scientist's video interview with Greene about the book).
Last week, the full multimedia musical premiered at the third annual World Science Festival in New York. The Festival itself is a project created by Greene and his wife that seeks to combine science and culture.
I have to say this is pure brilliance in terms of selling old ideas in a new way. I was actually drawn by the headline but the marketing concept is even better, but in reality the concept of black holes is completely and utterly stupid. Enough people are seeing the light, especially the light coming out of so-called black holes that are represent X-ray and gamma emissions that have been called Hawking radiation, something else that was made up quickly when it was obvious the science was wrong. For the doubters, scientists have recently admitted the black hole at the centre of our own galaxy is 'feeble', but I would say virtually non-existent, so scientists need to understand that the visible universe is 99.999% plasma and then re-think.
Dark energy may not exist in space, scientists claim
Dark matter and energy, the mysterious forces thought to make up 96 per cent of the universe, may not exist according to a groundbreaking study.
The Telegraph, 15th June 2010
The universe as we know it – formed of recognisable components such as planets, stars, asteroids and gas - accounts for just four per cent of the cosmos, according to the decades old Standard Model.
The rest is thought to be made up of mysterious dark matter and dark energy. This permeates space and powers the expansion of the universe.
But physicists at Durham University now claim the calculations on which the Standard Model is based could be fatally flawed.
This raises the possibility that the dark side of the cosmos does not exist, which in turn could mean that the universe is expanding less quickly than previously thought.
When the measurements were first taken in 2001 the size of the ripples in the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation led scientists to conclude that the cosmos is made up of four percent "normal" matter, 22 percent "dark" or invisible matter and 74 percent "dark" energy.
I am sure that others have made similar criticisms in the past and were ignored... I am wondering whether the word has got out that the CMB measurement was a fraud and so a few are taking the opportunity to steer the science into a new direction... I like the headline at PhysOrg.com:
Durham astronomers' doubts about the 'dark side'
The end of the world as we know it
Forget man-made threats – the catalyst for the apocalypse will come from outer space, warns astronomer Chris Impey
The Independent, 14th June 2010
Apocalyptic thought has a tradition that dates to the Persian prophet Zoroaster in the 14th century BC. Recently, anxiety
has grown over the prediction of the end of the world in the Mayan calendar.
It's true that the Mayan odometer will hit zeros on 21 December 2012, as it reaches the end of a 394-year cycle called a
baktun. But this baktun is part of a larger 8,000-year cycle called a pictun, and there's no evidence that anything
astronomically untoward will happen as the current baktun slides into the next. However, that hasn't stopped the feverish
speculating that sells books and cinema tickets.
Well, the oil spill has certainly frightened a lot of people, but generally speaking, the threat
from space is more likely and especially now as we have a strong magnetic cloud of dusty plasma seeping into our solar
system with effects that we don't fully understand mixed in with extreme Space Weather. The Mayan Elders are predicting
three days of darkness, it took me a while to fully understand this, but now I have realised that this scenario is quite
Has Jupiter sent cosmology down a false trail?
New Scientist, 11th June 2010
It's supposed to be the "gold standard" of evidence supporting the standard model of cosmology – including dark matter, dark energy and the exponential expansion after the big bang known as inflation.
But could it be wrong?
Might misleading measurements by NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) have been leading us towards the wrong theory of cosmology? One astrophysicist thinks so, and he says the planet Jupiter is to blame – though others insist that there is nothing amiss.
WMAP detects photons of the cosmic microwave background, the "echo" of the big bang, and these measurements are used to map the temperature of the sky. Ripples in the map are used to calculate a spectrum that produces a near-perfect fit to the standard model of cosmology.
Since 2007, Tom Shanks at the University of Durham, UK, who is a critic of the standard model, has been tracking a discrepancy between measurements from WMAP and X-ray measurements of some of the same star clusters made by ground-based telescopes. He initially assumed that the problem was with measurements from the ground and that the WMAP data was "pristine".
So scientists don't want to admit that they might have completely got the science wrong behind the CMB... well ,we already know that the experiment that claimed to have discovered the blackbody spectrum from the Big Bang has been proved to be fraudulent
but the Nobel Prize for this effort has not been retracted, see 'Ancient light' takes Nobel Prize
. Scientists will try and hang on for a few more decades even though insiders know the truth, a few more physicists will die and then the science willl move on. Sorry folks, that seems to be how it works. I don't want to disillusion Shanks, but the science comes second to maintaining a facade. I expect to see more of these types of reports in the future, but no change in dogma. Remember, a lot of cosmology is religion and metaphysics dressed up as science, if you are not sure, check out the opinion of the critics. Even some of the faithful complain about the hermetic jargon being specifically designed to keep most people awe-struck but not enlightened, but some insiders realise that this area of the scientific community is on a merry-go-round.
Betelgeuse: The incredible shrinking star?
New Scientist, 10th June 2010
Pinned prominently on Orion's shoulder, the bright red star Betelgeuse hardly seems like a wallflower. But a new study suggests the giant star has been shrinking for more than a decade.
Betelgeuse is nearing the end of its life as a red supergiant. The bright, bloated star is 15 to 20 times more massive than the sun. If it were placed at the centre of the solar system, the star would extend out to the orbit of Jupiter.
But the star's reach seems to be waning. New observations indicate the giant star has shrunk by more than 15 per cent since 1993. This could be a sign of a long-term oscillation in its size or the star's first death knells. Or it may just be an artefact of the star's bumpy surface, which may appear to change in size as the star rotates.
I suppose scientists are worrying about whether this massive star is about to nova, as if there are not enough Space Weather threats to consider already...
Gamma Gamma Hey
Thunderbolts.info, 10th June 2010
Gamma ray frequency electromagnetic radiation has been detected in terrestrial lightning strokes.
According to a recent press release, scientists have been confronted with yet another surprising find: 17 gamma ray flashes have been detected in lightning from terrestrial thunderstorms. As the team analyzing data from the satellite noted, the gamma ray frequency "could have been produced only by the decay of energetic positrons, the antimatter equivalent of electrons."
As Karl Popper once observed, though: "No matter how many instances of white swans we may have observed, this does not justify the conclusion that all swans are white."
This report is interesting for a few reasons, but the mention of Karl Popper and the inference of a black swan is very meaningful as Earth transitions into a new high energy plasma environment. The discussion of gamma rays in lightning storms is very topical, as this week we have found out that some pilots believe that AF447 was struck down by Space Weather, presumably "Killer Electrons" from the outer Van Allen Belts accelerated by a shock wave from some solar or cosmic blast finding their way into Earth's upper atmosphere (in the SAA where shielding is very weak) and randomly hitting a plane's electronics. Those same "Killer Electrons" could also theoretically trigger gamma ray emmissions in our atmosphere. Since physics of 'energetic positrons' being discussed here is purely a theoretical label for the signature of energy being seen, the EU theorists are proposing a different mechanism and since our scientists are witnessing extreme geomagnetic conditions on Earth, unless scientists can reproduce the same effects in a cloud chamber we don't have to believe a string of theoretical assumptions, we can just look at what is happening around Earth and come up with some best fit analysis.
Actually, if you're a comet, it *is* easy being green
Discover Magazine, 9th June 2010
[...] And that brings us to the comet's verdant glow. That green color is real, and not just from the way the picture was made! And it's the same reason a neon sign glows. When you have an ionized atom or molecule (or just an excited one, with an electron bumped into a higher energy state so that it can fall back down), the electron can recombine with its parent. When it does, it gives off light. The color of the light depends very strongly on the type of atom or molecule. Excited hydrogen glows red, for example, which is why so many gas clouds in deep space glow that color.
In a comet, the molecule cyanogen (CN)2 and diatomic carbon (C2) both glow characteristically green, which is why some comets, like McNaught, are green. And I wouldn't blame you if you thought that these comets must be mostly made of those two molecules since the comet is so green. But, like everything in science, there's more going on…
Astronomers are getting excited about Comet McNaught, swinging it's way past Earth. In 2007, Comet McNaught, was the Great Comet of 2007 and the brightest comet for the last 40 years. There are more pictures at Spaceweather.com Comet McNaught
. Here, astronomer Phil Plait is forced to give a plasma explanation for why the comet appears green, which is due to the ionization of cyanogen (CN)2 and diatomic carbon (C2) but he does not mention that the coma is actually a sheath or double layer around the comet that acts to electrically isolate it from the rest of the solar system. Here we are seeing that the coma is elctrically stressed enough to glow. .

Amateur astronomers Anthony Wesley of Australia and Christopher Go of the Philippines have independently observed an impact event on Jupiter. The strike occurred at 20:31 UT on June 3rd and produced a bright flash of light in the giant planet's cloudtops:
Well, it is cetainly getting lively in our solar system and Jupiter because of it's size is atrracting more objects. I am starting to think that amateurs are seeing these impacts because they are looking, whereas NASA et al. may not want to draw too much attention to the traffic these days. Giant glowing bubbles found around Milky Way
New Scientist, 3rd June 2010
IS THE Milky Way blowing giant bubbles? A pair of gamma ray bubbles, shaped like an hourglass, seem to be spewing from the black hole we think lies at the centre of our galaxy. That is according to the latest maps from the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope. Its large area telescope has been scanning the whole sky every three hours since June 2008.
The source of the bubbles is a mystery but it seems unlikely that dark matter is responsible. This was what Douglas Finkbeiner of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, first suspected when he looked at the maps with his colleagues last year (arxiv.org/abs/0910.4583).
But a new analysis with more Fermi data suggests that the gamma radiation traces out a pair of distinct bubbles that span some 65,000 light years from end to end - towering above the 2000-light-year-thick disc of the galaxy (see image).
Have some of these scientists never heard of plasma that fills 99.999% of the visible universe? The hourglass is seen all over the universe here is a Nebula Gallery
with a few good examples. Dark matter is only theoretical, if cosmologists were interested in real facts they would consult with plasma physicists. What's more, we know the so-called black hole at the centre of our galaxy is 'feeble', so it's a waste of time trying to blame the sign of outward expansion on a theoretical construct that originally was supposed to swallow everything up.... Anyway, I am completely intrigued and as soon as the Electric Universe theorists come across this report, I am sure there will be a swift response.
Excerpts From The Electric Universe
Thunderbolts.info, 29th May 2010
In this series we have contrasted the dirty snowball model of comets to the plasma discharge model, questioned how gravity alone could retain huge comas, explored surface features not expected of a slushball, discovered that electrical stresses are the most likely cause of cometary fragmentation, and observed the impacts of comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 with Jupiter and the Deep Impact probe into comet Tempel 1. Together this outstanding body of observations must bring into question the orthodox model of comets as it serves to demonstrate the predictive power of Electric Universe theory.
Actually, the more you know about plasma, the harder it is to comprehend why cosmologists wish to adhere to completely outdated ideas of gravity ruling the universe. This series outlines why NASA et al. have been continually embarrassed by the latest discoveries and close-up encounters with asteroids and comets, especially as they have tried hard to maintain the belief that comets are harmless snowballs in space. That's so that people continue to believe that the cosmos is a benign environment, which is not always the case. Here are the links for other in the series:

Nearby black hole is feeble and unpredictable
Eureka Alert, 25th May 2010
For over 10 years, NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory has repeatedly observed the Andromeda Galaxy for a combined total of nearly one million seconds. This unique data set has given astronomers an unprecedented view of the nearest supermassive black hole outside our own Galaxy.
Astronomers think that most galaxies - including the Milky Way - contain giant black holes at their cores that are millions of times more massive than the Sun. At a distance of just under 3 million light years from Earth, Andromeda (also known as M31) is relatively close and provides an opportunity to study its black hole in great detail.
Just like the one in the center of the Milky Way, the black hole in Andromeda is surprisingly quiet. In fact, Andromeda's black hole, known as M31*, is ten to one hundred thousand times fainter in X-ray light that astronomers might expect given the reservoir of gas around it.
"The black holes in both Andromeda and the Milky Way are incredibly feeble,"
said Zhiyuan Li of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) in Cambridge, Mass. "These two 'anti-quasars' provide special laboratories for us to study some of the dimmest type of accretion even seen onto a supermassive black hole."
The decade-long study by Chandra reveals that M31* was in a very dim, or quiet, state before 2006. However, on January 6, 2006, the black hole became more than a hundred times brighter, suggesting an outburst of X-rays. This was the first time such an event had been seen from a supermassive black hole in the nearby, local universe.
So, how can so-called 'black holes', that theoretically were supposed to swallowed everything up around them, can now be seen all over universe emitting x-rays and gamma rays? Yet, Andromeda M31, is supposed to have 4 X-ray sources, how does that work then within the theoretical constraints of conventional cosmology? Amazingly, we have got some truth here about our own Milky Way's 'black hole' that is pronounced as a terrible disappointment, as it is 'incredibly feeble', I think it would be fairer to say virtually invisible. Yes, the real action in the centre of our galaxy, is a region of millions of stars called Sagittarius A*, which hosts a massive supergiant Red Star called IRS7 that seems to be a focus of some real action, NOT the feeble virtually invisible black hole. By the way, note the image here, where is the blackness of the hole! LOL! This is an old joke: "Black holes are where God divided by zero." – Comedian Steven Wright
Engineers Diagnosing Voyager 2 Data System -- Update
NASA JPL/Caltech News, 24th May 2010
Engineers successfully reset a computer onboard Voyager 2 that caused an unexpected data pattern shift, and the spacecraft resumed sending properly formatted science data back to Earth on Sunday, May 23. Mission managers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., had been operating the spacecraft in engineering mode since May 6. They took this action as they traced the source of the pattern shift to the flip of a single bit in the flight data system computer that packages data to transmit back to Earth. In the next week, engineers will be checking the science data with Voyager team scientists to make sure instruments onboard the spacecraft are processing data correctly.
Voyager 2 is fixed! All the talk of aliens sending back messages was complete and utter rubbish, see previous comment.
The IBEX Ribbon: Are We in for a New Era in the Sun's Voyage Through the Galaxy?
Science Daily, 21st May 2010
Scientists from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Los Alamos National Laboratory,
Southwest Research Institute, and Boston University suggest that the ribbon of enhanced emissions of energetic neutral
atoms, discovered last year by the NASA Small Explorer satellite IBEX, could be explained by a geometric effect coming
up because of the approach of the Sun to the boundary between the Local Cloud of interstellar gas and another cloud of a
very hot gas called the Local Bubble. If this hypothesis is correct, IBEX is catching matter from a hot neighboring
interstellar cloud, which the Sun might enter in a hundred years.
Is the Sun going to enter soon a million-degree galactic cloud of interstellar gas?
These days, I can hardly believe what is coming out of the astronomical community and the
true significance. I don't know whether different groups of astronomers are using different terminology or whether there is
an effort to confuse but from what I have read, we are ALREADY in a transition zone and about to enter the Galactic
Cloud or G Cloud
that seems to be hosting some interesting features that I have already commented on. Since my
intentions have always been to point out the significance for evolutionary change, the warning at the end of this article will
be repeated here:
"This might mean that the Solar System could enter the million-degree Local Bubble cloud as early as the next century.
"Nothing unusual, the Sun frequently traverses various clouds of interstellar gas during its galactic journey," comments
Grzedzielski. Such clouds are of very low density, much lower than the best vacuum obtained in Earth labs. Once in, the
heliosphere will reform and may shrink a little, the level of cosmic radiation entering the magnetosphere may rise a
bit, but nothing more.
"Perhaps future generations will have to learn how to better harden their space hardware against stronger radiation," suggests Grzedzielski."
If you have done the research like I have, you will know that the astronomical estimate of a few hundred years or next
century is unreliable, other astronomers usually add the caveat "But maybe tomorrow!" However, metaphysical warnings
for those interested in spiritual evolution, encouraging people to sort out their energy fields now, seem like good advice.
With the increased radiation, humans are going to mutate EXACTLY as some Mayan Elders and metaphysical sources
have predicted. The obvious issue is how well people are prepared to follow the new cosmic template that will guide our
8.6 Billion Miles from Earth: The End of Voyager 2 Mission?
Daily Galaxy, 14th May 2010
Engineers have shifted NASA's Voyager 2 spacecraft into a mode that transmits only spacecraft health and status data while they diagnose an unexpected change in the pattern of returning data. Preliminary engineering data received on May 1 show the spacecraft is basically healthy, and that the source of the issue is the flight data system, which is responsible for formatting the data to send back to Earth. The change in the data return pattern has prevented mission managers from decoding science data.
The first changes in the return of data packets from Voyager 2, which is near the edge of our solar system, appeared on April 22. Mission team members have been working to troubleshoot and resume the regular flow of science data.
Yes, I saw all the headlines about Voyager 2 being hijacked by aliens, but I was not in the mood last week to accomodate that kind of nonsense. I note the image used here showing that Voyager 2 is facing the IBEX "ribbon" that is more likely to be part of a huge "double layer" consisting of some fierce electrical discharges separating our local solar system bubble from the rest of the galaxy. NASA have had their monies worth, but now Voyager 2 is probably getting assailed by some anomalous cosmic rays from this region, so we will see what happens next. The difference between what happened with Voyager 1 & 2 could simply be a matter of varying location conditions at different times. The link I have provided here is an article that discusses the passage of Voyager 1 & 2 through the heliopause and the IBEX ribbon. It is made very clear here, especially from some of the comments, that these IBEX scientists are making some strange claims and that mainstream cosmology cannot explain fully what is happening. NASA Finds Cause of Voyager 2 Glitch
Discovery News, 18th May 2010
"What a difference a bit makes. NASA engineers believe they have traced the cause of Voyager 2's gibberish to single flip of bit in the spacecraft's memory. "A value in a single memory location was changed from a 0 to a 1," said JPL's Veronia McGregor."
There we go, nothing to do with aliens!
Jupiter loses one of its belts

The South Equatorial Belt (SEB) has faded away leaving just the north belt (NEB) viewable in small telescopes. [...]
So here's the surprise. That bad boy south equatorial belt (SEB) has completely faded away. Point your scope at the planet any morning soon and you'll see only one obvious dark stripe, the North Equatorial Belt. Jupiter with only one belt is almost like seeing Saturn when its rings are edge-on and invisible for a time -- it just doesn't look right.

Bang goes the theory: How physicists lost touch with reality
The Independent, 10th May 2010
[...] Cosmologists in particular and physicists in general, are now faced with the stark reality that roughly 96 per cent of the universe cannot be explained with the theories at hand. All our efforts to understand the material world have illuminated only a tiny fraction of the cosmos. And there are other mysteries.
This is a strange article but maybe it's just an appetizer for a book. Whatever, it triggered my own thoughts as I had just finished reading an article by someone who could not reconcile the concept of more than 99% of the universe being plasma and the concept of dark matter making up 80% of the matter in the universe, while ordinary mattter makes up only 20%.
According to Wikipedia based on a NASA article "According to observations of structures larger than galaxies, as well as Big Bang cosmology, dark matter accounts for 23% of the mass-energy density of the observable universe, while the ordinary matter accounts for only 4.6% (the remainder is attributed to dark energy). From these figures, dark matter constitutes 80% of the matter in the universe, while ordinary mattter makes up only 20%."
This is easy to reconcile: The PHYSICAL VISIBLE REAL UNIVERSE is 99.999% plasma. However scientists are not satisfied because their calculations don't work if you just look at REALITY, so they have invented dark matter to reconcile the sums and state that the PHYSICAL VISIBLE REAL UNIVERSE is only 4.6% of our TOTAL REALITY, the rest is dark matter and dark energy (STRANGE UNREALITY). To emphasise the point :
TOTAL REALITY= PHYSICAL VISIBLE REAL UNIVERSE + STRANGE UNREALITY. What I don't understand is why scientists are not shot down in flames for their metaphysical beliefs, their theories could be completely wrong, but as most of them agree, their metaphysics is now standard theory.
Huge NASA Science Balloon Crashes in Australian Outback
Yahoo News, 29th April 2010
A huge NASA balloon loaded with a telescope painstakingly built to scan the sky at wavelengths invisible to the human eye crashed in the Australian outback Thursday, destroying the astronomy experiment and just missing nearby onlookers, according to Australian media reports.
In dramatic video released by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the giant 400-foot (121-meter) balloon is seen just beginning to lift its payload, then the telescope gondola appears to unexpectedly come loose from its carriage. The telescope crashes through a fence and overturn a nearby parked sport utility vehicle before finally stopping. [...]
The failed balloon launch in Australia marked NASA's second balloon science campaign this month at the remote site. On April 15, NASA's balloon science program launched Tracking and Imaging Gamma Ray Experiment (TIGRE), a gamma-ray telescope, to search the galactic center of the sky for emissions from radioactive materials, NASA officials said.
Not exactly impressive, but interesting to find out that they are monitoring the galactic center from a telescope launched by a balloon, almost unbelievable....
Where comets emit dust
Scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research identify the active regions on the surface of comets
Max Planck Society, 26th April 2010
Studying comets can be quite dangerous - especially from close up. Because the tiny particles of dust emitted into space from the so-called active regions on a comet's surface can damage space probes. Scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research in Germany have now developed a computer model that can locate these regions using only the information available from Earth. The new method could help calculate a safe flight route for ESA's space probe Rosetta, which is scheduled to arrive at the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko in 2014. (Astronomy & Astrophysics, 512, A60, 2010)
Obviously, the Max Planck Society is not taking the view that comets are harmless dusty snowballs in space! Here we are being given a different theory to that being promoted by Electric Universe theorists who tell us that comets act like a giant vacuum cleaners in space, in fact, that might be the case but it then collimates the material and spits it out, so peridocially, we have incidents on Earth suggesting something passed between us and the Sun and showered the planet with dust. Like the incident at Broken Hill Australia, September 2009, when a dust storm turned day into night in approx. 40 seconds link
Lucifer Instrument Helps Astronomers See Through Darkness to Most Distant Observable Objects
PopSci News, 23rd April 2010
A new instrument with an evil-sounding name is helping scientists see how stars are born. Lucifer, which stands for (deep breath) "Large Binocular Telescope Near-infrared Utility with Camera and Integral Field Unit for Extragalactic Research," is a chilled instrument attached to a telescope in Arizona. And yes, it's named for the Devil, whose name itself means "morning star." But it wasn't meant to evoke him, according to a spokesman for the University of Arizona, where it is housed.
Apparently, the Vatican observatory is next door, so the real question is of course: why does the Vatican need to have their own observatory, don't they trust the space agencies? Hmmm... The example given here of a stellar nursery 8,000 light years away is relatively quite close, so this telescope is designed to look through dusty plasma that is relatively close to us, I wonder what they are really looking at.
Redshifts and Microwaves
Thunderbolts.info, 21st April 2010
Modern astronomy surely suffers from a kind of blindness. It is either a blindness of mind or one of practice.
The continuing presence of Big Bang cosmology among those who are charged with increasing the store of scientific knowledge proves that there certainly is blindness in some form. Not only astronomers, but science reporters have lost the ability to differentiate fact from theory, thus helping to perpetuate the Big Bang. Media reports constantly assert that new discoveries confirm it when such reports are not based on observational evidence.
On October 3, 2003, the Big Bang theory was falsified by direct observation. The galaxy NGC 7319 was measured to have a redshift of z = 0.0225. It is not uncommon for "nearby" galaxies to have redshifts below z = 1. However, a quasar was located in front of NGC 7319's opaque gas clouds with an observed redshift of z = 2.114.
OK, more proof that cosmologists have got some fundamental theory completely wrong. However, it's very interesting that other physicists working from first principles and simple observation of universal cycles have made some incredible predictions that have been proven to be correct but it means standard dogma is seriously threatened.

UPI News, 16th April 2010
An eerie, greenish nighttime glow in the sky known as the zodiacal cloud comes from comets, not asteroids, U.S. planetary scientists say.
The pancake-shaped glow, seen along the same plane as the orbit of the planets, was first explained by astrologer Joshua Childrey in 1661 as sunlight scattered in Earth's direction by asteroid dust particles in the solar system. [...] "We find that the dust of asteroids is not stirred up enough over its lifetime to make the zodiacal dust cloud as thick as observed," he said. "Only the dust of short-period comets is scattered enough by Jupiter to do so."
This new research means that the commonly held idea of cosmic dust that occasionally decides to give us a nice light effect in the sky at night for no apparent reason is wrong, see wikipedia Zodiacal Light
. This was not the complete picture and some scientists must have known for a long time that it was caused by comets passing through our solar system. I assume that someone will soon make the effort to update wikipedia.
Mysterious radio waves emitted from nearby galaxy
New Scientist, 14th April 2010
There is something strange in the cosmic neighbourhood. An unknown object in the nearby galaxy M82 has started sending out radio waves, and the emission does not look like anything seen anywhere in the universe before.
"We don't know what it is," says co-discoverer Tom Muxlow of Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics near Macclesfield, UK.
appeared in May last year, while Muxlow and his colleagues were monitoring an unrelated stellar explosion in M82 using the MERLIN network of radio telescopes in the UK. A bright spot of radio emission emerged over only a few days, quite rapidly in astronomical terms. Since then it has done very little except baffle astrophysicists.
Yet it does seem to be moving – and fast: its apparent sideways velocity is four times the speed of light. Such apparent "superluminal" motion has been seen before in high-speed jets of material squirted out by some black holes.
The stuff in these jets is moving towards us at a slight angle and travelling at a fair fraction of the speed of light, and the effects of relativity produce a kind of optical illusion that makes the motion appear superluminal.
Comment: 'The Thing', how scientific!
The issue we have is the universe is now generating more and more NEW manifestations. The noted speed suggests subtle energies, or tachyon energy that scientists agree can go way beyond the speed of light. However, with all the other strange blasts of energy and dense 'dark' objects being a reality, it's like the universe is orchestrating a massive new deal for our planet and solar system. Maybe, in terms of the evolution of space-time, new orders are being sent...
Stunning Comet's Size Shocks Scientists
Space.com, 12th April 2010
Comet McNaught, the so-called Great Comet of 2007, has been identified as the biggest comet measured to date, according to scientists, whose calculations were based on the comet's overall influence in space.
Instead of using the length of the comet's tail to measure the scale of the comet, astronomers used data from the ESA/NASA Ulysses spacecraft to determine the size of the region of space disturbed by the comet's presence – a cosmic wake across the solar system.
"It was very difficult to observe Comet McNaught's plasma tail remotely in comparison with the bright dust tail, so we can't really estimate how long it might be," said Dr. Geraint Jones of University College London's Mullard Space Science Laboratory, who will present the findings at the Royal Astronomical Society National Astronomy Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland, on April 13.
"What we can say is that Ulysses took just 2.5 days to traverse the shocked solar wind surrounding Comet Hyakutake, compared to an incredible 18 days in shocked wind surrounding Comet McNaught," Jones said. "This shows that the comet was not only spectacular from the ground, it was a truly immense obstacle to the solar wind."
Hmmm.... According to those who are particularly knowledgeable about comets, the mainstream media were relatively quiet about the arrival, appearance and departure of this monster. However, we must remember that the dogma has been that comets are just lumps of rocky ice, which are much less threatening than the fiery serpents of mythology. Now, scientists have discovered that comets generate X-rays and this has caused some to rethink. What's more, this has been compounded by highly publicised close encounters by space probes, where unignited comets that have been found to be red hot rocks covered in tar! It must be stated that the strange dichotomy between fact and fiction has been to be to keep people in the false belief that Earth is immune from cosmic influences. However, all that is changing as we become aware that there is great activity in the heavens that is affecting us down on Earth. We are living in a techno-age and it is quite noticeable when power grids, electronics and satellite communications are disrupted due to cosmic influences.
Discovery that quasars don't show time dilation mystifies astronomers
PhysOrg.com, 9th April 2010
The phenomenon of time dilation is a strange yet experimentally confirmed effect of relativity theory. One of its implications is that events occurring in distant parts of the universe should appear to occur more slowly than events located closer to us. For example, when observing supernovae, scientists have found that distant explosions seem to fade more slowly than the quickly-fading nearby supernovae. [...]
Astronomer Mike Hawkins from the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh came to this conclusion after looking at nearly 900 quasars over periods of up to 28 years. When comparing the light patterns of quasars located about 6 billion light years from us and those located 10 billion light years away, he was surprised to find that the light signatures of the two samples were exactly the same. If these quasars were like the previously observed supernovae, an observer would expect to see longer, stretched timescales for the distant, stretched high-redshift quasars. But even though the distant quasars were more strongly redshifted than the closer quasars, there was no difference in the time it took the light to reach Earth.
This quasar conundrum doesn't seem to have an obvious explanation,
Yes, the syndrome of the 'mystified' astronomer strikes again! The explanations given here of time dilation are quite straight forward but you don't get told that scientists believe that quasars are a long way away because red-shift is assumed to be related to distance. In fact, Electric Universe theorists and others think this criteria is based on the wrong assumptions and is basically wrong with major implications. Therefore, if quasars are closer than we think, then the lack of time dilation is explained. Halton Arp, "the most feared astronomer on the planet", has very strong views about quasars and their red-shifts, with a significant no. of examples to back up his claims and a few other brave souls have noted the same too, see Quasar in Front of Galaxy
Epsilon Aurigae: Astronomers take close-up pictures of mysterious dark object
Science Codex, 7th April 2010
For the first time, astronomers have directly observed the mysterious dark companion in a binary star system that has puzzled skywatchers since the 19th century.
Using an instrument developed at the University of Michigan, scientists have taken close-up pictures of Epsilon Aurigae during its eclipse, which happens every 27 years. "Close up" in this case is a relative term, but the images zoom in enough to show the shape of the dark object's shadow.
"Seeing is believing," said John Monnier, an associate professor in the U-M Department of Astronomy who is an author of a paper about the research findings published in the April 8 edition of Nature.
Epsilon Aurigae is the fifth brightest star in the northern constellation Auriga. For more than 175 years, astronomers have known it is dimmer than it should be, given its mass. They also noticed its brightness dip for more than a year every few decades. They surmised that it was a binary system in which one companion was invisible. But what type of object was the companion?
Because astronomers hadn't observed much light from it, the prevailing theory labeled it a smaller star orbited edge-on by a thick disk of dust. The theory held that the disk's orbit must be in precisely the same plane as the dark object's orbit around the brighter star, and all of this had to be occurring in the same plane as Earth's vantage point. This would be an unlikely alignment, but it explained observations.
The new images show that this is indeed the case. A geometrically thin, dark, dense, but partially translucent cloud can be seen passing in front of Epsilon Aurigae. [...] On top of that, it seems to be in a rare phase of stellar life. And it happens to be so close to us. It's extremely fortuitous."
Comment: Incredible Astronomy! The short video [0:19] shows how this disc of
dark energy periodically eclipses this star, it is very interesting to say the least, as the buzz increases about Nemesis and a dark object that may be lurking near our solar system and disturbing comets. At the moment, articles and research papers point to a celestial object that we are told that scientists are very unsure of it's properties state that it is a low density star. The other anomaly sitting on the edge of our solar system has been called the Local Interstellar Fluff or "Fluffy" for short. At this moment in time, because details are only being slowly released into the public domain, despite the fact that there are research papers that are over 30 years old concerning this interstellar cloud. So, it might be possible to state that Nemesis and Fluffy are part of the same system, combined like an egg with a yolk and egg white. It's the only way to explain the strange mix of information. Fluffy is a dense crystalline plasma, that hosts a dark dense star that has been called Nemesis. Whatever, Sir Fred Hoyle (1915 - 2001) the astronomer and the author of The Dark Cloud, can be credited for his presentience.
Universe may have billions more stars
Astronomers have underestimated the number of galaxies in parts of the Universe by as much as 90 per cent, according to a study, suggesting billions of stars are yet to be recorded.
The Telegraph, 25th March 2010
Map-makers may have missed the galaxies because surveys of the cosmos are based on a reading of ultraviolet light.
The study by scientists at the University of Geneva observatory, reported in the journal, Nature, says the survey method is a poor indicator of distant galaxies because the light can be blocked by clouds of dust and gas. Matthew Hayes, who led the study, said: Astronomers always knew they were missing some fraction of the galaxies ... but for the first time we now have a measurement. The number of missed galaxies is substantial.
"If there are 10 galaxies seen, there could be a hundred there.
Comment: But the average person still thinks we are the only lifeform that exists? Even the Catholic Church is hosting conferences on the subject of extraterrestrial life, as a dimensional shift is clearly taking place on our planet and the existence of higher dimensional life can no longer be ignored.
Office worker stares off into space... and is the only man on Earth to see exploding comet
Daily Mail, 24th March 2010
An amateur stargazer has captured the moment a comet exploded in space - an event missed by the world's professional astronomers. Musical instrument designer Nick Howes, 40, used the internet to access an online telescope as he sat at his desk in his office. Mr Howes, of Cherhill near Calne, Wilts, logged on to a telescope in Hawaii and began staring into deep space. But he spotted a massive comet breaking up and was able to use the telescope to take photos.
Comment: I use to wonder why there was major events were taking place in space and professional astronomers were missing them like the recent impact on Jupiter that was also spotted by an amateur astronomer, but the issue is that it's extremely busy in space and a lot to watch! Anyway, I am still in shock from discovering that there are nearly half a million 'minor planets' in our solar system. According to Wikipedia,
"As of January 2010 there are 231,665 numbered minor planets, and about as many yet unnumbered."
The term "minor planet" is the term used to denote the official designation for all small bodies in orbit around the Sun that used to be called asteroids. It is fairly common knowledge that some scientists think a large planet blew up in our solar system creating the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, the moons, the rings of matter, the comets, the meteors, the twin planets Pluto and Charon, and the four gas planets. However, this sheer volume might explain the difficulties of spotting rogue asteroids in our solar system that are coming our way.
Planck Sees Tapestry Of Cold Dust
Space Daily, 18th March 2010
Giant filaments of cold dust stretching through our Galaxy are revealed in a new image from ESA's Planck satellite. Analysing these structures could help to determine the forces that shape our Galaxy and trigger star formation.
Planck is principally designed to study the biggest mysteries of cosmology. How did the Universe form? How did the galaxies form? This new image extends the range of its investigations into the cold dust structures of our own Galaxy.
The image shows the filamentary structure of dust in the solar neighbourhood - within about 500 light-years of the Sun.
There are many forces at work in the Galaxy to help shape the molecular clouds and cirrus into these filamentary patterns. For example, on large scales the Galaxy rotates, creating spiral patterns of stars, dust, and gas. Gravity exerts an important influence, pulling on the dust and gas. Radiation and particle jets from stars push the dust and gas around, and magnetic fields also play a role, although to what extent is presently unclear. [...]
One puzzle to be solved is why there is similar filamentary structure on both the large and the small scale. "That's a big question," says Tauber.
Comment: The Universe is best explained when we understand that the electromagnetic force rules the universe. Space is not empty it is filled with dust and plasma, charged sub-atomic particles that is mostly influenced by the electromagnetic force. Plasma displays the same properties at scales from the microscopic to the macroscopic, over a trilllion fold. Plasma cosmologists have no difficulty proving this point, as plasma physicists reveal the electromagnetic force, determined by the mass to charge ratio for sub-atomic particles e.g. the repulsive force between two protons, is 36 orders of magnetitude (1036) larger than the force of gravitational attraction and the repulsive force between two electrons is 42 orders of magnetitude (1042) larger than the force of gravitational attraction.
Unlocking the Secrets of Jupiter's Giant Red Spot
Daily Galaxy, 17th March 2010
The observations reveal that the reddest color of the Great Red Spot corresponds to a warm core within the otherwise cold storm system, and images show dark lanes at the edge of the storm where gases are descending into the deeper regions of the planet. These types of data, detailed in a paper appearing in the journal Icarus, give scientists a sense of the circulation patterns within the solar system's best-known storm system.
"This is our first detailed look inside the biggest storm of the solar system," said Glenn Orton, a senior research scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., who was one of the authors of the paper. "We once thought the Great Red Spot was a plain old oval without much structure, but these new results show that it is, in fact, extremely complicated."
Sky gazers have been observing the Great Red Spot in one form or another for hundreds of years, with continuous observations of its current shape dating back to the 19th century. The spot, which is a cold region averaging about 110 Kelvin (minus 260 degrees Fahrenheit) is so wide about three Earths could fit inside its boundaries.
Comment: Hmmm... So, scientists are telling us that they have never been able to peer into the largest permanent 'storm' in our solar system on Jupiter, which they have been watching for hundreds of years, but we have details of the galactic center which is 150 thousand trillion, or 150 million billion, or 150 thousand million million, or about 150,000,000,000,000,000 in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius or 150 quadrillion miles away? Well, the main point about watching the planets in our solar system is that we are seeing rapid changes that some have been bold enough to tell us signify "global warming" but would be better explained in terms of energy driven evolutionary change.
NASA Baffled by Giant Space Ribbon
Louis Ville Mojo, 14th March 2010
It sounds like something out of Star Trek, but it's all too real: a few months ago NASA's IBEX (Interstellar Boundary
Explorer) spacecraft discovered a giant ribbon of atomic particles floating at the edge of our solar system.
Nothing like the space ribbon has ever been seen before, and when NASA scientists first saw the data, they were stunned.
As they double-checked the data and determined that the readings were in not in error, and as they realized the immense
size of what they were beholding, they may well have had the same creeping sense of horror and awe as when it
gradually dawned on the cast of Star Wars that they were seeing the Death Star.
NASA found itself in the nervous position of having to publicly
admit that there was something huge, radioactive and invisible out there, right by our own solar system, and
we have no clue what it's doing there. Not only that, but both our previous Voyager deep-space probes failed to detect it.
"This is a shocking new result," said IBEX principal investigator Dave McComas. "We had no idea this ribbon existed - or
what has created it." [...]
What this means for Earth's future is uncertain. As the latest NASA article on the space ribbon states:
And upon this field, the future may hinge.
These discoveries about the outer fringe of our solar system come at a time when new NASA revelations have piled up so fast and so frequently that our paradigm is completely
changing again and again without the general public even really being aware.
.The solar system is passing through a region of the Milky Way filled with cosmic rays and interstellar clouds. The
magnetic field of our own sun, inflated by the solar wind into a bubble called the "heliosphere," substantially protects us
from these things. However, the bubble itself is vulnerable to external fields. A strong magnetic field just outside the solar
system could press against the heliosphere and interact with it in unknown ways. Will this strengthen our natural shielding -
or weaken it? No one can say.
Most of us grew up being told in school that there were nine, maybe ten, planets in the solar system, and we now know
that there are hundreds of thousands of
them. And far from being chunky bits of asteroid debris as previously believed, we now know that many of them are
spherical and even have their own moons, like the planet Pulcova or the planet Haumea or the astonishingly Earth-like
It's a whole new ball game in space.
Comment: The author can't believe how much NASA et al. have mislead the public, but I can't believe
how vast swathes of the metaphysical community have been mislead by hoaxers as well, but Mayan Elders have been vindicated. Btw I deliberately emphasised the "death star", it
seems the author has had some coaching...
Excerpts From The Electric Universe
Thunderbolts.info, 13th March 2010
Comets fragmenting is a common occurrence but upon close examination of such events, many of which take place far from the sun, it becomes obvious that an electrical explanation offers a far better fit than the ad hoc adjustment of the "dirty snowball" model.
Comment: Now that there has been an "official" announcement that something is lurking beyond the edge of our solar system, comets being "kicked" in our direction is the explanation for why we are seeing so much comet activity. There have been forums buzzing with a disaffected Australian astronomer who seemed to believe that the end was nigh (July 2004). There was metaphysical messages that stated a huge comet headed our way in the 1990s, was broken-up to save destruction on Earth. At this moment in time, I still am not 100% sure which comet was being discussed because there were quite a few at that time but the most noted in July 1994, was the spectacular demise of Shoemaker-Levy 9 on Jupiter. Now we have just seen four in a row hit the Sun and this generated quite a lot of excitement. This series of exerpts is quite timely, but even Electric Universe theorists do not have a public explanation yet for the weird asteroid reported in February 2010, (the difference between meteors and asteroids is based on the composition of this celestial object and the shape of orbits. This is the NASA opinion for the mainstream, Asteroids, Comets, Meteorites. It does not mention that Russian scientists have attempted to look inside comets that were surrounded with a coma and in some they found no object inside, ie it was just pure plasma and so again, our experts do not see that some of these objects are massive sparks of consciousness. Image of the Day: "The Black Cloud"
Daily Galaxy, 12th March 2010
In 1964, astrophysicists in Fred Hoyle's sci-fi novel, 'The Black Cloud', become aware of an immense black cloud of gas
that enters the solar system. The cloud, moving to interpose itself between the sun and the earth, could wipe out most of
the life on earth by blocking solar radiation and ending photosynthesis. Astronomers and other scientists gather in England,
where they discover that the cloud is a super-organism, many times more intelligent than our human species.
In a fascinating case of life imitating art, physicists have
discovered over the past few years intriguing evidence of life-like double-helix structures formed from inorganic
substances in space which raises the question of whether extraterrestrial life could be composed of corkscrew-
shaped formations of interstellar dust. The findings hint at the possibility that life beyond Earth may not necessarily use
carbon-based molecules as its building blocks and they may also point to a possible new explanation for the origin of life
Plasmas can also form under terrestrial conditions, such as the point of a lightning strike. The researchers speculate that
perhaps an inorganic form of life emerged on the primordial earth, which then acted as the template for the more familiar
organic molecules we know today.
Comment: Hmmm.... Life imitating art.... dense dark cloud of
plasma that has now been called Nememsis.... I read the astronomer Fred Hoyle's book The Black
Cloud after finding out that there was a real Local Interstellar Cloud, also known as the "Local Fluff" that had
already entered our solar system. According to NASA, the European Space Agency and other less official sources, this is
a dense plasma with crystalline properties and it's approach has been watched for about 25 years.
I have written about this scenario but I was very cross about NASA's last announcement appeared 2 days before
Christmas, you can judge for yourself whether that you think that is strange. This article discusses life imitating art and
cites the research that tells us that plasma has all the properties that we think is essential for life. Metaphysical sources have
talked about the arrival of diamond ray or diamond flame energy, and quite frankly it's just one of many messages that
required some serious work to verify.
There is a tremendous amount of celestial influences effecting life on Earth and as much as I enjoyed Hoyle's book, I
realise that it's a long way from explaining the onslaught that Earth is facing now in terms of Space Weather.
Update However, Hoyles book could still be prophetic, if the real dark crystalline cloud called "Fluffy"
that is being disguised as "Nememsis" has the ability to interfere and accelerate Space Weather effects. Oh yes, and then
everything on Earth would get highly magnetic and electrical, some real "attraction"....
Sun's Nemesis Pelted Earth with Comets, Study Suggests
Space.com, 11th March 2010
A dark object may be lurking near our solar system, occasionally kicking comets in
our direction. Nicknamed "Nemesis" or "The Death Star," this undetected object could be a red or
brown dwarf star, or an even darker presence several times the mass of Jupiter. Why do scientists think something could
be hidden beyond the edge of our solar system? Originally, Nemesis was suggested as a way to explain a cycle of mass
extinctions on Earth.
Comment: Well, this is going to send the Planet X, Niburu people into a frenzy. I am sorry you will
have to do you own research (dyor), because it is an idea that I have never felt was true [ie a death star because old reports
tell us that astronomers had no idea what was approaching and this is a major clue that Nememesis is just a convenient
name for whatever], but maybe astronomers feel the need to explain what is happening and as they expect even more
comets, meteorites and fireballs which we all know have been increasing dramatically.
However the FACTS are that something has already entered our solar system, a dense crystalline plasma cloud with higher
than expected magnetism that NASA has stated has dense pockets that they are worried may pop the heliosheath that
protects our solar system from Galactic Cosmic Rays. This is all quite interesting as our shielding against galactic cosmic
rays and radiation is already at times severely reduced.
Quite frankly, there is a tremendous amount of celestial events all taking place at once, our planet is being hammered by
Space Weather and even NASA is admitting that the Earth's tilt has changed more than expected. We have to remember
that the Earth is a huge energetic system and the energetic input is like turning the cogs in an old fashion clock, once one
turns they all turn and currently our planet is being reset to a new energetic state. The metaphysical community were
encouraged to work on their energy fields because they are the most sensitive and will be effected first by the changing
subtle energies, it seems many metaphysical messages have been vindicated as we continue to monitor the impact of
cosmic energies driving evolutionary change.
New Rocket Engine Could Reach Mars in 40 Days
Space.com, 5th March 2010
Future Mars outposts or colonies may seem more distant than ever with NASA's exploration plans in flux, but the rocket technology that could someday propel a human mission to the red planet in as little as 40 days may already exist.
A company founded by former NASA astronaut Franklin Chang-Diaz has been developing a new rocket engine that draws upon electric power and magnetic fields to channel superheated plasma out the back. That stream of plasma generates steady, efficient thrust that uses low amounts of propellant and builds up speed over time.
Comment: Well, it seems that some scientists woke up a long time ago and realised that we live in an Electromagnetic/Plasma Universe and that for mankind to make any significant achievements we have to copy the interdimensional plasmatic lifeforms that operate by ustilising the basic energy of the universe – plasma – that due to it's charge to mass ratio is mostly influenced by electric and magnetic fields. So, are we supposed to believe that more advanced plasma engines are not already operational under black projects? The video here [4:48] is quite nice: Promising New Space Engines are Opening the Solar System
A Stellar, Metal-Free Way to Make Carbon Nanotubes
PhysOrg.com, 22nd February 2010
Space apparently has its own recipe for making carbon nanotubes, one of the most intriguing contributions of nanotechnology here on Earth, and metals are conspicuously missing from the list of ingredients. The finding is the surprising by-product of lab experiments designed by Joseph Nuth at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md. and his colleagues to address the astronomical question of how carbon gets recycled in the regions of space that spawn stars and planets.
"I am amazed at the implications of this paper, not only for astrophysics but also for materials science," says Dick Zare, the chair of the chemistry department at Stanford University, Stanford, Calif. "Could Nature know a new chemistry for making carbon nanotubes that we have yet to discover?" [...] The findings also might open a new realm of investigation in astronomy, because "we can take the whiskers produced by Joe and interrogate their properties," says Steele.
In particular, researchers can evaluate whether graphite whiskers absorb light, he notes. A positive result would lend credence to the proposition that the presence of these molecules in space affects the observations of some supernovas. The ability to test this hypothesis could start a reaction of its own.
Comment:So it seems that these scientists are starting to speculate that out in space, there may be simple processes involving plasmas that we have not previously discovered. The most intriguing aspect is that the production of carbon
in space that might absorb light and since astronomy is based on observing light it means that our basic assumptions about what is going on in space could be affected.
A New 3-D Map of the Interstellar Gas Within 300 Parsecs from the Sun
Science Daily, 15th February 2010
Astronomy & Astrophysics is publishing new 3D maps of the interstellar gas in the local area around our Sun. [...]
The white area surrounding the Sun (i.e., at the center of the map) corresponds to a very low-density area of neutral gas, known as the Local Cavity. It is about 80 parsecs in radius in most directions and is surrounded by a highly fragmented "wall" of dense neutral gas. The various gaps in the wall are termed "interstellar tunnels" and represent rarefied pathways into other surrounding interstellar cavities. Maps of the distribution of CaII have never been made before, and they reveal that the Local Cavity contains numerous filamentary structures of partially ionized gas that appear to form in a honeycomb-like pattern of small interstellar cells.
Comment: It's NOT gas it's plasma. This is a quote from Nobel Prize winning astrophysicist Hannes Alfvén written in my book:
Space is filled with a network of currents which transfer energy and momentum over large or very large distances. The currents often pinch to filamentary or surface currents. The latter are likely to give space, as also interstellar and intergalactic space, a cellular structure.
One of the notable characteristics of space plasma, revealed by satellites and space probes, is its tendency to form sharp boundaries between plasmas with different properties. This tendency towards cellular structure can have profound astrophysical implications such as generating electric fields in space and providing sources of energy for driving electric currents over very large distances source
Is Jupiter Undergoing Massive Climate Change? A Weekend Feature
Daily Galaxy, 13th February 2010
The Hubble Space Telescope and Keck Observatory images may support the idea that Jupiter is in the midst of violent global climate change.
This theory was first proposed in 2004 by Phil Marcus, a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. The planet's temperatures may be changing by 15 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, with the giant planet getting warmer near the equator and cooler near the South Pole. Marcus predicted that large changes would start in the southern hemisphere around 2006, causing the jet streams to become unstable and spawn new vortices as has been proven out by the emergence of new swirling red storms.
Comment: As many others have noted, there is a rapid transformation of our solar system underway brought about by the arrival of Space Weather. Literally, the underlying aetheric energetic background of our reality is changing and that means a New Energy has been percolating through into the physical realms. The only issue that the skeptics point out is that we don't have enough observations to see whether changes are caused by planetary seasonal variations, but the answer to that is that ALL the planets in our solar system are changing at the same time and quickly with some changes taking place in a few months and years.
How the face of Pluto changed in just two years (do you think they can blame it on global warming?)
Daily Mail, 5th February 2010
Nasa scientists have been left stunned after detailed images of the surface of Pluto reveal it has dramatically changed colour over just a two-year period.
The Hubble Telescope captured the images, which are the most detailed and dramatic ever taken of the distant dwarf planet.
They revealed that the cosmic body, demoted from full planet status in 2006, is significantly redder than it has been for the past several decades.
The photos show a mottled world with a yellow-orange hut, but astronomers say it is 20 per cent more red than it used to be. At the same time its illuminated northern hemisphere is getting brighter, while the southern hemisphere has darkened.
Astronomers say Pluto's surface is changing even more than the surface of other bodies in the solar system.
Marc Buie, of the Southwest Research Institute, said: 'It's a little bit of a surprise to see these changes happening so big and so fast. This is unprecedented.'
Comment: I was going to be cautious about this change over a two year period, but the editors of the Daily Mail have probably got the sentiment right in their headline. Due to the massive increases in energy from galactic sources, astronomers simply cannot assume that changes are due to 'seasonl changes'. Each planet in our solar system is connected to the rest of the universe and cannot be considered a closed system. Since we are now receiving MEGA galactic blasts from Magnetars, that can give off as much energy in .2 seconds, as the sun gives off in 200,000 years, energy driven evolutionary change is happening right now. This is the report at space.com, Hubble Catches Pluto Changing With The Years
Twenty-Fifth Series Of German-Russian Plasma Physics Experiments
Spacedaily.com, 4th February 2010
From 27 to 29 January 2010, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kotov will be running the 25th series of complex plasma physics experiments on the International Space Station
(ISS). The German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum fur Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) has funded both the development of the experimental equipment and the research itself. [...]
In the experiments on the ISS , the electrical field between two electrodes converts an inert gas such as argon or neon into a plasma. Particles of a synthetic material, each measuring no more than a few microns across, are then injected into this plasma.
The particles become electrically charged by the plasma field and gain the same polarity. Since they repel each other, they form a structurally ordered aggregate which eventually leads to the development of a crystal structure, similar to that of many metals, known as a plasma crystal.
Comment: Well, I can't work out why they are doing this experiment in the cramped quarters of the ISS, but it's very interesting. We have a crystalline plasma on our doorstep (Fluffy or formally known as Local Fluff by NASA, a crystalline cloud that is 30 light years wide) and it seems the race has been on to understand what might happen. Yet, the metaphysical community have been encouraged by channelled messages to sort out their energy fields, and to expect the arrival of diamond ray or diamond flame energy.
I wrote my book about the new phenomena of Space Weather and it's impact, with an emphasis on the need to strengthen the human energy field so that it could act as a more effective shield. This naturally happens in the process of spiritual evolution anyway, but being more conscious of your evolving energy field will act to speed the process up and there are techniques that can be used. However, it is only recently that I discovered that a rarified plasma a million times less dense than air can deflect a beam of electrons that would normally bore through steel. This has only strengthened my conviction that I had understood the science and metaphysics enough to make my claims.
Still, I am pleased that I made the connection with the human energy field and how NASA scientists plan to shield spacecraft in the highly radioactive environment of space. This collection of facts is all highly relevant, as we learn that Earth is lowering her shields to Space Weather. Since, my interest has always been to integrate science and metaphyiscs, even I am shocked by what has been hidden and is now only becoming known and fully understood.
Suspected Asteroid Collision Leaves Odd X-Pattern of Trailing Debris
NASA News, 2nd February 2010
NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has observed a mysterious X-shaped debris pattern and trailing streamers of dust that suggest a head-on collision between two asteroids. Astronomers have long thought the asteroid belt is being ground down through collisions, but such a smashup has never been seen before.
At the time of the Hubble observations, the object was approximately 180 million miles from the sun and 90 million miles from Earth. The Hubble images were recorded with the new Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3), which is capable of detecting house-sized fragments at the distance of the asteroid belt.
Comment: Hmmm... NASA scientists still want to talk about ice, you just have to laugh... Whatever it is, we have never seen anything like it before... the more one finds out about the universe, the more it becomes apparent that we don't know much...

Electric Comets Part 3
Thunderbolts.info, 1st February 2010
This week we present the orthodox "dirty snowball" model and contrast it with the plasma discharge (electric comet) model. In presenting these in dot-point form it is easy to see that the plasma discharge model explains and even predicts the observations much more accurately than does the currently accepted model of comets.
Comment: This series of free excerpts is quite timely as amateur and professional astronomers focus on one of the most bizarre celestial objects seen in space ever! This is Part 2, Excerpts From The Electric Universe

"The Universe Was Not Created By A Big Bang" -Say Several of the World's Leading Cosmologists
Daily Galaxy, 25th January 2010
Several of the worlds leading astrophysicists believe there was no Big Bang that brought the universe and time into existence. Before the Big Bang, the standard theory assumes, there was no space, just nothing. Einstein merged the universe into a single entity: not space, not time, but space time.
Proponents of branes propose that we are trapped in a thin membrane of space-time embedded in a much larger cosmos from which neither light nor energy (except gravity) can escape or enter and that "dark matter" is just the rest of the universe that we can't see because light can't escape from or enter into our membrane from the great bulk of the universe. And our membrane may be only one of many, all of which may warp, connect, and collide with one another in as many as 10 dimensions -a new frontier physicists call the "brane world." Stephen Hawking, among others, envisions brane worlds bubbling up out of the void, giving rise to whole new universes. [...]
Perhaps not surprisingly, there is no supportative data to date for Big Bang theory, although the results aren't sensitive enough to rule out the pervasive Big Bang/inflation model.
Comment: It's remarkable that the theory of Big Bang managed to attain any credibility, but it is widely understood to be an atempt at justifying the religious belief, 'In the beginning...'. Therefore, the comment "What banged?" sums up the illogical premise exactly. However, the discussion of spacetime and branes here is pure metaphysics and sounds very similar to Hindu and Taoist creation beliefs.

January 16, 2010
Since the beginning of the space age and with progression to more sophisticated and accurate space probes and telescopes, astrophysicists have been presented with many "surprises", resulting in an almost daily ad hoc adjustment of their theories. But of the many bodies known throughout space, nothing is more enigmatic for the standard model of cosmology than the humble comet. And so we begin this presentation at the beginning of Chapter 4, Electric Comets.
Comment: I will always be grateful for those currently advocating the Electric/Plasma Universe theories. When I was doing my original research for my book, I found a lot of disgruntled scientists, but the most angry were those who realised that our current electromagnetic theory was just very very poor. Hence, those who have veered away from conventional thought and created their own theories, can provide us with a consistent understanding of our universe and the appreciation that the electromagnetic force rules the universe. The Electric/Plasma Universe is now becoming the focus of a paradigm shift as the onset of Space Weather has forced the space scientists to rethink some of the most cherished astronomical theories.
Giant Ribbon at the Edge of
the Solar System: Mystery Solved?
NASA News, 15th January 2010
Last year, when NASA's IBEX (Interstellar Boundary Explorer) spacecraft discovered a giant ribbon at the edge of the
solar system, researchers were mystified. They called it a "shocking result" and puzzled over its origin. Now the mystery
may have been solved.
"We believe the ribbon is a reflection," says Jacob Heerikhuisen, a NASA Heliophysics Guest Investigator from the
University of Alabama in Huntsville. "It is where solar wind particles heading out into interstellar space are reflected back
into the solar system by a galactic magnetic field."
Comment: At the WUWT forum, we have another interpretation from someone who sees the 'Giant
Ribbon' in terms of plasma physics and so we can dispense with this new theory by Jacob Heerikhuisen et al., which I
think should not be taken seriously anyway because it's retrospective. Any decent theory is supposed to be predictive and
observations are supposed to ensure that scientists have got their basic ideas right. Well, NASA et al. proved they did not
have the fundamentals correct because the 'Giant Ribbon' was a complete surprise. Anyway, this is from Solrey who
comments at WUWT:
solrey (09:16:52) :
The rest of the quote is also quite interesting as the plasma universe interpretation removes most the mystery that plagues
much of conventional science related to the universe.
The reflection process posited by Heerikhuisen et al. is a bit complicated, involving multiple charge exchange
reactions between protons and hydrogen atoms. The upshot, however, is simple. Particles from the solar wind that escape
the solar system are met ~100 astronomical units (~15 billion kilometers) away by an interstellar magnetic field. Magnetic
forces intercept the escaping particles and sling them right back where they came from.
However, the bubble itself is vulnerable to external fields. A strong magnetic field just outside the solar system could
press against the heliosphere and interact with it in unknown ways.
Diamond Oceans Possible on Uranus, Neptune
By melting and resolidifying diamond, scientists explain how such liquid diamond oceans may be possible.
Discovery News, 15th January 2010
Oceans of liquid diamond, filled with solid diamond icebergs, could be floating on Neptune and Uranus, according to a recent article in the journal Nature Physics.
The research, based on first detailed measurements of the melting point of diamond, found diamond behaves like water during freezing and melting, with solid forms floating atop liquid forms. The surprising revelation gives scientists a new understanding about diamonds and some of the most distant planets in our solar system.
- * Like ice on water, solid diamond floats on liquid diamond.
- * The finding explains possible liquid diamond oceans on other planets.
- * Diamond oceans may cause off-kilter planetary tilts.
An ocean of diamond could help explain the orientation of the planet's magnetic field as well, said Eggert. Roughly speaking, the Earth's magnetic poles match up with the geographic poles. The magnetic and geographic poles on Uranus and Neptune do not match up; in fact, they can be up to 60 degrees off of the north-south axis.
Comment: It's interesting that scientists are studying the properties of diamonds and applying this to planets in our solar system. The diamond has great meaning in traditional esoteric and mystical teaching as it is recognised to be high frequency in the cosmic scheme of things. The diamond is the most evolved crystal. "Note: the header states: Dicovery ...news wants a little of that space bling." My respeonse is that according to NASA a 30 light year wide cloud of bling is arriving and is already on our door step and we know from astronomers that it is a dense crystalline dusty plasma. The metaphysical community have neem told that this is dimaond ray energy or diamond flame energy, but have been told to prepare because this high energy could burn out our EM circuits. However, I do like the connotations of "cosmic bling".
"The Black Cloud" - Could Life Exist in Clouds of Interstellar Dust?
Daily Galaxy, 13th January 2010
In 1964, astrophysicists in Fred Hoyle's scifi novel, The Black Cloud, become aware of an immense black cloud of gas that enters the solar system. The cloud, moving to interpose itself between the sun and the earth, could wipe out most of the life on earth by blocking solar radiation and ending photosynthesis. Astronomers and other scientists gather in England, where they discover that the cloud is a super-organism, many times more intelligent than our human species.
In a fascinating case of life imitating art, physicists have discovered over the past few years intriguing evidence of life-like double-helix structures formed from inorganic substances in space which raises the question of whether extraterrestrial life could be composed of corkscrew-shaped formations of interstellar dust. The findings hint at the possibility that life beyond Earth may not necessarily use carbon-based molecules as its building blocks and they may also point to a possible new explanation for the origin of life on Earth.
Comment: Yes and "Fluffy" the interstellar crystalline cloud [officially called Local Fluff] that scientists say is like nothing else they have ever seen before, is now very close.... In fact, the evidence suggests, that it is already here and we are experiencing the outer edges. The unfolding of the true story about "Fluffy" that astronomers have known about for at least 25 years, gives us a new degree of respect for channelled messages that have informed us about the arrival of diamond ray or diamond flame energy, see Integrating and Igniting The Diamond Ray Flame. It is also another major prediction verification for modern Mayan Elders who also warned us about a New Age dominated by Space and the ether and other Keepers of Ancient Knowledge that predicted a dimensional shift that is clearly taking place now.
The Big Bang is a Big Bust for Skeptics
Discovery News, 12th January 2010
To some astronomy enthusiasts the phrase "big bang" seems awfully superfluous. It's the shortest of shorthands for describing the origin of everything: stars, planets, people and petunias.>
Astronomers think all of this came from an extremely hot and dense fireball that sprang out of a microscopic quantum space netherworld 13.7 billion years ago.
The award-winning science writer-producer Timothy Ferris lambasted the term "big bang" years ago: "For all its triumphs the big bang theory labors under an embarrassing handicap -- it's a misleading, ugly and trivializing name. We're talking here about the origin of the universe, an event that has been viewed by all cultures with the utmost reverence."
"In 1994 Ferris, Hugh Downs of ABC-TV, and Cornell astronomer Carl Sagan judged over 13,000 entries from people in 41 countries who suggested new names for the big bang, in a contest sponsored by Sky and Telescope magazine.
Some entries included: Matter Morphosis, The Bottom Turtle, Super Seed, Hubble Bubble, Let There Be Stuff, Blast from the Past, the Spark in the Dark, Buddha's Burp, Trip from Zip, Immaculate Inception, Primal Pop, Jurassic Quark, and Time In!
Comment: LOL!! Buddha's Burp must have won..... It seems that the term 'Big Bang' is going out of fashion.
By the way, the so called 'proof' of the Big Bang provided by the near perfect blackbody radiation pictured here is a complete fraud, see exposing a fraudulent discovery.
The Interstellar Medium
Thunderbolts info, 11th January 2010
[...] According to a recent press release, there is an unexpected cloud of gas and dust that is encompassing the Sun's heliosheath. Prior to the discovery, conventional understanding did not predict that it would be there because high pressure supernova shockwaves should have blown it away.
However, according to Merav Opher of George Mason University: "Using data from Voyager, we have discovered a strong magnetic field just outside the Solar System. This magnetic field holds the interstellar cloud together and solves the long-standing puzzle of how it can exist at all."
On August 20, 1977, NASA launched the Voyager 2 mission on a multiyear journey to the outer Solar System. Voyager 1 was launched on a faster, shorter trajectory on September 5, 1977. Voyager 1 passed through the Sun's termination shock in December 2004. Voyager 2, traveling a different path, did the same in August 2007. It was data from those "old-timers" that provided the information for Opher's assessment of the ISM.
What is the heliosheath? When Voyager 1 experienced "unusual events" as it approached the boundary between the Sun and interstellar space, Electric Universe advocate Wal Thornhill explained that the spacecraft was entering a "double layer", or Langmuir plasma sheath between the solar plasma and the plasma of the ISM.
Comment: This article is quite simple and reads almost like a tutorial and helps us decode other more obscure articles coming from NASA et al.
More on "Fluffy" I have found new information that has now help me pull together different strands of information from scientific and metaphysical sources. Briefly, our scientists have know for at least 25 years of the approach of this cloud that was also harbouring some big comets. There have been some ridiculous estimates for how long it would take to arrive, but it's on our doorstep now. NASA et al. are being very vague in their latest press releases, but there is help from elsewhere as information has been put in the public domain and some from astronomers who hoped to stay anonymous.... It seems that we are already in the outer nebulous portion of this cloud and it seems to have smaller pockets that are more magnetised and more dense, and that is where there is some concern, see December 2008, How a Cloud of Space Dust Could Wipe Out Life on Earth.
Now the best bit is that metaphysical messages have talked about the arrival of crystalline energy, for example see, Integrating and Igniting The Diamond Ray Flame, so guess what the rumours from the astronomical community suggested a few years back? This is a massive story that has been unfolding for many years and we even have prophecies, some very old prophecies that now make sense. It must be stated that many old prophecies have been voided and that is why Armaggedon did not take place, but the Seers over the centuries have seen many different potentials for mankind and so our future has never been fixed. The avoidance of major disaster scenarios for around 2000 suggests that indeed, mankind have chosen to move to a higher state of evolution and consciousness, so I am not saying there will not be any trouble, but I believe we have avoided the worst world wide catastrophe.
Now, since those who are most interested in their evolution have been given much guidance about upgrading their energy fields, it seems that whatever happens with "Fluffy" (that I will soon rename to something more appropriate because it is completely misleading), we have been given an opportunity to spiritually evolve. Unfortunately, many have been diverted because they have not had the necessary guidance, as there has been a need for high levels of discernment to sort out the vast selection of hoaxers that are harboured in the religious/spiritual/metaphysical community combined with lack of knowledge of the real meaning of esoteric/spiritual teachings. Whatever, I am actually quite excited after years of following my intuition and piecing together the science and metaphysics associated with Space Weather, and it is now much easier to see The Big Picture.
Scientists reveal Milky Way's magnetic attraction
PhysOrg.com, 6th January 2010
An international research project involving the University of Adelaide has revealed that the magnetic field in the centre of the Milky Way is at least 10 times stronger than the rest of the Galaxy.
The evidence is significant because it gives astronomers a lower limit on the magnetic field, an important factor in calculating a whole range of astronomical data. [...]
This research will challenge current thinking among astronomers, Dr Crocker says. For the last 30 years there has been considerable uncertainty of the exact value of the magnetic field in the centre of the Milky Way. The strength of this field enters into most calculations in astronomy, since almost all of space is magnetised, he says.
Dr Jones says the findings will affect diverse fields, from star formation theory to cosmology.
If our Galactic centre's magnetic field is stronger than we thought, this raises additional questions of how it got so strong when fields in the early universe are, in contrast, quite weak. We know now that more than 10% of the Galaxy's magnetic energy is concentrated in less than 0.1% of its volume, right at its centre, he says.
Comment: We have observations falsifying theory and particularly the theory associated with black holes which has been obviously wrong for a long time. Interestingly, now that I am aware of the role of magnetic fields and electric currents in the universe, it makes looking back at old spiritual books written by true masters even more fascinating....
NASA's new planet-hunting telescope finds two new mystery objects, unlike stars or planets
Star Tribune, 4th January 2010
WASHINGTON - NASA's new planet-hunting telescope has found two mystery objects that are too hot to be planets and too small to be stars.
The Kepler Telescope, launched in March, discovered the two new heavenly bodies, each circling its own star. Telescope chief scientist Bill Borucki of NASA said the objects are thousands of degrees hotter than the stars they circle. That means they probably aren't planets. They are bigger and hotter than planets in our solar system, including dwarf planets.
"The universe keeps making strange things stranger than we can think of in our imagination," said Jon Morse, head of astrophysics for NASA. [...] The universe really is a weird place. It's fantastic."
Comment: LOL!! The universe is far more complex and diverse than humans can imagine, and this will become very apparent, as the veil continues to lift. What's more, there willl be a realisation that official government UFO statements that have all referred to the non-existence of "unnatural" phenomena have been telling people the truth, but not the whole truth.....
Explosive Nearby Star Could Threaten Earth
Space.com, 4th January 2010
A massive, eruptive white dwarf star in the Milky Way — long overdue for its next periodic eruption — is closer to our solar system than previously thought and could threaten the Earth if it fully explodes millions of years from now.
New observations of the white dwarf and its sun-like stellar companion are giving scientists a better understanding of the star's precarious position as a possible supernova, astronomers said here today at the 215th meeting of the American Astronomical Society.
The two stars are in a close binary system called T Pyxidis, located in the Southern Hemisphere constellation Pyxis ("The Compass Box"). Researchers found that the system is only 3,260 light-years from our solar system – far closer than anyone previously thought. (A light-year is the distance that light travels in one Earth year, or about 6 trillion miles.)
The new findings suggest the white dwarf, considered close to us by cosmic standards, could eventually go supernova. Gamma radiation emitted by the supernova could threaten the Earth with an energy equivalent to 1,000 simultaneous solar flares.
Comment: The reason for pointing out this article is because it is becoming increasing obvious to me that astronomers cannot properly measure distances in space and I have been appalled at one example where scientists talked about interstellar cloud that would arrive in 10,000 years, but only after 30 years is now on our doorstep.....
Thunderbolts.info, 30th December 2009
Extreme magnetic fields in space are said to be caused by the high-speed rotation of neutron stars. One of many cases where a theory is built on the incorrect assumptions of another theory. [...]
"Magnetars" are anomalous stars identified as x-ray pulsars (AXP) or soft gamma repeaters (SGR). They are said to be created by neutron stars with magnetic fields measuring over 10^15 Gauss. For comparison, the Earth's magnetic field is about one-half Gauss, so these "magnetic pulsars" are surprisingly powerful sources. It must be stressed, though, that the evidence is indirect and no neutron star has ever been observed.
Comment: The opinion of Electric Universe theorists is important as we know that Earth is now under a constant bombardment by Magnetar "magnetic monsters" and metaphysical sources have informed us that the bombardment is now dramatically escalating.
Anniversary of a cosmic blast
Discover Magazine, 27th December 2009
The scale of this onslaught is nearly impossible to exaggerate. The flood of gamma and X-rays that washed over the
Earth was detected by several satellites designed to observe the high-energy skies.
RHESSI, which observes the Sun, saw this blast. INTEGRAL, used to look for gamma rays from monster black holes,
saw this blast. The newly-launched Swift satellite, built to detect gamma-ray bursts from across the Universe, not only saw
this blast, but its detectors were completely saturated by the assault of energy… even though Swift wasn't pointed
anywhere near the direction of the burst! In other words, this flood of photons saturated Swift even though they had to
pass through the walls of the satellite itself first!
It gets worse. This enormous wave of fierce energy was so powerful it actually partially ionized the Earth's upper
atmosphere, and it made the Earth's magnetic field ring like a bell. Several satellites were actually blinded by the
So what was this thing? What could do this kind of damage?
The blast of energy surged away from the magnetar, out into the galaxy. In just 200
milliseconds — a fifth of a second — the eruption gave off as much energy as the Sun does in a quarter of a million years.
Oh, and did I mention this magnetar is 50,000 light years away? No? That's 500 quadrillion kilometers (300
quadrillion miles) away, about halfway across the freaking Milky Way galaxy itself!
Comment: The whole solar system was ringing like a bell,
not just Earth's magnetic field! Despite the widespread beliefs, it is quite apparent that when we are
told that we are entering a new Age dominated by space or the ether, very few took this literally, but as we are now
experiencing Extreme Space Weather, it seems that this Magnetar is just one of many blasts now taking place. Well, I don't
know if Phil Plait is exagerating here, but this is the biggest estimate of this energetic blast that I have seen anywhere. By
the way, he also does not want you to know about astronomers who were convinced that we were hit by a gravity wave
that arrived at the speed of light and caused the December 2004 Tsunami, just 44.6 hours before the gamma ray energy
arrived. Plait's job is to debunk, but he has already admitted that maybe we should be a *little* bit afraid.... See Joyfire Extreme Space
Voyager Makes an
NASA News, 23rd December 2009
The solar system is passing through an interstellar cloud that physics says should not exist. In the Dec. 24th issue
of Nature, a team of scientists reveal how NASA's Voyager spacecraft have solved the mystery.
The discovery has implications for the future when the solar system will eventually bump into other, similar clouds
in our arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
"Using data from Voyager, we have discovered a strong magnetic field just outside the solar system," explains lead author
Merav Opher, a NASA Heliophysics Guest Investigator from George Mason University. "This magnetic field holds the
interstellar cloud together and solves the long-standing puzzle of how it can exist at all."
An artist's concept of the Local Interstellar Cloud, also known as the "Local Fluff."
Credit: Linda Huff (American Scientist) and Priscilla Frisch (University of Chicago)
The fact that the Fluff is strongly magnetized means that other clouds in the galactic neighborhood could be, too.
Eventually, the solar system will run into some of them, and their strong magnetic fields could compress the heliosphere
even more than it is compressed now. Additional compression could allow more cosmic rays to reach the inner
solar system, possibly affecting terrestrial climate and the ability of astronauts to travel safely through space. On
the other hand, astronauts wouldn't have to travel so far because interstellar space would be closer than ever. These events
would play out on time scales of tens to hundreds of thousands of years, which is how long it takes for the solar system to
move from one cloud to the next.
"There could be interesting times ahead!" says Opher.
Comment:This is another major Space Weather related announcement about the potential threat of
massive changes to the current status of our solar system and NASA decides to give it minimum publicity by releasing it 2
days before Christmas when the maximum number of people are distracted. By the way, it's one of these bits of 'fluff' that
astrophysicists have already stated on record they are concermed may vapourise the heliosphere. Remember, this 'fluff' is
coming our way, it has not hit us yet....
Note: What NASA are saying, is that if this cloud does not get us, then there are others coming our way that
might. If you don't like the analysis, I suggest you go find the research papers where this is discussed. To all you New
Agers out there that have been duped by the 2012 Cosmic Fairy Tale folk, you can continue believing in the Father Sun
having a union with the Cosmic Mother if you like, but there seems to be other more serious cosmic scenarios lining up....
The probability of our planet experiencing a deluge of cosmic radiation is becoming more and more likely.
Note 2: I should have also mentioned that the time scale of tens to hundreds of thousands of years cannot be
believed. Sorry, but if you want to know the facts, you will have to do your own research, but current research papers
prove that we cannot measure distances in space properly at all.
Update 1st January 2010
One of my tasks is to integrate knowledge and truth to teach others. Certain knowledge and truth has been given to
mankind over many centuries that has been disguised in religious, esoteric and mythological overtones. However, the
information should be considered as 'spiritual' in how it relates to our existence in a 'spiritual' universe. After extensive
research, it is very apparent that certain truths that have been given to mankind, but some have been excluded or obscured
by the most powerful. Remember, knowledge is power, so this knowledge is often only available to the priviledged few,
and we can't expect the most corrupted and powerful to tell the whole truth as they know it. Now, there are a few faithful
sources that have tried to retain ancient knowledge and pass that onto the world, and I believe that the Mayan Elders need
to be honoured for this as they have faithfully retained certain information as their role as Timekeepers and Seers, others
less well known have also done the same. In my own personal constant search for truth, I believe that this press release
can now be directly connected with prophecies, Mayan predictions and the onset of a major Space Weather event. Thus,
my understanding of the need to strengthen our personal energy fields, via spiritual evolution to act as a shield, still stands.
Scientists observe super-massive black holes using Keck Observatory in Hawaii
Eureka Alert, 11th December 2009
An international team of scientists has observed four super-massive black holes at the center of galaxies, which may provide new information on how these central black hole systems operate. Their findings are published in December's first issue of the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics.
These super-massive black holes at the center of galaxies are called active galactic nuclei. For the first time, the team observed a quasar with an active galactic nucleus, as part of the group of four, which is located more than a billion light years from Earth. The scientists used the two Keck telescopes on top of Mauna Kea in Hawaii. These are the largest optical/infrared telescopes in the world.
The team also used the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) to follow up the Keck observations, to obtain current near-infrared images of the target galaxies.
"Astronomers have been trying to see directly what exactly is going on in the vicinity of these accreting super-massive black holes," said co-author Robert Antonucci, a UC Santa Barbara astrophysicist.
He explained that the nuclei of many galaxies show intense radiation from X-ray to optical, infrared, and radio, where the nucleus may exhibit a strong jet –– a linear feature carrying particles and magnetic energy out from a central super-massive black hole.
Scientists believe these active nuclei are powered by accreting super-massive black holes. The accreting gas and dust are especially bright in the optical and infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Comment: Wouldn't it be better if scientists drop the stupid concept of black holes? The only reason they can see something, is because energy is pouring out into space in HUGE quantities!!!! Many scientists don't believe in black holes and suggest that they are dubious mathematical constructs. Yet, even in our own galaxy, scientists are so embarrassed that they pretend that Saggitarius A* is a black hole when in fact it is a region of space filled with young and old stars. There is a massive object red supergiants IRS7, right next to something they think is a black hole but it is fairly inncoculous and defies all the beliefs about black holes. See The Galactic Center -- Nucleus of the Milky Way, The popular idea of a 'Black hole' is a scientific myth.
December 27, 2004: The Day Earth Survived the Greatest Stellar Attack -Ever
Daily Galaxy, 10th December 2009
It came suddenly from the distant reaches of the Constellation Sagittarius, some 50,000 light years away.
For a brief instant, a couple of tenths of a second, on December 27, 2004 an invisible burst of energy the equivalent of half
a million years of sunlight shone on Earth. Many orbiting satellites electronics were zapped and the Earth's upper
atmosphere was amazingly ionized from a massive hit of gamma ray energy.
The source of the invisible attack was a rare magnetar SGR 1806-20 on the other side of the Milky Way. These
soft gamma ray repeaters, SGRs, occur when twisted magnetic fields attempt to re-align themselves and crack the
magetar's crust releasing the awesome burst or pulse of energy with a death-zone of a few light years. Magnetars have
magnetic fields 1000 times those of ordinary pulsars -so powerful as to be lethal at a distance of 1000 kilometers.
Comment: I'm I am starting to wonder now.... We have the spectacular light phenomenon event in
Norway and there is now a preponderance of articles related to extreme cosmic objects and events. Hmmmm....
This is a November 2005, Sky and Telescope article talking about this Magnetar blast Powerful Magnetar Blast
from Another Galaxy , but at the time, scientists thought it was a Gamma Ray Burst (GRB) and many tried to
dismiss the obvious link between the Asian Tsunami which occurred approx. 44 hours earlier. See the opinion of
respected alternative astrophysicist Dr. Paul LaViolette, Was the December 26, 2004 Indonesian Earthquake and Tsunami Caused by a Stellar Explosion
26,000 Light Years Away?, (note the disparity between the estimates of distance, as scientists have admitted they
can only guesstimate). He discusses the ccurence of a Superluminal Gravity wave, but we now know for a fact that some
some form of energy described as "radiation" from Magnetars arrives first and then the Gamma rays arrive afterwards....
Whatever, at the time scientists did not know what had hit us and there was long silence from the astronomical community
that went on for months and months. For a very long time most believe that we had been hit by a GRB, but now we know
it was Magnetar SGR 1806-20 that was first discovered in 1979, believe me, that's far worse. Well, this article does not
mention the recent Magnetar events in 2008 and 2009 and due to the extreme nature of these objects, it it no wonder that
the Obama Administration tried to get some sense out of the metaphysical community about "Planetary challenges" and the
implications for evolutionary change. However, the effort to find out what was going on, was apparently, to no avail.....

Fermi Sees Brightest-Ever Blazar Flare
Innovations Report, 10th December 2009
A galaxy located billions of light-years away is commanding the attention of NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space
Telescope and astronomers around the globe. Thanks to a series of flares that began September 15, the galaxy is now
the brightest source in the gamma-ray sky -- more than ten times brighter than it was in the summer.
Astronomers identify the object as 3C 454.3, an active galaxy located 7.2 billion light-years away in the constellation
Pegasus. But even among active galaxies, it's exceptional.
"We're looking right down the barrel of a particle jet powered by the galaxy's supermassive black hole," said Gino Tosti at
the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Perugia, Italy. "Some change within that jet -- we don't know what -- is likely
responsible for these flares."
Blazars, like many active
galaxies, emit oppositely directed jets of particles traveling near the speed of light when matter falls toward their central
supermassive black holes. What makes a blazar so bright in gamma rays is its orientation: One of the jets happens
to be aimed straight at us.
Comment: Hmmm... Yes, there seems to be a lot of cosmic objects targetting their energy towards
Earth, according to astronomers over recent years, but the vast majority have no idea that cosmic forces are orchestrating
a massive energetic upgrade of Mother Earth.
Saturn's Mysterious Hexagon Emerges from Winter Darkness
Science Daily, 10th December 2009
After waiting years for the sun to illuminate Saturn's north pole again, cameras aboard NASA's Cassini spacecraft have captured the most detailed images yet of the intriguing hexagon shape crowning the planet.
The new images of the hexagon, whose shape is the path of a jet stream flowing around the north pole, reveal concentric circles, curlicues, walls and streamers not seen in previous images.
The gas giant Saturn hosts one of the best examples of a spinning body demonstrating geometry. This hyperdimensional feature was noted as part of the brilliant research of Richard Hoagland and David Wilcock on our current solar system transformation and published online in 2004. The following link, is Hoagland being interviewed by Coast to Coast radio in April 2007 talking about Saturn's Hexagon at it's poles, that has perplexed conventional scientists, who do not take theories of the aether seriously. Hubble's New View of the Universe (VIDEO)
Daily Galaxy, 9th December 2009
The new Wide Field Camera 3 aboard the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has taken the deepest image yet of the Universe in near-infrared light. The faintest and reddest objects in the image are likely the oldest galaxies ever identified, having formed between only 600–900 million years after the Big Bang. The image shows thousands of galaxies, some more than 12 billion years old. The field view of this image would fit behind a grain of sand held at arm's length against the sky. Almost every dot in this photo is an entire galaxy of stars and who knows what fascinating undiscovered mysteries.
Comment: Watch the Video! [4:17] Now, just think.... some people still believe that we are the only form of life in our universe. The thought is just absolutely ridiculous!
The "METI (Message Extra-Terrestrial Intelligences) Debate - A Weekend Classic
Daily Galaxy, 6th December 2009
Efforts to Search for and Message Extra Terrestrial Intelligences (SETI and METI) have met with a lot of opposition.
Some say that there's no life out there, possibly because they view the universe as only slightly larger than the Earth with some twinkly bits at the edges, and some say that if there is we shouldn't let it know we're here, because every science fiction ever has painted them as acid-blooded blade-things who live only to pick us off one by one for sport.
Another objection to these efforts is the financial cost, which is ridiculous. We've reached the point where Doritos - makers of insanely flavored corn-chips - can afford to hire the EISCAT Space Center to beam adverts at Ursae Majoris. When snack-food makers can pay off our space research centers, we have way worse cost and capitalism problems than the relatively inexpensive search for life.
To put it in perspective: SETI's budget last year was about two million dollars, and Doritos will spend five on three ads to run during next year's Superbowl. So while one group searches for intelligent life in the stars, the other takes advantage of how there's none down here.
Comment: LOL! The article is hilarious, but seriously, how many different programs are there to make contact with extra-terrestrial life? Yet, the orbs are communicating via crop circles and other similar manifestations in ice etc but I suppose this does not help in the job creation stakes. Why we shouldn't release all we know about the cosmos
New Scientist, 3rd December 2009
COSMOLOGISTS are doing the happy dance. The European Space Agency's Planck mission is busy surveying the cosmic microwave background, aka the "echo" of the big bang, and in 2013 will release a feast of data that promises to deliver profound new insights into the origin of the universe.
Surely a victory for science? Only, it seems, if cosmologists can resist the temptation to gorge themselves on all those goodies.
A trio of astronomers have warned that, unless we use the information sparingly, we risk squandering a once-in-eternity opportunity (see arxiv.org/abs/0909.2649). If the whole data set is released at once, as is planned, any new ideas that cosmologists come up with may have to remain untested because they will have no further data to test them with.
Comment: The logic here is just very strange, especially as we are in the midst of a major scientific scandal where hiding data has been highlighted as being unscientific. There must be a story behind this story and I suggest it is because things have not gone as expected..... We await more clarification here....
ESA spacecraft may help unravel cosmic mystery
ESA News, 12th November 2009
When Europe's comet chaser Rosetta swings by Earth tomorrow for a critical gravity assist, tracking data will be collected to precisely measure the satellite's change in orbital energy. The results could help unravel a cosmic mystery that has stumped scientists for two decades.
Since 1990, scientists and mission controllers at ESA and NASA have noticed that their spacecraft sometimes experience a strange variation in the amount of orbital energy they exchange with Earth during planetary swingbys. The unexplained variation is noticed as a tiny difference in speed gained or lost during the swingby when comparing that predicted by fundamental physics and that actually measured after the event.
Comment: What is interesting, is what known forces scientists admit that they don't fully understand, which forces that they believe exist but don't know enough about and other forces that they refuse to acknowledge even exist. It reminds me of the famous Rumsfeld quote:
"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."
Mutant Diseases May Cripple Missions to Mars, Beyond
National Geopgraphic News, 4th November 2009
Mutant hitchhikers may become a major hurdle in the quest to send humans deeper into the galaxy, scientists say.
That's because no matter how fit astronauts feel at liftoff, they're likely to be carrying disease-causing microbes such as
toxic E. coli and Staphylococcus strains. Charged particles zipping through space, known as cosmic rays, can mutate the
otherwise manageable microbes, spurring the bugs to reproduce quicker and become more virulent, recent studies show.
At the same time, exposure to cosmic rays and the stresses of long-term weightlessness can dampen the human immune
system, encouraging diseases to take hold. [...]
On Earth humans are protected from the effects of cosmic rays, because most of the particles are deflected by the
planet's magnetic field.
Comment: It just amazes me as we are quickly losing the shielding around our solar system and the
Earth's magnetic field is now unstable and periodically cracks wide open that commentators keep talking about the
problem of astronauts in the highly radioactive environment of space. As NASA have pointed out, our planet is being
flooded with cosmic radiation and we risk being completely exposed. Hence, due to the rapidly changing conditions on
Earth, I coined the phrase in my book, "We are all astronauts now!" Our planet is under a constant massive energetic
bombardment from cosmic sources to "upgrade" our planet. On 21/22 January 2009, the planet was blasted by gamma-ray
repeater SGR J1550-5418, the following YouTube clip was added by someone diligently watching what was happening to
the magnetosphere, which is the Earth's first defence against space weather. See YouTube [0:10] clip, Magnetosphere blast 21-22 January
At the same time, we experienced a Sudden Stratospheric Warming (SSW) event where the temperature in the stratosphere
rose 40-50 degrees centigrade (depends on source), at the time people could not understand what had happened because
the sun was quiet, but this was the fallout from a magnetar that NASA scientists describe as "a solar flare on steroids". In
1/10 of a second, this type of a neutron star, or magnetar can release as much energy as the Sun would in 100,000 years. I
wrote my book in 2006, to explain that Earth was under heavy bombardment and since then, things have only got worse as
predicted. Meanwhile, people are focusing on a the cosmic fairy tale of Father Sun having a union with the Cosmic Mother

Space hotel says it's on schedule to open in 2012
Reuters, 2nd November 2009
BARCELONA (Reuters) - A company behind plans to open the first hotel in space says it is on target to accept its first paying guests in 2012 despite critics questioning the investment and time frame for the multi-billion dollar project.
The Barcelona-based architects of The Galactic Suite Space Resort say it will cost 3 million euro ($4.4 million) for a three-night stay at the hotel, with this price including an eight-week training course on a tropical island.
During their stay, guests would see the sun rise 15 times a day and travel around the world every 80 minutes. They would wear velcro suits so they can crawl around their pod rooms by sticking themselves to the walls like Spiderman."
Comment: If you go to the website www.galacticsuite.com, it describes this as, "The most thrilling and transcendental experience ever." Hmm...Well, I have to say there have been reports about these space hotels for years, but since scientists are having such trouble dealing with Space Weather and turbulence in the magnetosphere besides all the other issues that make living in space decidely fruity, I am not sure they are the best place to be if Space Weather steps up a gear as we have been warned will occur.
Do Jupiter's Red Storms Signal Massive Climate Change?
Daily Galaxy, 28th October 2009
"The Hubble Space Telescope and Keck Observatory images may support the idea that Jupiter is in the midst of violent global climate change.
Marcus predicted that large changes would start in the southern hemisphere around 2006, causing the jet streams to become unstable and spawn new vortices as has been proven out by the emergence of new swirling red storms."
Comment: The issue with the conclusion that we are witnessing a solar system transformation is that we don't have hundreds of years of observations about a range of parameters because we have only recently had sophisticated telescopes and space probes taking measurements. However, astronomers have been watching Jupiter which is the biggest planet (unlit star) in our solar system and there seems to be no serious challenges to the assertion that it is undergoing "violent climate change". The conclusion that many theorists, who take an integrated approach, is that the many changes being seen in ALL the planets are due to a new relationship between aetheric forces that infuences the generation of climatic features that we can observe.
Monster supernovae may explain galaxy's mystery haze
New Scientist News, 27th October 2009
copy: "WHAT is causing a mysterious "haze" of radiation at the centre of the Milky Way? It may be a load of monster supernovae kicking out radiation which is then amplified by magnetic stellar winds and turbulence near the galaxy's core.
In 2003, the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe found a patch of particularly energetic microwave radiation in the centre of our galaxy - dubbed the "WMAP haze". It was proposed that this could be caused by collisions of a new type of dark-matter particle.
Instead, the signal could be produced by amplified cosmic rays generated when particularly large stars explode, says Peter Biermann of the Max Planck Institute for Radioastronomy in Bonn, Germany, and colleagues.
The centre of our galaxy has a high number of massive stars compared with elsewhere. These stars are surrounded by particularly strong magnetic stellar winds. At the star's polar regions, the wind's magnetic field is parallel to the direction of travel of any escaping cosmic rays kicked out by the supernova. This configuration - plus the particularly high turbulence in the galactic centre caused by the high concentration of stars - may be increasing the energy of the cosmic rays, says the team. They have submitted the paper to The Astrophysical Journal.
Dan Hooper at the University of Chicago points out that while it's prudent to consider scenarios other than dark matter as a cause, very little is known about the inner region of our galaxy and the magnetic fields there."
Comment: A monster explosion at the centre of our galaxy, now that's interesting! This article is interesting and tells us that there is a possibility that one of the massive stars in the compact region called Saggitarius A*, which represents the centre of our Milky Way galaxy, may have exploded and energized matter to account for a measurement of higher energy galactic cosmic rays. Quite frankly, I think this is major news.
Electric Sun Verified
Holoscience, 20th October 2009
"NASA's IBEX (Interstellar Boundary Explorer) spacecraft has made the first all-sky maps of the boundary between the Sun's environment (the heliosphere), and interstellar space. The results, reported as a bright, winding ribbon of unknown origin which bisects the maps, have taken researchers by surprise. However, the discovery fits the electric model of stars perfectly."
Comment: It's no surprise that Wal Thornhill has responded with this article about the news of the boundary between the Sun's environment and interstellar space generating some massive surprises. The quote I like is "...but the ribbon is ...a narrow band blazing across the sky like some Milky Way on fire". Now scientists are telling us that the heliosheath is dominated not by the Sun, but by the Galaxy's magnetic field, which I have already stated is of great interest. Here, Wal Thornhill has boldly made predictions of what will be found inside this ribbon, I look forward to them being verified. For a clearer picture of this ribbon, I recommend the 1st image at Physorg, but the description of the heliosphere being like a slippery ball and the ribbon as smokey is very strange. In fact, the second image looks like an attempt to salvage the old model which is now basically dead, but these scientists are trying to keep it alive by mixing up imagery and out of date terminology. Astrophysics and cosmology are terrible areas of science to understand, because there is a lot of entrenched ideas. This is most evident where scientists have become very specialised and refuse to acknowledge that the science has moved on.
THAT GALACTIC MAGNETIC FIELDS MAY CONTROL THE BOUNDARIES OF OUR SOLAR
Boston University, 15th October 2009
"Boston) – The first all-sky maps developed by NASA's Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) spacecraft, the initial
mission to examine the global interactions occurring at the edge of the solar system, suggest that the galactic magnetic
fields had a far greater impact on Earth's history than previously conceived, and the future of our planet and others may
depend, in part, on how the galactic magnetic fields change with time. [...]
The magnetic fields of our galaxy may change the protective layers of our solar system that regulate the entry of
galactic radiation, which affects Earth and poses hazards to astronauts, says Nathan Schwadron of Boston
University's Center for Space Physics and the lead for the IBEX Science Operations Center at BU.
Comment: "The future of our planet and others may depend,
in part, on how the galactic magnetic fields change with time." I think this is some major news that
can be added to the other extraordinary news about the changing conditions for life on this planet. There are different
press releases about this discovery, but the one here from Boston University is quite clear. Since it is already understood
that we are currently receiving energy from galactic sources and scientists now talk about the Galactic wind, it is
interesting that we have been told clearly that there is drift of neutral atoms from a galactic source. This is a piece of
significant information if you are familiar with metaphysical literature that suggests we receive periodic downloads of
neutral energies. The discussion of the ribbon here has caused the Electric Universe theorist to say, well of course, we told
you, but personally, I am puzzled by the discussion of neutral atoms that make up this feature. However, since nobody
seems to have predicted it and we are told that the ribbon is being controlled by the galactic magnetic field, this is rather an
esoteric object, and in metaphysical terms we can describe it as a mysterious 'serpent'.

Astronomers clash with US air force over laser rules
New Scientist, 13th October 2009
Could astronomers accidentally blind Earth-observing satellites? That seems to be the worry of the US air force, which restricts the use of lasers pointed at the sky to help focus telescopes. But some astronomers warn they will miss key observations under the rules, which have tightened in recent years.
Many of the world's largest observatories, including Lick, Gemini North, Palomar and Keck in the US, shine lasers into the sky to measure atmospheric turbulence, which distorts images. The laser causes a layer of sodium atoms at an altitude of about 90 kilometres to glow, producing an artificial star whose twinkles reveal the turbulence. Shape-shifting mirrors on the telescopes, called adaptive optics, then correct for the blurring by adjusting their shape many times per second.
If such a laser were to hit the optics of an Earth-observing satellite, it could cause damage. So the air force's Space Command has for years restricted when and where US observatories can fire them, and the observatories have voluntarily complied, with little impact on astronomy. Then about two years ago, just as kinks in the laser technology were being ironed out and interest in the lasers was growing, the rules were tightened. Now astronomers say the restrictions are beginning to chafe, according to a story first reported by the American Physical Society.
Comment: Well, its interesting that this is yet another clash between scientists and the military in the US, the previous clash was over satellite fireball data. In the comments here, people are wondering about lasers used by other countries that cannot be controlled by USAF. The point about astronomers getting fed up with restrictions and moving observatories is also valid and has already happened with private space ventures.
Nasa Moon bombing: analysis
The Telegraph, 9th October 2009
"Nasa has crashed two unmanned spacecraft into the Moon - as part of its LCROSS 'bombing' mission - in a bid to discover how much water is on the Moon. But little was seen by millions of viewers watching the live footage.
There may have been much backslapping and jubilation at Nasa mission control but millions of people watching it live on the internet must have felt slightly short changed.
"The much anticipated 'bombing' of the Moon to find water did not even muster a whimper far less a bang. Great television it was not. Apart from the Moon and its craters getting slowly bigger, and the occasional radio exchange between control room staff, nothing happened. Where was the much anticipated explosion? Where was the splash of ice and water? Where was the 6.2 mile high spray of lunar dust? If we hadn't been told the two spacecraft had crashed landed, we would never have known. "
Comment: Oh dear! You can compare the actual impact on video embedded with this report with the anticipated animation version on YouTube, see Big moon boom! US bombs lunar surface
and you can see why there was major disappointment. I am sure there will be lots of comment on the blogs and the conspiracy theorists will be very happy to apply their imagination to explain what seems like another NASA failure. Nice headline: Cloud of confusion over success of Nasa moon 'bombing'.
Project Camelot interviews Dr Paul LaViolette
YouTube, October 2009
Comment: I was actually sent this link by Dr. Paul LaViolette who I have been in correspondence with and I wrote about his
superwave theory in my book. I consider him to be a world class astrophysicist and alternative thinker. Unfortunately, this
interview is a first class example of how the rumour factory works.
Here, Project Camelot interviewers start off this interview with an effort to sensationalize Paul LaViolette's interview by his
reponse to a question on 'Black Projects'. We are told that a mysterious person has whispered into their ear that a
Superwave is on its way, which of course, was totally unsubstantiated information, but given in order to ferment rumour
and disinformation. I tried hard to deal with my irritation with the Camelot interviewers who at times, asked completely
stupid questions and seemed to keep trying to get Paul LaViolette to agree that something was on its way. At times, Paul is
interupted whilst making an explanation with questions that were out of context and/or even irrelevant. One example
occurred when he was trying to explain Superwaves and climatic influences [45:00], but he was interupted [52:00] with a
question about pole shifts and crustal displacements. Another happened when he was talking about the evidence of a
magnetic pole shift being caused by a massive Coronal Mass Ejection, the female interviewer stated, "so you are saying
that the sinking of Atlantis was resulted from that?" Paul LaViolette was very calm in his response to this display of
The interview at times was truly cringeworthy and I think the worst point was when Paul LaViolette was talking about
finding traces of gold in an ice-core and the woman asked if it was mineable and starting talking about Zecharia Sitchin and
the Anunnaki....terrible. The saying is that a little knowlege is a dangerous thing.... I will admit I gave up at [01:36:00]
because it had got unbearable and you could see that interviewers were frustrated that they not getting what they wanted.
Personally, I wished that Paul LaViolette had been filmed doing a lecture for the general public instead with some good
camera work, which was lacking here. The most important aspect of Paul LaViolette's work is that he is a top class
scientist who understands Space Weather, but has is own alternative ideas that can actually be substantiated with hard
New Gigantic, Glowing Saturn Ring Discovered
Gizmodo.com, 7th October 2009
"See that tiny dot in the middle of that ring? That's Saturn. And the newly-discovered glowing ring is 13.4 million miles in diameter. The proverbial 800-pound gorilla has been discovered by the Spitzer Space Telescope, leaving every single astronomer speechless.
The ring hasn't been discovered till now because it's so diffuse that it reflects very little sunlight. That makes it undetectable by optical telescopes. The particles in it, however, glow with heat radiation, which was captured by the Spitzer's infrared instruments. This image is an artist representation of what Spitzer's discovered, showing us, once again, that we are still bloody clueless when it comes to almost everything around us. I can't wait to see the actual image."
Comment: My sentiments exactly. This is the NASA press release, Spitzer Discovers Saturn's Largest Ring
Galaxy study hints at cracks in dark matter theories
New Scientist News, 30th September 2009
"Dark matter is either weirder than we thought or does not exist at all, a new study suggests.
A galaxy is supposed to sit at the heart of a giant cloud of dark matter and interact with it through gravity alone. The dark matter originally provided enough attraction for the galaxy to form and now keeps it rotating. But observations are not bearing out this simple picture.
Since dark matter does not radiate light, astronomers infer its distribution by looking at how a galaxy's gas and stars are moving. Previous studies have suggested that dark matter must be uniformly distributed within a galaxy's central region – a confounding result since the dark matter's gravity should make it progressively denser towards a galaxy's centre."
Comment: Well, the Electric Universe proponents are going to love this. This short article reveals just how much astrophysicists and cosmologists are struggling to understand how the universe works. The greatest problem that these scientists have is that they have enforced a very rigid set of beliefs, a foundation that now looks very shaky. Dismantling one of the central tenets ie the notion that the Newtonian Laws of gravity are wrong or need modifying in some way, is very disturbing to some. It is obvious, that the creation of more and more invisible and dare I say it, esoteric concepts, to explain the universe, can be compared to the historical creation of religions based on the rudimentary understanding of men, which lacks a deep understanding of divine laws and thus the true nature of our reality. This is an appropriate quote: 'The history of cosmology is the history of us being completely wrong'

SPACE WEATHER ON MERCURY:
Spaceweather.com, 29th September 2009
SPACE WEATHER ON MERCURY: Today, NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft is going to fly by Mercury only 142 miles from the planet's surface. Naturally, much attention will be given to pictures of new craters and previously unseen terrain, but there is another, equally sensational reason for the flyby--namely, to investigate Mercury's hyperactive space weather:
Mercury's magnetic field is buffeted by solar wind as much as fifteen times stronger than the solar wind we experience at Earth.
During an earlier flyby of Mercury in Oct. 2008, MESSENGER encountered magnetic "tornadoes" – twisted bundles of magnetic fields connecting Mercury to interplanetary space. The twisters are formed by explosive magnetic reconnection events at the solar wind-magnetic field boundary. Solar wind can actually flow down the throats of these tornadoes to strike and erode the surface of Mercury, giving Mercury a comet-like tail.
MESSENGER will fly right through this maelstrom of magnetism and solar wind en route to buzzing Mercury's surface. Stay tuned for da
Comment: We have more confirmation of the Electric Universe and Birkeland currents in space, the correct terminology that plasma physicists use, rather than the magnetic "tornadoes", but this description does help people visualise the nature of these magnetic field lines.
By the way, plasma physicists don't believe in magnetic reconnection, as this theory is not supported by laboratory plasma observations. See the book, The Electric Sky by Prof. Don Scott, who makes the point about Langrange points in space not exploding periodically, LOL! Also, Space Probe Soon to Study Mercury's Comet-Like Tail
Galactic Center: New Vista of Milky Way Center Unveiled
Chandra Observatory News, 22nd September 2009
"A dramatic new vista of the center of the Milky Way galaxy from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory exposes new levels of the complexity and intrigue in the Galactic center. The mosaic of 88 Chandra pointings represents a freeze-frame of the spectacle of stellar evolution, from bright young stars to black holes, in a crowded, hostile environment dominated by a central, supermassive black hole. Permeating the region is a diffuse haze of X-ray light from gas that has been heated to millions of degrees by winds from massive young stars - which appear to form more frequently here than elsewhere in the Galaxy - explosions of dying stars, and outflows powered by the supermassive black hole - known as Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*). Data from Chandra and other X-ray telescopes suggest that giant X-ray flares from this black hole occurred about 50 and about 300 years earlier."
Comment: Lots of new images and video animations of the Galactic Centre, but this article is written for people who have no idea what is going on in the centre of our galaxy. Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*) is a compact region of space that is full of enigmas and if there is a black hole, it is virtually invisible and inert. See, 2012, Galactic Cosmology & A New World Age
Cassini Reveals New Quirks And Shadows During Saturn Equinox
Saturn Daily, 22nd September 2009
NASA scientists are marveling over the extent of ruffles and dust clouds revealed in the rings of Saturn during the planet's equinox last month. Scientists once thought the rings were almost completely flat, but new images reveal the heights of some newly discovered bumps in the rings are as high as the Rocky Mountains. NASA released the images Monday.
"We thought the plane of the rings was no taller than two stories of a modern-day building and instead we've come across walls more than 2 miles [3 kilometers] high," said Carolyn Porco, Cassini imaging team leader at the Space Science Institute in Boulder, Colo.
"Isn't that the most outrageous thing you could imagine? It truly is like something out of science fiction."
Comment: It must be understood that when it comes to understanding the universe, scientists are have a lot of ideas, some of which are completely wrong. Here, scientists are shocked because ohjects the size of the Rocky Mountains are held in orbit as part of Saturns ring structure, something they will admit after of decades of research they still don't fully understand. However, if we listen to plasma physicists, they tells us that the electromagnetic force, determined by the mass to charge ratio for sub-atomic particles e.g. the repulsive force between two protons, is 36 orders of magnetitude (1036) larger than the force of gravitational attraction and the repulsive force between two electrons is 42 orders of magnetitude (1042) larger than the force of gravitational attraction. Hence, we have to accept that the Electromagnetic Force rules the visible Universe which is 99.999% plasma. So, dispite the massive size of some of these structures, forces other than gravity are operating.
Highway in the sky: The gravitational corridors that could help spacecraft travel the solar system
Daily Mail, 11th September 2009
"Gravitational corridors could help spacecraft fly across the solar system like ships on ocean currents, it was revealed today. Scientists in the United States are trying to map the twisting 'tubes' so they can be used to cut the cost of space travel. Each one acts like a gravitational Gulf Stream, created from the complex interplay of attractive forces between planets and moons. Depicted by computer graphics, the pathways look like strands of spaghetti that wrap around planetary bodies and snake between them."
Comment: I mentioned these celestial superhighways in my book, as it helped to confirm metaphysical sources that claimed the existence of the 'Cosmic Lattice', described as — "a vast area of strings connected to strings" — that connects EVERYTHING in our universe. What's more we are told that entities, "ride the strings".
Too much radiation for astronauts to make it to Mars
New Scientist News, 16th September 2009
"FORGET the risk of exploding rockets or getting sideswiped by a wayward bit of space junk. Radiation may be the
biggest hurdle to human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit and could put a damper on a recently proposed mission to
Comment: There is a major problem in that the general populace and what is far worst, the
metaphysical community, do not realise that as we enter a New cosmic Age our planet is being flooded with cosmic
radiation. Cosmic rays are already at record highs, but popular metaphysical leaders do not teach how the human energy
field relates to spiritual evolution. On 3rd November 2006, Neil Armstrong was given a copy of my book at a rare 1-day
seminar where he stated [paraphrased] that when he went to the moon, they did not known anything about Space Weather,
but now things have completely changed. Mayan prophecy has now been fulfilled, but the question is: just how many
people realise that universal forces will be interrogating every living thing on this planet to see if it is fit enough for a new
world? Scientists have already worked out that a magnetic field generated by plasma is the best way to keep a spacecraft
safe from the radiation of outerspace, but in metaphysical terms that energy shell is called a Merkabah and when we
spiritually evolve then it gets strengthened. As the 2012 Mayan end-date whoopla goes into full swing, I just hope that a
few sober folk will contemplate what the future will be like living under a constant cosmic radiation deluge.
Thunderbolts, 11th September 2009
The Chandra X-ray Telescope has puzzled astronomers with the discovery of abnormally high temperatures at the core of the Milky Way.
A news release announcing this image of the center of the Milky Way stated that the x-ray spectrum of the gases is consistent with a cloud of "hot gas" that varies from 10 million degrees Celsius to as much as 100 million degrees. This result was unexpected and difficult to explain.
According to consensus opinions, shock waves from supernova explosions are the most likely explanation for heating the 10 million degree gas, but no one can explain how the 100 million degree gas is heated. "Ordinary" supernova explosions are not sufficiently powerful, and heating by high-energy particles produces the wrong x-ray spectrum.
Another Chandra image of the star cluster Trumpler 14 shows about 1600 stars and a diffuse glow from hot multimillion degree x-ray producing gas. Any material that has a temperature of millions of degrees is not a gas—it is a plasma.
Comment: Well, I had a great time reading The Book of the Damned by Charles Fort. The book is full of satirical wit directed at scientists who refuse to consider anomalies as part of a wider understanding of reality. The reader is introduced to this concept by the very simple analogy of scientists defining things as being red or yellow and anything that is orange is ignored or simply explained away as being mistaken for red or yellow. This mentality, can now be defined as a 'Fortean' obsfucation and there are plenty of examples in the book. It seems that Fort was most disgusted by the explanation of a fall of fish, that covered a "considerable distance", but was explained away by Dr Gray of the British museum, as employees playfully throwing a pail of fish. Hence, you can see why Fort developed a cult following that still exists today in the form of the Fortean Society. It is apparent that people realise that something is amiss, when members of the scientific community are determined to maintain an orthodox and incredulous view of our reality. So, when it came to an anomalous sighting seen by an astronomer that was refused publication, Fort takes aim and fires. This is what he wrote:
"Eddie reported a celestial object, from the Observatory at Grahamstown, South Africa. It was in 1890... The thing that Eddie reported might as well have been reported by a night watchman, who had looked up through an unplaced sewer pipe. It did not correlate."
LOL!!!!!! Anyway, here we have more orthodox astronomers "puzzled" by anomalous heating at the centre of our galaxy. Temperatures of 10 million degrees Celsius do not require a supernova explosion, we get those kind of temperatures on our Sun during solar flares. What's more, as I reported in my book, scientists have produced these kind of temperatures in the laboratory using plasmas and a very strong magnetic field. Hence, it gets beyond a joke when it becomes apparent that astronomers need to be trained plasma physicists to fully understand how the universe works. What's more, I have realised that the same goes for the metaphysicians. It is not possible to teach the true nature of our reality and certain spiritual truths without a basic understanding of how the universe works. Why do I say this? Well, after 30 years of seeking truth and enlightenment, my biggest break came when I discovered the Electric/Plasma Universe and I will always be grateful to these scientists, who would not necessarily think of themselves as spirtual.

Thunderbolts.info, 6th September 2009
"Some people in each successive generation believe that theirs is the one that has at last seen everything clearly, that their insights point to the truth, the final answer. Yet scientific discovery marches on and today's truth will become tomorrow's anecdotes. - Gerrit L. Verschuur, Interstellar Matters"
Electricity exists in space. Magnetic fields detected in space can only be generated by electric currents. Radio telescopes routinely map galactic magnetic fields and their field configuration matches that found in plasma cosmology experiments. If science were the advertised open pursuit of truth, we should expect big bang cosmologists to be rushing to the plasma labs. Not a bit of it. They are principally theoretical mathematicians. We strike the artificial modern barrier of specialism."
Comment: Nice quote! Again, this reminds me of the April 2009, Time Magazine's 'Visions of the 21st century', which asked the pertinent question; Will There Be Anything Left To Discover? Is the great era of scientific inquiry over? Have all the big theories been formulated and important discoveries made—leaving future scientists nothing but fine tuning? Or is the real fun about to begin?
After two science writers debated, the final word on the matter was summarised as follows:
"No matter how far science does or doesn't advance, however, there's one wild card in even the most pessimistic scenario. If we encounter extraterrestrial life—and especially life intelligent enough to have developed its own science—then all bets are off."
The visible universe is 99.999% plasma and cosmologists keep encountering objects in space that can only be fully explained by understanding the properties and characteristics of plasma. Therefore, it should be NO surprise that lifeforms have also developed, based on this primordial energy. Some scientists with their more conventional theories are prepared to admit that dark matter worlds could habour dark matter "entities". Even in our very earthly laboratories, scientists have created plasma spheres with all the characterisitics of life. There are even physicists who have developed heretical theories that explain the whole of our universe based on magnetism, which seems to be the key determinant of plasma's behaviour. Here, Wal Thornhill is explaining why people are trying to overturn the conventional wisdom with an Electric Revolution. Simply, a flow of charged particles ie plasma is know conventionally as an electric current, but that just represents the flow of basic raw material. Evolutionary developments over billions of years for plasma energy that is characterised as being "life-like" has not even been seriously considered. Well, it looks like the Plasma Universe is arriving on our doorstep and making itself very obvious, so that even the most obtuse will be forced to reevaluate the nature of our reality. Soon all bets will be off!
Japan Wants to Power 300,000 Homes With Wireless Energy From Space
Popular Science, 2nd September 2009
"Japan has serious plans to send a solar-panel-equipped satellite into space that could wirelessly beam a gigawatt-strong stream of power down to earth and power nearly 300,000 homes.
The satellite will have a surface area of four square kilometers, and transmit power via microwave to a base station on Earth. Putting solar panels in space bypasses many of the difficulties of installing them on Earth: in orbit, there are no cloudy days, very few zoning laws, and the cold ambient temperature is ideal.
Comment: Hmmm.... According to historical documentation by eco warrier Rosalie Bertell Ph. D, GNSH, this sounds very much like the beginning of the 'Star Wars' program. From my article HAARP: From the perspective of a true Eco Warrior , we find the following short paragraph.
The Beginning of Star Wars
"In 1968 the US military proposed Solar Powered Satellites in geostationary orbit some 40,000 km above the earth, which would intercept and transmit solar radiation back to earth. Although this was proposed as an energy program, it had significant military implications. The SPS was also described as a psychological and anti-personnel weapon, which could be directed toward an enemy. The manned platform of the SPS would provide surveillance and early warning capability, and ELF linkage to submarines. It would also provide the capability of jamming enemy communications. The SPS was also capable of causing physical changes in the ionosphere. This project was considered a very expensive way to produce energy and was shelved, as funding was denied by Congress, even though President Carter approved. Surreptitiously, the project resurfaced in the U.S under President Reagan, when it was given a much larger budget from the Department of Defense and called Star Wars."
Saturn's rings still puzzle scientists
How and when each of the rings formed remains unknown
MSNBC News, 24th August 2009
"Saturn's rings have fascinated scientists ever since Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei first spotted them through one of his telescopes in the 17th century. But just how the icy rings came into being remains a mystery that has only deepened with each new scientific finding.
Astronomers now know that the planet hosts multiple rings that consist of roughly 35 trillion-trillion tons of ice, dust and rock. The Cassini spacecraft and its Voyager predecessors have also spotted changing ring patterns, partially formed ring arcs and even a moon spewing out icy particles to form a new ring. All of this suggests that the rings have constantly evolved over time."
Comment: Somehow the mystery of Saturn's rings reminds me of the following infamous quote:
"Everything that can be invented has been invented." -- Charles H. Duell, U.S., Commissioner of Patents, in 1899.
In April 2009, Time Magazine in the 'Visions of the 21st century', asked the same pertinent question;
Is the great era of scientific inquiry over? Have all the big theories been formulated and important discoveries made—leaving future scientists nothing but fine tuning? Or is the real fun about to begin?
At a fundamental level, it seems that many scientists and thinkers believe that they understand the basics of how the universe works, but because there are so many remaining mysteries, this assertion just cannot be true. I am currently reading the iconaclastic The Book of the Damned written by Charles Hoy Fort and quite frankly, I now realise why in 1979, a UK government minister could stand up in parliament and honestly say, "There really are many strange phenomena in the sky", because it's true! What's more, it will soon become apparent that another non carbon based lifeform exists that is native to Earth and most certainly, that would be a MAJOR discovery.
Will There Be Anything Left To Discover?
Happy Birthday "Radiant Matter" Plasma!
Thunderbolts.info, 17th August 2009
"August 22, 2009 this week will mark the 130th anniversary of the identification of "radiant matter" or "plasma" as the fourth state of matter in 1879, by English scientist, Sir William Crookes, (1832-1919).
Sixty years earlier, Michael Faraday had postulated "radiant matter" as "purely hypothetical". On 17 January 1816, Faraday delivered a series of lectures to the City Philosophical Society, one of which was titled "Radiant Matter".
He wrote: "If now we conceive a change as far beyond vaporisation as that is above fluidity, and then take into account also the proportional increased extent of alteration as the changes rise, we shall perhaps, if we can form any conception at all, not fall far short of radiant matter"
Comment: A wonderful history lesson and no mention of Tesla!
Storm Clouds Found on Saturn's Moon
AOL News, 15th August 2009
"A tropical storm was not what astronomers expected to see when they pointed their telescopes toward the equator of Saturn's moon Titan last summer.
But that's exactly what they found on this beguiling moon, home to a weather system both eerily familiar and perplexingly strange. The discovery was announced Wednesday.
In many ways Titan's climate resembles that of Earth, but instead of a water cycle, Titan has a methane cycle. Clouds, rain and lakes all exist on Titan, but they are all made of methane. In the moon's frigid climate, any water is frozen into rock-hard ice."
Comment: This is more evidence of evolutionary change taking place within our solar system. Last time I checked, there were 138 moons in our solar system, but Titan is noted for being quite Earth-like and here we find evidence of atmospheric processes that have never been seen before.
Space review panel says moon, Mars out of reach
Reuters News, 14th August 2009
"CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (Reuters) - The U.S. plan to return astronauts to the moon by 2020 will not happen without a big boost in NASA's budgety, leaving only the International Space Station as a viable target for the country's human space program, according to a presidential review panel.
The Human Space Flight Plans committee, which presented its preliminary findings to the White House on Friday, concluded that a human mission to Mars currently would be too risky."
Comment: It's surprising that NASA is not taking the opportunity to talk about Space Weather and the new extreme conditions in space to help them explain why going to the moon and Mars is such a problem now. However, it does appear that the Obama Administration view serious space exploration as an occupation that the United States can no longer afford.
Late light reveals what space is made of
New Scientist, 13th August 2009
"MAGIC - the Major Atmospheric Gamma-ray Imaging Cherenkov Telescope - scans the sky each night for high-energy photons from the distant cosmos. Most nights, nothing remarkable comes. But every now and again, a brief flash of energetic light bears witness to the violent convulsions of a faraway galaxy.
What MAGIC saw on that balmy June night came like a bolt from the blue. That is because something truly astounding may have been encoded in that fleeting Atlantic glow: evidence that the fabric of space-time is not silky smooth as Einstein and many others have presumed, but rough, turbulent and fundamentally grainy stuff. [...]
["Quantum foam" – grainy bumps in the fabric of space-time – might explain why light from a distant galaxy arrived four minutes later than expected, offering clues about the real nature of gravity] [...]
"All approaches to quantum gravity, in their own very different ways, agree that empty space is not so empty after all," says theorist Giovanni Amelino-Camelia of Sapienza University of Rome in Italy. Many models based on string theory suggest that space-time is a foamy froth of particles, and even microscopic black holes, that spark up out of nothing and disappear again with equal abandon.
The alternative approach favoured by Amelino-Camelia, loop quantum gravity, posits that space-time comes in indivisible chunks of about 10-35 metres, a size known as the Planck length. According to many string theory models, particles of different energies should speed up or slow down by different amounts as they interact with a foamy space-time. A minimum size for space-time grains, as predicted by loop quantum gravity, could violate the cherished principle of special relativity known as Lorentz invariance, which states that the maximum speed of all particles, regardless of their energy, is the speed of light in a vacuum.
The trouble is that these effects would be observable only with particles far more energetic than even the beefiest terrestrial particle accelerators can produce. Even if we could make these particles, the tiny interactions between them and the fabric of space-time would not add up to a hill of beans, even over many laps of the Large Hadron Collider's 27-kilometre-long loop at CERN, near Geneva, Switzerland.
Summed over hundreds of millions or billions of light years, such interactions could account for the MAGIC travel-time anomaly. It looks like nature might have provided us with particle accelerators - distant galaxies - whose products could, for the first time, allow us to test predictions of quantum gravity against hard experimental evidence."
Comment: Some have described space-time as a knotted blanket which moves! Briefly, what this article is stating is that scientists think that a faraway explosion generated 'anomalies' where some 'slow' energy photons arrived faster than supposedly 'fast' energy photons and it seems that over the distance, the 'slow' photons found a path of less interference and so they could arrive quicker. If this is correct, this means that many cherished ideas, largely related to Einstein's General Relativity about the background fabric of our reality, are wrong but that more modern ideas like Loop Quantum gravity are closer to something plausible. The most important information here is that our scientists are starting to have proof of the existence of the ether that they either tried to ignore for many decades, or like Einstein, disguise the concept and called it spacetime. Other theories, like Dr Harold Aspen's Aether Lattice Theory, have been ignored for over fifty years, but as usual, that does not mean that this theory is wrong, but it's just not in vogue and he could yet be proven correct.
Like the fist of an angry god - Something went through Saturn's rings
Discovery Magazine Blog, 9th August 2009
"Deep in the outer realms of our solar system, well over a billion kilometers away, something bizarre happened at Saturn's F ring. I mean, seriously: what the hell happened here? [...]
It's not exactly clear what's going on here, even in this slightly zoomed shot. But it looks for all the world - or worlds — like some small object on an inclined orbit has punched through Saturn's narrow F ring, bursting out from underneath, and dragging behind it a wake of particles from the rings. The upward-angled structure is definitely real, as witnessed by the shadow it's casting on the ring material to the lower left. And what's with the bright patch right where this object seems to have slammed in the rings? Did it shatter millions of icy particles, revealing their shinier interior material, making them brighter? Clearly, something awesome and amazing happened here.
… but when it comes to this weird, weird place, I've learned my intuition is monumentally inadequate. Nature, it turns out, has a far greater imagination than any mere human. We are fated, I think, to watch Nature unfold before us and try to figure it out after the fact."

Expanding Spot on Venus Puzzles Astronomers
PHYSorg News, 4th August 2009
"The expanding spot discovered on Venus last month may not have garnered as much attention as the meteor impact with Jupiter, but its cause is certainly more puzzling. While astronomers are pretty sure that the new spot seen in Jupiter's landscape is caused by impact, there is evidence that this is not true of the spot seen on Venus. New Scientist reports on why astronomers don't think the spot of Venus was caused by a meteor:
Comment: There is no proof of volcanic activity on Venus and with the arrival of space probes, scientists were forced to dismiss the scientific notion of Venus being Earth's 'twin'. Venus is a raging hot inferno that caused scientists to invent the Runaway Greenhouse Effect to explain how this planet, which was supposed to be billions of years old, could be still so damn hot. The real explanation can be found with those who have alternative views. For a starter, one could consider the interpretation of mythology provided by Velikosky. Whatever, two comets hitting two different planets in our solar system discovered on the same day is probably too much for the astronomical establishment to cope with, so we now have this deliberation as to what really happened.
Dark energy may disguise shape of universe
New Scientist, 3rd August 2009
"We live in a special time. For the past two decades, most of my colleagues and I have been working under the assumption that we can know everything about the universe. We know the amount of matter and energy it contains. We know its shape is flat. We can trace its history from the earliest moments after the big bang and we can even predict its fate. Or at least we thought we could. Why were we so confident?
Exquisite measurements of the radiation left over from the big bang led us to believe that we could work out the curvature of the universe to within a few per cent. In doing so, we have determined how much energy the universe contains and that most of it is in an exotic form called dark energy, which is driving the expansion of space. However, recent discoveries have left me wondering if these claims were premature. As we learn more about dark energy and its effect on the expansion of space and time, we find that dark energy and the shape, or geometry, of the universe are worryingly intertwined.
Comment: This cosmologist appears to have sobered up, having previously been under the illusion that he understood the universe and as we know about the history of science, any assumption that scientists KNOW EVERYTHING there is to know about a subject in one life-time has been proven to be wrong. At the moment, theories about dark matter and dark energy are only catching up with metaphysical knowledge that has been gained over the centuries by the most advanced mystics. When I researched for Tuning the Diamonds I wanted to emphasise the fact that Earth was being bombarded by electrical particles and if people were astute, they would have realised I was informing them that some time in the future if their personal energy field was not up to scratch they were going to get fried. Thankfully NASA et al. have now acknoweldged that my initial analysis was correct, see It's Official; The New Cosmic Age has arrived!.
However, there was a multi-dimensional aspect that needed to be considered too and I tried to explain this using a selection of hyperdimensional theories. However, since I wrote my book it has become apparent that metaphysics is now in vogue amongst cosmologists and astronomers. Despite Electric Universe theories that decry the notion of a multi-dimensional reality, the acceptance of dark matter and dark energy theories means that there has been a massive paradigm shift and scientists are no longer frightened of the unseen and unknown and are even prepared to admit ignorance. Scientists even admit that they think Earth is being hammered by dark energy too....
Sharpest ever images of Betelgeuse reveal how explosive red supergiant loses mass
Dail Mail, 2nd August 2009
"It looks like a catastrophic explosion in the latest sci-fi action thriller but this awe-inspiring image is actually based on the latest state-of-the-art space imaging.
The artist's impression, inspired by the sharpest ever views of the supergiant star Betelgeuse, reveals an enormous plume of gas almost as big as our own Solar System blasting outwards. The discoveries, revealed by the latest techniques on the European Space Agency's Very Large Telescope, could help unravel why the mammoth plasma ball spews out material at such an incredible speed. [...]
‘Thanks to these outstanding images, we have detected a large plume of gas extending into space from the surface of Betelgeuse,' lead researcher Pierre Kervella from the Paris Observatory told the website PhysOrg.
The plume bursts out to at least six times the diameter of the star - about the distance from Sun to Neptune.
‘This is a clear indication that the whole outer shell of the star is not shedding matter evenly in all directions,' adds Kervella.
Comment: It took a while to decide to include this article because I thought the images were just too sensationalist. However, if you read the text, astronomers are telling us that there has been an explosion on Betelgeuse but it's not in the same category as a supernova explosion, but we don't know if this is just a precursor event and we have not been told when or if there is a probability that this energy will arrive in our solar system. Question: Do we have anything to worry about? Answer: We don't know enough information but I have made it very clear that massive bursts of energies are coming our way and this explains all the messages and support from many different off-planet/extraterrestrial sources that we have received for many many decades. Of course, humanity have been largely oblivious, which is a recurring theme on this planet. For those interested in the quality of the energy from Betelgeuse, in the book Energy Blessings from the Stars by Virginia Essene and Irving Feurst, Betelgeuse is known for 'expanded soul awareness' and according to this book, "the primary work of the Masters of Betelgeuse is yet to occur." Hmmmm....
Mysterious bright spot found on Venus
New Scientist, 29th July 2009
"A strange spot emerged on Venus last week, and astronomers are not sure what caused it. They hope future observations will reveal whether volcanic activity, turbulence in the planet's atmosphere, or charged particles from the sun are to blame.
Amateur astronomer Frank Melillo of Holtsville, New York, first spotted the new feature, which is brighter than its surroundings at ultraviolet wavelengths, on the planet's southern hemisphere on 19 July. That same day, an amateur observer in Australia found a dark spot on Jupiter that had been caused by a meteoroid impact."
Comment: It's now hard work monitoring all the changes taking place in the planets of our solar system as well as all the changes and new phenomena on Earth. Incidentally, for those who appreciate the contradictions between scientific orthodoxy and reality. See, How long has there been hell on Venus?
Total Amateurs Discover 'Green Pea' Galaxies
Space.com, 27th July 2009
Armchair astronomers have helped discover a batch of tiny galaxies that may help professional astronomers understand how galaxies formed stars in the early universe.
Dubbed the "Green Peas," the galaxies are forming stars 10 times faster then the Milky Way despite being 10 times smaller and 100 times less massive. They are between 1.5 billion and 5 billion light years away
"These are among the most extremely active star-forming galaxies we've ever found," said Carolin Cardamone, lead author of a paper on the discoveries to be published in an upcoming issue of the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.
The discoveries were made as part of a project called Galaxy Zoo, where Internet users volunteer their spare time to help classify galaxies for an online image database.
Murmurs of a potential discovery began when a group of volunteers who called themselves the "Peas Corps" and the "Peas Brigade" started a discussion in an online forum about a group of strange bright green objects. The original forum thread was called "Give peas a chance."
Comment: Hilarious! Why can amateurs find these objects and not the professionals?
Is Pluto a planet after all?
New Scientist, 27th July 2009
"HOW many planets are in the solar system? The official answer is eight - unless you happen to live in Illinois. Earlier this year, defiant Illinois state governors declared that Pluto had been unfairly demoted by the International Astronomical Union, the authority that sets the rules on all matters planetary.
Three years ago, the IAU decided to draw up the first scientific definition of the term planet. After days of stormy arguments at its general assembly in Prague, the delegates voted for a definition that excluded Pluto, downgrading it to the new category of dwarf planet. The decision caused outrage among many members of the public who had grown up with nine planets, and among some astronomers who pointed out that only 4 per cent of the IAU's 10,000 members took part in the vote. The governors of Illinois saw the decision as a snub to Pluto's discoverer, Clyde Tombaugh, who was born in the state."
Comment: Some detail about how astronomers made this decision which revealssome interesting information about the Kuiper belt and the so-far hidden presence of an object bigger than Mars. Hmmmm...

Betelgeuse BOOM - Calamitas Apocalyptica
Rense.com, 25th July 2009
"Some who read "Might Betelgeuse go BOOM?" were correct that I did not do a good job on spelling out the sequences of what can happen with such a Supernova and the time factors involved. It was both an oversight on my part to spell out a specific time frame and clarifying the terminology. The consequences are not that hard to grasp but sequence and time factors are. [...]
One of our quantum mechanics affiliates thinks that in addition to a massive blast of light due to the Supernova (and the possibility of massive doses of life-killing UV, gamma ray and x-ray), Betelgeuse might also be the type of star that will generate a considerable gravity wave as part of the event. That would add to the hurt by extending into centuries a string of bad luck for our planet. Our planet may soon exemplify the old adage if it were not for our bad luck we would not have any luck at all."
Comment: Well, here we have something along the lines of mega apocalyptic scenario that is not related to 2012, but I think it's a possibility. If you worry easy, then I suggest you skip reading this article.... Since the psychometrics indicate that my tendency is to integrate seemingly disparate pieces of information that remarkably then start looking like the Big Picture, I realised quite some time ago that off-planet sources seemed rather keen to encourage people to build up and strengthen their energy fields. Quite some time ago, I started to suspect that we were being told that massive bursts of energy were coming our way and I surmised that we were going to get a few massive gamma ray bursts, but Betelgeuse going BOOM would be a good enough reason for all the encouragment to spiritually evolve.
I also realised why many people did not seem to be interested in their spiritual evolution was because as it's commonly understood, most people are like sheep (sheeple) and have the mentality that if it's not popular it can't be good and then when there are enough people involved, will jump on any bandwagon however implausible, discernment is not even considered. Here, I will confess that I actually believed that the Galactic Alignment would occur in 2012 and was shocked to find that it actually occured in 1998/1999. I just did not read up enough on the subject (ie read the small print in the appendices.... ) and I trusted people to have done the research honestly, so I realise just how this bandwagon mentality works...
Anyway, I have struggled with trying to understand why certain bogus people were so successful and now I have come to the conclusion that people have the leaders, spiritual or otherwise that they deserve. Having met an assortment of people who profess spirituality but clearly demonstrate their lack of integrity, I realised that the label 'spiritual' meant different things to different people and could not be used as a basis for trust. Now, I have even started to think that the higher perspective is that all the bogusness works out so that only the really serious obtain true spiritual riches.
Anyway, in my own search for truth and enlightenment I have discovered some glorious detail about the true nature of our reality. Nobody can be an expert on all the relevant subjects, but I do understand enough that for anyone interested in spiritual evolution or even life after death, maintaining the integrity of our higher energy bodies is critical and a robust energy field could even provide some shielding against a supernova explosion. By the way, for the thinkers, how else but massive bursts of light at the frequency of cosmic and gamma rays, do you think will be required to 'deconstruct' plasma entities?
Huge telescope opens in Spain's Canary Islands
AP, 24th July 2009
"LA PALMA, Canary Islands — One of the world's most powerful telescopes opened its shutters for the first time Friday to begin exploring faint light from distant parts of the universe. The Gran Telescopio Canarias, a euro130 million ($185 million) telescope featuring a 34-foot (10.4-meter) reflecting mirror, sits atop an extinct volcano. Its location above cloud cover takes advantage of the pristine skies in the Atlantic Ocean.
Planning for the telescope began in 1987 and has involved more than 1,000 people from 100 companies. It was inaugurated Friday by King Juan Carlos. The observatory is located at 2,400 meters (7,870 feet) above sea-level where prevailing winds keep the atmosphere stable and transparent, the Canary Islands Astrophysics Institute said."
Comment: There seems to have been quite a party with the inauguation of this telescope, unlike the telescopes erected in a hurry on the ice at the south pole, which most commentators surmise is for watching out for any activity from the galactic centre. Well, with all the other current cosmic activity, there is no doubt that this facility will be fully utilised.
The Weakening Gravity-Dominated Cosmos Theory
Thunderbolts Info, 23rd July 2009
"Neutron stars and their rapidly spinning pulsar manifestations are among the most outlandish creations bogging down modern astrophysics. Neutron stars were first proposed as a theoretical possibility in 1933 by Baade and Zwicky. In seeking an explanation for the energy released by supernovae (a term coined by Zwicky), they proposed that a supernova was the result of a normal star transitioning to a neutron star."
Comment: A nice short article that gives enough argument and detail to demonstrate why many more people are supporting the notion of an Electric Universe.
Giant 'soap bubble' found floating in space
New Scientist, 23rd July 2009
"IT LOOKS like a soap bubble or perhaps even a camera fault, but the image at right is a newly discovered planetary nebula. Planetary nebulae, which got their name after being misidentified by early astronomers, are formed when an ageing star weighing up to eight times the mass of the sun ejects its outer layers as clouds of luminous gas (see Why stars go out in a blaze of glory). Most are elliptical, double-lobed or cigar-shaped, evolving after stars eject gas from each pole (see a gallery of the nebulae).
Comment: The Cygnus Soap Bubble, officially named PN G75.5+1.7 gives us a good example of how the properties of plasma and electromagnetism can generate such diverse manifestations.
New Image of Jupiter Impact in Infrared
Universe Today, 23rd July 2009
"After getting whacked unexpectedly by a small comet or asteroid, Jupiter is sporting a "bruise," which has been big news this week. In visible wavelengths, the impact site appears as a black spot. But in a new image taken in near infrared by the Gemini North telescope on Mauna Kea, Hawai'i, the spot shows up in spectacular glowing yellow. [...]
In infrared, the impact site shows up in remarkable detail. "The structure of the impact site is eerily reminiscent of the larger Shoemaker-Levy 9 sites 15 years ago," remarked Heidi Hammel (Space Science Institute)."
Comment: I note that this "small" impact was the size of Earth and I just suppose the latest Stephen Hawking article is just coincidence... Stephen Hawking: "Asteroid Impacts Biggest Threat to Intelligent Life in the Galaxy". The following quote is from an excellent piece of research by Laura Knight-Jadczyk at SOTT.net. Laura writes:
"Over the past few years, while sott.net has been tracking the increasing flux of fireballs and meteorites entering the earth's atmosphere, we have been, by turns, amused and horrified at the ignorant reactions and declarations that issue from academia and the media regarding these incursions. A few years ago, we read that "this is a 'once in a hundred years' event!" Not long after it was a "once in a lifetime" event. Still later, after a lot more incidents it became a "once in a decade" event. More recently, it has been admitted in some quarters that meteorites hit the ground (as opposed to safely burning up in the atmosphere) several times a year! And of course, we have discovered the fact that the governments of our planet are well aware that there are atmospheric explosions from such bodies numerous times a year.
The only thing wrong with Laura's analysis is the missing perspective that Earth is a school and the Universe reserves the right to cleanse the school and literally give it a rest when the human population screws up, which from the archaeological data seems to be fairly frequent. We now know that aetheric entities exist that monitor the spiritual progress of humanity and take action or indeed stand by and let things happen which then allows the Earth to evolve to a new state of being. Personally, I am still wondering how spiritual evolution is going to play out on Earth. However, as I recently had a glimpse of another world that looked far my interesting than Earth, I am getting to the stage were I am not sure whether I am really bothered what happens. From scientific speculation to metaphysical know-how, it would seem that all sorts of life is teeming all over the universe and beyond.
We have also learned in this series that the frequent reports of unusual booms and shaking of the ground is often due to such overhead explosions. Yet the media steadfastly refuses to honestly address this issue, though we have noted a plethora of recent articles presenting opposing academic arguments designed to put the populace back to sleep, to reassure them that there is nothing to worry about, that such things only happen every 100,000 years or so, and certainly, the Space Watch Program is going to find all the possible impactors and take care of things."

Preliminary image showing a black mark in Jupiters South Polar Region (SPR) which is almost certainly the result of a large impact - either an asteroid or comet - similar to the Shoemaker-Ley impacts in 1994.
Date and Time of Report: Dark impact mark first noted at approximately 1330UTC on 19th July 2009 from my home observatory just outside Murrumbateman NSW Australia."
Comment: Well, you have to love the internet and the people on duty watching out! OK, Jupiter was slammed by 'comets' fifteen years ago. In July 1994, it was repeatedly struck by the pieces of an object designated as Comet P/Shoemaker-Levy 9, however Russian analysis referred to this incident as being caused by a "plasmoid train". Jupiter, because of it's size, does have a role in capturing comets that would otherwise come our way, but metaphysical sources explained this object had been headed for Earth, but because mankind had raised it's consciousness, this object was steered into Jupiter by our aetheric friends instead. NASA to De-Orbit International Space Station In 2016
Popular Science, 13th July 2009
"Despite nearing completion after more than a decade of construction, and recently announcing some upcoming improvements to accompany its full crew of six astronauts, NASA plans to de-orbit the International Space Station in 2016. Meaning the station will have spent more time under construction than completed.
The fact that the ISS has already had $100 billion dumped into it over the years is reason for criticism over the proposed de-orbiting. Proponents of the extra-terrestrial shelter feel 2016 would be too soon to let the 700,000 pound craft crash into the Pacific Ocean. Critics against it say it wastes too much money with few tangible outcomes."
Comment: The way that things are going at the moment, it may be abandoned a long time before 2016.

facility dedicated to ultra-high-energy cosmic rays, could tell a startlingly different story. At the International Cosmic Ray
Conference, held from July 7 to 15 in Lodz, Poland, Auger scientists are presenting data that raises the possibility that
some of those super-speedy cosmic bullets could actually be iron nuclei.
It would surprise a lot of people if some of these particles turned out to be iron, says Hank Glass, an Auger collaborator
at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. While scientists can imagine mechanisms that would accelerate protons up to
nearly the speed of light, they have no idea where ultra-energetic iron nuclei could originate.
Then again, Glass adds, nature is full of surprises."
Comment: In my book, I outlined the theory of Multidimensional Reality that explained the source of
our reality as being an octahedron or diamond. I was totally enthralled to discover this theory, which is in line with the best
of metaphysical tradition and the belief of the most repected mystics that have ever lived. Central to this theory is the role
of the frequency of the iron element, I don't believe it's coincidental that nodules of iron are also found in crop circles
too.... The following quote is quite appropriate here: "The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to
grow sharper." -- Eden Phillpotts.
Cosmic 'whips' may have left their mark
New Scientist News, 4th July 2009
"SPACE-TIME should have universe-sized snags called cosmic strings running across it, but none have yet been found. That could be because they broke into a tangle of smaller strings and beads soon after the big bang. The good news is that this would have created gravitational waves that could be detected on Earth. Many theories predict the existence of cosmic strings. These topological defects in space-time, which can be larger than the observable universe, should have formed as the cosmos cooled from its hot beginnings."
Comment: Cosmic Strings were discussion in my book, as NASA thought they could be the answer to the extreme energies that were bombarding the Earth and so old theories were being dusted off and re-examined. This article explains a variation on Cosmic String Theory that I have never come across before and justs add to the soup of imaginary constructs in space that have never been observed and fall under the highly metaphysical "dark matter and dark energy" or as Prof. Don Scott would say, Fabricated Ad hoc Inventions Repeatedly Invoked in Efforts to Defend Untenable Scientific Theories, FAIRIE DUST!
Thunderbolts.info, 24th June 2009
"Ideas about the Sun based on fusion reactions in a dense core do not fit the observations as well as those based on electricity. In a recent Picture of the Day about Solar Cycle 24 and the lack of sunspots in a relatively quiet solar disk, it was noted that sunspots are not well understood by astronomers. Furthermore, their bizarre electromagnetic displays are not readily explainable by models of solar activity that rely on radiant emissions from thermonuclear energy. The Sun demonstrates that electrical and magnetic properties dominate its behavior. Almost 70 years ago, Dr. C. E. R. Bruce offered a new hypothesis about the Sun. Being an electrical researcher, as well as an astronomer, Bruce proposed that the Sun was a discharge phenomenon:"
Comment: Despite the abundant evidence that Sun is a huge ball of plasma operating under the rules of electromagnetism and plasma physics, solar physicists are having to slowly slowly modify their theories to avoid the scientific embarrassment of not realising this obvious fact, many decades ago, as this article reveals. Yet, the phenomena of Space Weather is now forcing space scientists to quickly reconsider their theories, as we have been informed by many reports over the last twenty years and recent major Space Weather reports have revealed that the conditions in near Earth space are now "extreme". We have entered a region of space that is more highly electrically charged and characterised by "magnetized strip structures and striations", which are more usually described by plasma physicists as Birkeland currents or as NASA describes them as a current flowing through "twisted bundles of magnetic fields". For the last reference, please see the highly informative Planetophysical State of the Earth and Life , which was the first scientific report to outline the ongoing transformation of every planet in our solar system.
Dark Matter Lab Dedicated 5,000 Feet Underground
Io9, 23rd June 2009
"This week, the Sanford Lab dedicated an underground science fortress to research dark matter. The lab is 5,000 feet underground in the mountains of South Dakota, shielded from cosmic radiation.
The lab is on a site that used to do physics research, and was a gold mine before that. The current Sanford Lab, in collaboration with the Deep Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory (DUSEL), is the deepest underground lab in the world. It's divided into three levels: the shallow lab, the mid-level, and the deep campus. The deep campus is 6 and a half Empire State Buildings deep, or around 8,000 feet."
Comment: If you read recent scientific research literature it seems that cosmologists have become extremely metaphysical in their understanding of our reality. Dark matter and dark energy is now responsible for structuring our reality and providing the energy that cannot be supplied by the weak force of gravity. Yet this is not all. Scientists believe that dark matter clouds pass through Earth on a regular basis and one scientist Jürg Diemand claims that computer simulations suggests that this happens every 10,000 years for a period of 50 years. Scientists even claim that this could nudge our planet out of it's orbit by a millionth of a metre per second. Now that's strange, because I saw a report about the Earth moving out of it's orbit only a few weeks ago...
Anyway, since there are now many reports of Earth being bombarded by a shower of sub-atomic positrons that are thought to originate from dark matter anihilation, it seems that the scientific evidence is stacking up that Earth is now being influenced by cosmic energies that we don't fully understand. Well, as I realised five years ago, our planet is experiencing an electromagnetic flood which our scientists now tell us includes "dark matter" but there are very few others willing to join up the dots to explain the plethora of new phenomena occuring on our planet. Hence, when the Obama Administration asks prominent members of the metaphysical community about "planetary challenges", they draw a blank....
Exploding Stars: Is Earth at Risk?
Fox News, 18th June 2009
"When stars go pop, a murderous torrent of energy is released. Life on Earth may have been partly extinguished by just such a violent outburst, but there's little hard evidence yet to justify such a claim. A new study plans to fill in the forensic details.
"We are trying to get a better estimate of how dangerous a particular event will be," says Brian Thomas of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. Thomas and his colleagues will be studying the wide-range of astrophysical phenomena that could fling high energy radiation across interstellar space to Earth's doorstep [as occured in a colossal blast detected in 2004].
The team also will radiate different types of phytoplankton to understand how life would be affected by a stellar blast, since life around the globe is highly dependent on these microscopic plants. The danger from stellar explosions has been considered before, but this will be the first comprehensive study. "We are building on previous work by broadening it to a wide range of astrophysical events and by making the biological modeling more precise," Thomas says. The project is part of NASA's Exobiology and Evolutionary Biology Program."
Comment: After my discovery that certain members of the metaphysical comunity were strengthening their energy fields in a way that is just an accelerated version of the normal process of spiritual evolution, I decided to check out the science and write a book. This became my life's work and my passion. Now, it is most certain that some MAJOR event is coming our way and I suspect that that it will involve a blast of high energy. There have been enough hints and tips from many different metaphysical sources, besides the solid FACTS from NASA that we are rapidly losing the shielding around our planet.
In addition to the research outlined in my book, I have recently discovered that scientists have proposed placing a bubble of plasma around a space ship to keep it safe from cosmic radiation. However it seems that most people are unaware that this is EXACTLY what happens when the human energy field is properly structured. There are many layers of light that exhibit varying properties and they can ALL be explained by understanding the behaviour of plasma. Now that I have found more science to support the notion of the human energy field acting as a shield that is strong enough to deflect a beams of electrons, I have come to realise just how important these insights are, especially if a nearby star goes pop! By the way, I have not gone out of my way to survey the scam artists in the New Age community, but please be assured that they exist. If energy practitioners cannot scientifically explain what they are doing when they work on your energy field, then you are better off walking away. There is no excuse because the science is available and the evolutionary changes taking place on this planet are happening regardless of the occurrence of any major event.
GREAT RED SPOT RIVAL
Spaceweather.com, 18th June 2009
Copy: "GREAT RED SPOT RIVAL: Astronomers are monitoring a new red spot forming in Jupiter's northern hemisphere--a brick-red storm nearly as large as the Great Red Spot itself. On June 17th, amateur astronomer Christopher Go of the Philippines photographed it using an 11-inch Celestron telescope:
"I have been monitoring the new spot since mid-April," says Go. "At first it was relatively small. In late May it began to grow rapidly, and just last week John Rogers of the British Astronomical Association issued an alert for everyone to observe it." "I hope to get an 890 nanometer 'methane band' image of this object in a few days," adds Go. "A good methane image will prove whether or not the new spot is a genuine anticyclonic storm." Stay tuned!
EXTRA: Jupiter's atmosphere is rich in methane (CH4), a molecule which absorbs 890 nm light. Viewed through an 890 nm filter, anticyclonic storms such as the Great Red Spot rise above the absorbing methane layer and appear bright. That is why a methane band image will reveal the nature of the new spot.
Comment: There are so many changes in our neighbouring planets, that it is actually quite difficult to keep up! As previous reports have indicated, the Great Red Spot is now salmon coloured but here it looks like it is fading fast! The transformation of our solar system continues!
Cosmology in Crisis—Again!
Thunderbolts.info, 24th May 2009
"It seems the toughest thing for scientists to grasp - that a cherished paradigm like the big bang can be wrong. [...] Cosmology is in crisis because from the very outset the "big bang" was not science! The big bang invokes a miraculous creation of the universe from nothing. It is a misguided attempt to manufacture a creation story to complement, or compete with, the biblical Genesis story.
But real science doesn't do miracles. There was no contest anyway. The biblical creation story, like those of all other ancient cultures on Earth, has nothing to do with the creation of the universe. To believe so is to misunderstand the ancient meanings of "heaven" and "earth." A scientific, forensic investigation of mankind's earliest ideas about heaven and earth show that "heaven" was the arena of the planetary "gods," whose behavior was fearfully witnessed by our prehistoric ancestors in a catastrophic period of awful electrical splendor in the skies."
Comment: Wallace Thornhill is one of the leading proponents of the Electric Universe theory, so it is not surprising that he has taken the opportunity to respond to the headlines early this month that stated "Study plunges standard Theory of Cosmology into Crisis." I can only assume from the quote I have provided, that Thornhill understands the deeper implications of the relationship between astronomy, ancient pagan religions and ancient mythology. So, why does this matter? Well, despite the lack of mainstream press, our whole planet is being slowly electrified by the massive increases in Space Weather from solar, cosmic galactic/intergalactic sources. You can compare it to the frog that if you flung it into a pan of boiling water, it would quickly jump out, but if you placed it in a pan of water and slowly, slowly turned up the heat, the frog will allow itself to be boiled to death. Twenty years ago, the Space Community realised that the pan was starting to boil and that near Earth space was becoming more highly charged. This has escalated to the point now that satellite components are quickly aging due to the build-up of electrical charges destroying the sensitive monitors and electronic components. Satellites are routinely failing and dropping out of their orbits to the point where we even had a crash of military satellites in space that took place in mid February. Most people do not realise that they are now being effected by space weather and the debate about the nature of our reality for most seems to be irrelevant, but like the frog in the pan, being aware of your environment actually matters.
Study Plunges Standard Theory of Cosmology Into Crisis
Spaceref.com, 5th May 2009
"As modern cosmologists rely more and more on the ominous "dark matter" to explain otherwise inexplicable observations, much effort has gone into the detection of this mysterious substance in the last two decades, yet no direct proof could be found that it actually exists. Even if it does exist, dark matter would be unable to reconcile all the current discrepancies between actual measurements and predictions based on theoretical models. Hence the number of physicists questioning the existence of dark matter has been increasing for some time now.
Competing theories of gravitation have already been developed which are independent of this construction. Their only problem is that they conflict with Newton's theory of gravitation. "Maybe Newton was indeed wrong", declares Professor Dr. Pavel Kroupa of Bonn University´s Argelander-Institut für Astronomie (AIfA). "Although his theory does, in fact, describe the everyday effects of gravity on Earth, things we can see and measure, it is conceivable that we have completely failed to comprehend the actual physics underlying the force of gravity"."
Comment: This article seems to be telling us that the house of theoretical cards that make-up modern cosmology is crumbling. The problem is that astrophysicists and cosmologists refuse to appreciate that space is not neutral and that the electromagnetic force dominates the universe at the sub-atomic level. Newton's theory of gravitation generally works for massive planet sized objects but the charge-to mass ratio dictates which forces dominates overall. Hence, the continuous reports of confusion, crisis and mystery and the need for ongoing research to find the requisite "dark energy" and "dark matter".
Note the comment, "Or one must assume that some basic fundamental principles of physics have hitherto been incorrectly understood." Yes, regardless of what direction astronomers look, they can see throughout our universe amazing cosmic features that defy theory and I can assure you, the universe is not going to change to suit the theory! How to map the multiverse
New Scientist, 4th May 2009
"BRIAN GREENE spent a good part of the last decade extolling the virtues of string theory. He dreamed that one day it would provide physicists with a theory of everything that would describe our universe - ours and ours alone. His bestselling book The Elegant Universe eloquently captured the quest for this ultimate theory.
"But the fly in the ointment was that string theory allowed for, in principle, many universes," says Greene, who is a theoretical physicist at Columbia University in New York. In other words, string theory seems equally capable of describing universes very different from ours. Greene hoped that something in the theory would eventually rule out most of the possibilities and single out one of these universes as the real one: ours.
So far, it hasn't - though not for any lack of trying. As a result, string theorists are beginning to accept that their ambitions for the theory may have been misguided. Perhaps our universe is not the only one after all. Maybe string theory has been right all along.
Greene, certainly, has had a change of heart. "You walk along a number of pathways in physics far enough and you bang into the possibility that we are one universe of many," he says. "So what do you do? You smack yourself in the head and say, 'Ah, maybe the universe is trying to tell me something.' I have personally undergone a sort of transformation, where I am very warm to this possibility of there being many universes, and that we are in the one where we can survive."
Comment: There are billions of stars in billions of galaxies in many universes that we don't know about, but somehow we are all suppose to believe that we are the only form of intelligent life in existence. Our scientists are prepared to admit that our universe is filled with the ingredients where non-carbon lifeforms can exist. The UK Ministry of Defence, agree with Russian and Chinese scientists who have revealed to the world that plasma "entities" regularly fly in and out of Earth's atmosphere. The traditional metaphysical literature tells us that 'celestial beings' exist and the metaphysical community agree that the 'veil is lifting'. Government after government is opening up their UFO files because they realise that something absolutely fundamental is happening. You don't have to be Ph.D to work this out and I think very soon, there will be many more 'smacking' themselves in the head.
Complex molecules seen in space
BBC News, 21st April 2009
Astronomers have detected two of the most complex carbon-rich molecules ever found in interstellar space.
Their models suggest even more complex await to be discovered, including amino acids - which are essential for life.
The results were presented at the European Week of Astronomy and Space Science meeting being held in the UK.
Researchers detected the organic molecules in the star-forming region of space known as Sagittarius B2, close to the centre of our galaxy. [...]
The new molecules seem to be "born" in this way, via a series of short steps that build up long-chain molecules. "There is no apparent limit to the size of molecules that can be formed by this process - so there's good reason to expect even more complex organic molecules to be there, if we can detect them," says Robin Garrod, an astrochemist from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, US.
Comment: Hmmm... Sagittarius B2 is very close to Sagittarius A*, which is the absolute centre of our galaxy, a compact region that contains a theory defying 'weak' black hole and a very powerful radio source called IRS7. This is the region that emits the fierce 'galactic wind' and has erupted 14 times in 6,000 years, discharging evolutionary energies throughout the galaxy. Here scientists are telling us that at the centre of our galaxy there is the creation of complex matter which appears to be born, verifying the ancient beliefs of indigenous cultures that include the Maya that believe the centre of our galaxy is the "Creation Place".
Galaxy Formation: Bubble Magnets
Thunderbolts.info, 14th April 2009
"Astronomers say that exploding bubbles of magnetic energy might have helped form galaxy clusters.
A little over fifty years ago, before space shuttles, before the Hubble Space Telescope, and before satellite technology, electricity in space was not considered. Because the first teams of space scientists were "steely eyed missile men" with backgrounds in aeronautics and chemical fuel reactions, when evidence for electric current flow around Earth was found it was called a "radiation belt."
Although Kristian Birkeland had conducted experiments almost fifty years before the first science package was launched into Earth orbit, electricity remained unfamiliar to researchers conditioned to think in terms of gravity and mass. They had no concept of charged particles generating filamentary structures that could interact and create energetic phenomena - Birkeland's terella research and his study of Earth's aurorae were forgotten."
Comment: Due to Space Weather and the build-up of charge in our solar system, there are more and more scientists becoming aware that space is not neutral and despite the attempts to cling on to outdated Cosmology, circumstances are forcing scientists to re-think.
Hubble's greatest hits: Hubble space telescope images
The Telegraph, April 2009
"The Hubble Space Telescope was launched in April 1990. After the problems with its main mirror were fixed, it started sending beautifully detailed images of space back to earth. Here are some of the best: Staring across interstellar space, the Cat's Eye Nebula lies three thousand light-years from Earth. One of the most famous planetary nebulae, NGC 6543 is over half a light-year across and represents a final, brief yet glorious phase in the life of a sun-like star." "In 1787, astronomer William Herschel discovered the Eskimo Nebula, NGC 2392, which resembles a person's head surrounded by a parka hood."
Comment: In 1787, astronomers did not have space probes and highly sophisticated telescopes bringing back magnificent images. Now astronomers are completely stumped because what they are seeing completely defies cosmology based on the weak force of gravity. Yet, plasma physicists can model the evolution of galaxies using computer simulations based on the properties of plasma and the influence of electric currents. Over one hundred years ago, scientists started to realise that we live in an Electromagnetic Universe and that space was not neutral, ie there are huge electric currents in space and galactic sized magnetic fields. Cosmologists and astronomers can continue to pretend that they can model the universe, but in the real modern technological world with changing electrical properties of space and the arrival of Space Weather, electric currents in space that can "zap" Earth bound satellites is now an issue.

YouTube link: Plasma Cosmology Fundamentals
Comment: This is 5-part video, (10:00), (09:57),(9:20), 03:03), (09:07). The second - fourth segments describes how Cosmology is dominated by the erroneous Big Bang Theory and we get a nice tutorial about the infamous astronomical Epicycles. The last and fifth segment is about how plasma cosmology can explain the Universe that we can see. Please remember, Plasma/Electric Universe theorists don't believe in Dark Matter and Dark Energy. What's more you won't find references to the electromagnetic quantum vacuum and 'higher' dimensions either. So Plasma/Electric Universe theorists cannot be completely correct. However, now we have extremely detailed observations that clearly detail cosmic features that cannot simply be generated by the weak force of gravity in extremely short periods of time. We also have computer simulations that can help demonstrate that plasma seems to behave in a similar manner, over a very wide range of orders of magnititude (over a trillion fold). What's more, due to the domination of electromagnetic force determined by the mass to charge ratio for sub-atomic particles e.g. the repulsive force between two protons is 36 orders of magnetitude (1036 larger than the force of gravitational attraction and the repulsive force between two electrons is 42 orders of magnetitude (1042 larger than the force of gravitational attraction, we have to accept that the Electromagnetic Force rules the visible Universe which is 99.999% plasma. This is now becoming apparent as scientists are now engaged in desperately trying to understand the new atmospheric/geological/geomagnetic phenomena associated with Space Weather and the downpour of evolutionary energies which includes plasma.
Most Extreme Gamma-ray Blast Ever, Seen By Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope
Science Daily, 19th February 2009
"With the distance in hand, FGST team members showed that the blast exceeded the power of nearly 9,000 ordinary supernovae and that the gas bullets emitting the initial gamma rays must have moved at no less than 99.9999 percent the speed of light.
This burst's tremendous power and speed make it the most extreme recorded to date. The burst is not only spectacular but also enigmatic: a curious time delay separates its highest-energy emissions from its lowest. Such a time lag has been seen clearly in only one earlier burst, and researchers have several explanations for why it may exist."
Comment: As I have written before, our planet is being blasted with energy to push us to the next evolutionary level. Otherwise, you would have to agree that it's merely a coincidence that it's only in the last few years that we have seen such massive bursts of energy.
Astronomers Find Cosmic Dust Fountain Red
UNiverse Today, 5th February 2009
"Dust is everywhere in space, but the pervasive stuff is one thing astronomers know little about. Cosmic dust is also elusive, as it lasts only about 10,000 years, a brief period in the life of a star.
"We not only do not know what the stuff is, but we do not know where it is made or how it gets into space," said Donald York, a professor at the University of Chicago. But now York and a group of collaborators have observed a double-star system, HD 44179, that may be creating a fountain of dust. The discovery has wide-ranging implications, because dust is critical to scientific theories about how stars form. The double star system sits within what astronomers call the Red Rectangle, a nebula full of gas and dust located approximately 2,300 light years from Earth. One of the double stars is a post-asymptotic giant branch (post-AGB) star, a type of star astronomers regard as a likely source of dust."
Comment: This is one of my most favourite 'engimatic' features in space, but without an electric universe interpretation, these astronomers have no explanation for how this charged dust could create heavy elements and a pyramid-like feature in space.
Dark matter filaments stoked star birth in early galaxies
New Scientist, 21st January 2009
"Tendrils of dark matter channelled gas deep into the hearts of some of the universe's earliest galaxies, a new computer simulation suggests. The result could explain how some massive galaxies created vast numbers of stars without gobbling up their neighbours."
Comment: It is interesting how astronomers are getting closer and closer to conclusions that resonant with basic Electric and Plasma Universe theories, in this case the dark matter would represent plasma in 'dark mode' Yet, at the same time, it's very interesting how scientists are starting to realise that our reality is derived from higher dimensional energies. The mysterious 'dark matter' which I believe is a multi-dimensional plasma, is the basic building blocks of reality or 'spirit' in metaphysical and religious terms.
"Renegade" Stars Tearing Across Universe, Hubble Shows
National Geographic, 8th January 2009
"Ripples in cosmic gas that resemble speedboat wakes have revealed a new population of young, renegade stars barreling through the universe at more than 112,000 miles (180,250 kilometers) an hour. The stars appear to be just a few million years old and a few times larger than the sun.
As they careen through the cosmos, the stars' winds slam against nearby gas, creating enormous bow shocks billions or even a trillion miles wide. So far astronomers have found 14 of these rogue stars using images from the Hubble Space Telescope. But study leader Raghvendra Sahai, of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, thinks the stellar interlopers will turn out to be common in the universe. [...]
Sahai and colleages discovered the odd stars a little more than a year ago while peering at what they thought was a subclass of dying stars near the Milky Way's galactic plane.
The galactic plane is the region of our galaxy that extends along an imaginary line from Earth's Equator. Sahai's team found objects that shared some of the same characteristics of the dying stars they sought, but closer inspection revealed 14 of the 38 suspect objects as stellar renegades instead. "We accidentally stumbled across a new class of objects," Sahai said.
Comment: Our universe is certainly not a quiet place where not much happens.... Note the location along the galactic plane, where our astronomers are spending a lot of time and effort watching for any sign of a galactic core explosion. Despite the title of this article, the astronomer describes these as 'objects' not stars..... See also Runaway Stars Go Ballistic
Before the Big Bang There Was Another Universe
A new theory rules out singularity
SoftPedia News, 12th December 2008
"A new challenge to classical cosmology comes from a novel field named loop quantum cosmology (LQC), which started from applying rules of loop quantum gravity on the context of general relativity.
The new vision states that the universe we live in did not emerge from an infinitely small particle with a similarly infinite mass (the dreadful singularity all scientists have been trying to avoid). Instead, the authors claim that another (possibly similar) universe existed before.
The laws of physics to which singularity abides are still elusive, but theoretical aspects suggest that it is highly likely that Planck-scale densities are impossible. So, Martin Bojowald, an assistant professor of physics at Pennsylvania State University, and Abhay Ashtekar, Eberly professor of physics and director of the Institute for Gravitational Physics and Geometry at the same institution, have devised a model where the universe is the result of another kind of Big Bang, called a Big Bounce.
Comment: Yes, many cosmologists have realised that the mathematics and theory to support
Big Bang Theory is impossible. Some have deducted this from the observation of quasars and plasma physicists know this for sure from laboratory experiments, hence some have already produced far more realistic theories. Whatever, the name 'The Big Bounce' is rather catchy, I suppose it designed to go down well at an elementary level....
Mysterious Light Show Seen at Saturn
SPACE.com, 12th November 2008
An inexplicable new broad region of auroral light has been photographed at Saturn's polar cap. "We've never seen an aurora like this elsewhere," said Tom Stallard, an RCUK Academic Fellow working with Cassini data at the University of Leicester.
"It's not just a ring of aurorae like those we've seen at Jupiter or Earth. This one covers an enormous area across the pole. Our current ideas on what forms Saturn's aurorae predict that this region should be empty, so finding such a bright one here is a fantastic surprise.
"Saturn's unique auroral features are telling us there is something special and unforeseen about this planet's magnetosphere and the way it interacts with the solar wind and the planet's atmosphere," said Nick Achilleos, a scientist on the Cassini magnetometer team at the University College London. "Trying to explain its origin will no doubt lead us to physics which uniquely operates in the environment of Saturn.

Mysterious changes seen on distant dwarf planet
New Scientist News, 10th November 2008
"The surface of the largest known 'plutoid' appears to have changed in recent years, according to new measurements of how elements are layered on its icy surface. But astronomers cannot explain the cause of the apparent change.
Eris is the largest known object beyond the orbit of Neptune, weighing nearly a third more than Pluto. It travels on an elongated path around the Sun that takes about 560 years to complete. Astronomers think the distant world is covered by a layer of frozen methane and small amounts of nitrogen ice. When it comes near the Sun, these ices are thought to vaporise from sunlit portions of the surface and condense onto regions in shadow.
Eris is now near its farthest point from the Sun, so it is expected to be cold and inactive. But a new study suggests the dwarf planet's surface may have changed in the last few years.
"We're really scratching our heads," says author Stephen Tegler of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff." "One possibility is that Eris experienced some recent change in weather that altered the top several centimetres of its surface, Tegler says. But changes in weather are difficult to explain when Eris is so far from the Sun.
"It's very hard to imagine that something that dramatic would be happening on a relatively short time scale", says Mike Brown of Caltech, who was not involved in the study."
Comment: Another example of the rapid planetary changes taking place across the whole of our solar system effecting all the planets and even other objects like this plutoid Eris. Some changes are taking place in a few years and our astrophysicists are really struggling to understand how these changes could take place so rapidly.
When Dragons Ruled the World
Thunderbolts.info, 8th September 2008
"Summary: For eons now images and stories of dragons have abounded the world over, yet no known animal could display the many strange features of your 'average' dragon. Small wings, serpentine body, multicolored fire-breathing beasts; surely our ancestors were just insane or their imaginations 'substance enhanced' to come up with such creatures. Or, did these stories originate from something which was actually witnessed by the ancients?
Until modern technology and research showed us otherwise, we could perhaps have been forgiven for having thought the way we did. But Plasma Cosmology demands that we re-think previous assumptions about the origins of much of what we call "myth" today as evidence is mounting that in a Plasma universe there may be a simple, logical and scientifically demonstrable answer to what motivated stories of dragons in the sky."
Comment: The only reason this short 10 minute video is linked is because a metaphysical sources have told us of the return of "dragon energy". As the video states, mythology from all over the world can now be understood in the terms of plasma cosmology, but I believe vague metaphysical ideas can also be given some substance too.
Electric Gravity in an Electric Universe
Holoscience.com, 22nd August 2008
Comment: As much as I like Electric/Plasma Universe theory, there is too much emphasis on the electric force and not enough real theory about the creation of matter. Electric theorists also shun higher dimensions which they consider metaphysical and even in this article, I found the quotes about the relationship between matter and aether at odds with what I have understood as the basic postulates of Electric Universe theory. According to Dr Harold Aspden and other emminent British scientists, spacetime is Einstein's version of the aether, the existence of which was acknowledged by the great British pioneers of mathematics and physics over 100 years ago. Personally, I like to see some ugly hard facts and that is why I wrote about the work of Dr Harold Aspden who made his predictions of standard physics constants from his understanding of the aether about 50 years ago and it is only now that experimental physics has caught up and verified his work. I must admit, electrical engineers live in the real world and even now they will state.....have you ever seen an electron? Quite frankly they have a point. Anyway, for the general public, scientists and mathematicians in 'Theoretical Wonderland', arguing about the cause of gravity does seem irrelevant. However, at this time in the galactic cycle, highly electrical plasma energy termed Space Weather by our scientists, is literally raining on our heads and is impacting us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Despite my approach in using some Electric Universe theory to explain what is going on, there is absolutely nothing abstract about being zapped by highly electrical energy.
Galactic 'spaghetti monster' powered by magnetic fields
New Scientist, 20th August 2008
"Long-lived magnetic fields are sustaining a mammoth network of spaghetti-like gas filaments around a black hole, a new study suggests. Previously, it was not clear what prevented the delicate filaments from being destroyed by competing gravitational forces." "Until now, no one was sure quite how old these gas filaments were or how they avoided being torn apart by the galaxy cluster's immense gravitational forces.
"Quite what the filaments are and how they are produced hasn't been known," says study author Andrew Fabian of Cambridge University in the UK. ...They show the gas filaments seem to be made up of a number of thin threads. These threads are so tenuous that magnetic fields are the only thing that can protect them from being destroyed, says Fabian."
Comment: Spaghetti Madness!
Plasma Cosmology is over 100 years old, founded by the insights of the great Norwegian Kristian Olaf Bernhard and later championed by the great Nobel prize winner Swedish Hannes Alfven. I imagine that these pioneers will be spinning in their graves, caused by the ignorance of the true nature of our universe by these astronomers who do not know that the Universe is filled with 99.999% plasma. This is a perfect example of how compartmentalised the academic community has become. These astronomers need to do some plasma physics and electrical enginneering courses and then they would instantly recognise a Birkeland current when they see one! Incredible!!!!!!!
Electricity Powers the Universe
Lewrockwell.com, 30th July 2008
"Electricity is an immensely more powerful force than gravity, and far more complex in the ways it interacts with matter. Yet modern astronomy remains wedded to a belief in gravity as the dominant mover and shaper of the universe, and seeks to explain new observations in terms that conceptually go back hundreds of years. James Hogan describes an emerging alternative theory that recognizes the important role played by electricity on cosmic scales, offering explanations based on principles that are well understood and demonstrable in laboratories, without need of recourse to unobserved, untestable physics or speculative mathematical abstractions."
Comment: The astronomy community is facing a paradigm shift as it becomes more evident that we live in a universe dominated by plasma and the electromagnetic force. With the current deluge of evolutionary energies, which is highly electrical, electrical manifestations and plasma phenomena will dominate our reality, and theory will be replaced by hard facts.
Electrical Activity On Saturn's Moon Titan Confirmed By Spanish Scientists
Science Daily, 29th July 2008
"Physicists from the University of Granada and University of Valencia have developed a procedure for analysing specific data sent by the Huygens probe from Titan, the largest of Saturn's moons, "unequivocally" proving that there is natural electrical activity in its atmosphere."
Comment: We find an interesting discussion on measuring the Schumann resonances here, but generally we see scientists finally catching up with electric universe theorists with real observational data.
Ancient Galactic Magnetic Fields Stronger than Expected
Physorg.com, 23rd July 2008
"Mining the far reaches of the universe for clues about its past, a team of scientists including Philipp Kronberg of Los Alamos National Laboratory has proposed that magnetic fields of ancient galaxies like ours were just as strong as those existing today, prompting a rethinking of how our galaxy and others may have formed.
With powerful telescopes and sophisticated measurements, the team probed back in time to see the ancient universe as it existed some 8 to 9 billion years ago. Their research was published in the July 17 edition of Nature."
Comment: In the beginning was the plasma and it had a magnetic field. My research has satisfied me that we can recognise the signature of the divine, by the behaviour of energy in relation to geometry and the magnetic force.
NASA telescope to scan extreme forces of space
Baltimore sun, 9th June 2008
If you think of the heavens as a peaceful place, with planets revolving around stars in
timeless, predictable patterns, NASA plans to launch a $690 million space telescope next
week could change your mind. Managed by scientists at the Goddard Space Flight Center in
Greenbelt, the Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST) will spend five to 10 years
probing things that blow up and crash into each other: gamma rays that explode, cosmic rays that bombard us and jets of energy that shoot out of black holes and speed through space in mystifying patterns. Astronomers hope to shed light on some of the most powerful forces in the universe - and shatter stereotypes in the process, NASA officials say.
"Plasma instabilities occur that break up any streaming, and yet here we have objects in space that travel hundreds, if not thousands, of light years in these very collimated streams," said Richard E. Lingenfelter, an astrophysicist at the University of California, San Diego. "The fact that they seem to be so narrowly collimated over such long distances is fascinating.
Comment: It's almost like these scientists do not know that the heavens are filled with plasma which is dominated by the electromagnetic force.
Hints of 'time before Big Bang'
BBC News, 6th June 2008
"A team of physicists has claimed that our view of the early Universe may contain the signature of a time before the Big Bang. The discovery comes from studying the cosmic microwave background (CMB), light emitted when the Universe was just 400,000 years old. Their model may help explain why we experience time moving in a straight line from yesterday into tomorrow."
Comment: It amazes me that scientists perpetuate the myth of 'once upon a non-existent time, something happened and now we're here.....', what's wrong with the idea that the universe has always existed and just transforms itself periodically using it's own self-governing rules. Hannes Alfven stated, "In the beginning was the plasma" and quite frankly it's the only thing that makes sense in an electromagnetic universe.
Hannes Alfvén: the Maverick Plasma Astrophysicist
Thunderbolts.info, 30th May 2008
"Hannes Alfvén is considered one of the founding fathers in the field of plasma physics. He described himself as a dissident scientist and maverick, and attitudes towards him are ambivalent. On the one hand, he received the 1970 Nobel Prize in physics for applications of his work in different areas of plasma physics. On the other hand, some of his contributions to science have been either ignored, forgotten, or unacknowledged."
"Alfvén first predicted that waves could occur in plasmas in a letter in Nature in 1942, but it was largely ignored or disputed on the grounds that if such waves existed, Maxwell would have noted them. Then in 1949, Alfvén gave a lecture in Chicago that Enrico Fermi also attended. Fermi's reputation was such that when he nodded in agreement with Alfvén's presentation, the next day the world acknowledged that such waves existed."
Comment: Thanks to the team at Thunderbolts.info for marking this occasion. Please note: We are being informed that 'Space Weather' ie plasma waves, will be passing us by on Earth and that humans will be affected. You will either evolve or devolve, depending on how you cope with the waves....this is the proverbial sorting out of the wheat from the chaff.
Jupiter: Turbulent Storms May Be Sign Of Global Climate Change
Science Daily, 23rd May 2008
"The first images of Jupiter since it came out from behind the sun show that the turbulence and storms that have plagued the planet for the past two years continue. Whether or not this is a sign of global warming, the turbulence does seem to be spawning new spots. As Red Spot Jr. and the Great Red Spot approach a June conjunction, a new third spot may merge with the GRS in August."
Comment: I think a better interpretation is that new spots on Jupiter are a sign of massive planetary change and can be compared to similar changes in all the planets in our solar system.
Sun's Movement Through Milky Way Regularly Sends Comets Hurtling, Coinciding With Mass
ScienceDaily.com, 2nd May 2008
"The sun's movement through the Milky Way regularly sends comets hurtling into the inner solar system -- coinciding with mass life extinctions on earth, a new study claims. The study suggests a link between comet bombardment and the movement through the galaxy."
Comment: There have been many studies that have come to the same conclusion, however it seems that there is a concerted effort to avoid any major focus on cosmic influences that might affect life on Earth.
The Milky Way is twice the size we thought it was
The University of Sydney, 20th February 2008
"Astrophysicist Professor Bryan Gaensler led a team that has found that our galaxy - a flattened spiral about 100,000 light years across - is 12,000 light years thick, not the 6,000 light years that had been previously thought. Proving not all science requires big, expensive apparatus, Professor Gaensler and colleagues, Dr Greg Madsen, Dr Shami Chatterjee and PhD student Ann Mao, downloaded data from the internet and analysed it in a spreadsheet.
"We were tossing around ideas about the size of the Galaxy, and thought we had better check the standard numbers that everyone uses. It took us just a few hours to calculate this for ourselves. We thought we had to be wrong, so we checked and rechecked and couldn't find any mistakes."
Comment: This report does not inspire confidence! Note the final comments, "Some colleagues have come up to me and have said 'That wrecks everything!'" says Professor Gaensler. "And others have said 'Ah! Now everything fits together!'" Incredible!
NASA Satellite Detects Record Gamma Ray Burst Explosion Halfway Across Universe
NASA News, 20th March 2008
"GRB 080319B's optical afterglow was 2.5 million times more luminous than the most luminous supernova ever recorded, making it the most intrinsically bright object ever observed by humans in the universe. The most distant previous object that could have been seen by the naked eye is the nearby galaxy M33, a relatively short 2.9 million light-years from Earth.
Analysis of GRB 080319B is just getting underway, so astronomers don't know why this burst and its afterglow were so bright. One possibility is the burst was more energetic than others, perhaps because of the mass, spin, or magnetic field of the progenitor star or its jet. Or perhaps it concentrated its energy in a narrow jet that was aimed directly at Earth."
Comment: Still, it seems that the citizens of this planet are very unaware that there is a massive orchestration by the celestial "gods" to drive us to the next level of our evolution.
MAGIC Rays May Reveal New Laws of the Universe
Daily Galaxy, 19th March 2008
"The Major Atmospheric Gamma-ray Imaging Cherenkov (MAGIC) telescope sited at Roque de los Muchachos Observatory on La Palma in the Canary Islands has found that gamma radiation emitted from a distant galaxy arrived at earth four minutes after lower-energy photons, despite apparently being emitted at the same time. If this information is correct – and Daniel Ferenc, a physics professor at UC Davis and a member of the MAGIC collaboration says that a repeat performance will be needed to confirm such a finding – then the findings are in direct contradiction to Einstein's theory of relativity."
Comment: Many scientists have long ago found flaws in Einstein's theory of relativity, it will be interesting to see if this research is ignored or not.
Big Bang Busted!
(The Black Hole, the Big Bang, and Modern Physics)
Thunderbolts.info, 21st February 2008
"There has been a deliberate suppression of important scientific papers by the community of physicists and astronomers concerning the black hole, beginning with the original paper by Karl Schwarzschild of 1916, evidently for vainglory, money and self-aggrandisement. I bring you free access to those papers, and others of relevance, in the hope that this fraud can be exposed and physics restored to a rational search for knowledge. The black hole has no foundation in theory whatsoever. Neither Newton's theory nor Einstein's theory predict it. In fact, both theories preclude it, contrary to what the orthodox relativists claim.
Comment: The listing of relevant research papers is impressive, but the tone of this article is rather angry.
Physicist Neil Turok: Big Bang Wasn't the Beginning
Wired.com, 19th February 2008
"According to Turok, who teaches at Cambridge University, the Big Bang represents just one stage in an infinitely repeated cycle of universal expansion and contraction. Turok theorizes that neither time nor the universe has a beginning or end.
It's a strange idea, though Turok would say it's no stranger than the standard explanation of the Big Bang: a singular point that defies our laws of physics, where all equations go to infinity and "all the properties we normally use to describe the universe and its contents just fail."
Comment: Well, we have someone here who is brave enough to suggest that the emperor has no clothes.....
The Electric Fires of Creation
Thunderbolts.info, 18th February 2008
"With the invention of more powerful telescopes and our ability to place sensitive detection apparatus into Earth orbit, astronomers are finding that the more simplistic explanations from the past are in need of revision. Rather than space being permeated with cold, dark clouds of hydrogen gas, alone, there are vast areas where "hot plasma" is transporting power over many parsecs."
Comment: I just love the closing quote: "Sometimes I think that astronomy is not so much a science as a series of scandals." –– Halton Arp. LOL!!
A String Theory for the Sun
Thunderbolts.info, 15th February 2008
"Filamentary Birkeland currents transport electrical energy from the Sun to Earth and the rest of the Solar System. Could ancient human beings have seen this phenomenon visible in their skies?"
Comment: NASA now admit the existence of "giant magnetic ropes that connect Earth's upper atmosphere to the Sun". Thus, will they next tell us that this electrical powerline is starting to surge with new power?
Big Bang Cosmology: Going Down a Black Hole?
Thunderblog, 20th January 2008
"Plasma science is attracting interest because it explains physical reality in a manner that is consistent, comprehensible, logical, and most importantly, testable. Many also sense an inherent meaningfulness in the interconnectedness of all in an electric plasma universe...
In stark contrast, according to critics in increasing numbers, the esoteric mathematics of standard cosmology is inconsistent, incomprehensible, illogical, and worst, almost entirely untestable in the real world. Can one gain a sense of meaning from a field seemingly overrun by mathematical fantasies? Although they may be internally consistent, they have no reality or meaning outside their own constructed framework of thoughts."
Comment: This long article also comments on the New York Times article Big Brain Theory: Have Cosmologists Lost Theirs?, which nicely sums up the pathological scientific thinking, currently dominating cosmology. Pathological Science is a term was first used by Irving Langmuir, Nobel Prize-winning chemist in 1953, see more info at wikipedia, Pathological science.
Could the Universe be tied up with cosmic string?
Physorg.com, 18th January 2008
"Cosmic strings are predicted by high energy physics theories, including superstring theory. This is based on the idea that particles are not just little points, but tiny vibrating bits of string. Cosmic strings are predicted to have extraordinary amounts of mass - perhaps as much as the mass of the Sun - packed into each metre of a tube whose width is less a billion billionth of the size of an atom."
Comment: Cosmic string and the string of string theory fame are not the same thing, but important if we want to understand the rules of the Electromagnetic Universe. See Evidence of string theory written across the sky?
Cosmic explosion detonates in empty space
New Scientist News, 19th December 2007
"Astronomers are puzzling over a powerful cosmic explosion that seems to have detonated in a region of empty space, far away from any nearby galaxy."
Comment: Note the discussion of "gas" and "dense knots", I suggest they ask a plasma physicists what's going on! Oh well, it looks like Universe is going to blast this planet to the next stage of it's evolutionary cycle, whether we understand the process or not!
A Comet Is Missing, So Spacecraft Will Go to NASA's Next Choice
New York Times, 18th December 2007
"Since what is now called the Epoxi mission was announced, a problem cropped up. Boethin, which is about a mile in diameter and was discovered in 1975, seems to have disappeared. Astronomers cannot locate it and suggest that it may have broken into pieces to small to be seen."
Comment: It's hard to believe that the astronomical community could be any more humiliated by their obvious inepititude re their standard comet theory.
Powerful rays hitting Earth emitted from nearby galaxies
Associated Press, 9th November 2007
"The team of scientists from 17 countries, using the Pierre Auger Observatory in Malargue, Argentina, found that active galactic nuclei are the most likely source of the highest-energy cosmic rays hitting Earth.
"We have taken a big step forward in solving the mystery of the nature and origin of the highest-energy cosmic rays, first revealed by the French physicist Pierre Auger in 1938," said the University of Chicago's James Cronin, a Nobel laureate and one of the nine authors of the report in the November 9 issue of Science."
Comment: I want to know what exactly they think they can do about these cosmic rays, that cause DNA to mutate or evolve, depending on your viewpoint. It's interesting that the article negates to mention that Earth is getting hammered by these ultra high energy particles.
Magnetic cocoons power energetic cosmic rays
NewScientist.com news service, 22nd October 2007
Astrophysicists Benford and Protheroe point out that over billions of years, the slow decay of the magnetic fields inside "fossil cocoons" or old galaxies with supposedly massive black holes, induces an electric field.
"These electric fields are strong enough to accelerate cosmic rays to ultra-high energies," says Protheroe. These scientists believe that ultra-high-energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) on their journey to Earth pass through many such cocoons.
"And the electric fields can repeatedly boost the energy, counteracting the effect of big bang photons" says Benford."
Comment: These scientists are looking for a good reason why standard Big Bang cosmology is falsified by observation i.e. ultra-high-energy cosmic rays can make it to Earth.
Scientists Race to Detect First Gravitational Waves
Wired.com, 22nd October 2007
"The race is on to detect ripples from the most massive events in the universe: spinning, orbiting, exploding or colliding ultra-dense objects like black holes and neutron stars.
In 1918, Albert Einstein predicted these cosmic events would radiate a propagating distortion of space and time: gravitational waves. After spending hundreds of millions of dollars to detect them, scientists have come up empty."
Comment: When we had the December 2004 Asian tsunami, a few scientists thought that we may have experienced a gravity wave because the tsunami was triggered by a seismic event that was later followed within 48 hours by a massive Gamma Ray Bust. (Scientist also lamented that the slip in the Earth's crust occured in one of the most least expected places and thus completely defied theory.) So, since the $365 million dollar Caltech-MIT Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) detector was 'down for maintenance', we are still none the wiser.
Cosmic factories produce rubies, sapphires Breakdown of these materials could explain space dust in the universe
MSNBC, 9th October 2007
"We were surprised to find what appears to be freshly made dust entrained in the winds that blow away from supermassive black holes," said study team member Ciska Markwick-Kemper of the University of Manchester in the U.K. The finding, to be detailed in an upcoming issue of Astrophysical Journal, could also help solve the mystery of where dust used to build the first generation of stars in the universe came from.
Comment: By the way, what are these "winds" coming from black holes that not that long ago were supposed to swallow everything up? Just imagine that black holes are a total fabrication, but are in fact multi-dimensional plasma entities that channel energy from higher dimensions into this dimension. Then all of a sudden, the descrepancies in black hole theory and observation make much more sense.....
Comet Collides With Solar Hurricane
SpaceDaily.com, 1st October 2007
"This is the first time we've witnessed a collision between a coronal mass ejection and a comet and the surprise of seeing the disconnection of the tail was the icing on the cake."
Comment: Well, it's no surprise to me that astronomers are surprised as they witness an electrical phenomena in space. Please read some astronomical journals and you will note the preponderance of the words, enigmatic, puzzling, unbelievable, stunning, surprising, shocking, baffling and even mind-blowing. We need electrical engineers and plasma physicists who can understand what they are seeing.
Dark Understanding of Matter
Thunderbolts.info, 14th September 2007
Comment: Plasma Universe theories are useful in that they help us to understand the role of multi-dimensional plasma, electrically charged particles that exist at the most fundamental state of matter. Hence, electromagnetism can explain how this electrically charged energy creates cosmological features that defy conventional explanation. Yet, ultimately, the dark matter problem can only be solved by understanding the aether or the electromagnetic energy of the vacuum that acts as the background 'spacetime' canvas of the universe. As Hannes Alfvén stated at the end of his 1970, Nobel Prize speech, "In the beginning was the plasma." All spiritual people are now invited to comprehend this fundamental truth.
Length of Saturn's Day Revised
Space.com, 6th September 2007
Using data collected by NASA's Cassini, Pioneer and Voyager spacecraft, scientists have revised the ringed planet's rotation period to 10 hours, 32 minutes and 35 seconds-about 15 minutes shorter than an estimate made only last year.
Comment: When you check out the vague methodology used to measure Saturn's day it does not really inspire, but non the less, 15 minutes lost in 1 year is impressive!
Two new papers make extraordinary claims about comets and life.
NASA Ames Research Center, 20th August 2007
"Napier et al. assert that life originated in comets, not on planets like Earth. Kennett et al. believe that a large comet impacted North America just 13,000 years ago, causing a mass extinction. For a critique, read on."
The field of Plasma Metaphysics will drastically change how humans view their reality. Some Russian scientists don't even believe that all comets are rocks protected by a plasma sheath, they believe some comets are pure plasma, "magnetic entities" if you will. As far as I am concerned, we are living in extraordinary times and for the few who can utilise their mental faculties and realise the importance of the scientific information that is being revealed, major enlightenment is around the corner.
In Search of Interstellar Dragon Fire
Physorg.com, 20th August 2007
"Our solar system is engulfed in a "dragon fire" of cosmic rays with a wide range of energy levels (the faster the cosmic ray, the greater its energy). Some are from known dragons like explosive flares on the sun. Astronomers believe the rays with the highest energy come from the largest dragons in the universe, including exploding stars called supernova, fast-rotating collapsed objects called neutron stars with incredibly strong magnetic fields, the heaviest collapsed stars called black holes that voraciously feed on infalling matter and spit out accelerated particles, and huge magnetic shock structures ejected far into interstellar space from these stellar sources. The energy for cosmic ray acceleration in all these sources comes from twisting, writhing motions of lower-energy charged particles in turbulent magnetic fields."
Well, all of a sudden astronomers have realised that we live in a plasma universe. Interestingly, metaphysical sources also speak of "the return of dragon energy", the biggest dragon that the Earth faces is the Sun and we have been told by mainstream and metaphysical sources that it will be breathing fire during the next solar cycle peaking in 2012.
Of Cosmic Rays and Dangerous Days
ScienceMag.com, 1 August 2007
Summary: Drops in biodiversity occur when the sun reaches the highest point in its orbit relative to the galactic plane, where most Milky Way stars reside. At that point, the solar system is closest to an incoming source of potentially lethal cosmic rays created by interactions between the Milky Way's magnetic field and radiation generated by a cluster of nearby galaxies.
The radiation consists of particles called muons, which are so powerful they can penetrate about 2.5 kilometers of sea water or 900 meters of rock--enough to reach just about every living thing on Earth and damage its DNA. The zenith of the Sun's oscillations match almost exactly with the times of the dips in the fossil record, so researchers state, "we've noticed an incredible coincidence."
Comment: I would like to add that radiation from a close-by supernova would have the same evolutionary impact too.
Giant Telescope to Start Watching Skies
Comcast News, 13 July 2007
One of the world's most powerful telescopes began spying on the universe on Friday, using its 34-foot wide mirror to search for planets similar to our own from a mountaintop on one of Spain's Canary Islands.
Perched atop a 7,800 foot peak on the Atlantic island of La Palma, the Great Canary Telescope received its so-called "first light" _ when the telescope is pointed toward the sky and focuses on the North Star.
"The GTC will be able to reach the weakest and most distant celestial objects of the universe," the Canary Islands Astrophysics Institute said in a statement.
"One of its aims is to find planets similar to ours in other solar systems," the institute added.
The telescope will have 36 hexagonal mirrors, of which 12 are already in place.
After the telescope has had its first light, the remaining 24 mirrors were to be placed and adjusted, and the scope will be fully functional within a year, according to the institute.
"With this (telescope) it will possible to capture the birth of new stars, to study more profoundly the characteristics of the black holes or to decipher the chemical components generated by the Big Bang," the institute said in a statement.
The telescope cost $143 million and seven years to construct. The Canary Island observatory said institutes in Mexico and the United States collaborated in the project, involving more than 1,000 people in nearly 100 companies.
Among those in La Palma for the inauguration was Brian May, lead guitarist of the legendary pop group Queen, who studied for some his doctorate in astrophysics at the Canary Island institute.
Comment: This is where I beg to differ. Due to the changing electrical conditions as our solar system traverses the spiral arms of our galaxy, asteroids and comets are becoming very unstable and can no longer be relied on to stay in their normal trajectory, hence why NASA are going to great lengths to hide their true position on NEOs (Near Earth Objects). NASA and other space agencies can't make accurate predictions, all they can do is watch the skies, which is why this huge telescope has been brought into service.
What happened before the Big Bang?
Eureka Alert, 1st July 2007
Are we seeing some sanity coming out of the physics community? Finally, someone has proposed that this universe was born out of the collapse of a previous universe. It has always amazed me that intelligent people could believe that our universe, space and time came from absolutely nothing. When you understand the true nature of a multi-dimensional aetheric plasma, then you will agree with Hannes Alfvén; "In the beginning was the plasma." Nobel Prize lecture, December 11, 1970 in Stockholm
Hubble Catches Jupiter Changing Its Stripes
Physorg.com, 29 June 2007
Well, as part of the massive spiritual transformation of our solar system, our scientists are witnessing "dramatic atmospheric changes" taking place in our planetary neighbours. "Between March 25 and June 5, Hubble's Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 captured entire bands of clouds changing color. Zones have darkened into belts and belts have lightened and transformed into zones. Cloud features have rapidly altered in shape and size." The same is taking place on Earth but our politicians are just thinking up ways to keep the populace ignorant whilst imposing new taxes. Meanwhile, the metaphysical community, well the few that understand what's going on, are busy preening themselves and don't care enough about the outside world. Is this an Atlantis situation all over again?
Warming Without SUVs On Neptune
INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY, 31st May 2007
"Climate: A world that can't shut out Al Gore, environmental alarmists and hot-air celebrities can't avoid the hysterical warnings that Earth is warming. But who knew that Neptune appears to be getting hotter, too?"
Now the problem we have is that the world is realising that something strange is happening but the controllers wish to convince the populace that it is a purely manmade phenomena. Meanwhile the science boffins report the facts as they understand them and people like me, try to educate others on what is really going on. Now, I'm impressed with Investor's Business Daily because they are happy to make money but they are questioning the reasoning behind what is going on, they are not interested in blind faith. So, the editor writes: "As any Neptunian could tell them, never mistake theory for fact."
Einstein's Biggest Blunder?: A Cosmic Mystery Story
New York Academy of Sciences, May 30th 2007
Quote: "The standard model of cosmology built up over a 20 year period up until the early 1990's is now dead. Its replacement may be far more bizarre. In particular, new data from a wide variety of independent cosmological and astrophysical observations, combine together to strongly suggest most of the energy density of the universe today may be contained in empty space!"
This is what Kristian Birkeland wrote over one hundred years ago.
"One may well believe, however, that a knowledge in the future of the electrotechnics of the heavens would be of great practical value to our electrical engineers. It seems to be a natural consequence of our points of view to assume that the whole of space is filled with electrons and flying electric ions of all kinds...It does not seem unreasonable therefore to think that the greater part of the material masses in the universe is found, not in the solar systems or nebulae, but in empty space."
K Birkeland, Norwegian Aurora Polaris Expedition 1902-1903. The question is: why has it taken 100 years for the rest of the astronomical community to catch up?
Booming sound waves heat up galaxy cluster
NewScientist.com News, 25th May 2007
Comment: Evidence that some kind of "pulse modulation", specifically a sound vibration is directing the evolution of plasma in galaxy clusters. Obviously there is no real theory here, just speculation. References to "gas" are incorrect, and should be interpreted in an electromagnetic universe as "plasma", electrically charged particles that exist in the most fundamental state of matter.
Hubble Reveals Ghostly Ring of Dark Matter
LiveScience, 15th May 2007
Comment: The "dark matter" that scientists are convinced must exist to explain the "missing matter" to provide the gravitational "glue" to stop galaxies like our Milky Way galaxy, falling appart is actually an aetheric template. Multi-dimensional plasma in dark mode and the overiding force is electromagnetic due to the effect of the charge to mass ration of plasma. Note the sheer arrogance in this statement, "I was annoyed when I saw the ring because I thought it was an artifact," so the response is when you see something that you don't understand is to just get angry. Typical!
Gamma-ray Burst: One of the Longest Ever Seen
Signs-of-the-Times, 11th May 2007
Comment: Good reporting at Signs-of-the-Times. I also note no reporting from mainstream sources. Anyway, this was quite some blast because it was for so long and close, estimated to be only 440 million light years away. Scientists believe that if a gamma ray burst is sufficiently close, it could do serious damage to the atmosphere and biosphere, perhaps wiping out the ozone layer and triggering a mass extinction. This GRB event is part of a series of energetc blasts helping to pushing Earth to the next rung of the evolutionary ladder.
World Climate report, 8th May 2007
Comment: Neptune is the planet farthest from the Sun (Pluto is now considered only a dwarf planet), and we have clear cut evidence of global warming. Quote: "Incredibly, an article has appeared in a recent issue of Geophysical Research Letters showing a stunning relationship between the solar output, Neptune's brightness, and heaven forbid, the temperature of the Earth. With its obvious implications to the greenhouse debate, we are certain you have never heard of the work and never will outside World Climate Report." Quote 2: "As they say on Neptune, global warming has become an inconvenient truth." You have to dig deep to find this information, because even the alternative news world can only do so much.
Black Holes May Fill The Universe With the Seeds of Life
Astrobiology.com, 22nd April 2007
Comment: Here, we have astronomers telling us that black holes do not swallow up all surrounding matter and in fact are spewing out particles at relativistic speeds. Again, we have incorrect terminology such as "gas" and "hot wind" when they should be talking about plasma and how electrical energy is focused in a plasma to generate spectacular ejections which are clearly visible in the cosmos. Why does all this matter? Well, we are being told from many different sources that our planet is about to get a serious hit of cosmic energy which will be evolutionary.
Near-Perfect Symmetry Revealed in Red Cosmic Square
Space.com, 12 April 2007
Comment: Seen in the infrared, this nebula resembles a giant, glowing red box in the sky. This article does not even attempt an explanation because traditional cosmology cannot explain how this beatiful feature was formed. Yet, this can be simply explained with plasma cosmology as the z-pinch effect of a Birkeland current, an electric powerline in space. See The Astrophysical Crisis at Red Square.
Global warming hits Mars"
Daily Telegraph, April 04, 2007
Comment: "GLOBAL warming could be heating Mars four times faster than Earth due to a mutually reinforcing interplay of wind-swept dust and changes in reflected heat from the Sun, according a study." First of all, more scientists are realising that massive changes are taking place in other planets in our solar system. Secondly, this report talks about mysterious "dust storms", but these should be compared to massive tornadoes with no power source in the traditional understanding of these meterological events. Yet, there are a few scientists who realise that these "dust storms" are an electrical phenomena, and strong electric fielda, often exceeding 4,000 volts per meter have been measured. So, in this report changes in the behaviour of the Sun are ignored in favour of a change in the property of dirt, which is just bizarre.
Spacecraft may surf the solar system on magnetic fields
NewScientist.com, 13 March 2007
More acknowledgement by the world's top scientists that we live in an Electromagnetic Universe. There will be a massive shift in our understanding of reality when the true role of electromagnetism is revealed. This will effect all levels of our sciences, including, cosmology, astrophysics, meteorology, physics, biology and medicine etc etc. The electromagnetic force is 1039 times stronger than gravity. So when we take into account the charge to mass ratio, for example with ions and electrons, gravity is insignificant. This article is giving us a huge clue that top scientists have started to realise this, but we need to be reminded that a few lonely heretics have had to wait decades for the mainstream to catch up.
Sun Blamed for Warming of Earth and Other Worlds
LiveScience.com, 12th March 2007
Global warming on Neptune's moon Triton as well as Jupiter and Pluto, and now Mars has some [scientists] scratching their heads over what could possibly be in common with the warming of all these planets … Could there be something in common with all the planets in our solar system that might cause them all to warm at the same time?
I think it is an intriguing coincidence that warming trends have been observed on a number of very diverse planetary bodies in our solar system, Peiser said in an email interview. Perhaps this is just a fluke.
I wonder whether these scientists have ever come across the principle of Occam's Razor, the simplest solution to a problem is usual the most correct. What's wrong with the idea that the Sun influences and controls ALL the planetary bodies and thus changes in solar activity will generate many atmospheric and other planetophysical changes in the planetary bodies in our solar system. Otherwise we have the current situation where scientists have to explain away all the coincidences......
Landmark completion of South Pole Telescope to help scientists learn
PressZoom.com, 1st March 2007
There are those in the astronomical community who have noted the haste in which telescopes are being placed on ice at the South Pole. It is not a very good place for astronomers to be and there are reports of high cancer rates. It appears that we are being signalled that there maybe an entourage of comets coming from the South on the way. We could also speculate, that the South Pole is a good place to watch the galactic center, so quite frankly, I don't believe the innocent sounding "official" scientific research that is being given to the unsuspecting general public. Comets drastically effect the electrical conditions in our solar system and if they get too close to the Sun, will cause massive solar flares. In turn this generates Space weather, effecting our Earth weather and electromagnetic environment surrounding Earth.
